T'was a damp and rainy day at the edge of the bubble, where one fennec was situated just at the edge of the bubble, seated in the front seat of a familiar jeep. The old girl looks like she'd seen better days, or rather the front bumper looks as though it'd taken a few too many bumps, though given the age and state of things, was it really surprising. Still a closer inspection would reveal some bumper work having been done, the vehicle overall in decent condition save for the overall aesthetic of it. As for Otto himself, the fennec looked rather tired with those bags under his eyes and his vacant expression. He stares blankly out the window and into the vast expanse beyond, seemingly lost in thought, distracted by gods knew what. The doors to the vehicle remained closed, windows rolled up tight to keep the cascade of water out, but alas... no heating. Seems the AC unit was on the fritz.

Meenah was running along the beaten path that lead to the edge of the bubble, she'd heard rumors it wasn't very safe out here. Most recently though word had been groups of scavengers were going out to salvage and to be honest she wouldn't ming have a part of it herself. There was plenty to be said for other things she could be doing though, like sitting back at her apartment resting from a hard weeks work. Although the mousette seemed much more inclined to take as little rest as she could get and instead take this time to assist whomever she may meet out here. Who knows she might even find something useful right? These were the kind of thoughts occupying the mousettes mind as she approached the jeep, was this their ride? Was she REALLY the first one here? The mousette astonished, could not help but survey her surroundings as the rain pittered and pattered around the surrounding area.. It was only after a half-haphzard look around that she shuffled to the front of the jeep with all her equipment and dropped a single dufflebag to tap on the window. She had a feeling of eery familiarity from the fennec inside, but not...it couldn't be... "Hello?" She gently questioned before motioning for the patron of the vehicle to roll down the window, as she had MANY questions.

Ebreus was hardly bothered by the damp rainy-ness of the day as he brought along his powered hazmat suit... what RSX marketed as 'Power Armor' and might well some day actually become power armor. He strides up to the familiar jeep and fennec, and the unfamilair mouse. "Hello." he says to the mouse girl as he makes his way up to the jeep, then, "Hey Otto." as he reaches the jeep.

Ciana slowly flew from the distance into view of the people nearby the jeep, giving light waves to Ebreus and Meenah and landing next to Otto as she hugged her master. "Ottie! It's been forever, how have you been?" A purple drone followed her, giving a few beeps of greeting as the fox landed.

Lizzie was only somewhat familiar with the particular job, more heading out by the request of Otto and her own desire to get a bit of fun scaving and doing whatever done. Nothing like helping out a friend after all. As she approached the area she just started to shake her head with a slight sigh. "Goddamn it. Pick a fuckin' body or some shit so I can recognize ya easy you fuckin' asshole." She grumbled albiet goodnaturedly. Adjusting the pack on her back she eyed the other folks who had arrived and continued to ignore the rain. "This everyone goin' on the fuckin' job? The name's Lizzie for those of ya who might not fuckin' know it. I think I recognize at least a couple of ya but uh, fuck if I don't remember everyone."

The fox looks rather spaced out for a few moments more, before the familiar tone of one... two... three, nay... four familiar voices! His eyes adjust just in time for him to catch Ciana's glomp-tackle, a giddy giggle passing him once he squeezes the other fennec and gives her a peck on the cheek, "Hiya sweetie." Otto greets with a wide smile, before releasing her. "What are you doing here? I had no idea you were interested in these sorts of things!" he notes, before casting a nod and a wave to his more hellhoundish friend, "Yo Eb. I had a feeling you'd not want to miss this."

Hopping out of the jeep, he stretches out and shakes his muzzle, letting the rain wash away some of the drowsiness as he peers at Meenah and tilts his head a little. "Oh, maybe this will remind you." Otto notes and winks at her, a tug to her tail and a peck to her lips given, leading into a swift squeeze and a subtle cup of the rear, before Otto parts from her with a soft giggle, only to come face-to-face with Lizzie. "There you are!" he yips excitedly. "God fucking damn it, Liz. About time I saw you on one of these! Anyway!" he clasps his hands and scurries to climb onto the jeep's bonnet.

"Everyone get inside, we're gonna be heading off to check out a ruined fabrication facility of sorts. Scouting reports indicate it should be a smooth, safe ride all the way there, though what we find once in the damn place is... well, a mystery. I hope you folks know your machines, cause I'm not gonna be joining you." the fennec announces, before swinging over the edge of the driver's seat window and into his seat. He sounds the horn and yells out. "Well, come on then! Get in before you get soaked! We have a job to do!"

Meenah was helpless to the gropey fennec who took a liberty by tugging her tail, eliciting a muffled response from the mousette into the quick peck on the lips delivered by him as well... She huffpuffs as he takes subtle pawful of her butt before strolling off with confidence to the next patron...Normally she'd be drowning him in questions but this all seemed like a lot so she'd figured he'd explain on the way or something. All outside thoughts of hers dropped as she picked up a few key words 'Everyone get inside', it wasn't long before she was sliding into the passenger seat and positioning the two bags she'd brought with her, at her feet. The mousette barely waiting for Otto to finish speaking before she rolled down the passenger window to shout softly at him as he came close to finish. "It better be safe!! If we hit a land-mine you're gonna owe me a lot more than dinner Otto!!" Obviously the mause was doing her best to sound serious although it was hard to tell with how widely she was grinning. Seconds later she was ducking her head back into the jeep and rolling up her window, not long after she took to sorting her equipment some and drying off her flamethrowing with a soft rag she kept in the pocket of her uniform.

Ebreus smiles as he sees the flying Fennec and her purple drone arrive for the mission and silently calls his own four combat drones. Two build for attack, a medic, and flying shield. As his drones come to him and the he hears the human he turns to see the source of the impressively foul mouth. "Seems like it." he says when she asks if thats everyone, and Otto tells them to get in. He climbs into the jeep, "Heh, you've got some sort of involvement with pretty much everyone in Fairhaven, don't you Otto?" he says seeing Otto knows everybody who's shown up. He settles into taking up a large amount of the back of the jeep and says, "I don't recognise you two. My name's Ebreus, nice to be working with you." to Meenag and Lizzie, a simple formality.

"Just seeing what I could do for my master. It has been a while and all." Ciana turned her head as the flurry of fowl language erupted, sighing lightly. "Name's Ciana. Nice to meet'cha all." As Otto called everybody in the jeep, the smolfox rushed to the driver-passenger seat, going through her things as her drone beeped quickly to Ebreus in greeting and flew into the car. "Everybody have their shit?"

"Eh, suck a dick Otto. I fuckin' came as soon as I could find my vibrator. Also as soon as you had one of these goddamn things at a time I could drag my ass down to slide inta this shit. I only know some shit 'bout machines but if anythin' gets in the way I got my fuckin' cannon of a rifle here ta blow any bitches we find to kindom fuckin' come." Lizzie laughed, sliding into the jeep and doing her best to shrug off the rain once inside. "Nice ta meet cha Eb. By the way Otto, you owe me a big fuckin' cock when this is done or I'm gonna shove my boot up your ass. Anyway, I got all the shit I need."

The fennec snickers softly and casts Meenah a sultry glance, one laced with mischief and joy. "Well, I'm glad we have a doctor in the group, just in case someone does end up losing a leg, or gets their legs burned to a crisp, isn't that right, Eb?" the lad casts Ebreus a knowing glance and a soft smile, before turning back towards the steering wheel. Reaching for his pack, he pulls out a laptop and hands it to Meenah, "Play us some music, hon! I got lots in there, though it's all pre-P-Day stuff. Just pick any funky beats to lighten up the mood? This damnable..." *thud* the fox strikes at the malfunctioning radio present in the jeep with his fist "...piece of rubbish is still on the fritz. I swear... if I can ever get one of these puppies for myself, it'll be in prime working order within a week, if not less." the fennec sighs wistfully and shakes his head.

"Sometimes that's more of a curse than a blessing, Eb. Anyway..." the fox turns the key to the jeep and revs the engine. It rumbles into life and roars as he presses down the gas pedal. "Glad you decided to come as less of a hulk, Eb. We'll need the space and the weight capacity to carry what we find, if we find something worth bringing back. For all I know it could all be rust, but you never know until you look, right?" the fenenc shrugs, then sighs deeply and rolls his eyes at Lizzie's comments. "Well, we wouldn't want to get your boot dirty, would we?" he snickers and leans over to give Ciana a lick on the cheek. "Just try to stay safe, alright? Like I said, you won't be with me, you'll be with them. All I am gonna do is guard the jeep."

That said, "Too late to think about your shit, folks!" he shifts into gear and floors the gas, with a wild screech as the tires grind against the floor, the engine roars and the group departs at a rapid pace towards their destination. "SO!" Otto yips enthusiastically "We will be there in no time at all, god I love driving in the rain, if you folks have any questions, now's the time. Otherwise... enjoy the beats!"

The mousette barely finishes positioning her gear and taking count of everything she'd brought with her before Otto presents her with his laptop and the choice of what music should be playing on the way there. Her thin digits danced a path across the keyboard until she found a song that she liked and thought wasn't TOO corrupted. IT was of course 'Gimme Shelter' by none other than The Rolling Stones, a jazzy interlude starting to fill the jeep as it built towards a rock-styled beat and soulful lyrics. After setting the song she turned it up just enough to where people weren't shouting over eachother and started to hum along. Meenah seems to barely notice the glance he tossed her way, cheeks reddening and ear-tips turning a familiar shade of pink...Although it didn't last, she was soon clearing her throat and focusing on the road ahead as the surrounding fellow passengers conversed. Apparently not much a talker considering the only person she'd addressed so far was Otto, although she did bother to toss a firm glance at Lizzie as she kept spewing filth from her mouth. The mousette hesitating for a moment before giving Otto a questioning glance and asking, "Do you know everyone around here or what? Pft, maybe you should run for mayor..." She joked tossing a casual wink his way before back over her shoulder at the crew that'd assembled for this very odd salvage mission. "And why would anyone burn their legs off? If anyone is burning peoples legs off It'll most likely be me doing the burning and hopefully not too excessively..." She squirms in her seat, bags of gear shifting, clanking and clinking with every little movement.

Ebreus sighs as the foul mouthed human keeps it up. "You know if you save that for a few well places death threats you can get a lot out of those threats." he comments, then turns his attention to the driving Fennec. "Yeah... learned a bit from that." he says, in response to the comment on being burned. He chuckles lightly as the mouse comments on the burning.

As Otto threw the laptop to Meenah, Ciana began to speak, "If there's any We-", before being cut off by the music. She sighed lightly, humming to an upbeat tune of her own as the car started and subsequently began moving.

"You're damn right." Lizzie laughed at Otto's return quip, just flipping off Meenah at the sharp glance and sticking her tongue out at the mousette. The tunes were rather nice and she bobbed her head with the ongoing music and tapped her foot to the beats as they sped off through the rain bouncing around towards the fab facility. She didn't have any questions herself, not currently at least, and was rather content to just chatter and rock out as they moved towards their target. "Pfff, who is makin' death threats? Last I checked warnin' somebody 'bout a boot up their backside wasn't quite the same as pointin' a gun towards there head. Damn, people are fuckin' sensitive."

The fennec casts a subtle apologetic glance around, before resuming his bobbing in time with the tunes. Soon, a familiar ruined cityscape would come into view, drawing ever nearer as the group advanced in their trail, the road bumpy due to its worn state, potholes frequent every few feet, though it was nothing the jeep's suspension couldn't handle.

As they enter the post-apocalyptic ruins, the state of disarray and chaos becomes readily apparent, buildings mostly collapsed, looted and left to crumble with age, any signs of their past function left subtle, if not completely unseen. Have a good look around, and try not to be very destructive about it. That thing looks like it's ready to collapse, and I'd rather it doesn't do so on your heads, folks." the fennec warns "I'll be here with the car."

Ebreus sighs as the human clearly misunderstands him, "No." he says, "I mean that profanity is better served for use in death threats." he corrects. He grins and says, "A few well placed threats can be more effective than a gun to the head."

The mousette took some time to fully absorb their new vast wasteland surroundings, crumbling looted buildings and-- AGH EEK....POTHOLES APLENTY! The mousette was boucning around like a tumble-weed in her seat, eyes widening as not before too long the car came to a very sudden hault. Meenah was hasty in gathering her things, quickly pulling her flamethrower from its' carrying bag leaving it to sit in the passenger seat of the jeep. Ebreus sighs as the human clearly misunderstands him, "No." he says, "I mean that profanity is better served for use in death threats." he corrects. He grins and says, "A few well placed threats can be more effective than a gun to the head anyway." As the jeep comes to a halt he steps out and says, "Yeah, even makes places like Hotel Oblivion look nice..." then he looks back into the jeep and seeing his drones sitting motionless on the seats, "So anyone have Regulation NM or am I providing the bubble for this operation?" he asks.

As the jeep stops, Ciana hugs Otto and gives a small lick to his cheek as she hops out of the car. "Sorry to say that I only have Biochem, Eb. I'd help if I could, really." Her drone flew out of the car soon after, their assault rifle extended as it beeped a few times. "Saint is itching to shoot something, so shall we get going?"

"Eh, maybe but this is just how I fuckin' talk. Tryin' ta see a shrink and shit ta cut it down but results are mixed." Lizzie says, shrugging and giving the flamethrower a bit wider berth in the small jeep as it moves to the sudden stop and jumping out as quick as she can after. Stretching and holding her rifle at the rest she gives Otto a sidelong glance. "So good you ain't goin' in then Otto? I seem ta recall you have a rep for blowin' up shit like this. I aon't got any regulation either so I'm hopin' you're gonna hold that fuckin' shit up."

"Not this time. I gotta watch the rustbucket." Otto snickers and shivers lightly as he feels the familiar sensation of a foreign signal kick his nanites back into gear. "Sadly, I can't stay here. I'd feel better if I took the jeep somewhere safe. You never know what might happen, so I'll be leaving you folks here to tend to the work." he announces as he puts his laptop away and turns off the music. "Just fire a gunshot into the air to summon me. I'll hear it." he snickers and wiggles his massive fennec ears. "Trust me, I can probably hear a pin drop from across town with these."

Meenah turns to the group with big buck tooth'd grin, holding her flamethrower tightly to her body as she walked around the back of the jeep and towards the building. "I can host a bubble but if I do I wont be able to focus enough to perform medical duties, at least to a full capacity. I can still stitch someone up if they get hurt real bad... But..." She trails off and stars to tap her paws together looking at the group. "I'll put it to a vote if I have to, after all majority rules right? But I really think we should take caution over this sort of matter. Try not to make any noise unless we have to...We don't want to draw un-wanted attention right?"

Ebreus nods as Ciana and Lizzie both explain that they don't have Regulation Nanomagic. He shrugs, at least he has it. As Otto explains that he has to take the jeep to a safe distance he nods, "Well I guess you do have to keep the ride safe... it'd be a pain to have to lug all our loot back on foot." he says and puts up a bubble as he looks to Meenah, "I'll just take care of the Bubble. I've got a filiment kit & everything so it'll be 40ft, and we shouldn't have undue distractions on our medic." he says as his drones come to life and fly to a perimiter around him. He looks to the building then says, "Being quiet would probably be prudent."

Ciana watches as her drone flies out of the car when Ebreus puts the mini-bubble up, giving a hum of interest. "Forgot that drones and all didn't work outside the bubble. And, Meenah, I've got your back. I did bring a medkit and all for a reason." The drone gives a few beeps, extending its' gun in preparation as it gives a bitcrushed fanfare for Ebreus.
