The best way to get more style than a Tanuki.

Location

You can follow Inari and become a Kitsune yourself for 30 Mako in the shrine to Inari in the Southeast corner of Fairhaven.

Powers

Kitsune (dedication)

Arms: Mirage
Tail: Marsh Wisp, Tail Wrap
Head: Hypnosis
Legs: Feline Agility
Skin: Furry Hide
Torso: Vitality

Kitsune can summon a Forest Wisp as well as use their nine tails in a Tail Fury against their enemies.

Additionally, Kitsune have a couple of special alterations they can do to themselves through a couple of settings. First is @set me=kitsune/fur:<value>

  • <blank>: White fur (default)
  • Yellow: Golden fur
  • Red: Red fur
  • Black: Black fur

Using this on children is possible as well:

@set me=local stat child/kitsune/fur:<value>

@set me=local stat child/<child name>0/kitsune/fur:<value>

A Kitsune can have a Magatama in order to summon a Companion Wisp while not dedicated.

Thematic Information

The sacred messenger foxes of Inari. What are they doing here in America? Some say they came because the Tanuki were already here. Jealous? They claim not. They have a great many tails that are said tobe a sign of their power, but can be hidden at will. They can summon forest wisps, and strike with their many tails.
