Description	The Hardened Alloy Retrofitted Edge is the latest in what many would call the lovechild of several RSX gun nuts. This implement was pulled together from the concept ideas of multiple aspiring weapons designers, and refined to deliver a new mixed-tactic hybrid weapon. Essentially a take on the antiquated madman's weapon of choice, the pistol-sword, this weapon was given new life thanks to advances in post-apocalytic technology. At a glance it resembles little more than a short-barreled rifle with a bayonet that extends all the way down to the trigger, however those more astute may note the subtle yet crucial design alterations made to its loading and discharge mechanisms. RSX nonetheless warns aspiring users that the device had always been intended as a melee weapon, and is in no way a substitution for an actual firearm, and at long range it would have impact equivalent of a hamster sigh.
