There are a wide array of items scattered throughout the game. While most are 'useful', most are only sources of infection. Items fall into several categories, though many can belong to more than one. The most important categories are: Food/Water, Weapons, Infectious, Combat and Quest items. Infectious items are often dropped by monsters and are usually infected with their strain. Players seeking to become infected by a particular strain may opt to use or consume these items to speed up their transformation, but may come with additional benefits/penalties.

Food and Water Items

This category holds items which are either edible or potable to reduce hunger/thirst. The main of these are: Food, water bottle, chips and soda. There are also infectious forms of food and drink, such as dirty water or various milks. Dirty water may randomly infect the drinker when imbibed. Eating or drinking will also help restore a player's morale if it is negative, moving it to a maximum of zero.

• Food - Reduces hunger by 12 (by 9 if Junk Food Junky feat is taken).
• Water bottle - Reduce thirst by 25 (by 15 if Junk Food Junky feat is taken).
• Chips - Reduce hunger by 6 (by 15 if Junk Food Junky feat is taken).
• Soda - Reduce hunger by 12 (by 30 if Junk Food Junky feat is taken).
• Dirty water - Reduce thirst by 25 (by 15 if Junk Food Junky feat is taken). Random infection.
• Other food/drink items not listed.

Weapons

To be able to better defend themselves in combat, the player character can equip one of a variety of weapons they can find in the game. All weapons have a base damage value (starting weapons have a damage rating of 5). Unarmed combat starts at 4 damage. In most play modes, there is a pocketknife in the Bunker at the start of the game. A few weapons, such as the infected sword and the dirty whip are also tainted and will infect the player while they use them.

Here's a damage chart that TigerStripes posted on the forum. Note: Some of these don't really exist and are only present as examples for designers.

Combat Items

Some items can be used in combat by selecting the 'Item' option from the menu. There are only a few items which can be used in this way currently.

• Medkit - Heals a player, based on level and Intelligence. Increased by various feats. Random number of uses. Usable outside of combat.
• Healing Booster - Heals a player for 20 health. Increased by various feats. One time use and also usable outside of combat.
• Pepperspray - Temporarily hinders the opponent, granting an additional attempt to hit at greater effectiveness or greatly increasing the chance to flee.

Quest Items

With so many people scattered around the city, it's understandable that many of them want something from the player. When talking to NPCs, some will ask the player to obtain items for them or accomplish certain tasks. Some of these items are drop items from monsters which must be collected while others are special items which must be found elsewhere in the city. In some cases, the quest items are just tokens that don't show in a player's inventory at all.

• Ash Dragon Heart - Found off of Ash Dragator. Infects PC with Ash Dragator Strain of infection.

• Awesome Fruit - Found off of Awesome Tree. Infects PC with Awesome Tree strain of infection. PC becomes a male. Decrease breast size?

• Awesomer Fruit - Found off of Awesome Tree. Infects PC with Awesome Tree strain of infection. PC becomes a female. Increase breast size.

• Awesomest Fruit - Found off Awesome Tree. Infects PC with Awesome Tree strain of infection. PC becomes a herm. Increase breast size.

• Birth Control Pill - Found in Hospital. Prevents conception for a limited amount of time for 3 days?

• Blood Pill - Found in Hospital. Increases both strength and dexterity of player for a limited time. Side effects include a drop in both strength and dexterity as effects of pill wane. Side effects end after a certain amount of time.

• Centaur Cum - Found off of Centaur. Infects PC withe Centaur strain of infection. Decreases thirst a little.

• Chipped Tooth - Found off of Sabertooth. Infects PC with Sabertooth strain of infection.

• Chocolate Milk - Found off of Chocolate Lab. Infects PC with Chocolate Lab strain of infection.

• Cock Pill - Found in Hospital. Found off of Hermaphrodite Latex Vixen. Adds a cock to a player who has no or increases the number of cocks a player has by 1.

• Cow Milk - Found off of Bovine. Infects PC with Bovine strain of infection. Decrease both hunger and thirst. Increase Mooing?

• Demon Seed - Found off of Demon Brute. Infests PC with Demon Brute strain of infection. Give to rats in the Mall to begin Slut Rat event.

• Dog Milk - Found off of Shemale Smooth Collie. Infects PC with Shemale Smooth Collie strain of infection.

• Dolphin Milk - Found off of Dolphin. Infects PC with Dolphin strain of infection.

• Egg Nog - Found off of Reindeer. Infects PC with Reindeer strain of infection. Decrease hunger and thirst. Heal hp. Decrease humanity, increase morale.

• Fertile Pill - Found in Hospital. Causes PC to become fertile (temp. gives Fertile perk and temp. removes Sterile perk.)

• Fish - Found off of Sea Otter. Infects PC with Sea Otter strain of infection. Decrease hunger.

• Fresh Apple - Found off of Centaur. Infects PC with Mutant Centaur strain of infection.

• Gill Fruit - Found in the Beach. Gives PC gills.

• Glob of Goop - Found off of Goo Girl. Infects PC with Goo Girl strain of infection.

• Gryphon Milk - Found off of Hermaphrodite Gryphon. Infects PC with Hermaphrodite Gryphon strain of infection. Decreases thirst.

• Honeycomb - Found off of Bear. Decrease hunger. Increase thirst.

• Lucky Horseshoe - Found off of Stallion boi and Black Equinoid. Rarely yields a random drop item.

• Testosterone Pill - Found in Hospital. Found off of Butterfly. Removes cunt from player. Adds a cock and balls, if player has none. Removes pregnancy if pregnant.

• Tiger Patch - Found off of Rubber Tigress. Infects PC with Rubber Tigress strain of infection.

• Wolf Cum - Found off of Feral Wolf. Infests PC with Feral Wolf strain of infection. Increase Libido of player to 75, or lowers it to 75.

• Wyvern Goop - Found off of Wyvern. Infects PC with wyvern strain of infection. Lowers humanity.
