As for strange abilities, well, most huskies seem to just want to, well, 'love' on you, she seems more... I'm not sure how to put this, like she was made special. The other Huskies seem to flock to her when she is near. Caution is recommended near her, and those of her pack. She herself seems to be extraordinarily infectious. Violence is not requested, nor do we feel required. In fact, seeing the unusual properties of your target, we discourage it greatly.<br> <br>Edel's ears perked, and she suddenly seems even more interested. "She's not one of the huskies that tries to... Jump on everything? Really? I definitely want to meet her, now, and I echo the desire for lack of violence. If you pick a fight with them, you're on your own."<br> <br>Katalynia nods in agreement with dio. "Violence is over-rated anyways." Shi eyes over the image hir tail swishing with curiosity. "If we get attacked, that's one thing. But I definitely have no interest in fighting for the sake of fighting.""<br> <br>Aliasi huhs. "That much, huh? Like Superhusky? Hell, I'm not sure if I want to try to bring her in, or ask her on a date!" She grins. "Huh. Wonder if it's part of her infection or something else. I could live with that, even if I had to look like a dog. I'd still be cosmic inside. Where it counts."<br> <br>Aliasi also, by the by, allows Alastor on in.<br> <br>"Yes, violence not requested," Dio confirms, looking over his shoulder at Cookies. "Only in self-defense shall we fire our weapons. Isn't that right, my lovely little feline?" A stern tone, but still sweet and velvety in his typical style. "I took a few fixatives to hopefully stave off any infectious changes. I'll treat this like a diplomatic mission." With a heavy bow, the lion once more attempts to smooth out his creased and drenched suit before looking at the exit. "If you all are ready, I'm about to head off towards our destination."<br> <br>Arano suddenly has a mental image of a husky picking up a giant space lady, and then heaving her onto a hapless group of mercenaries resulting a group of very, very, flat soldiers-of-fortune. Snapping out of the reverie, he shrugs and says, "So stealth then... is this group not as typically violent as most 'ferals' are? I mean, aren't ferals generally those who have given in to their primal desires to dominate others either sexually or through violence?"<br> <br>Selina arrives from Zephyr and steps into the doorway of the taskmaster's quarters.  With the door opened up a bit, she leans in slightly, knocking.  "Excuse me, I understand that there was a call for assistance?  My name is Selina, I'm here from Zephyr."<br> <br>Savi waits paitently, knowing that most of the group has covered everything she could think to ask based ont he limited information. With nothing more to add she does a once over of her gear, for the nineth time, and continues to wait.<br> <br>Cookies growls in a tone that can only be described as sarcastic at Dio and reaches back to give the nanite cannon strapped to her back a couple pats. It has the name 'CINDERELLA' engraved on the side this time abouts. "All I'm saying is that if worst comes to worst I'm prepared, but I'll behave." She climbs all the way up Dio's back until her legs are hanging over his shoulders, gently gripping his mane as though it were reigns or something like that. "You got any of those fixatives left? I can fix it with a quick shift but 'extremely infectious' are two words I never enjoy hearing used together. Also, shifting makes me feel like crap." She glances back towards Selina as she enters and offers a slight nod in greeting. "Hi welcome to the husky fuckland adventure party where we're going to go meet Queen Fucksalot herself because, um, because we can and we'll learn things, I guess. I'm mostly in it for the reward. Hey, there's a reward, right Dio?"<br> <br>Edel slinks out the door, opening her umbrella once more. "Nothing wrong with looking like a dog, Ali! I do all the time, practically! You get used to it." She rubs her chin with her free hand before letting it rest on the pommel of her sword. "Maybe I can befriend the husky. I'd love some tips for getting strength in a size like that."<br> <br>Alastor slips by the Cosm, leaning away from her as he passed only due to intimidation of her size. He shivered his scales to shake a little bit of the rain off and quickly glanced about the room while trying to keep track of conversation he had missed bits of. He notices the familiar faces of Edel, Arano, nodding to them as well as everyone else. His eyes catch on Dio though, looking him over with some shyness. Even soaking wet the silver lion was gorgeous. "He...hello all. I'm Alastor from Zephyr, got here as soon as I head the call." He said with his leftmost head as he let Edel pass.<br> <br>Shaking her head Nichole gives a bit more caution, "Oh, she will try and convert you, just not violently, be very very careful, but yes, she is strong, and she is in charge of that group." she looks to Selina, "Time is important so your fellow agents can fill you in. As for transport you are on your own, but don't do anything to upset their structure that could cause.. well.. I have a report from a lone surviver who didn't lose it and join them who did just that. But.. this Husky... I'm not sure how, but she can just, overwhelm everything we've seen.. I don't undertand it, and we need info. Any more questions?"<br> <br>Aliasi adds, overhearing Edel, "Hell, I'd like to have strength like that *in* this size. Hopefully we can keep it friendly."<br> <br>Selina nods as she looks to Cookies, "Could you fill me in on a bit of the details?"<br> <br>Arano eyes the catgirl's gun for a just a moment before glancing over and smiling politely at Alastor. He gets to his feet as the briefing is apparantly wrapping up. He wasn't going to SAY no more questions because somebody else might have them, but he could at least get ready to leave. As he moves towards the door he says to Alastor, "Missed most of it... I'll fill you in on the way," he says as he looks towards the heavy rain, "But short version: we've got a feral who I guess has a silver tongue... or maybe just very powerful pheremones... and we're being sent to gather information with explicit orders to not get violent. Guess I should have left the gun at home..."<br> <br>"Indeed I do ma'am. Kept a couple around in my suit just in case it was needed." Dio reaches into his suit pocket and pulls out two small pill bottles, easily recognizable as the two forms of fixatives commonly used by agents in these day and times. Opening each, he grabs a fixative out of both and places them in Cookies' hands. "Greetings, sir. Glad to have you here working with us." Dio gives Alastor a nod and begins heading for the exit. "I believe that's all we need to know. I'll be heading off towards the destination then." The lion waves and heads for the door, shrugging at Cookies, not sure if there's a reward at all besides A GOOD DAY OF HARD WORK.<br> <br>Selina nods, "So a form fixative will not be helpful, I take it?  And... We're just trying to find out why the infection is so powerful?  A couple of other questions... Has the husky been forcing it on folks?  And, is it only tenacious coming from her directly?  Or does that continue on through generations?

In the Taskmaster's hut Nichole is busy pouring over maps and information she managed to gather. The Fox Taur waits for the support she requested to arrive. In behind her is a projection from an old schoolhouse projector showing an image of a Female Husky. She pads around a bit, seeming to stuggle with nerves a bit before sitting down and just waiting. Outside, the rainstorm pours on, making her concider if this was a good time to try this or not.

With a light thump signally his arrival, a large solar dragon walks into the hut - he is a larger, imposing figure. The normal shine associated with his kind is largely absent - dulled and covered by camo-paint and mud. A large powerpack is on his back, hooked up to a rather large rifle modeled after a Mk14 EBR. He wears what appears to be an oversized army uniform, though lacking identifying markings. He examines the room and nods politely in greetings to the hut's only inhabitant in greetings before sitting himself down near the table, glancing between the projection of the female husky in front and the door in the back, waiting for whoever else will be joining him.

Still trying to enjoy her vacation, Savi was unable to just sit by after the radio call. Hitching a ride most of the way there, the little plant slowly moves into the room and takes up a spot in the back corner. With a polite but tiny nod to the two others Savi turns to face the projection. Trying to remain little and unnoticed she waits for the briefing, wondering idely who else will show up this time and if they can stop themselves from destroying everything.

Bah! A rainstorm and a suit wearing lion. Probably not the best choice of attire for the circumstances, but looking sharp is the key to success, along with another thousand things. With shotgun as his side, Dio enters the hut and desperetly attempts to remove any water that had drenched his cloth and dense mane. Of course, such actions were of little result beyond wasted energy and a few splattered drops of water splashing upon the floor. "Evening, ladies and gentlemen," he bows, now clearly revealing the catgirl hanging upon his back! Nodding to the others, the drenched lion takes a seat and crosses his legs, placing Cookies upon his lap so he can lean back a little. "So, a community of ferals is it?"

Katalynia looks around shivering against the rain, before entering. Why does it always have to rain? "Did I hear something about some help needed with ferals?"

Cookies waves slightly to the room as Dio bows down, looking about as drenched and terribly disgruntled at the covering of rainwater. Once placed in her lion's lap, she shuffles back against him 'til her back is pressed against his front. Peering around at the room, she lets out a slight 'hmph' as her tail curls 'round Dio's middle. "You mean like th..." She then bites her lip and peers at anything BUT Nicole. "Uhh... Th.. The... Not this place, no sir," she murmurs out oh-so-tactfully. Smooth.

Edel skitters through the rain, not carrying her hammer today, but an umbrella instead! Hammers aren't as effective at protecting from the rain, and she can't have her dress getting wet, now can she? "I'm here, I'm here! I'll take any chance to help ferals! ... Hopefully that's what we're doing, anyway."

The rain is still audible, but it seems to have stopped falling right outside. Then a big, nebula-irised eye is peering through the doorway. Someone went and told Aliasi... "Hey, I heard you all were planning something. Thought I might offer to be transportation-slash-big scary asshole that'll draw fire."

Alastor was not too far out and was able to walk, well slither, there with no problem. He came in not minding the rain in his current form. If anything he appreciated it even though it made his lab coat hang on him a little. He nearly stopped as he saw the Cosm in front of the hut, and he realized he had seen her once before outside the Zephyr complex. Well... he hoped that it was Aliasi. He barely crept forward and called out, "Ali - Aliasi was it? It'ss Alastor. Umm... may I get by?" The hydra asked politely with his midleft head while crouched slightly, ready to fly away if need be.

After the group as assembled, Nichole puts on her 'work' face and gets to explaining things, pointing to a map and waving to everyone, even those who can't quite fit inside. "Here, out in the north east corner of Fairhaven, we have found an unusual group of ferals, all Huskies, most female, but the most unsual part is this one." she says now pointing to the projector, "She is the strongest, most powerful example of a Female Husky we have ever seen. We have sent in a few teams to investigate her, but... well.. even our best either return huskies, don't come back, or come back with so little information as to be useless. We need more information on her, so, head out to where she and her pack have made their den, near Point Zero, and come back with something we can use. Any questions?"

Edel rubs her neck. "Huh, huskies? I should've come as a husky today, but I'm always willing to talk to them! I don't think I have any questions, though. I'm ready to go whenever the others are."

Savi listens to the info and wonders how this is going to go. Info, not blood is what they want, but what price will be paid to get it. Sliding up to Edel, a teamate she is comfortable around, Savi tries to shadow her friend planning to follow the group, planning on doing her best to help but deciding she wont kill anything unless there are no choices left at all.

Aliasi clears her throat. "So what is 'most powerful', here? Like, is this a Husky that can bench a Buick, or some such? Or some kind of strange abilities?"

Arano looks at the projector and thinks over what questions he might have. He smirks at Edel a bit, knowing how she usually looks when he sees her, and then remarks, "So... what ACTUALLY makes this one special? I mean, this sounds like a regular group of ferals with a prime leading them - or is that the part we don't know? Which then begs the question: why do we think this is anything BUT a group of female huskies with a prime version?"

Dio pets the feline within his lap with long, slow strokes, almost as if he were caring for a cute little kitten. Water still dripping off his soggy and jungle-like mane, he gives his head a little shake and waves to the new arrivals before listening intently to the briefing. "How interesting. I do hope that this particular husky isn't converting people into ferals with various methods." Dio gently begins to stand out of his seat, placing Cookies back down on the floor. "Very well my lady, I do believe this deserves investigation. We shall go at once. And hopefully without violence," he says, taking a moment to look at Cookies. "It could be a prime, or perhaps something more grand. If they had all the details, they wouldn't need to send us."

Cookies lets out a sad mewl as she's put down, then clambers her way around to climb up onto Dio's back again, letting out a soft sigh. "Okay so you sent in teams of your best and now you've sent out a random call for a ragtag bunch of jerks. I mean, I'm not going to argue with payment, nor the fact that we /rock hard/, but I'm just saying that you really need better solutions to these issues than 'hey let's throw minor variants of the same thing at it repeatedly until it works'." Her nose is all upturned in that snooty, condescending sort of way and everything. Sheesh.

Aliasi chuckles, "Well, they haven't sent ME yet, so there's already an improvement in their decision-making ability, right?"

Arano turns to look at Cookies, and in spite of her tone, he can't help but say, "Did I mention I like you? I don't think I did."

Alastor heard some of the briefing, but with the massive Cosm's head in the way he could not get in. "Ahh... Aliassi wasn't it? He-hello?" He said louder while trying to peer around her, but not having much luck.

Nichole listens to everyone so far and nods, "Well, as for strength, our friend outside, she could bench her. Edel's ears perked, and she suddenly seems even more interested. "She's not one of the huskies that tries to... Jump on everything? Really? I definitely want to meet her, now, and I echo the desire for lack of violence. If you pick a fight with them, you're on your own."

Katalynia nods in agreement with dio. "Violence is over-rated anyways." Shi eyes over the image hir tail swishing with curiosity. "If we get attacked, that's one thing. But I definitely have no interest in fighting for the sake of fighting.""

Aliasi huhs. Where it counts."

Aliasi also, by the by, allows Alastor on in.

"Yes, violence not requested," Dio confirms, looking over his shoulder at Cookies. "If you all are ready, I'm about to head off towards our destination."

Arano suddenly has a mental image of a husky picking up a giant space lady, and then heaving her onto a hapless group of mercenaries resulting a group of very, very, flat soldiers-of-fortune. Snapping out of the reverie, he shrugs and says, "So stealth then... is this group not as typically violent as most 'ferals' are? I mean, aren't ferals generally those who have given in to their primal desires to dominate others either sexually or through violence?"

Selina arrives from Zephyr and steps into the doorway of the taskmaster's quarters. With the door opened up a bit, she leans in slightly, knocking. "Excuse me, I understand that there was a call for assistance? My name is Selina, I'm here from Zephyr."

Savi waits paitently, knowing that most of the group has covered everything she could think to ask based ont he limited information. With nothing more to add she does a once over of her gear, for the nineth time, and continues to wait.

Cookies growls in a tone that can only be described as sarcastic at Dio and reaches back to give the nanite cannon strapped to her back a couple pats. Hey, there's a reward, right Dio?"

Edel slinks out the door, opening her umbrella once more. "Nothing wrong with looking like a dog, Ali! I do all the time, practically! You get used to it." She rubs her chin with her free hand before letting it rest on the pommel of her sword. "Maybe I can befriend the husky. I'd love some tips for getting strength in a size like that."

Alastor slips by the Cosm, leaning away from her as he passed only due to intimidation of her size. I'm Alastor from Zephyr, got here as soon as I head the call." He said with his leftmost head as he let Edel pass.

Shaking her head Nichole gives a bit more caution, "Oh, she will try and convert you, just not violently, be very very careful, but yes, she is strong, and she is in charge of that group." she looks to Selina, "Time is important so your fellow agents can fill you in. Any more questions?"

Aliasi adds, overhearing Edel, "Hell, I'd like to have strength like that *in* this size. Hopefully we can keep it friendly."

Selina nods as she looks to Cookies, "Could you fill me in on a bit of the details?"

Arano eyes the catgirl's gun for a just a moment before glancing over and smiling politely at Alastor. Guess I should have left the gun at home..."

"Indeed I do ma'am. I'll be heading off towards the destination then." The lion waves and heads for the door, shrugging at Cookies, not sure if there's a reward at all besides A GOOD DAY OF HARD WORK.

Selina nods, "So a form fixative will not be helpful, I take it? And... We're just trying to find out why the infection is so powerful? A couple of other questions... Has the husky been forcing it on folks? And, is it only tenacious coming from her directly? Or does that continue on through generations?
