It had been a cold day in Fairmont, as the colder weather of winter had begun to each even places as the Winter coast, with temps into the mid 50s on the breezy day.

Such weather though was not an issue right now for Milo the Pangolin as he sat in his seat on the third floor and read his paper. He smiled as he waited patiently for those that had applied or were interested to the job he had been assigned.

Ebreus rides the elevator up to the third floor of the Zephyr building, kitted out in all his armor. His grin hidden behind his helmet as he checks his dual shotguns, and the solar rifle he's finally getting the chance to bring on a combat mission. Seeing everything in order he reaches back to his grenade pouch to check he still has a few to be used. Feeling a good dozen or more in the pouch he knew he was all the more ready he would be.

Turns out he finished his checks just in time as the elevator opened and Ebreus stepped out. Seeing only the pangolin and knowing he wasn't, likely, going to be shot by Zephyr personnel he retracts his helmet as he approaches, "Hello Milo. You've called for agents?" he says.

The sounds of heavy footfall could be heard within the Zephyrian stairwell. Otto was never one for lifts, he had a pair of functioning legs, after all. 'Another great day for me, another great victory...' these were the words that rang within Otto's mind as he carries himself up and towards the second and third floors, with a kick in his step, a smile on his face, and his arsenal of various blades, poisons, elemental weapons and his new favorite toy, a chainsaw stained with the blood of its past victims perched upon his back as though it were a sword readily available.

He was in a good mood, jovial and bouncy indeed as he moves with grace, beaming with joy and practically glowing. Life was good, especially after his reassignment to the Prometheans. Less bullshit patrols, more time with those closest to him, more time to himself, more time to just... breathe, to really LIVE! He wanders into the room and spots Ebreus, armored up in that over glorified enviro-suit. *slap* he strikes the mutant's shoulder and shoots him a wink. "Yo Eb. Here to do some good? Let's get shit done today! I am pumped!" the jackal yells enthusiastically and fistpumps, before glancing towards Milo. "Others are coming, at least I suspect someone else is... though... my colleague here might not like who I mean." Otto snickers and gives Ebreus a pat with his tails.

Arris would notice the group gathered around in the Zephyr building, checking hir comm unit briefly to make sure this was the group that was headed to the Fairhaven sewer inspection. Though, sie would spot Otto in the group, and snicker to hirself as sie thought up a mischievous plan... before considering hir surroundings, now thinking back on it and deciding the practical joke would be more safely done elsewhere. Sie would instead approach the group, giving Otto a normal booty bump again. "Heya, Otto. Ebreus. Can't help but feel like I'm seeing you guys quite a lot, hah." The rifle strap over hir shoulder is adjusted as sie looks to the pangolin. "Milo, I think? 'Name's Arris, is a pleasure to meet you."

The door seems to almost burst with golden light the moment it is swung open. The sun long since faded away leaving only the room to illuminate the titanic golden creature that slowly strolled through. Perfectly metallic in color and luster the margay taur could almost appear like the finest statue ever crafted with remarkable detail, though the fact was she was indeed a living entity rather then the likeness there of. Almost barely capable of squeezing through the door frame for how massive she was in both physique and size, almost as though a truck were trying to fit in through the door or rather a truck and trailer given she were alot larger then just about anyone present. An endless flow of golden fur followed in after like her tauric half were an enormous beast of it's own. But her eyes radiated with a sun-like glow, like burning topaz or amber, bright and alight with a lively humor. Her physique spectacular and flawless, she was muscular, powerful featuring four arms and rows of cleavage each just large enough to eclipse her bear-like paws leading down her lionesk/tauric half, though still retaining her feminine curves, shape and sleekness, appearing Amazonian in a way. A faint smile curling her lips while she quietly stares at Otto with a wide grin beaming, almost proud in a way for some reason...

The cold cut against the building and city about, a touch of wind pulling through the breeze. For most days, it would have sent Mokou scurrying for the nearest indoors facility or warmest corner of a room. But today was no normal day. The message that had been flung across the waves and the boots that stomped up stairs spoke to that much at least. Mokou's eyes gazed out at the final few steps towards the destination, a floor and a man familiar now, if only professionally. Were her matte black coat and fatigues any indication, protection was the order of the day. At least, more so than the average day to day fair. Climbing the last few steps up to her destination, a slow gaze set upon those assembled, falling to an almost familiar pangolin... and a very familiar vulpine. A touch of a wince crossed her muzzle, but was quelled a mere moment later. After all, the familiar sight of someone much more... personally precious made themselves known.

Hustling on over, a hand raised in greeting as she stepped on towards the assembled lot. A flash of a smile flew across her maw as she reached out, gripping and gently shaking that familiar jackal's shoulder. "Fancy seeing you here Otto... Ebreus." A quieter nod, and a touch of a smile graced her maw as she peered up to the vulpine. Chilly but... open. "And... Arris, if memory serves. Glad to see you again." A hand fallen, offered to the gator lass... before the golden creature stepped through. What could be said about it, that their presence alone could not? Apparently, a confused tilt of her head, nod given. "Err... Heya?"

Meanwhile Khaybat is currently trying to be sneaky as she enters the room though for what reason is hard to tell. Then again she hardly tends to make much sense either so there's that too. Upon getting to the seating the doe settles into one of them near an aisle, wiggles in place and then settles. At least there doesn't seem to be anybody making her go into heat against her will like last time she came to help!

The Pangolin greeted people as they came in with a smile, and offered them seats as they hustled in. Milo also chuckiled a little as the estravagance of some of the entrances and smiled. Once everyone has settled down, he gets up and begins "Welcome to all. As some of your may know, thanks to the help of some of our agents and with support from New Dawn." at which point he gives a small nodded smile to Ebreus. "Zephyr has been able to garner some relations with a Sewer Colony that that had discovered us during an earlier mission for Sewer Survalliance." The Pangolin says as he turns and continues. "It is our luck from that, that we found out that the Queen of the colony is a former Sewer Maintenance worker, and has been happy to grant us a route to entry into the Sewer Reclamation plant." Milo takes a quick pause at that point and smiles "This, is where you guys come in for the mission. You are to follow the route given to the access door, enter the code to enter the building, and journey to a above group exit so as to give Zephyr a position of the location and entry point for the building in hopes of getting it rehabilitated and started to help get the system online." he says with a big smile "It is the hope that with that, Fairhaven may be improved greatly." Milo completes a bit of a glow to his words "With that said, are there any questions?"

Ebreus smiles just a little wider as he hears the familiar heavy footfalls of Otto. As the Jackal comes into view and slaps his suit he looks amused for a moment at the joke of power armor not really being armor... of course Ebreus had supplemented his suit with plates but they couldn't properly be integrated onto the frame, even with Ebreus' engineering prowers, due to limitations on the initial design. "Yeah, this should be good." he replies as he fist bumps his firend and only raises an eyebrow as him implying someone he dislikes.

Once their gator ally comes up and greets them he replies, "Hey Arris, nice to see you coming along." He gives her a thumbs up happt to have them on the team. Seeing the Margay Taur follow the gator in he nods a polite, "Hello." to the unfamiliar face even though they appear to be an associate of some description of Ottos.

Then he spies the exact person that Otto was reffering to... the Fennec that almost got him killed twice. He takes a deep breath. No good would come from assaulting her in Zephyr Tower.... and it seems she recognized him with her body language upon seeing him. "Hello Mokou." he replies to the greeting from the Fennec, his distaste still apparent in his voice.

As Milo begins the briefing he nods slowly along as the objective is explained to them and when the time for questions comes up he hums a single note before saying, "So trek through the sewer to a treatment plant and then radio back here once we're there? Are we expected to face a significant number of ferals or have to leave the Bubble for this?" Smiling warmly all the while, he feels someone bump his booty, his head snapping to his side where he regards Arris. "Hehe, hi there. I dare say I am quite liking seeing you around so often, Arris." the jackal answers and gives the gator's rear a quick slap.

His nose twitches as he recognizes a scent approaching, a very familiar... familial one even! Before the room had a chance to be graced by the golden-furred feline's radiance, Otto was already peering back and wagging his tail once Eri enters. He snickers as she has some trouble getting through the door, then dives right in to wrap his arms around her front and give her a tight hug! "Hi Eri." he greets as he peers up at her with love and affection, before gently releasing her.

As if that wasn't good enough, the one that follows and pats his shoulder made the jackal barely able to resist his urge to just grab her and squeeze her tightly against himself. Rather, he kneels down and looks her over, then casts her a thumbs up and winks, "Looking well prepared, hon. Glad to have you with us!" and indeed he was~ "Let's go do some good out there. Make a change, leave a mark."

He did quite fondly remember Khaybat though, the doe seemingly sneaking into the room and quietly making her way into the room. A touch of Illusion Nanomagic was all Otto needed to give her a friendly grope on the rear, one no one else saw, but only she felt.

Rising the jackal leans against the table and states firmly, "No sir! Give us the code and the place to go and we'll be back in time for dinner!" he yips confidently, even going so far as to strike the table with one hand. He peers back at his colleagues and glances subtly at Ebreus, relieved that he was present to act as a buffer, or a spiked wall if need be, should he and Mokou clash.

Arris jumps a little at the slap to hir behind. Though the action isn't disliked, it does catch hir off guard for not expecting it. "Ah! Ah, aheh, well, I don't mind your presence either, really."

The gator nods at the instructions given to hir. "Sounds simple enough. I'm hoping we have a map or something we can use to minimize the amount of time we spend in those sewers?" Sie grimace-smiles at the prospect of leaving the bubble, as mentioned by Ebreus. "Gee, I really would prefer to stay in the bubble, today. I learned a new nanomagic recently, and I'd like to try it in the field."

Eri goes from smiling so grandly and happily to wearing the face of worry as Otto hugs her. Her silky golden fur and bountiful amounts of cleavage cascading down her chest and under her tauric frame more or less enveloping Otto in fall of softness. Though it wasn't Otto so much as Otto's things that worried her. Her arms wanting to wrap around the Jackal but seemingly unable to find some place to plant her seemingly bear-sized paws, avoiding the chainsaw on his back so gruesomely painted and whatever poking bits he also had at the ends of barrels and so forth. In the end she but waves her paw at the pangolin and perhaps Ebreus and everyone else with her four seemingly defeated arms. While a soft scent of honey fills the room off the giant lioness struck so silent.

A gaze that could bend steel was leveled upon the fennec lass as she entered into the room propper. A silent understanding passed in that simple, three word exchange. Not malevolence, but something simple in manner and equitable held between. Nothing was to be said, the lass pursing her lips for a brief moment before turning back from Ebreus. To deal with the rift there would be a matter beyond the scope of the present, and likely a trial of its own. Her ears held each sylable that was uttered, rolling them about before letting them sit. Quiet. Dead.

Life though, seemed to be the theme of the world aside from such a bleak touch. A familiar scent, grin and voice met her there, glancing up and down the familiar lad. "Thanks Otto. Still a little... off putting, but it is more than sufficient for most." A wink was offered back, the lass standing a touch closer to him as her tail irritatingly refused to still itself. "Do some good? Heh, That is what we can only hope and strive for. That a mark will be left?" A quiet yipping chuckle sounded as she nodded, glancing back between the lot, "The question is what sort of mark, not if a mark will be made hon... So let's make it a touch... better then, shall we?"

A brief nod was shot back towards Arris as she made her presence well and known, considering what information was presented. The fennec lass shook her head as she looked on over to Willy. Scribbling something down on her comms the lass quietly murmured to herself as she put the details together. "Sewer, Abandoned building, the sludge, underground... Alright. Can work with that." Her gaze fell behind her for a moment, Otto running over to the massive taur, wrapping arms about them in a tender embrace, even if it was hesitantly returned. A flick of her ears, the lass tilting her head, and she stored that away for later, a touch warmer smile offered back to the large one, quietly sniffing at the feeling as much as scent of honey seemed to roll off of them. Goodness... And she was... Goodness. "Err... Right. Questions? None. None viable at least. Save... when shall we go?"

Khaybat is just being her usual adorable bleat self! Upon spotting Otto though he suddenly has a fuzzy backpack in the shape of a deer hanging onto him. It would seem she hasn't forgotten about him saving her during the whole fiasco at the nuclear plant. Or the part where he carried her across the muck in the sewers.

Milo looks to Ebreus "As far as Zephyr understands how the bubble works, no. We expect the plant is somewhere on the outskirts of the city, and thus well within the bubble. As for Ferals, reports from Agents that within the Sewer there has been little resistance to their movement, thought as we have not been within the plant the same is not known. It is likely best to keep your wits about you." He then turns to Arris "The entrance is situated near the end of one of the main Sewer lines and the Queen gave us a general path, so getting there shouldn't be an issue, though due to age of information we do not know if there are any problems along the way. I would ask that such be recorded in any case for later time."

Looking about and believing most questions have been answered he smiles "Unless there is something else that needs to be dealt with, I have some lanterns should it been needed for you all and some recording paper if need be."

"And then you can be on your way. Good luck, and I hope to hear a report from you this evening."

Ebreus can't help but he lightly amused by his friends eagerness to just rush into battle without so much as knowing where the battle was. He'd never asked after where the skilled warrior/engineer was from but it seemed, at least to Ebreus, that Otto could fit in with quite a few warrior-cultures. Though that was a conversation for some other time, for now he turns his attention to the unfamiliar feline. "Guess you and Otto know each other. Nice to meet you Eri." he says.

That was another think he would have to ask about some other time: why Otto liked this fennec that had endangered the life of his friend twice and his own life at least once. Again it was a subject for another time and this particular time the fennec was making sense, living leaves marks and one must be careful to make them beneficial.

There, apparently, being no questions beyond his own and Arrises. "Alright then, I guess we'll be headed off then. Otto and I should be able to handle any blockages without too much effort." He stretches lightly and moves his solar rifle from ballancing on his shoulder with the aid of one hand to being cradled in his upper arms, in a style similar to Bolba Fett, "And ferals shouldn't pose too much trouble to a group of this size."

The trek to the Sewers is brisk and cold, but nothing much the agents haven't seen before. Getting into the sewer though is a bit ooky, the sewer as usual is damp and dreary and has an almost creeping cold that tries to seep onto the agents.

Ebreus reaches and enters the sewer totally unphased by any of the, most likely, nausia inducing, oders, goos, and other disguesting things that may be there as his Power "Armor" was at least good for protecting him from hostile... or in this case disgusting environments. He glances back at the group to see how those without suits are doing, "Everyone okay? I know there's some stuff bad enough to turn the stomachs of seasoned agents down here."

"Pheeeeeewww... someone light a match." Otto jokes as he makes his way down into the damn, dark abyss of the sewer system. He had neglected his power... ahem... "armor", but was doing fine nonetheless. It was nothing he hadn't encountered before, in fact compared to the ultra excremental he'd once played part in taking down, this sewer was a field of flowers on a lovely spring day after some light rainfall.

He was carrying one of the lanterns, one in his left paw, leaving his right, dominant one free in case some sort of icky muck mutant decides it wants to shove its unmentionables in them. "Glad I didn't bring my coat. Icky... messy... I won't mention what we are probably walking in, ladies and gentlemen, just try not to think about it!" he announces, lifting his lantern to have a good look around.

"Yeeeah, we're on the right trail alright... buuut... I mean... oh jeeze." the jackal covers his muzzle and nods towards what lay ahead. "That's a big ol' steaming pile of multi-colored sludge right there. I'll bet any one of you five hundred creds something manifests from it. I've seen worse... rainbow puke demons..." he muses with a shake of his head. "You folks doing alright? Arris? Mokou? Eri? Khay?"

As the gator descended down into the sewers, sie would get a little lightheaded at the stench. Covering hir nostrils with a hand does nothing to filter out the stench. "Oh, god, it's worse than I remember." Hir eyes water a little, unable to take the smell. Hir memories of this place from long ago were rose-tinted at best: maybe sie didn't have as accurate sense of smell back then, or maybe all the gators sie did helped mask the disgusting smell. "No, not one bit," sie would respond to Otto. Thinking for a moment, sie would pull out a hankerchief, tea bag, and a rubber band from hir pockets, before Arris makes a makeshift gas mask. Only slightly more pleasant than hir surroundings, but it was an improvement.

Eri turns up her nose and otherwise waits for everyone else to proceed before she decides to take a moment and unfur herself, leaving nothing for the filth to stick to. And instead await to be the last to go down the manhole. "It isn't the worst I've dealt with..." She whispers to herself before beginning her dark descent, hoping to still yet remember who she is, and not have to follow a paper trail telling her she's been a horrible person...

Khaybat meanwhile continues trying to follow after Otto and Ebreus though she's a deer so it shouldn't be surprising in the least. This time she at least has her own suit to get through the muck though so that's an improvement from the last visit she did to the sewer.

Down back into the dark, dank musty caverns of the sewers. Her boots hit the sludge heavy, every step seeming to suck her down, pulling back into the mire that was the place. Mokou gave a shallow breath, thankful that at the very least, her frame provided some help for this... place. A slow breath, the lass holding that rubbery nozzle in front of her, that metallic backpack of hers unmoving, quietly sloshing as she paced onwards. Had cost her an arm and a leg, but at least this... suit helped. A slow sigh fell from her lips, a murky mist seeming to fall as she trudged onward. Ebreus's pause held her up, the lass glancing to those familiar and no. Otto trudged on, implacable as ever, though it seemed the more sewer oriented companion was.... not doing as well. She stepped back, moving in step beside Arris as sie gagged on a... teabag. A flick of her ear, before she shrugged. Whatever helped, helped.

A few steps onward, the lass keeping an eye out in the dim light till Otto called back. A trail as much as a pile of garbage before them, swirling and rippling betwixt itself. Her eyes narrowed, piecing together curves and turns, molds... and... something off. "I'd bet you dollars to doughnuts that you're right Otto... Kinda reminds me of Jade, you know, the lass from Red Court, after a nasty bender." Leveling that nozzle at the pile of sludge, she glanced back for but a moment, that massive taur now much... slighter. "Come on... either through this... blast, or around in uncharted territory. Path of most resistance and all." Glancing back at the pile, a quiet sigh fell from her lips. "Now... just have to hope they didn't give us the place they couldn't use because of these rainbowballs..."

As the group approaches the bridge, the pile of goo girls that Otto saw and Mokou mentioned suddenly rises up and stands in the way of the entrance to the bridge. In front of them, they now find what looks like a giant blob of goo girls standing in front of them at least 10 in count, all seemingly fused together and sharing one giant body at the moment. As the rise they look to the group and say in chorus "PAY THE TOLL TO CROSS!" as some of them point to the payment machine beside the bridge.

looking at the machine, the group would see what seems to be a display listing 10 thousand freecreds, an access point for transferring funds and a ticket printer.

Ebreus nods once as Otto confirms that the sewer is still an environmental hazard that makes him glad he is wearing his armor. He readies his rifle so punch holes through any mutant unlucky enough to try to jump them. "Sorry Otto... was a bit to lax on training with Burninate." he lets his unpowered friend know that he's got no flames with which to burn away the odor as the gater proves themselves not to be a sewer gator as they quickly make a gassmask.

Seeing the rest of the party make their way down he looks back down the path they were to travel as Mokou points out a danger... moments before it presents itself to them. He has his Solar Rifle trained on it the whole time. "I am a representative of the Eureka government and the Promethean organization. Here on a joint operation on behalf of Zephyr Inc. On whos authority are you operating a toll bridge?" he retorts.

The jackal sighs softly and shakes his head. "Uhm... no." he says quietly, then offers his fennec lass one hand. Lifting her up against himself once she takes it, the jackal moves to brush past Ebreus and then heaves the mass of slime over himself, their mass proving a strain on his arms, but not enough to prevent him from slipping right under the opening he'd made for himself, taking Mokou with him. She was small, and that came with its set of advantages. Being light and maneuverable to name two, and easy to move around in situations like this.

Setting the lass back down, the jackal makes his way to the other end of the bridge, then settles down in the lotus position there and leans back against the nearby wall. "Hey, you listen to Eb, goo girls! Zephyr has custody of the building and what not! Legal jargon, objection and what not..." he says calmly as he crosses one leg over the other, and awaits to see what the others do.

Arris follows shortly behind the group, unslinging hir rifle from hir shoulder to fix a silencer onto the tip of the barrel. The pile of goo suddenly coming to life catches hir off guard, though sie tries hir best not to fall down and land in some pile of sludge sie didn't spot earlier. Regaining hir composure, sie glances between the goo blob, then the machine, then to the blob again. Seeing hir teammates Ebreus attempt to get a toll permit from the goo pile and Otto supporting him, sie would look to the machine. "Gah, jesus, anything to get out of here faster." Approaching it, sie holds hir tablet up to the access point and let up the 10k cred payment listed.

Eri silently folds her four arms over herself not allowing her distaste for the smell to show, appearing calm silent if not off in her own little world, at least until Otto makes a brash move, forcing her to throw her hands to help Otto, though she's apparently not on the top of her game today even as titanic as she is crammed into such a small space likely doesn't help. And in the end all she seems to do was make herself icky for the time being. And without wishing to be stuck under the beast she relents and backs away as fast as she can manage.

For a moment, Mokou quietly sighed, putting the heft of her palm against her scalp, slowly rubbing her forehead as her ears caught those words. Not the words of payment. Sludge monsters can charge whatever they want for their bridge, its likely been the only one there for ages after all. But the... permit... authority... toll bridge... For a moment though, she thought to do something. To speak likely, as horrid as that always turns out. However, the offering of a hand was enough to let her know that... wasn't the only one on that front. Lifted by Otto, a quiet chuckle fell from her lips, the lass pulling out her comms for a moment. A transaction code pulled up, slapped against the toll machine as they passed. Twas enough to set her back a while... but worth it. A friend close and... that other lass. Eri was it? Possible friend then... Another touch wired through, the lass making it through with the other two, settling upon the far way. A gaze tossed back, looking to the small doe, a questioning glance offered, comms hoisted as though in question...

Khaybat ends up staring at the lewdgoo amalgamation and ends up watching the others put their money in the machine. The doe shuffles over to the machine and puts her own money in--though where it comes from is hard to guess--but rather than immediately shuffle after the others she ends up making to try shyly touching them.

The Goo Girls yell "MEANIE!" at Otto after having shoved his way through them their body reforming into the original block. The group then looks back to Eberus "This bridge is our own and no one elses. Zephyr has never come down to claim this place, so why should we bother." They say before they are handed the tickets for Eri and Arris and lets them pass. The Girls giggle a little at the shy touch as Khaybat makes her cross "We are always welcome to have others join in sometime..." they say with a giggle. "Maybe even become like us."

"Cry me a river!" Otto replies with a loud yell, having also not noticed Mokou pay the toll for the others. He does see the tickets be handed to Eri and Arris, though... and his initiative to go help his mother had immediately fading once she was given a way through by means unknown. He blinks and shrugs, figuring someone paid? Was it Arris? Who knew... The jackal reaches into his pack and pulls out a laptop, then opens it up and starts to fiddle with it, gesturing for Arris, Mokou, Eri and basically everyone on the other side to come and have something to do. Pulling up some footage he'd recovered from a hard drive, he shows them a (if somewhat low quality) playback of someone's vacation video. They were in Paris, at the Eiffel Tower, before this whole nanite mess had happened. The tall structure was beautiful in the shots, lined with lights and shining bright in the nightly background, tourists of all... well, they were all human, and all looked alike to Otto now...

Ebreus looks momentarily surprised as Otto just walks on past, focing the goo out of the way and bringing Mokou with him as Eri attempts, and fails, to follow. He resumes his glare at the giant goo as he spies Arris pay the toll and whent on ahead... leaving him, Eri, and Khaybat to pass the giant goo, having not noticed Mokou pay for several people while she was spirited acrost. He sighs when the doe also just pays the toll and goes to move on... thinking to himself, 'Why is it that nothing goes well when the Fennec is involved?'

He can't help but snerk when the goo calls Otto a meanie. He takes a step closer and continues, "Well then you have nothing backing you up then. I'd rather not waist slugs or grenades so how about this, get out of my way and I'll fly across, not touching your bridge at all." Should the goo comply he does flies as offered.

Arris would peer over Otto's shoulder at the screen, at the photos of Paris, and the Eiffel tower. "Oh! Is that France? My parents told me all about that place! They say Paris is the city of love... or, something." The gator goes starry eyed, finned tail wagging excitedly as sie forgets about the pervasive scent of the sewers, even if for a moment. "Once we can get a boat or plane or something, I'd love to see the Louvre!" The sparkle in hir eyes dims a little. "...uh, assuming that France is okay. And, it... probably isn't, knowing what happened to Japan..."

Eri trying to fling the mess off herself from trying to help Otto or even follow after the salamanderess merely remains a silent giant standing before the mass of goo girls and folding her arms across her chest and taking her ticket, pretending like nothing happened and silently going on her way after Otto...

Settling down on the other side, Mokou quietly pulled up her feet underneath her, glancing back at the laptop. A portal to a world hardly known anymore. A picture... a moving one that told of a world she only remembered in the stories of books now. A tower... Eiffel her memory provided. Looking at the world thorough that tiny portal to the past, her ears perked at the words provided. Louvre... Palace of Pictures and Photos. Right... She only just registered her pawpad brushing by the side of the screen... Pulling it back just after. "I've... Man... Look at all the... Humans... They look so..." She paused... furrowing her brow. Eyes lit upon them... before she stood, shaking her head. Never...nevermind that.

When the goo girls say about playing Khaybat wiggles in place and seems to look from side to side, then goes to hand the goo girls a piece of paper with the letters IOU on it. Seems she intends to come back after the group is done and see if the goos will really make goo on their offer to play with her.

The Goo Girls shrug as Ebreus flies past without touching the bridge and lands on the other side, and giggle and take the IOU from Khaybat before they slide off into their pile as the group has finished crossing. Continuing ahead, they group journey's around a corner and find themselves looking at the back of slough, which is pouring into the main path. There does seem to be a gap to the sides of the drop, but it's a little bit of a tight squeeze.

Ebreus lands after getting around the nusance of a goo and their roll bridge. He spies the group looking at Ottos laptop and grins, "Nice scenery." he says as he continues to walk. He then calls back, "Oh by the way I got a laptop as well Otto, if you don't mind I could use a copy of the floorp lan you were workin' on." As they round the corner and see a swamp of sewage he shakes his head and after a short while of focus and some expenditure of builder nanites he has made a clear path and treks onward, "Hopefully nobody claims this as their toll bridge on the way back." he comments as he crosses.

"Sure Eb. I'll send em over. And yes, actually." he answers the others once the laptop was put away, one paw extending to be placed over Mokous as she reaches for the screen. "I've never been to France, but I would love to see what became of Europe. So much culture... be a shame if it... vanished." he sighs as his friend worked on that bridge. Once it was done, the jackal makes sure not to slip and fall into the... erh... liquid (gag), his nostrils burning as he struggles to keep his lunch down, the disgusting cascade of waste really putting his stomach to the test.

He icks and he yucks, he blehs and he blarghs, he tip-toes across the path made and takes care to watch the others, hoping they'd not need to rescue anyone from a most disgusting fate... Once the gap is cleared, the canine presses his fingers into his thumbs and makes a mock pair of binoculars over his eyes. "Oh look, the door we were sent to unlock. That was easy. Fifty creds says something jumps out at us right before we get there?" he offers with a chuckle, then looks around "Okay, who has the code? Hon? You were writing things down, right?" he turns to Mokou.

Arris recoils a little at the sight sludgefall. "Eeewww, what's even producing all this stuff?" Sie gives Ebreus a thankful nod as he diverts the path of the sludge, gladly taking the drier path offered by the newly formed bridge, shielding hir face from any stray droplets coming from the falls on either side of the path. Leaving the bridge, sie would chuckle a little at Ebreus' comment.

Eri holds her breath and looks away from the falls as she inches across this bridge finally speaking up for the first time since the adventure began. "With all the nanites taking care of our bodies, and breaking down the waste we would otherwise have into the most basic components and years after this city has been infected with the nanomachines.... You would thing all that could flow through here would be water and only such... But I fear that some of the more cruder fetishes may have spawned such filth at which we are tippy toeing around... I cannot and do not wish to imagine what ferals or not so feral persons have been doing to make all this.." She remarks, though with a voice befitting a matriarch, soft, soothing and gentle, yet commanding, like an opera singer, but more angelic.

Mokou slowly trudged onwards, down the corner and beyond into the dark. Even though the sound of the horid falls ahead prepped her... not even the suit or its confines could prevent the stench from ripping through her muzzle. A gag sounded, the lass shaking her head. "Gosh darn this... just... Why..." Poor sniffer. Giving a quiet sigh through her mouth, she shifted slowly closer, nudging up to the sleuce of ... bile. She paused though, the others ariving and looking over it... Before Ebreus grunts, hoisting a bridge from the bile, forming something out of the sewage. At least there was that.

Making her way across, the fennec cracked a faint smile back at the door. Halfway there after all. Making her way over to it, she simply rolls her eyes. Tolls. There are worse fates that could have been. Rummaging about in her comms, the lass quickly produces the code that had been offered, sidling over to the door. "Blasted... thing. Geh. Should be just... a... moment." Flicking her ears back at the... unfamiliar voice, she turns for a moment. Strange.... but fitting. She shook her head, swiftly punching in the code, readying for whatever may be. "Then let's... find out..."

Khaybat goes to follow after the others when they cross the bridge he just made. She gives the other mutant a ._. face wen he makes a crack at the poor goo girls' expense. The doe would have added in flicking his ears but that would require effort she doesn't feel like putting in right now! Especially since she doesn't know how much farther they have to go.

The code properly entered, the door beeps and they hear a click, before with a simple push the door slides open, revealing the bottom level of the place. The Reclamation has seen better days, as it has been some time since the place had seen anything more than a stay feral. Equipment in the place seems to be largely run down from wear, but nothing that couldn't be rebuilt with the right amount of nanite likely. There are also the periodic "stain" as one would expect.

The group slowly works their way up to what they think is the way towards what they think is the ground level of the building. As they reach the stairs, most of the group hears from above. "You guys are so...shhh....silent I smell something" before there is a suddenly stampering of feet.

Ebreus nods as Otto walks down the bridge he has made and when he offers the wagor, "Yeah... almost definitely not as simple as we see." he replies as Arris comes around. When she points out the sewagefall he shrugs, "An excremental orgy maybe?" he hypothosizes... though as Eri speaks up and further explains that pretty much any ferals or even non-ferals could be doing this he nods in agreement. He watches the Fennec as they dart ahead and fuss with the door, "For once I agree with you. I've no interest in the source of those falls." Seeing the door open with nothing pouncing upon Mokou he shrugs, "Well that was pleasantly unexpected." he says... then as the voice from above comes in he steps up, "Spoke too soon. Sounds like fun, eh Otto?" he continues as he aims his shotguns and Solar Rifle through the door.

"Fun? What? An excrem-ugh... uugh... blugh..." the jackal lowers his head and holds his breath. These images did not agree with his stomach, and he had one hell of a vivid imagination. "Please never mention that again." he shakes his head, then draws his laser rifle. The device lets off a high pitched whirr as it powers up, then goes silent. The jackal's ear tilts as he picks up on some voices. "Yeah, there's someone up there. Uhhh, I know this might sound unlike me, but... let's NOT blast them into a bloody mist at first glance? For all we know, they're civilized." he recommends, despite having taken point... because... someone had to? He wasn't sure.

Climbing the stairs was simple enough, and the voices they'd heard was a clear indication SOMEONE was up there... but who? Were they friendly? Well, only one way to find out. Otto was a Promethean now, so why not adopt the Promethean mindset? He puts his rifle away and takes a deep breath, perhaps they were just some innocent bystanders that won't do them harm. He appears out of the top of the stairs, first poking his nose out to sniff the air. Well, whatever he smelled, it prompted him to call out "Helloooo, pizza delivery!" before appearing out there.

The jackal looks between a plethora of mutants, one of which was a rather attractive dragoness. She smiles and sultrily hisses, "Hello there. Glad you have decided to join us. I always wanted more boys to play with...GET THEM!" she orders, before the Skunk Boys charge right at the jackal! "Woah!" he yelps and ducks out of the way of two claw swings, then spots the third attack and locks one arm around the fox boy, locking him in place. He squeezes so hard that the poor vulpine passes out from asphyxiation, collapsing to the ground. He raises his arms and says "No need to be violent... come on now... You're outnumbered anyway." he says as he moves aside for the rest of his team.

Arris glances up at the ceiling when sie hears the speaking. "Hey, let's not get violent when we don't need to, alright? Let's go up there and see what the... uh, residents? What the residents of this treatment plant, or whatever we're in, I forget, what they're up to." Though hir words are of peace, sie adjusts hir rifle over hir shoulder - not holding it at the ready yet though, as sie follows behind Otto up the stairs.

"Woah, woah, miss, let's not get rowdy in here, alright?" Sie would climb up the stairs, adding a bit of a roll to hir hips as sie slowly approached the dragoness in the room. "I'd gladly make your acquaintance for today, miss..." Hir tail would sway back and forth, tail fins flitting teasingly as sie stands before the dragoness.

Eri came completely unarmed, and in fact without much of anything of note. The salamander bare, naked and with only what her physical poweress and what the nanomachines could afford her for fighting, not that this was much, something Otto should be well aware of. After his most recent excursion in the wilds so far from home. Though she simply presses up along the outside of the door frame so that everyone else may go before her, given she was literally a golden target the size of a billboard. But once the excitement starts she inches into the melee. "My goodness all without actually bloodshed so far Otto, I'm so proud~!" The salamander swoons gently cheering him on.

Flicking those prodigious ears, the fennec lass gazed upward for a moment, catching a few voices above. Nothing specific, but enough to tell there were others. Humans? Perhaps... Wouldn't that be lucky? Hah, when had luck ever graced this bleak city though? She cracked a faint grin, glancing back for a moment. "Heh..." Well, there was that much that was lucky... She shook her head, slowly stepping forward, hefting the nozzle from the side of her pack up, pointing ahead of her as she paced onward. Keeping an eye upward towards the source of those voices, she simply let a sad grin cross her maw. After all... could perhaps...

No. Nope. Nah. Nuh uh. No such luck there, the lass flinching as she set up just behind Otto. A slow holstering of her weapon, the lass gazing at the couple of ferals about He-..... Otto. She let her teeth be bared, looking up towards the lot, moving up towards the back of those... ferals. "Lads... Please don't do this. There's more of us... and I can promise... please." That nozzle kept just tucked under her arm, ready if they only need, standing at the ready. Would have to apologize to him after... but subduing them would work, if they mad a move towards her.

Not one to pass up the chance to cute possible enemies into friendship Khaybat joins with Arris though instead of rubbing up against the feral she tries to hang onto them from behind and apply a boobhatting in that manner. Cervines are good at doing the sexyadorable thing after all. It's part of their nature!

The Dragoness giggles at Arris' tantalizing moves. Shi can defintly see that the Dragoness was affected. "It is always happy when people want to make their acquaintance with me..." she says "But...what does that mean for tomorrow or later on. I can't just let you leave this place. She says before looking at the Skunk Beast. "Give them the gas" she says as the Beast steps forward. Mokou seeing this, fires off a grout of flame striking Otto, the Fox Boys the Skunk Beast and the Dragoness. One of the two Fox boys Yipe as they are struck and falls to the ground with a thud, the other seems to keep themselves together, though they seem to be waivering. The Skunk Beast shakes it off and fires a powerful blast of stink and gas covers over the group.

The Gas seethes and buffets the ground and stings their nostiles, but most are able to withstand it, the Jackel doing it very well. As this is happening the now singed Fox Boy growls and leaps onto Mokou sinking his teeth into the Fennec's shoulder, leaving a bleeding wound.

Ebreus pauses for a splitsecond as Otto, and then the rest of his allies, charge past him. He starts to charge as they get up the staircase after them, smiling as from what he hears Otto managed a bloodless takedown but his expression turning to anger as he hears the conflict continue. As he reaches the top of the stairs in the dispersion of the blast he takes stock of the situation before saying, "Wrong move. Surender or face greater pain." as he levels his rifle at the dragoness.

He pulls the trigger and for a moment light eminates from the rifle as if the Sun had relocated to the muzzle for just a moment before the beem of searing heat cuts acrost the open air between them and burns into the chest of the dragoness.

Talk about he who smelled it indeed... that was repulsive! Otto covers his nostrils and waves a paw comically, his initial reaction being to make a snarky or sarcastic remark, but just as he opens his maw to relieve the tension, his eyes go wide once one of those Vulpines attacks Mokou and rips into her shoulder. Before he even understood what he was doing, the jackal had his chainsaw in hand, and a quite frankly frightening look of sheer outrage on his face, fangs and all. "BIG TROUBLE!!!" he snarls as the device comes to life in a gush of fire out the exhaust, the chain spinning up loudly to the point of glowing and even igniting~

He swings the blade, slicing into the vulpine's chest and arm, the heavily modified tool cutting in deep and throwing a great deal of blood around, splattering Otto and everything around him in a spray of crimson, the loud whir of the saw is joined by the vulpine's shrieks in agony as the blade sinks into its flesh, carving through the fur and flesh like a hot knife through butter, The jackal follows up with a swing of his leg to smack the mutant away before it has a chance to do any more harm to either of them. Its body falls limp once it collides with the ground, the shock from the pain having likely knocked it out. Painted red from the assault, he glances around the other mutants and res up his weapon again. "ANYONE ELSE?!" he snarls viciously.

While hir attempt at trying to 'convince' the dragoness fails at first, Arris notices that she was at least affected, and perhaps, interested. Covering hir nose as the cloud hit hir, sie would take a risk and get perhaps more aggressive with hir seduction. The gator is about to make hir move... when the solar rifle pierces the air and lands square in the dragoness' chest. So much for a non-lethal approach: sie knew what kind of damage that solar rifle could do. Sie doesn't even want to turn around at the sound of the chainsaw buzzing and subsequently tearing through flesh, the gator deciding on hir next move to approach the dragoness - close enough to get a better look at the solar shot, but far enough to stay out of reach of any physical blows she might try.

Eri peeks around the door frame into the mess and massacre on the other side, eyes stretched widely and planting her hands over her mouth as if to shut out some of the horror she was expressing. But otherwise the salamanderess merely remains entirely out of the fight, given she was completely powerless until someone she cares about gets hurt. And without rocks to throw she but merely secludes herself away from it all. And not wishing to see it all she leans up against the door frame completely and stares down the steps that brought her this far. It never really strikes one the importance of cleanliness, sanctity, and the importance of smelling... well, until one grows a snout that is. Potent sniffer and all, wonderful for picking up some details. Unfortunately, quite terrible in a blooming blast of skunk scent. Mokou wrenched her maw to the side, trying to shake that dizzying aroma away before... Teeth. Sharp as needles and longer than natural dug into her shoulder, piercing what little armor covered her. Moving back for a moment, she tried to... Breath in the red mist. Teeth that had been a worry were lost to her. Just blink. Breath. Close her mouth. Swallow. Move on.

The fennec let the ragged remains shlump down, the lass as much moving towards that shrinking skunk as moving infront of Otto. A hand raised behind her, another before and keeping her nozzle trained upon that beast if they begin to assault... beginning to attack. But her eyes... they turned back, trying to smile. Trying to ignore the red on her teeth, the gristle upon her cheek and teeth left in her shoulder. Just trying to... placate. To ease.

Khaybat goes to dive behind the nearest piece of furniture when things go south. She's not much of a fighter after all!

Having seen what Otto had done to the Fox Boy, the Skunk Beast turns almost as white as his stripes. Stumbling back, he quickly turns and starts to run away. "WAIT!" goes the Dragoness, but she finds that he call falls on frightened ears. Annoyed and angry, she growls "NO! I WILL NOT SURRENDER THIS PLACE. YOU SHALL BE MINE!" she roars before she unleashes a powerful torrent of flame unto those that still stand before her, Arris taking the brunt of it.

Ebreus watches the dragoness get up after being hit by his rifle. He almost laughs out loud as she tries to burn him and only walks forward, not physically responding to the fire at all, as she makes her attempt. As he emerges from the fire he activates his Emotional Aura Nanomagic to induce a certain sense of dread as she hears him speak, "You pathetic little creature." He continues toward her for half a moment before continuing, "You cannot harm me but I can most definitly hurt you. Now why don't you save me the ammo and surrender... I'd hate to see what the next shot would do to your face."

Otto feels the lass' paw on himself, her presence soothing by itself, but her touch inducing a sense of... unease. He'd gone a bit too far, hadn't he? "Fuck..." the jackal mumbles under his breath. Before he could even turn towards her to say something, the dragon's words catch his ears, and the jackal is left with but a moment to raise his shield and crouch down before his fennec, the sudden rush of heat doing little to phase the canine, but at the very least he manages to divert some of the inferno from her, keeping her from catching on fire. The bleeding was bad enough.

The jackal huffs and growls, caring not for that emotional bullhickery. He blinks and looks around, more interested in seeing who needed help after that infernal blast. "I NEED A MEDIC OVER HERE!" he yells out, hoping someone had the medical know-how to treat Mokou's bleeding bite wound, and the others in case there were any other injured in the group. Otto was no medic, nor would he ever be... he was long past the time of acquiring new skills at that point.

"Augh!" Arris recoils in the gout of fire, managing to stumble out of it and escape. "You guys take care of... I mean, disarm her!" Managing to get a safe distance away from the dragon, sie would chug hir own milk to heal hirself, before drawing hir attention to the fox boy lying in a puddle of his own blood. Drawing hir pistol, sie began firing globs of liquid bandages onto his - if that didn't work, sie would activate hir medical nanomagic, reviving the fox back to life, though not before sie tied him up.

Eri just shields her face from the wave of heat and that smells from inside the room, her long slick tail coiled about her leg nearest the doorway she was hiding behind. But the call for help doesn't go unanswered. Though in much a different way then imagined otherwise she merely steps through the opening into the room proper and throws a hand forward as though casting a spell. Though no flashing lights or glows proceed her, the pain everyone has thus far endured simply vanishes as if a pain med has come along to cure that problem and instead all the pain and misery, the bite wound the flames and gas burning the noses of all her friends simply boils over in to the dragoness as if the salamanderess took control of the nanites in her body but for a moment to create such pain.

That smile was flash-burnt there as the dragon lass billowed flames from their maw, a veritable deluge of fire that crested upon her back, boiling and scalding against her. Pain, but a familiar one. The scent of burning blood though, that was something she... didn't want to get used to. Hoisting herself up, she turned back, bristling as the horid scent of burning hair, skunk blast, and blistering flesh suffuced the air. Her skin cracked and creaked as she hurtled herself back, escaping the brunt of the flames before... before... it faded away. Pulled from her like a sponge. A shiver... the lass trying to skitter back, out of the apparent blastrange... Down the stairs, away... off for now. The carbon-crisp upon her cheek and shoulder, the burnt fur... ignored for now. Just... Not there.

Deliriously looking down a barrel of a gun, the Dragoness lets out a scream as she is suddenly flodded with pain. Collaping to the ground she timidly lays there and whimpers. "O...oook...I surrender" she says and lets the group tie her up.

Gathering together and mending their wounds, the group revives the knock out ferals and binds them, before working their way out to the main entrance and radioing Zephyr. Soon enough, they are welcomed by a Squad from the HQ who begins the task of patrolling and inspecting the Plant. As the work begins the group is offered a ride back to town, and with acceptance, they are all returned to the HQ.

Returning to the third floor, the group is debriefed by Milo, who thanks them for their help in completing this mission and he hopes that their hard work pays dividens for the city in the future. With the debrief done, the group is let go their seperate ways, a job well done.
