Helper Quest (Jackalboy)

Nermine the Jackal shopkeeper is looking for someone to help her with some small errands, offering a reward to help you with your ever-changing appearance.

Note: This quest and the Rare Item Quest are mutually exclusive.

Step 1 - Getting Started

  1. Locate Nermine's shop, either via the Smith Haven Mall or the 'Strangeshop' situation.
  2. Talk to Nermine and offer to help Nermine. Accepting her offer to be given your first Jackal totem.
  3. Use the Jackal totem to finalize activation of the quest and gain your first Jackalboy mutation.
Rewards:
Granted the first Jackalboy mutation: the tail (+3 Dexterity). This form will revert any other tail mutation back to it.

Step 2 - Wyverns

  1. Offer to help Nermine to hear her first request: to obtain three samples of Wyvern Goop. Wyverns can be hunted in the Outside areas, such as the Library.
  2. Once acquired, talk to Nermine via the help Nermine command and gain your second Jackal totem.
  3. Use the Jackal totem to gain your second Jackalboy mutation.
Rewards:
Granted the second Jackalboy mutation: the skin (+4 Charisma). This form will revert any other skin mutation back to it.

Step 3 - Satyrs

  1. Offer to help Nermine to hear her next request: to obtain some wine from the Satyrs at the Museum.
  2. Explore the Museum until you locate the 'Bacchus Wine' event and pass a Dexterity Check to successfully follow some Satyrs back to their wine and obtain a sample. Failure results in fighting two Satyrs and needing to try again.
  3. Once acquired, talk to Nermine via the help Nermine command and gain another Jackal totem.
  4. Use the Jackal totem to gain your next Jackalboy mutation.
Rewards:
Granted the third Jackalboy mutation: the head (+3 Perception). This form will revert any other head mutation back to it.

Step 4 - Peacocks

  1. Offer to help Nermine to hear her next request: to obtain some three peacock feathers, giving you a cheeky kiss and a promise of future delights as added incentive! Peacocks can easily be hunted in the High Rise District.
  2. Explore the Museum until you locate the 'Bacchus Wine' event and pass a Dexterity Check to successfully follow some Satyrs back to their wine and obtain a sample. Failure results in fighting two Satyrs and needing to try again.
  3. Once acquired, talk to Nermine via the help Nermine command and gain another Jackal totem.
  4. Use the Jackal totem to gain your final Jackalboy mutations.
Rewards:
Granted the final Jackalboy mutations: the body and groin (+4 Dexterity). You will now revert to a pure Jackalboy after any changes. Gender shifts will persist, but the form will always be that of a Jackalboy.
You can now sleep with Nermine every 18 hours as her submissive playtoy. Infectious w/Jackalboy strain.
