"Ugh..." Is the only thing escaping Skylar's beak before she also begins to sprint after Selene, hoping her ankle doesn't get any worse. Sel's the first to arrive back at the warehouse.  It's actually multiple buildings connected together with dividers, it looks like other segments house different things, and the building is enormous, stretching on a scale unlike anything else in the area.  Enormous metal, with blue painted metal siding.  There are many entrances, clearly he cannot guard them all.

Selene pauses outside the building, hanging back from the nearest entrance as she studies the area, looking for guards, or footprints, or anything that might indicate what's present in the immediate area. She takes several deep breaths through her nose as well, attempting to catch any errant scents in the area, or upwind of it. Anything to give a bit more knowledge.

A light scent on the breeze, cornpollen still hanging in the air in the late summer.  And then it hits her, the scent of her father's cologne, a light but familiar and chilling scent.  It's hard for her brain to focus on anything else once it hits.

Selene's nostrils flare as the scent of her father's cologne hits her, and her eyes narrow, a steady, quiet growl coming from her throat. Sky's question momentarily distracts her, long enough to say "I've the scent of my father. Up to you if you want to follow." With that, she starts following the scent, staying low to the ground, moving from cover to cover, crossbow and spear at the ready.

"Like if I'll let you go alone.." Aidan shrugs, clearly not letting the group splitting again. Tailing close Selene, the fox keeps her acute senses ready to catch any trace of an ambush, clearly Selene's father preferring an.. indirect confrontation.

Skylar scratches her head. "I...just don't want them to get us all in one fell swoop if it's a trap...Selene's father probably know her pretty well." The gryphon explains while staying her ground for now.

Right to the door he entered, the whip still on the ground, discarded, and the head of the poor man left nearby it.  Careless of him, usually he's clean, but the blood is just left dripping onto the ground.

Selene pauses at the door, giving the whip and head a brief onceover to ensure there's no surprises, before starting to examine the door for any traps or alarms or other unwanted things.

Skylar groans audibly at the sight, going closer to Selene and trying to assist her in the trap detecting process. "I'm...really having a hard time to understand why your father is doing this...but I guess the story will have to wait for a better time..." The gryphoness says clearly uncomfortable.

Before either can enter, it's quite clear to Aidan that there's something... wrong with the door, she spots the normal alarm system, long since disabled, but the wires appear attached in the wrong way.  She suddenly reaches out and stops Selene before she touches the door.  Electrified it seems.

Selene nods her thanks to Aidan, and begins moving around the building, searching for another entrance, still moving stealthily and checking for any guards with eyes, ears and nose.

The system short circuits and the metal of the wires bubbles, Aidan's feedback is more than the system can handle.  There are other entrances nearby, but they seem equipped with similar jury rigged systems.  Though it seems almost like the doors are designed to keep people in, rather than out.

Selene checks with Aidan to make sure the door is safe to touch before she attempts to enter.

Skylar hrms. "Well, there goes the plan of going different ways...unless Aidan unlocks the other doors we're probably going with this one, and we've already burned some time..." She then begins entering the place, trying to be as silent and inconspicuous as possible.

"I suspect it would take a lot of time to short circuit all of them. More, I need a lot of time to recharge myself... definitely not a plan since we are in a hurry." Aidan nods at Skylar.

Selene quickly darts through the door at Aidan's words, holding it open for Sky to enter behind her, trying to take in as much as possible of what's inside, from her current vantage point, before she moves anywhere. Checking to see if the scent trail of cologne is still present.

The place is dark, no lights on, the dim light from skylights overhead behind the only source of light.  Stacks and rows of wooden chairs greets them, and a winding maze of space between.  There's blood on the ground, easy to follow, as well as the scent going in a different direction.  There's also a cry from the distance, a female's voice crying in pain.
 +

 +
Selene turns to Aidan and Skylar, whispering "Follow the blood trail. I'm going to keep after the scent trail. Let me know what you find. And if I find... him... I'll try to call you up first, before doing anything." She winces at the sound of someone crying in pain, but he features harden as she sets off on her chosen route.

 +
Skylar tilts her head at Selene. "Just...be careful alright?" She then turns to Aidan and nods before saying "Ready?" as she prepares to trail the blood trail.
 +

Aidan nods at Selene. "Alright, I'll go with Skylar.. but just to make sure..." the fox says, focusing a bit until a small wisp comes out from her tails, landing on Selene's shoulder, "Take this little friend with you...". Then, Aidan nods at Skylar, "Ready."
 +

 +
Selene grins a little as the wisp settles on her shoulder, before her features become grim again as she trails her father's cologne.

The pair follow the blood trail into the table section, stacked tables with a display piece intermittent in rows and rows.  Following through a winding maze of furniture, it becomes apparent this place is easy to get lost in, and hard to navigate.  Selene's scenttrail taking her to outdoor furniture, her fur bristling as it grows more potent.  And then both groups happen upon the man, each with a woman.  Skylar and Aidan see him using a knife to carve little slices into a blonde woman whose throat is slashed but doesn't appear to be dying, as well as other bodies around, and a woman nearby screaming at what he's doing.  They're each bound to tables that are up at a 90 degree angle, carefully set up.  Selene... Selene happens upon her dad, on a bear section of wall, with Cilan's naked form hung up on hooks, a bucket below her, her femoral artery cut and draining blood into the bucket below.  He's dipping a brush into the bucket, and painting on the walls an image with the blood.  He turns immediately in Selene's direction, a leer on his face.
 +

 +
"Found him." Selene says shortly into her radio, standing to face him. Her face contorts with rage for a moment as she takes in what's happened to Cil, but she forces calmness back onto herself before slowly, gratingly saying "Let. Her. Go."
 +

 +
Skylar doesn't reply to Selene as she doesn't want to be detected before they can save the women being slice up she looks at Aidan, points at her, back to herself and then to Selene's dad, indicating they should charge him together.
 +

 +
Aidan growls and nods, crunching down and preparing a joint attack with Skylar. Checking her inner battery, she should have enough electricity for a surge aimed at the knife, able to at least disarm the man.
 +

 +
Skylar herself gets ready to charge against the man and try to immobilize him by grappling his arms, something that forces his joints into the wrong way. She looks at Aidan one last time, and finally charges.
 +

 +
The father turns to Selene, "Oh dearest, I'm ever glad to see you.  I've freed you of your burden, she's now passed from this world and given me the power I need to protect you.  He smiles toothily, baring what seem like abnormal teeth for him, but still glistening white.  He however makes no motion toward her, instead preferring to continue painting.  The other man seems blissfully unaware of the two preparing their attack, focused in almost a haze on the bloodwork (it seems to be a large version of oroborous, endlessness, except this one is modified looking dragonish, and curled around another, much smaller dragon ) in front of him.  He swings his head fuzzy just as the two charge, an electric surge knocking the blade from his hand, and the gryphoness tackling on top.
 +

 +
Selene growls loudly, ever muscle in her tensing at her father's words, though she manages to restrain herself from simply leaping at him in a bid to rend him limb from limb. "The only thing I need protection from is you. Cil wasn't a burden, she was my wife. And now, I'll make you pay." Her eyes flick over the macabre painting, studying the details for a moment, trying to make some sense of it, before flicking back to him again.
 +

 +
Skylar tries to grapple onto the man and move to his back so the task of immobilizing him can be less dangerous, she then squawks an order to Aidan. "Just kill him if you get the chance! Let’s just end this here and now!"
 +

 +
Aidan shakes her head at Skylar, for now just a strong punch hits the man at the mouth of the stomach. The fox seems quite wary of mind-trick, and killing first isn't probably the best course of action. Once disarmed and between the woman and her aggressor, Aidan is ready to see the reaction, even if her tails form a shield behind her, just in case.
 +

 +
The man seems stunned at both being tackled and disarmed, and then smacked in the head.  However he does keep control, after a few moments of confusion and sorting his head, he seems back to his composed self, eyes flickering and a grin on his face as he recognizes Skylar.  "Oh good, she came alone to me, and left me toys.  I do hope your ankle doesn't sting too much." his eyes flicker to Aidan for a moment, but not recognizing them they go back to Skylar.  "And I suspect you'll both taste good when it's all over."
 +

 +
Skylar simply snarls a 'shut up' in response while still holding him. "Aidan? What are you waiting for? Just end this." She says once again but less demanding and more like asking something that should be common sense.
 +

 +
Selene's version of her father takes a single step closer, pulling out his horse crop, the familiar thing he beat his daughter with when she was a child.  "You, have been a bad girl.  A very /bad/ girl.  I am sure it's not entirely your fault, and your friend has corrupted your mind, but we will fix that soon."  The sound of his voice hisses, and his eyes are slitted, something Selene hadn't noticed a moment before.  "You will see soon enough."
 +

 +
Selene doesn't even hesitate for a second. Her hand snaps up, and a crossbow bolt is launched directly at her father's forehead, right between the eyes. If it hits, the explosives in the tip will blow his head clean off.
 +

 +
Aidan is a bit in difficulties to kill the man, now that she has him in front of her. Still, she clenches her teeth and charges her fist... landing a powerful blow to his groin. Growling harshly, the fox says, "You have to answer some questions first, before we put you out of your misery.".
 +

 +
Skylar keeps silent now that she sees there's a bit of reason into letting the man live, letting Aidan ask the questions while she keeps her role as gryphon jailor.

Skylar manages to get free, heading straight back to her companions, the whip mark around her ankle throbbing. A narrow escape, certainly, the poor man she was chasing fared far worse. Selene's father returning to inside the old furniture storage warehouse.

"Are you alright to carry on, Sky, or do we need to send you back to the bus with someone?" Selene asks the gryphon, her tone not entirely devoid of sympathy, even distracted as she is by the desire to run into the warehouse and tear it apart searching for her mate.

She sighs once more while keeping up with the rest of the group. "I thought they were working for your father, not against him..." She completes as if trying to rationalize the situation.

Aidan is just staying with her back against a tree, looking at the reunion with Skylar. She's listening the conversation, but her eyes are more focused on seeking on new menaces. She looks a bit more relaxes still, knowing that Skylar is back and, for the most part, safe.

Snowblind stays behind with Jahrine to take care of the newly resurrected man, getting information out of them. Their wives, daughters, are held by that awful man, and the only term was to bring Selene to him alive and alone. A failed attempt, moaning over how he's probably killing them all right now.

Hearing the new information over the radio from Snow, Selene growls fiercely, and sprints towards the warehouse, every sense alert for signs of danger, or a massacre within the large building. She doesn't stop to see if the others are following her, instead simply assuming they will. Eventually, at least.

"Ugh..." Is the only thing escaping Skylar's beak before she also begins to sprint after Selene, hoping her ankle doesn't get any worse. She, however, tries to say something to the others over the radio. "So...I guess this is it.
