The Mycobeast's body is covered in white flesh with a spongy and springy feel to it. Along their back and the top of their head the hide is tougher, taking on a darker brown color speckled with black. Their head is ovoid in shape with a short rounded snout. Their eyes are set deep on either side of their head, one of the few indentations on their smooth cranium. Their mouth is hard to see until it opens, revealing a tube like appendage that passes for a tongue. Their body is broad and stoop-shouldered, their head held low and level with their shoulders. One has a strong, broad chest and their abdominals are a mass of lacy black gills, occasionally giving off a small puff of sweet-smelling spores. Their arms are long and burly, hanging down at their sides with their huge, broad hands almost reaching the floor. Each hand only bears two thick, blunt fingers and a thumb. Their legs are short and squat, but thick enough to give the appearance of strength behind the stunted limbs. One stands bow-legged, their knees always slightly bent keeping them lower to the ground. Their broad feet each bear two thick, splayed digits. Their backside draws down to a short, stubby protrusion barely worth being called a tail. | ||||||
