It was a clear-skied and sunny Sunday, appropriately enough, and after all the mayhem, chaos and discord of recent events, something less stressful and more constructive had been organized. Spearheaded by the K9 police force, funded both privately and publicly by various smaller benefactors, among which was a certain enigmatic felinoid dragon, it was a fine day to do some good work for the betterment of the city.

Clean up the dirty decrepit buildings! Renew them such they don't randomly collapse and hurt someone! It was an act of public safety, and who would care more for that than the enforcers of safety and order themselves, the brave dogs, cats, dragons, rodents or other various critters clad in deep blue. Upon arrival, those interested in aiding the repair efforts would find themselves standing before a five-story building, in poor condition and in desperate need of repair, leaned right against the Curvy Seconds gym no less.

Several construction workers were already on-side, carefully erecting support struts to reinforce the crumbling building, while others worked on the foundation, filling cracks in the ground, sealing weaknesses in the cement, and pulling rubble out of the interior. Among those doing heavy lifting and little more was Magnus, the feline garbed in little more than a pair of raggy slacks, his chest bare as he carries wheelbarrows of rubble out of the structure. Organizing it all seems to be someone else entirely, a beaver of all things! Short fella, male, wearing a bright yellow hard hat, leaned over a table with some blueprints scattered all over. Perhaps he was the one to report to...

Though Lap was in little condition to be out in the field, her belly massively pregnant and rounded, so big she couldn't reasonably be expected to carry it without help, her boss, Sasha, was quite clear that she was expected to help with the day's endeavors. So she enlisted the help of one of her squadmates, a well built minotaur herm who was more than capable of carrying the inflated husky. Breasts sloshing, milk leaking, belly squirming, she was quite the sight to behold as she was escorted through the construction yard, Lap giving her subordinate directions as she was carried. Coming up to the vertically challenged man in the hard hat, she whistled, "Hey, is this where we're supposed to be meeting?"

"It feels like it's been a while since I came back to the city," Edel murmurs to herself as she makes her way onto the construction site. Still, as a lifelong resident of Fairhaven, and an adept builder besides, she felt some sense of societal obligation to show up and assist with reconstruction efforts. Not begrudging, though, she liked this sort of work. Arriving at the table, the tanuki woman leans forward and pushes up her glasses as she looks over the document array. "What's the plan?"

Isabelle thought that her unique attributes could come in handy since she is over 30' tall and can carry many tons without breaking a sweat. She approaches the table to introduce herself to the others. "Hello", she booms as her voice echoes throughout the land. She reminds herself to use the inside voice.

Sasha heaves a sigh seeing SGT Lap out here, but honestly expected her to bring more of her squad out. "Well, I gess Tatiana and Luna need some people to handle the legwork." She says mostly to herself, wobbling around due to her own EXPANSIVE belly, so bloated with life she can't hope to button up her uniform, a stretchy undershit covering her breasts, but her belly wide and exposed for all to see... and bump into as most of her forward vision is consumed by it. Ears twisting a bit, sniffing around, she smiles and, instead of going over to the person in charge, waddles her way to Magnus instead, "Hey! You know, I prefer you as a little fennec if I'm being honest." She says to him, before trying to look around a bit, "Oh, who's in charge actually?" She asks, reaching into a rather large pouch on her belt, pulling out some carefully folded papers, "Offical documents from Chief Bruice Clawhouser, District Chief, Seventh District, authorising CPT Sasha to send a detachment from SBU/CI to assit K9, with the senior K9 officer in charge over the detachment." Seems, with her vision blocked so much, she hasn't even noticed the beaver yet. She flutters her wings a bit, seeming more like she's stretching them than anything else.

Moose swaggers through the construction site, the little bobs and bangles in his antlers clacking with his movement. The big cervine looks right at home on a construction site, maybe a little too clean. He makes his way to where the beaver is working. "Y'all looking for some muscle?" he asks, tugging at his full beard, "Heard you could use a hand. I got a little experience with building."

The report to come out and assist was a famiilar one to Poppy. While not a specific call, it was a much more broad... Come all who may assist. And well, that is what made her put her suit on in the morning! So with little more than a note of affirmation back towards the public call, Poppy had started to head out. A fair distance from home, after all! But, wandering on through the lower streets of Fairhaven, it became more and more abundantly clear just where this was happening. Looking across the decrepit building, she had to admit, why too! The lass's yellow jumpsuit wrapped about her, but a thicker sort of suit coated them. A heavy grey overcoat almost. They clanked as though they were made of metal as she walked on into the construction zone, a brief scanning gaze tossed across the crowd. Not many familiar faces... but ah! There they were. Looked like the foreman of the group! That, and the assembled group about the little beaver man certainly helped! A fair giant of a lass, a few people whom seemed ripe, and a few others... Curious! So, with little aplomb, she walked on over, a broad grin given back down to the small fellow. "Morning Mister! Poppy, at your service!"

"The plan?" the foreman, it seems, casts Edel a strange look. "Who are you? You're not one of my workers, oh dear oh dear, what are you talking abo-" He gets tapped on the shoulder and something is whispered into his ear by what appears to be his assistant, a lovely little fennec girl with vibrant green eyes and a light-reflective work jacket. "Oh, so we are." The beaver nods. "William Morrison, pleased to meet you, uhhh... all of you... it seems." the nervous male's fingers wiggle around for a moment as his eyes scan over the suddenly emerging crowd. Once Isabelle speaks up, both he, the fennec and a lot of the other workers are forced to cover their ears. "Good grief..." he'd sigh softly and clear his throat.

"Uhh, yes... wow, quite the turnout. I um..." he takes Edel by the shoulder and explains to her. "Right, I am not sure how to go about with this group but if you want to help, here's a copy of the plans. Several things need doing, the foundation is cracked and weathered, the soil beneath softened and causing tension on the foundation, we need to reinforce the terrain to within at least a depth of twenty feet beneath the entire building. Secondly, the support beams here... here... here... and here..." his finger dances over four individual points on the top-down prints of the building. "...need careful replacing, we are installing backup support struts as is, but it's taking a long time because the damn building might collapse if we are not careful, oh dear oh dear..." His fingers wiggle nervously. "That's it for now, at least that's what is critically important. Off with you now. Explain this to the newcomers. Shoo!" Nervous fella, wasn't he? "Speak with this one for what needs doing! Just DO be careful! Oh dear..." the beaver yells out to those addressing him, before burying his face back into his work, doing some sort of calculations it seems.

Magnus would be taking a big drink of water when he is approached by Sasha. "Hah, I like being a fennec too, but... I dunno. I have a lot of reasons to wear this body as of late." He casts a wink towards Sasha, then looks her over and clears his throat. "You uhhh... you gonna be okay?" His hand subtly pats his own belly, hinting towards the reason for his concerns about her. "What's this?" He'd ask, skimming the paperwork. "Tch... beurocracy." then sets them down near the foreman. "Let's get this done! Just uhhh... be real careful... eeespecially the big girl." Magnus casts a look up towards the kaiju. "Building is... pretty rocky right now. You wanna help though, there's a large cluster of heavy rebarb and rubble around the back, you could pluck and sweep that away in two minutes, I'd wager." Magnus calls out to Isabelle.

Lap was rested on the ground slowly and carefully by her subordinate. She wiggles a bit, resting on her belly as milk starts to bead from her nipples and honey drips from between her legs, a musk, barely noticable by most, wafting into the air from her. "Ah jeez, lifting things? Okay, butch, you get to work moving things, I'll see if I can't call in the rest of the troops to help you," she says, occupying herself by staring off into the distance as she focuses on her comm to make a call into her squad. She shakes her head and looks to the foreman. "You got any problems with me shifting a little dirt with my nanites?"

Edel raises her brow as she regards the nervous beaver. "Hm, I see... Right, then." She collects her copy of the blueprints and steps aside to look over the assortment of helpers that have arrived to... Well, help. "I guess I have been delegated the task of delegation? Or at least explaining. So let's get this show on the road, huh? A solid foundation is important, so let's start with that. Myself, and anyone else with talent in earth nanomagic, I would put to the task of reinforcing the soil. Those that do not have earth nanomagic, I think would best be utilized by patching up the foundation itself. I'm sure they've got cement around here somewhere."

Isabelle nods and "walks" toward the back causing minor tremors. When she approach the pile of debris she proceeds to dig through the rocks and rebarb and stack them as one would gather sticks and pebbles in a garden. As she moves, her hyper-trophic muscles writhe under her skin and thin spandex like pythons, while her boobs, butt, balls, and dicks jiggle like crazy.

Sasha yelps and folds down her ears from the massive Kaiju's voice before shaking her head, and using a hairband to keep them folded down, despite how uncomfortable it looks. A lick of her lips, and Sasha does a few squats before taking hold of an empty wheelbarrow and lifting it clear off the ground, "I should be fine sweetie, assuming I'm not asked to hold up the whole building!" She says, smiling a moment, before her colors turn orange... then to hot pink! "I, mean, Officer, but thank you for your concern." She says, then looks to Edel, to William, "Right, I'll get to mixing it up and hauling it over, the instructions should be on the bag, right?" She asks before she start hunting for cement bags and water, cringing a bit at a memory, shivering as if someone stepped on her grave. A quick shake of the head and she continues her search.

Moose shifts his big, lit cigar across his mouth and shakes his head. "Damn," he swears, "Looks like I'm at the wrong kind of construction site. Don't know nothin bout this nono-magic stuff, and I ain't no giant monster." He swaggers up and lays a hand on the shoulder of the beaver foreman. "Hey there little man. You keep callin' for a deer, and here I am. Maybe you got something I can do for ya?" he drawls around his stogie with wide, flat teeth.

Taking a few steps back from the little badger man, Poppy would look over them, idly humming to herself. The first step is a goal! The goal was easy. Make the building less likely to just fall apart. Steps then! Foundation was buggered. Supports inside were a bit rough too! Repair options? She rubbed her chin, looking back up over the building. A small glance back down to herself would cause her to sigh. "No, a bit heavy for that. Shouldn't try to help the support teams. So... Foundation!" A bit of idle rambling aside, she'd flick her ears lookign back up at the large Tanuki before nodding. "Fair plan! Think I saw some around the side." Moving over to the side of the building, the Collie would hum to herself as she set about to work. Not particularly taxing, but hers was to lug the cement mix to and from the mixer. Not too difficult, twas even a bit of a chuckle offered as she did so! It felt... good to actually be able to assist like this. Helpful. She tried speaking with the rest of the crew, some of those ambling about, trying to assemble them. After all, this could be a new home for them, so best to do their best! But... well, they seemed to find it more amusing than helpful. Drat.
