In truth, relatively little has been done to alter the scene outside the Zephyr headquarters. Same sturdy walls, same security cameras, same employees manning the same armaments. The key difference is that a podium and a small stage have been set up, slightly elevated from street level. Facing an open area where people are obviously intended to gather, it's a simple enough affair, easily assembled and easily disassembled.

Aaron makes her way up onto the stage, looking around to see who decides to join the project. There does seem to have been some attention raised by the notices she's been putting up, but attention is different from action, and she remains quite curious as to who will actually make an appearance.

Nisha is standing, leaning against the wall just next to the doors into the Zephyr building, her arms crossed over her chest, waiting for things to kick off. When the panther taur sees Aaron moving up to the podium, she stands up straight and takes a few steps closer, to listen to what the plan is for the day.

Astara stands, waiting for the presentation to actually start, idly plaing with one of the flowers in her hair. Curiousity and anticipation is visible on her face.

Coyotes are known for their curiosity, in addition to their love of mischief and fun. Redd's certainly no exception, watching as he leans against one of the barrier walls. "Could go well, could go poorly, I'm curious how it'll end up."

Thelergramor just happens to be around, scarf pulled up over his face, all armed and guard-y. Despite losing the guard job a while ago... The Fox yawns, checks over his weapons, watches the other people around. The goggled, scarfed Thelfox peers at the podium, stands quietly a bit of distance away from it, just listening to things that're going to be said. Or not said.

Fenris saunters up in front of the stage. The burly tanuki is wearing the upper half of a police man's uniform and a badge marched "SGT CHUBBS" and a heavy gun belt. There is no gun on it. Instead there is an ornate sword hung from his waist and a long spear strapped to his back. He has even acquired a police hat from somewhere. The burly tanuki folds his arms across his chest and tilts his head to one side, willing to hear what's going on. His fat tail wags slowly behind him.

Phosphorus is leaning on her rifle closer to the Zephyr building, the butt of the weapon planted firmly against the ground. The panda's frowning slightly at the stage. Then again, she's always pretty much frowning. They peer at the crowd of gathered mutants, and the ones entering, and peer at the stage, and generally peer at anything worth peering at. Because waiting is terrible, unless you're waiting for a very good reason.

Edel was a curious sort, the tanuki, albeit a tanuki in the form of a feline today, was sure to be present. She's content to watch from the back today, the sleeves of her regal black and gold robe linked and concealing her hands, while a straw hat sits lazily upon her head. The brown furred cat turns away as her muzzle parts in a wide yawn for a moment before turning her attention back towards the stage.

Cameron padded in from the street, her hand settling her bulging pack on her shoulder. She glanced around at the crowd that was gathering at the space provided, wondering if there was any familiar faces about. Her mind ticking of things on her checklist to bring along for taking back some city blocks, hopefully no one would need to get patched up. She then checked the copy of the notice she had taken to make sure she had the right time. Spying Redd nearby she gives the coyote a small wave and another to Thelegramor as well. Seeing the chilly fox all armoured up she wandered over to him. "Hello Thelergramor...." Pondering a moment on whether she said his name correctly or not. She then smiled up at him and settled beside him to watch the crowd.

Razz Walks out of Zpehyr and just blinks "Well.. By Inari.. That's a crowd.." he mumbles, adjusting his claymore on his back as he looks about, confused. "Huh.. so....It a Party and I wasnt invited.. or.. something else?" he asks no-one in particluar. The wolf finally shrugs and Moves to lean against a Wall, ears Flciking about.

Ferus sniffs the a little nervous as the taur pads out of the lobby. A little nervous at such a large crowd of unfamiliar sights and scent, but a few familiar scents calm hir nerves. Picking a few familiar faces out of the crowd, Ferus calms her self. Pulling hir self up straight the amber and black rosettes furred feline takes a seat on her hunches at the back of the crowd. The margay taur angling hir ears forward to see what the fliers were about and to listen unblinking and intently before events call her away.

Forkbomb was enjoying a nice highly caffinated, previously barely legal energy supplement while enjoying a nice issue of the evening paper. And by evening paper, I mean the poster that he just found kinda lying around. He thought that the wording there was a bit vague, and could be easily construed as... Well. Culty. Or like a huge, /huge/ trap. Luckily, Forkbomb is nothing if not a shifty sort, so if he is walking into a trap, he's determined be the last person shot at. So, he sat at the lobby doorway for a bit before ditching his little bottle of human nitro, walks into the crowd, tugs on the hood of his windbreaker to obscure his features, and tries to blend into the scene and not bring too much attention to himself. Except for Naiko, Angus, and Razz. He gives them a quiet little wave. No point in bringing the thunder until the kool-aid or the feral hordes came out.

A thump sounds from an alley followed soon by a shadow in the dark. Coming around the corner with a clipped stride, Love steps up to the crowd. Massive wings curve and shift comfortably around her shoulders, the taloned tips gripping one another to hold in her heat. Swaying her hips as she stops with a nod and smile for so many familiar faces, the sultry Dragonesses ears swivel here and there while she double checks her kit and waits for news. Occasionally a strange sound catches her interest and has her peer into the dusk-lit street, keen eyes on the lookout for opportunity and trouble.

Zophah barely reaches the back of the crowd before Aaron started speaking, glad that she made it in time. She brushes off her fuzzy gray fur and straitens her flame-patterned bikini, catching her breath. She looks around to find only one other fox other than her in the crowd, buttoning up her lab coat. She takes one sniff at the air to see if she identifies anyone before pulling a cam bow from her back, ready to hear about clearing the streets.

From the Zephyr lobby exits Joseff, a latex fox approaching the crowd of other people. He had a flat and serious expression by his face and body language, displaying his discipline. He wears a second-hand jump suit for modesty and carries a standard-issue chainsword for defense. His eyes glance about, searching to find the sight or smell of his missing squadmate. Not finding them, he focuses to the front of the congragation for whatever announcement was being made. There was something about clearing the area of ferals being held.

Aaron looks around, smiling broadly at the sight of so many faces - some she knows, and some she has yet to know. And yet, there's work to do, so she clears her throat. "I want to thank all of you for coming today. This will hopefully represent the beginning of a new expansion for the good people of Fairhaven, allowing us to walk a larger portion of the city streets without having to worry about being attacked. If we are successful, we will also have a much larger portion of real-estate in which to operate, set up accommodations, and otherwise rebuild this city." Taking a moment to allow the implications to sink in, she continues, "It's been eight years since P-Day took so many loved ones from us, and Zephyr - while it's created a safe zone for itself and the people who go there - has made no real steps in expanding its influence. I understand that stabilizing has been a priority, but let's face it: after this long, they're pretty damned stable. Now it's time to start taking back our city! Are you with me?"

Nisha looks around over the gathered morphs, her ears twitching to the more prominent sounds some of them make as she steps closer to the podium to get a better spot for herself to hear when the speaking starts. A few of the people gathered around her she recognizes, some are merely vaguely familiar, and still more she's sure she's never seen before. As the assembled agents gather round and the air of excitement begins to pick up, the panther taur does a last minute check of her armor and weapons, then starts to do some simple stretches to limber herself up for whatever is coming next, her ears perked towards the podium all the while. She looks up when Aaron begins to speak and listens attentatively, then offers an energetic cheer when Aaron's speech comes to its climax.

Sensuen looks no worse for wear at the travel it took her to get here as she wonders what this place has been set up to do. From the crowd Sen can see a woman up on stage looking around at the assembly of people which she's recently joined in on. Sen wonders what this is all about, as the posters promised they'd 'take back the streets, but before any action must come a plan, as always. Sen looks to the crowd of gathered people and notices what they do, she even knows some of them from past encounters or professional relationships. Some are even friends of hers. At the idea Phosphorus gives Sen is glad she has a rifle on her slung on her back to provide a means of defense for her if there's any longer ranged trouble that needs taking care of quickly. Sen hears the woman on the podium talk about why they're all assembled today. She finds vague words, but some sense of purpose in them. She did try to be prepared for as much as she could be with a duffle bag containing all she doesn't have worn at the moment.

Astara has a conflicted look on her face in response to Aaron's speech, but still makes a confirming nod to show her support. She then begins surveying around to see others' reactions - and to see who else is here she might now. No one yet, but some did say they were interested in attending, so she waits and sees...

"As much as anyone. I have my doubts, admittedly." Redd isn't too visibly enthused, but he raises a hand. "What're we expecting to go against?" He rubs his muzzle, talking to nobody in particular, and hardly in the midst of the crowd.

Thelergramor rubs the back of his neck while listening to things... greets those he knows with a nod in their general direction, though he answers Cameron as she gets all up near him. "Hello. Lotta people today." The fox shrugs, strokes the barrel of his Auto-Hammer, listenfoxes.

This means violence! Win. "Heh." The Fox is otherwise quiet, though. Shifts the autohammer to his back, gets a hand on his flamethrower. For burning out feral nests. Smartfox.

Fenris stands still, his striped tail swaying gently behind him. "What do you mean?" the tanuki calls, "Space for who? For the Z? And what about people already living out here? What kind of mob justice are you planning out here?" His burly arms stay folded and he looks mildly disaproving, but he hasn't left yet.

Ferus beams a smile at Aaron talking about the date and giving it a 'we've been idle' too long spin. Shi hasn't even been alive eight years! The perspective was - Fersus loses the moment as hir comm vibrates at her. A blinking a pink twenty sided die taking up it's display. The world as she knew it wasn't that small, but what would she know about what was? Music was treasure beyond compare to her and she'd heard maybe five whole songs in her whole life. Not even that otter artiest, with his gems, really measured up. It doesn't due for the game master to be late to hir own game though. Taking one more breath deep to inhale the moment, The margay taur stands and turns hir turns around to head back in side. It wouldn't due to be late or unprepared at all. It was a interesting project, and well worth coming back to help with. semi ood luckstar Ferus whispers as she disappears back into the lobby.

"Right, then." Phosphorus notes, shifting her weight off of her weapon and onto both of her feet, picking up the rifle and cradling it in her arms. Naturally, more territory being rendered so-called 'Feral-Free' is pretty good for all of the still-sentient ones, for the time being. Easier than trying to round all of them up and rehabilitate them, at least.

"I was trying to do that for years," Edel mumbles to herself, tipping back the brim of her hat. "But who knows, maybe there will be progress this time." She steps forward and folds her hands in front of her before speaking up. "It's a great goal. Many have tried, and many have failed. But say we are successful this time, where will the ferals go that already take that space? They've got to go somewhere, after all."

Cameron looks up to the podium and nods in agreement with the eager little bunny. Her head then shaking at the very little effort to reclaim Fairhaven so fair, still at least they were going to try now at least. Smiling she looked around at the crowd and all the faces, curious to see how all the others would take it and who was going to help. She gives the battle ready fox a small nod. "Yes there is. Hopefully it will go well. Think I can stick with you if you are coming to help? You seem ready for everything." She then smiles as she turns her attention back to the bunny and the questions being thrown her way. She did not envy her at all.

Razz Huffs and frowns , while it was something he'd help in... too many People, too many to risk too many Targets.. The wolf just nods to people and walks on past. "Good luck." he says quietly, headding out into the stresses they were supposedly going to 'make safer'.

Forkbomb bites his lip. Wow, twenty seconds in and he already wants to be an asshole. That's a record. He braces himself to run. "Um. What's your plan good... Ma'am? I, uh. I am /not/ a fan of just going block to block beheading folks. Torches. Pitchforks. Farmer hats. Just saying, that way is probably not the way forward, it's kinda a step or two or ten back."

Love brushes her thumb across her belt and activates a small box, followed by a flurry of nanite activity in those around her which suffuses them with a feeling of wellness. Removing six digital camo-pattern sleeves to cover her golden horns, she settles in to clipping the blunting tips on the serated edges. As Aaron starts to speak, she stands at attention with a quick nod and cheer for the thought, her brow furrowed with a quick line of worry. Her preparadness is obvious at a glance, and anyone who knows her might guess it's in concern for her fellows as much as for herself.

Opening her winged cloak reveals a kevlar vest, dotted with clips and supplies while open down the middle to bare her naked chest to the moon, wings rustling in excited anticipation. Waiting for the moment to ask a question, she joins the crowd in its fervor.

Zophah cheers as Aaron finishes the first part of her speech. She may disagree with Zephyr's methods taking control of the city, but with 13 children and more on the way, it will be a good deal safer for them. While she waits for the speech to continue she makes her way over to Sensuen, waving to get hir attention. "Hi Sen. You here too?" She then takes a look at Sensuen's bag. "Good idea. I would have brought more myself but I'm already weighed down," She says, patting her own leather mailbag.

Joseff stays quiet, mulling over the ethics of this mob-rush against the ferals here. Still, he may as well try to follow the hirde around to see how well they can stay organized. He revs his weapon to show his readiness and begins to wander with the mob.

Anyana was heading towards Zephyr, hands in her pockets. Decked out in a t-shirt and jeans, the native taur is presently a biped painted wolf. Which she was still adjusting to. Her triangular ears flick as she hears a familiar voice. Her brows furrow as she notes the gathered crowd. She stops in her tracks, noting a good chunk of her friends and acquaintances... And judging from the scent, her dad was around here somewhere, too. Her eyes are drawn up to the primary focus - her head tilting. "Aaron?" she asks, having not seen her lapine mate in ages. "Of course I'm with you, darling," she says with a wry smile and a wink, raising her hand if the long-eared one can't hear her. Of course... Whatever she was getting into, she was new on the scene - and thus knew little of what was going on. How typical.

Brahms crosses his arms and listens to Aaron, then the people who apparently had doubts. He yawns a bit. He didn't even have to check his stuff, he was always ready anyway. What he did have, was that hunger. But that would hopefully change. On the other hand he was wondering just what exactly did Aaron meant or what exactly she was talking about? To whom exactly they were taking the city for? And from what? Ferals? It's not like they were a viable threat to him anymore. He could fight hundreds of them in his sleep. But curiosity had him. And he was wanting to find out what exactly was the plan. He moves through the crowds to get closer to his mate and slides an arm around her. But he doesn't talk yet.

Aaron can hear the various objections raised, but rather than being put off or upset, she seems...satisfied? "You have doubts, and that's good. I assure you, anyone who's here to hunt ferals down, this is not the right mission for you. Combat will be what happens if things go /wrong/." Taking a moment to draw in a deep breath, she continues. draws in a deep breath. "Before we get started, I want to explain our mission. Our goal is NOT to set up the barricades and armaments ourselves, nor is it to pick fights with the local ferals. This is a fact-finding mission. The intent here is to investigate the surrounding area, scope out the damage and make sure that the part we're hoping to reclaim is feral-free, and compile information. I'm not exactly Zephyr's biggest fan, but the fact is that we're going to need their resources to set up the defensive perimeter we need to make this project a success." Continuing onward, the rabbit doe smiles. "The good news is that I've been working closely with the local ferals for years, and most - MOST - of them have agreed to cede this land to us without a fight."

Nisha's ears droop and she immediately quiets down after her cheering is met by so much silence from the other mutants around. She furrows her brow and crosses her arms again as she listens to the assorted words from the rest of the crowd. Not one to be needlessly argumentative, the panther taur holds her tongue for now, in the hopes that some more assurances from Aaron will draw more enthusiasm from the rest of the crowd. As vague as some may think its objective, Nisha sees merit in it, and plans to assist in any way she can. As Aaron responds to the grumbling amongst the crowd, Nisha smiles again and nods as she looks out over the small sea of various morphs assembled around the podium.

Sensuen just tries to keep calm, but does voice her concerns, siding with Fenris as she asks, "So, could we give the homeless out there homes? I mean the civil ones, the ones that are at least willing to reason, maybe even ferals that have some hope of getting their lives back, in whatever capacity that means now. I'm all for housing projects, but not if it earns us the resentment of otherwise useful people, people with skills and knowledge, who knows if it's from before p-day or not, it's worth a shot though." seems as though somebody else might take offense to that sentiment. Sen might be willing to work out a solution with them though, however many people that turns out to be though it doesn't seem to be that many as people voice their opinion not to be an angry mob armed with torches and pitchforks for once. Sen just takes a deep breath as she prepares to deal with the people who don't like her position on this topic. Sen looks to Zophah and says, "Hi there, yeah I brought some general stuff. And you can expand that mail bag if you want, I've got a kid who can help, but later ok?" before she ends up covering her ears with her tentacles at the sound of revving chainswords. Sen hears Anyana a bit later voicing her opinion, and catches sight of the paintings of a painted wolf form, Sen still has hope that she'll come around, maybe the painted wolfess has empathy after all, maybe she's naive. The sea angel still gives her time to see more of the situation than she might be aware of as of yet before she jumps to conclusions before they both know what exactly will be going on. Sen listens to Aaron's words and says, "Oh, sorry for directing at you what I said earlier then, it's a good plan and I agree with it." trying to make up for what she said earlier, but still, she does hope she's changed some minds in the audience, even a little bit.

Astara smiles a bit when she sees Brahms show up, and walks through the crowd over to him and taps him on the shoulder and gives him a light wave. She then refocuses her attention on Aaron, her posture more relaxed now that she's more reassured in what the project leader is saying. She speaks up now, perhaps not loud enough to be heard by Aaron, but at least /someone/ will hear it: "How will the land be used and distributed? It's hard to get on board if it's just going to go directly into Zephyr control; and if it isn't, will the individuals or organizations that inhabit them have a good degree of independence from Zephyr itself? I /really/ don't want Fairhaven to just because Zephyr's company town..." she says, sighing.

"That's not exactly my concern. You all realize, ferals aren't the only ones who hold territory out here." Redd points upwards, "There's more than a few non-human entities at play here. Some of em staked territory out even. They don't give a fuck about us, really." The coyote shrugs. "I suppose a couple blocks is a good start, though."

Thelergramor shrugs to Cameron. "Yeah, if you want to, sure." The fox then looks at the others. "Morality's overrated. They're ferals, they walk around fucking raping people, so forgive me if I've got no remorse for anything I have to do to them." Thel smirks, little bit of an outburst there. "But, fine, combat's the last thing you want. Would be better to just go remove them, but fine." Thel gestures vaguely, yawns again, resettles his hands on his fire tosser.

Clearly prefers the angry mob with torches route.

Fenris seems to open up a bit at this latest revelation. He unfolds his arms and rests his fists on his ample hips. "I don't like putting more power in Zephyr's hands," he says, "But I don't mind using their resources. Especially if we're not taking people's homes." He shoots a frown over at Thel and his sentiments, "What is it you want us to do?" he asks Aaron.

Edel stretches out and nods. "Well. I can't say I've seen too many places where the ferals don't roam, here in the city. But if you've convinced some of them to give up land then so be it. Just tell me what you'd have us do," she says simply brushing her bangs back and tucking them under her hat.

Cameron thought a moment and figured the rabbit's plan might work. Though she figured there was always the possibility of some other group of ferals seeing the chance to move on in instead of them. She then looks into the crowd with a small frown at so many people more eager to bash in some heads then to secure a new safe zone for people and agents alike. Her eyes looked at the various people gathered, wondering who would stay now that it was not a kill mission and who would leave to go else. She smiles at Thel and nods, glad to have a meat shiel... I mean guardian should anything go wrong. She then frowns as he continues and fumes a little. "Or worse... But they might be the next us in a day or a weeks time." She then shook her head some, especially given that they practically need to be turned to ash to prevent a feral from getting back up at a later date. She then looked up and Thel a moment. "Glad to have you around any way if things go south."

Vaeri silently wraps her tail around Brahms waist and pulls him closer, leaning on him gently and glancing up at him for a moment and saying to him "I bet you were hoping there'd be a fight huh?" before turning her attention back to Aaron and waiting to see what happens next.

Forkbomb leans back a bit, looking as if a bunch of his objections melted away. He wasn't gonna cheer, because as aforementioned, he's an asshole, but he does so far have a silent stance of approval going on. He's cool with Big Z going for a land grab. "Dude, Big Z can't manage space for shit. They've been out here for eight years and have managed to fully control /one/ building. Their whole input to this is probably going to begin with the cheapest equipment freecred can buy and end with putting up a couple of billboards for cock-expanding pills once agents do the actual work." Shit, he probably said that a bit too loud. He looked over his shoulders, feeling a touch of the old paranoia.

Zophah shakes her head at Sensuen. "No need. I can always change it myself with nanomagic." She then turns her attention back to Aaron's speech, getting a bit calmer now that 'cleaning the streets' doesn't mean '...with blood.' So she thinks alloud: "I may not need by bow after all. And maybe I can get some of my illusions working too."

Loveblade listens to the babble around her, everyone shouting their piece and few talking amongst themselves in a bid to be heard. Keeping calm, Love stays alert. This much noise, if any Ferals were out there listening, they might take offense at the topic. So much noise...too much for them to not have alerted anyone nearby. Frowning at the thought, creating resistance before approaching someone was a sure-fire way to provoke a fight, and she'd like to see this done with a minimum of fuss.

Considering what to say, she takes a deep breath before loud enough to be heard "Aaron, I'm glad you're spear-heading this project. Did you have a plan of action in mind?" her purr rumbles at the last, lifting her chin with a little chirrup of greeting for her lapine companion.

*speaking just loud enough

Joseff glances around. Hearing that the street sweep didn't have to be messy gave him a little more confidence in this mob. As much as he felt like speaking, the questions he would've asked have been asked already by others. He waited to hear what plan this agent had for the expansion.

Anyana moves in closer into the group, hoping that Aaron would spot her. As a rule, if one of her mates was utterly gung-ho about something, as Aaron obviously was, she was behind it too. Now if only she could get up on the stage and talk to her... To see just what was going on. Something about Zephyr getting more control...?

Brahms smiles at Astara. He then focuses on what the other morphs had to say, including Astara's own doubts. "Clearly I would also have gone with the route that gives me more fo- focus on the matter." He quickly ammends "But..." His eyes focus on Aaron "If we are going to do it the easy way, I have no qualms about it either." He yawns a bit again as he keeps an arm around Vaeri's waist. "Fighting is more interesting, baby." He answers to his mate before he grows quiet again.

Foxheart wanders past the lobby. She does notice the commotion, the kitsune hybrid resting her hands on the hilt of her twin blades. "Fighting offers no long term solution to ferals. Clean the streets on a regular basis." The kitsune does wander closer to listen to the speaker, spotting a few friends in the way.

Jaro works hir way through the crowd to sidle up next to Nisha. "Hey, sorry I'm late. What's going on? I caught something about not fighting and ferals moving?" shi asks the big 'taur. "Though it sounds like someone's opinion of the bureaucrats is right up there with mine," shi mutters, flicking the tip of hir tail in the direction of Forkbomb's voice.

Parthenia walks out looking like she've got a wrong memo. Armed and armored to the teeth the mutant hating human has joined the gathering that didn't look all that hostile at all! Smooth skinned population was kept to minimum too, but the subject was sensetive! Perhaps there will be blood. The words will be said the things will be done and at best a few hairy bastards will die in the ordeal. Staying in the back lines, she pulled out a pack of cigaretes, pulled out one of them cancer sticks and got it going. Fork there had a good point going about Zephyr being good for shit. She was going to add a thought or two of her own but... Her uniform kinda had Zephyr logos all over it so... Gotta have at least a bit of a brand pride, huh? And they did pay her enough...
