| A combat specialized soldier, Glein Herrick has the drive and mindset to fight till he drops. Course, he doesn't plan on dropping from combat ever. Being a Marine has that effect. Course, it ill-prepared him for fighting feral creatures and strange infections. Now a draconic woman, she continues to fight how she can, but it's not just people she's fighting. It's her own new urges as well. Still, she a fighter, and she'll keep fighting as long and best she can. Nothing else for it to be said. Course, getting paid on occasion is never turned down, since, well, she isn't getting paid by the US Government anymore, and maintaining gear and equipment is expensive as fuck on your own dime. Or cred. After a period of adjusting to her new self, she has gone on to put in a name change with Zephyr after some serious contemplation on December 19th, 2013. Now Buzamu Herrick, she has come to accept her new life as a woman, though she ain't yet ready to follow all the stereotypes of the gender. At least those that aren't reflective of her enhanced libido.

She is currently wearing a desert patterned set of MCCUUs, which has had adjustments made to account for the growth of a tail and wings, and re-sized for her new gender and size, with it's breast patches reading "U.S. Marines" over the left breast, and "Herrick" over the right. Resting on the lapels are Corporal rank tabs. The garrison cap atop her head had had little alteration done, despite the changes. Right now she has a simple ALICE harness on to help her keep her pistol and knife close by, should there be a need for them. The knife sheath is attached to the front right shoulder strap, and her pistol in a holster hooked to the belt on her thigh. Attached to the rear clasps is a simple field pack nestled between her wings. Wrapped around her neck is a Shemagh, this one white with a black net pattern upon it.

She is wearing her desert patterned MCCUUs, as well as a suit of armor over her utilities, designed specifically with her form in mind, even accenting it in some cases. It's plates allow for her to still be able to move, while covering most of her body with metal. The way the plates are worked they snap together and over each other in an clean package, without forcing her to get into the armor awkwardly. It also seems to have several hidden internal compartments built into it, reducing the amount of clutter on her. There's still MOLLE straps to facilitate additional equipment. It has a decently sized power-pack made out of 4 laptop batteries, located on the rear section of the belt, underneath the wings, supplying power to the tablet on the inside of her right forearm, and to the compartments in her left leg plate and in the breastplate. She also has a small ruck pack on her back between her wings hooked into the armor. Wrapped around her neck, acting as a buffer between her neck scales and her armor, is her Shemagh. Atop her head is a USMC issue LWH, also in desert pattern. It has been altered slightly to account for the additions of horns atop her head, allowing them to stick out of the top.
Her weapons of choice are a USMC Knife, Fighting Utility, in a sheath hooked to the back of her armor above the power pack, the grip in easy reach of her left hand for quick swipes, a LP2007A1EC in the holster built directly into the right leg plate of her armor and a customized H&K XM8 w/Knight's Armament Company Masterkey attached, hanging from a three point strap across her front, letting it be readily used in combat as needed without being in the way of anything else.

She's currently wearing a suit that's so skintight, it might as well be a second skin, leaving very little to the imagination. The material has a slight sheen to it, as it flexes and stretches with her every movement. It's silver hexagonal tiles are offset by a copper-toned trimming, alongside the porcelain tone plates and panels across the material at various points, such as covering the zipper, the wing slits and tail slot, as well as a mimicry of armor in teh style of a bikini. A window in teh shape of a v rests upon the apex of hte breasts, revealing a generous view of the form beneath the suit. Though the neck is high on the suit, it's hidden under the Shemagh Glein typically wears around her neck.
Worn atop this suit is Glein's typical ALICE harness, with it's thigh holster for her LP2007A1EC, and knife sheath with USMC Knife, Fighting Utility on her left shoulder. The more practical martial equip stands out starkly against aginst the almost sci-fi look of the bodysuit.

| Weapons
(Automated Weapon w/Ergonomic, Extra Lethal) Based on the H&K XM8, this rifle has been built from scratch for a more practical usage. Picatinny rail's put across the carry handle, replacing the original built in 1x red dot sight, now with iron sights and a more effective 1.5x reflexive sight. Additional rails have been put on the handguard, allowing for additional mods to be used, such as a PN/PEQ unit and flashlight mounted on the sides of the rifle, as well as the future option for either a foregrip, grenade launcher, or bipod to be hooked up. The stock's been replaced with a more practical collapsible stock akin to the M4 stock, with an added cheek rest. The pistol grip has been made to fit properly with a slightly larger but feminine draconic hand. The clips themselves have been altered, made stronger and clear, but straight. This is to account for the 7.62 caliber rounds used in the weapon. The final difference between the original XM8 model and this, is the use of a hexagonal camouflage pattern meant for use in an urban environment, using a concrete-gray base with black and white streaks to break up the outline.
Glein tends to carry 2 magazine types at a time, though on rare occasions will she carry three: Regular ammo in standard clear polymer magazines with a MAGPUL grip on the bottom, non-lethal rifle ammunition in similar magazines but with a band of blue tape right above the MAGPUL, and then 'Prime Special' ammo in magazines with a band of red tape instead.
- KAC Masterkey (Mounted onto XM8EC)
(Heavy Melee w/Basic Spread, Ruggedized) A underbarrel pump action shotgun attachment for an assault rifle by taking a remington 870 12-gauge pump action shotgun, removing the grip and stock, reducing the barrel and ammo tube length, and giving it a Picatinny attachment unit to mount underneath an assault rifle barrel. Has 3 rounds in the tube and 1 in the chamber, and is a weapon typically used to breech doors, though it accepts other 12-gauge shells for differing tasks.
- USMC Knife, Fighting Utility
(Heavy Melee w/Calibrated, Heavy, Miniaturized) More commonly called the KA-BAR, this knife has been painted with a non-reflective matte black paint, aiding in reducing light reflection and saltwater corrosion. This particular model has had the handle hollowed out, to fit a battery, from which coils of wire are taped and painted in a similiar manner to reduce the obvious footprint, with small clips holding them to the blade, giving the metal a slight electrical charge with every swing.
(Improved Laser Pistol w/Calibrated, Extra Lethal, and Ruggedized) Having taken several LP2007A1's by Zephyr, and cannibalized them, this version was crafted. The Edel Custom. By adding more effective micro-fans to the vents, as well as fluted venting, heat dissipation around the barrel has been improved, allowing for more powerful beams, or more rapid firing. Another alteration was in the power cell. By separating the battery from the beam's source, it has been made more practical for extended combat due to increased cooling capabilities. All of this is possible since it's simply a matter of unracking the battery from its housing, and put in a new one, all without distorting the alignment of the laser generation, which would, in some ways, reduce the effectiveness of the weapon without this separation. Due to the more replaceable battery, the rear most section of the pistol was removed, to facilitate the ability to easily replace the battery. This specific model has had a reflexive sight attached to the top picatinny rail, and on the bottom is a flashlight/laser pointer combo.
(Grenade) US Armed Forces standard fragmentation grenade. Standard variety.
(Smoke Bomb w/Cheap) Standard issue US Armed Forces smoke marker/grenade. Can come in red, green, orange, gray, yellow, blue, white, black, or violet colored smoke. Burns for 90 seconds to mark a location for aerial supports, or to help cover troop movements.
Armor
(Heavy Armor w/Heavy,Miniaturized) A suit of metal armour that covers the wearer from head to toe, specifically crafted to fit the alternative body structure of a dragon. Designed to be sleek and light, but still protective, some elements tend to be designed to accent the body, rather than just protect it. The entire outfit is heavily customized and modified, from the data pad tablet on the forearm to the hidden compartments it controls located on the front breastplate and right leg. The entire thing is powered by a battery pack located near the back of the waist, and is covered in a camouflage paint job that has the option to be altered with some commands on the same tablet as the hidden compartments.
(Module w/Light,Protective,Ruggedized) This helmet, the USMC replacement for the PASGT combat helmet, appears to look much like the PASGT helmet, though the there are some differences. This helmet is lighter, and provides more protection than the PASGT ever did, and is more comfortable with the v-neck strap and improved fit over the PASGT. This helmet has a desert MARPAT cloth helmet covering on it, with mounting bracket for NODs. There is also a set of goggles worn upon it, the cloth covered sight protection's nose set centered on the bracket in the front.
