| Description | Building off of, and requiring, Interfacing Nanomagic, Advanced integration gives you More Control (C)(TM) over what your NICE unit does. By allowing you to forgo the usage of nanomagic entirely, you can use the NICE to compile code, or render video, provided that you have the prerequisite programs. By default, it comes with simple video-rendering software and a C-compiler. It does, unfortunately, not allow you to actually run the code you compile on the NICE itself. The process of compiling or rendering is a slow one, as the NICE only has computing power equivalent to that of a mid-level smartphone. If you are sleeping, the NICE can co-opt a small amount of brainpower to triple its efficiency, although this will result in sleep being less restful. Alternatively, by spending a hero-point, you can unload a compiling-task to the server you are currently in, although the process will fail if you transfer between servers before the task is complete. By unloading, you can increase the processing-power to that of a mid-range PC. This nanomagic is considered active in all use-cases, including offloading compiling-tasks to the local server. Additionally, you do not need a bubble to use the local functionality. Without server-assistance, you'll be spending a full day to render a 30 minute video. With brainpower, you can complete this task in a single, 8 hour sleep-cycle, and with server-assistance, you will be able to complete the task in 3 hours. Keep in mind that the basic video-rendering program included does not allow for you to pause this process. | ||
