Description | Using a combination of Electric Nanomagic and Biochemistry Nanomagic, those using Engraving Nanomagic are able to engrave an item, effectively renaming it as if using a Rename Tag and using the ^yellow^+engrave^normal^ command, but without the item. This still requires the usage of 1 common Electronic Salvage and 1 common Chemical Salvage to perform. In roleplay, engraving an object takes a minute per one inch by one foot line with 1/8 inch depth (2.5 cm wide, 30 cm long with a depth of 3.25 mm) worth of engraving. For every foot of length in writing (1 inch wide), it costs 1 common Chemical Salvage and 1 common Electronic Salvage expended in-scene. When in-scene, you aren't limited to letters when engraving and can do designs/patterns or even repeated etching into the same groove to cut through something eventually. This is an Active Nanomagic, and it cannot be used while another Active nanomagic is in use. | ||
