(Willy) It was a calm cold day at in Fairhaven, as agents went along their days and Zephyr went about their buisness. Part of their buisness included improving on the City, to which the commissioner of the department quietly sat at his desk. The Pangolin sighed at little as he sat there, and patiently looked at the door. He knew he had put a bulliten out for help with the hotel, and he hoped there would be enough to complete the job.
(Junes) walking in from the northern sidewalk Junes walks in wearing a casual black hoodie/jean outfit and walks to the spot double checking if its correct
(Fenris) Fenris swaggers into the office look for all the world like the most stereotypical construction worker imaginable, in a shabby wife beater and grungy jeans with a heavy tool belt.

"Reporting for duty, boss," he grins, flexing a burly arm, "You bring the ammo, I've got the guns!"
(Willy) The Pangolin smiles and then looks a bit perplexed when he hears Fenris'
(Willy) ...s comment about his "guns" before shaking his head and flicking his tounge as he regathers himself. "Umm...yes that would be helpful with this..." he says, before also nodding to Junes. "If you two could take up a chair, I will give it a couple more moments to see if anyone else will arrive and then I will get into the task" he says.
(Junes) shrugging junes decides to sit on the ground "im pretty good with organization and i guess lifting if that helps"
(Fenris) Fenris snags himself a chair and spins it around to sit on it backward. "So, we're fixing up the old Hotel Oblivion?" he asks, leaning forward on the backrest, "Seems like a big job, what with the place being overrun by ferals like it is."
(Willy) Seeing Junes deciding to sit on the ground when there is ample chairs makes him shrug a bit, before he hears Fenris' question. "Ah no...that place is...far too choatic for such a project" he says "However, over the past couple months, Zephyr has been working on the rehabilitation of an old Hotel structure that is located near the Curvy Gym and the Sloppy Seconds Buffet, and we have reached the point that the building is structually sound enough to move to inside work." he says pausing for a second and looking twoards the doors. "This is where you guys come in. We are sending a team of craftsman to work on rehabilitating and renovating the interior of the building, in hopes of returning it to operation, and I will be asking you to lead this project. As part of it, you will be tasked with getting a read of what is inside, what needs to be done, and to help support renovation of the property as needed. Are you up for this task?" he asks as he flicks his tounge agian.
(Junes) hearing fenris mention hotel oblivion junes eyebrows raise but after hearing the current job they respond "oh sounds easy enough though id be lying if renovating the other hotel wouldnt be interesting but this is definitely the better option"
(Fenris) Fenris frowns in thought and steeples his chubby fingers. "Do I get a clip board?" he asks, "I can do almost anything given a clipboard and a crowd of gullible people."
(Bleu) *knock-knock-knock* There's a knock at the door, and then it swings open. "Yo." A satyr walks in. "Yo guys. I heard you need money for something. Willy, Fen. Other person."
(Willy) The commissioner chuckles to Fenris "I don't know if people will be available for such but we should be able to get your a clipboard from the reply" he says as he relaxes a little, before with a tounge flip, he smiles as he sees Bleu comes into the room. "Ah hello, I don't think that we will need money per say, but if you can lead the team that is doing the improvements and point the way with supplies I think you will do well." he says, before looking back to the door. "Well I think this may be all we get. Is there any questions before you are dismissed?"
(Fenris) Fenris shakes his head and looks like the jaded, world wise construction worker he is not. "Sure thing, boss!" he says, "We got it all under control!"

After all, how hard can construction and interior design be?"
(Junes) remembering a trick they have they "oh right fen! it may not be permanent but i could give you" and appearing in tiny wisps a small pencil and puny clipboard appear "it doesnt last long but if you need a quick thing i could make a thing" directing their attention to the manager they mention "i dont have any questions for now so i think im good"
(Bleu) Bleu nods his head. "You may not need money for the renovation, but you'll need money for the decorations, hah. And I'm prepared to offer a sizable sum of freecred in order to furnish whatever site it is you're renovating."
(Willy) Willy The Pangolin nods to Bleu hearing the comment "I'll make sure to get contacts to you and we can see what we can setup." he says before looking to everyone. "If that is all then, then you are good to go. Go down to the lobby and speak to John the Arctic Fox thats with the group meeting down there, and then head to the location noted and get to it." he says, before looking back down to his notes as he awaits them to leave.
(Junes) Junes gets up from the ground and walks down to find John
(Fenris) Fenris gives a lazy little salute and hops up from his chair, spinning it back around to show the sweat mark he has left behind on the plastic. He is really going out of his way for this dirty construction trope he is leaning on. "You got it, boss!" he says, swaggering out of the room to see what he can learn from this John character before heading to the site.
(Bleu) Bleu does finger-guns at the pangolin, then he saunters out after the others. "Well, I tell ya, it sure is nice to be flush with cred, eh?"
(Willy) Once the group has met with John, they are given a bigger heads up on the situation and are guided out to the site. Arriving at the location, they find a 4 story hotel in front of them that looks like its seen better days, but it has been patched to the point it of looking stable and ready, with good front doors. Entering inside, they find themselves within the Hotel's lobby, which looks like an expected after Z-Day mess. Tables and chairs and various thing as strewn over the floor, and there are some rather ugly stains on the walls. Even so it looks like the desk itself has survived the carnage as a computer monitor sits idily on the counter. Looking about, they would also see what looks like a metal hotel directory on the wall.
(Junes) looking at the mess Junes figures to get started on brushing aeay debris and diligently brushing out various stains with surprising success!
(Fenris) Fenris saunters through the debris, clip board in hand. A real one that he acquired on the way.

"The imaginary one was nice," he explains to June, "But not much good for taking actual notes."

He scribbles on his clipped paper, boting the need for debris removal and the importation of newer, classier debris. "Ugh," he grunts, "We're gonna have to pull all the carpet and half the drywall to get this place livable." The burly tanuki wanders to the computer and checks to see if the thing has power.
(Bleu) Bleu makes a grimace as he enters the wrecked lobby. "You know why they call this place "Hotel Oblivion," right?" he wonders aloud, to no one in particular. "According to rumor, Ground Zero, the spot where the first nanite outbreak in Faihaven happened, was literally somewhere in or near this hotel. Some say it was an attack. Nobody knows the truth." As he talks, he's taking stock of the mess. "I scavenged here years ago. Doesn't look much different from back then..."
(Willy) As Junes diligently worked and used her Prestidigitation abilities, she is able to straighten up the lobby without much trouble and in time makes it into at least presentable shape.

Meanwhile, Fenris upon finding the computer, finds that it seems to be without power, the outlet looking like its damaged, but he thinks he can jerry rig something. Attaching a Mako battery with a little help from Junes. He is able to get it to boot up. As the tone of Windows Vista chimes as the computer boosts up, the computer asks for a password. Fenris smiles and after a couple minutes is able to figure out the admin password, and logs the computer in.

Once in, the Tanuki sees various system and databases for the hotel, detailing various things that were occuring as events occured on Z-Day.
(Junes) Junes smirks when that beautiful windows background appears and even though curious about the past and what it holds decides to wait for later to learn more and props up chars near the walls and generally away from other furniture to try and clean up under them and make the place more cleared up "so does anyone have a radio we can listen to?"
(Fenris) Fenris sticks out his tongue at the computer. "Ugh, Vista," he groans, "Microsoft's greatest crime."

He gives the compy's files a cursory glance, then gets back to work. "Let's see what else we got," he says, setting out to explore, "Since they say the place isn't going to fall down on us."
(Bleu) Bleu laughs. "Pretty sure Vista is what caused the world to end," he jokes. He looks at all the ruined furniture. "I think it'll take about 1,500 freecred to replace all the wreck furniture."
(Willy) looking over the files and records, Fenris would find what looks like a general case of what would of been for the day, though there are several warnings of people who never checked out, and a report that the mechanical lock system for the room doors is offline. As he begins to step away from the desk, he also spots a large stand of keycards sitting under the table, which various ones are missing, especially several of the keys to the rooms on the 3rd floor. Meanwhile, Junes continues to work on the room, and they and Bleu spots the metal Hotel directory. On it, they see the current list of featured places to the hotel: "Lobby, Conference Center, Room #-#" there are also various greyed out areas, which they expect are worker areas of the hotel.
(Junes) while placing chairs upright Junes hollers over "so what kinda stuff is on the computer anyways?" and hile awaiting an answer summons a tiny magnifying glass looking at the ceiling
(Fenris) Fenris helps himself to the keycards, stuffing them in a belt pouch and taking note of both the missing cards and the noted, unvacated tennants. "You guys just keep up the good work!" he calls out, heading for the stairs, "I gotta go check some... uh... construction stuff? on the third floor. Computer says there might be some... uh.... blockage."
(Bleu) Bleu harrumps, and checks the computer for himself. "Blockage, you say?" He's not terribly gullible. He squints at the screen. "Woof. 14 years worth of overdue room charges add up to $3,567.89. Flyin' fuck. And look at that room service charge, too. Somebody REALLY liked Lobster Thermidor..."
(Willy) As Fenris climbs the stairs to the third floor, he finds something intreguing as he opens the door. Down the hall beside one of the rooms there stands what looks to be an old housekeeping cart. Stepping up and looking closer, he notices that the door is barred to stay ajar, and so are the doors to several rooms further down. Looking over the info, Bleu doesn't really find any new info on the system that Fenris had already found, and noticies the keycards in the stand on the shelf.
(Junes) seeing the floor cleared of debris Junes head off to search a closet and eventually finds a vacuum and proceeds to wheel it over and after connecting it to the battery starts to vacuum up some dirt and smaller debris that would have been a pain grabbing by hand earlier
(Fenris) Fenris saunters down the hallway to stop by the housekeeping cart, out of sight from the gap in the door. The burly tanuki ponders for a moment, trying to decide how best to advance.

He concentrates for a momentand there is a flutter of leaves. Once they clear, Fenris is wearing a stereotypical French maid outfit!

He pushes the cart down the hall and stops at the first door standing ajar and knocks gently. "Housekeeping," he calls in a light falsetto, "I am here to clean ze room!"
