+ | As Vari approaches Sabella, another familiar figure leaves his presence. It would surprise no one to see Miru here and questioning the pudgy politician, but she is soon lost in the crowd again, at least a drone floating further above the scene indicates that she is still around here. Regardless, Sabella turns and grins at Vari as she arrives. "Ah, if it isn't the leader of the K9 unit. It is a pleasure meeting you, Doctor Arak'Than. I am honoured by your presence, and I thank you for your service." He said in a deep, jovial tone. The alpha husky glances Fenris before looking back at Vari, "I see you are busy right now. Do not worry, I do not require your help right now. I am pretty sure your friends from New Dawn do however. They are right there." Sabella adds as he points at the location of the Prommie delegation, "Regardless, I must attend other business now. If you would excuse me."

Turning to Razz, she chuckled. "Well, I don't think we will meet that many issues. The big three will be mad, of course, but I think most of the citizens here ire agreeing that we need a police to keep things in check, and that they should be not in the pockets of any of the coorporations."

+ | With Fenris approaching them, the kitsune turned to them. "I am sorry about that, but things have been a bit interesting for us the last few weeks, what with the talks of a new government, the continued effort in trying to gain hold on the Old World Order, and now this. We aren't even sure if we will actually be a police force after this, if people deem us unqualified." Vari smiled. "So I figured it would be in our both interests if we waited until after things of this sort have settled down, and we can be sure of the way things are headed."</div><br> <br><div title="Razz">Razz nods to Vari. "Yeah.. Time will tell, eh?" he glances at Fenris and nods "What Vari said, we didnt wnat to waste your time." he smiles at the 'nuki and looks around. "I didn realise we were associated with the Prommies?" he glances at Vari. "Or is that old issues from back when james was lead?"</div><br> <br><div title="Marcoant">Marcoant starts to walk around the area trying to get a better angle, finally he decides to climb the pharmacy hopping no one notice what he is doing to, when he is at the top he starts to analyze the area to know what to do if something goes wrong and searching for suspicious mutants.</div><br> <br><div title="Fenris">Fenris sucks a cocktail sausage off of its little toothpick and waves a pudgy hand. "Oh, yeah," he says, "No worries. I'm not in any hurry. I just figured, since I'm trying to keep things all civilized like Lord Tanuki wants, I might as well get a uniform out of it, right? I like uniforms." The burly tanuki looks a little disappointed when Sabella leaves without speaking to him. "Darn," he frowns, though the unusual facial expression does not linger on his round face, "I was hoping to get a little recognition with Sabella. If this police thing goes through, he might be making the decisions. I'll just have to try and catch him later. There were sign-ups around here somewhere, right?" He looks off after the departing Husky, hoping that he might still manage to slip in between hand kissing and baby shaking. Or something like that.</div><br> <br><div title="Naiko">As Naiko further approached the other kitsune's group, she added with a faint smile, "By all means, I don't think 'the big three' will be too mad. They might be mildly disappointed, but not mad. Still, you have done a great job, miss. And I'm willing to pitch in my efforts to help the populace in any means necessary. I've been patrolling Fairhaven, but the old world order requires a little.. Touch."

+ | She attempted to then turn back towards Fenris and Razz in order to properly greet them, not before her head twitched back nearly a centimeter, whirring. "Pardon me. Edwards Air Force Base, ring any bells?" The kitsune robot gently smiles towards the tanuki. We can catch up later if you wish to go after Mr. Sabella. I'm sure he's not going to run off anywhere." She said, looking around in the general direction of the crowd for a moment.</div><br> <br><div title="Ebreus">Ebreus nods as Ms Halfpaw explains what an honor it was to be chosen as the representative for the Prometheans. He smiles warmly and replies, "It is an honor I believe you are well suited for. I think with a bit of work we may be able to build a government good for all of the people of Fairhaven." As he finished his keen ears pick up on the sound of climbing and he discreetly glances to Marcoant. At this time the sound of Ebreus' voice could be heard playing in his head while Ebreus looks away, 'Hello there. Might I ask why you need such a vantage point?' The telepathic message is followed by Ebreus' comm number so that he may reply.</div><br> <br><div title="Rosi">The rosy-furred feline doesn't seem all that bothered by the lack of attention paid to her at this party. As a matter of fact, she seems perfectly happy being a wallflower. A fancy bread-and-salmon hor d'oeuvre and a plastic cup of water and she's content. The noise doesn't seem overwhelming either, which at the very least does make this a more pleasant afternoon. As she chews on her snack, Rosi starts making a who's who list in her head. Miss Halfpaw she recognizes. There's the husky man who must be throwing this event judging by the crowd gathered around him. A few other vaguely familiar faces. That's about it. So she makes her way over to the closest important-looking person, which just happens to be Chell.</div><br> <br><div title="Aaron">Aaron furrows her brow, holding her position for the time being. Things are happening around her, and that's perfectly fine...it means she's probably going relatively unnoticed, which - while admittedly slightly galling - is probably a good thing in the end. This way, she can watch in relative anonymity and gain some perspective that might elude others. Hey, it worked in the OWO rally. Er, sort of. And maybe if he comes out to greet the crowd, she'll get to meet him face-to-face!</div> |

However, he was not the only aspiring politician here. Various other independents joined this fray in support of this effort, it was not a secret by now that the unaligned survivors were trying to take the reins of the government back from the Big Three, especially Z and RSX. That was not going to be easy, as politicians beholden to the two corporations also showed up in force, mainly keeping to themselves right now as their gazes threw daggers at Mr. Sabella. The Prometheans had their own separate delegation here, preaching support; however, skeptical minds do note that it is unlikely that they will unequivocally support a police force not influenced by their teachings.
Other than the invested parties, various mutants and survivors just came to watch the spectacle, people who just chanced the meeting or who do not know enough to form an opinion. Another oddity that can be noticed, are the armed guards standing around the edges of the gathering, a reasonable precaution given the recent attacks by the Old World Order.
The stage is set, and the players begin their moves. It is unlikely that the winner of this battle, will win the cold war for power, but it will certainly help.Naiko walked up to the host as well, following the other kitsune's example and bowing as she introduced herself. Her voice sounded partially synthetic, but gentle nevertheless. "Good afternoon, Sabella, yes? You can call me Naiko, it is a pleasure to meet you! I've taken interest in your efforts and I'd love to hear more about you later on. For the meantime, I'll meet the other guests."
Shortly after, she bows towards the familiar tanuki, Razz and Vari. "Ah, good afternoon to you too! I believe I remember some of you. Welcome to this little event."As Vari approaches Sabella, another familiar figure leaves his presence. It would surprise no one to see Miru here and questioning the pudgy politician, but she is soon lost in the crowd again, at least a drone floating further above the scene indicates that she is still around here.
