The fair grounds have been reclaimed, for merely a day or two, by the goblins are quite nice actually. They're rather spacious, there are nice, clean tents with red and white strips running down them vertically. Strangely, perhaps, are the brass chimneys emerging from the tops of them, spewing woodsmoke. The whole area smells strongly of pine smoke and the smell of pumpkin. Incongruously, perhaps, is the lack of pumpkin based jack-o-lanterns, largely replaced by ones carved out of beets and turnips.

Overall, it appears to be quite... odd. Rather strange in and of itself. A mixture of what a steampunk cosplayer might imagine a festival to be around the turn of the last century, probably having confused it with a carnival, which is not usually the same thing, and what a folklore enthusiast might imagine this festival to appear as in their hypothetical age where folklore was all that provided the light of knowledge to those who lived in such times. Of course, this oddity is merely what might jump out at the group before taking into consideration the people that have come to populate this area.

As the group should have expected from the announcement, there are quite a lot of goblins around. About a quarter of them are clothed skimpily, another quarter have costumes on that seem to be pre-1700s peasant clothing(minus grime), another quarter have victorian apparel on, brass gadgets and doodads and all, not that the Victorians actually had all that many brass doodads, and the last quarter is wearing some fairly... maybe late 1800s costumes, probably more apropos to the Victorian era's halloween. There is a single person going around in what might be a fursuit, looking horrifically out of place, alternatively they're one of those plushie people, but Woodfield is fairly out of their natural habitat.

Once the group has gawked for a bit, the fursuiter approaches them and takes off their suit's head, revealing it to be Niles, the RSX officer who was involved in the last operation involving these two gangs. He looks less unhealthily thin when he's wearing a fursuit. He scowls at the group, practically erasing the possibility of snarky remarks on their behalf.

"Don't fucking judge me for this." He says, "Anyway, this is actually probably going to go great, so feel free to partake in the festivities, don't fuck up Heinrich's reconciliation with Margaret. That's it. It's a fucking festival. Enjoy yourselves agents, you've probably earned it." With this remarkably ambiguous tone set, he puts his fursuit head back on and returns to wandering around the festival, the most notable effect of this being the cause of several strange glances.

One of the skimpily clad goblin girls walks over to Escherr, "Hey, it's good to see you here." She looks sheepish as she seems to realize something, "Oh, I don't think I know your name. Anyway, I don't suppose that you might be up for some fun?" She does not appear to be asking the group, only Escherr.

There's a vendor selling popcorn out of a red glass and wood cart, the wheel of which appears iffy. There's a tent with a meticulously written sign that reads 'BAR', somehow you get the impression that it was a feat of mechanical engineering to get the letters to look that fine.

RSX's lobby is empty as it normally is, there's an aide, a younger looking man with a fairly plain dress and face, sitting by a few folding chairs, all of which have had their cushioning either worn away, or never had any to begin with. The aide is waiting for the agents to show up. He is tapping his pen on his clipboard.

Wurtzite enters the lobby and sits down off to the side, not really intending to be a center of attention. Hir tails waving around behind hir a bit anxiously, the aide seems peeved at hir for not checking in with him, but does not get up or otherwise react to hir presence, other than by writing something on his clipboard.

Escherr got the call for another job. Already familar with the two groups involved he felt that it would be a good idea to be around just in case. Adjusting his form to what they knew him as, if they could remember after all the booze or acid that is. The pscyho weasel even took some time to dress up and paint up that jacket into a suit like look with rolled up sleeved and a painted on tie. Once confident that lookd good enough moved on to the RSX lobby to check in. Seeming to be early once again as looked around and made a bit of an annoucment. "No Niles?" Questioning the aid some but following up with proper information. "Escherr. Was in the previous mission with the goblins."

Ebreus hops off the chopper and makes his way acrost the lobby, now a bit shorter and less imposing than he was last time he was here for a job, to the RSX employee. In his old clothes, a trench coat and button-up potentially with something beneath it and leggins, he looks much like he did many months past other than being a Doberman. Seeing Escherr, Wurtzite, and the unfamiliar employee he says, "Hey, seems I'm not last to arrive this time." as he aproaches and upon reaching normal speaking distance to the group continues, "Ebreus, Prommie Negotiator, I was also with the last group."

Having finally found the RSX lobby, Zixis strides in, all four legs almost tip-toeing, glancing at every wall and doorway. Shi rarely visits RSX, so the building is somewhat a mystery to hir. Shi only came for the chance of meeting new strange allies, and what better way than a festival. Hoping shi was in the right spot, shi scanned the room, looking for anyone who seemed official. Eying who shi recognized as Wurtzite and other agents congregating, Zixis strode up to the aide, hoping there wasn't a dress code. "Hello, I'm Zixis. I'm here about some kind of diplomatic party?" Zixis shifts to the side of the room, awaiting affirmation, idly crossing hir arms, attempting some amount of decency.

The RSX building was one of the few places Phosphorus could truly call home, at least, for the time being. It was dangerous to anchor yourself to one location for too long, as she frequently chides herself, but this place did supply a steady stream of supplies, and that was always a solid plus. The panda enters the lobby floor from the stairs, arriving with naught but the noise of a muted rubber sole against a hard surface, approaching the aide with her typical stiff, yet rapid pace. "Operative Phosphorus, reporting in. I was on the last contact mission, though I appear to have served a purely defensive role," she says, glancing at the aide. "All should go peacefully this time, too, yeah?"

Arris enters the RSX lobby, looking left and right and noticing that a large group of people had already assembled. Well, large for the RSX lobby standards. Upon hearing the mention of a Halloween festival, the gator has come dressed in costume: hir tried and true Bowser getup from a previous costume party at the Sunshine Restaurant. Sie also spots Wurtzite, giving hir a pleasant smile and a handwave as sie passes by hir on the way towards the aide. "Arris. Uh, I heard there was a party here and came to check." Sie gives the aide a sheepish smile.

A small fennec enters the lobby, clearly uncomfortable. Seeing Zixis and Wurtzite, she waves to both. "Um.. Hi. I heard there was some sort of social event happening, so I came to check what was happening. I.. I'm Ciana, by the way.." She barely sticks her paw out, hoping for someone to shake it so she could dissapate into a corner.

"No Niles" The aide says, noting the presence of the weasel. with a checkmark on his clipboard, "You'll meet up with him later. Good to see a returning face though. RSX likes to encourage agents to participate in follow up missions, as they tend to understand more of it."

"Wow. A prommie." The aide says, sarcastically. Where do these RSX employees find their attitudes? The toilet store? " Good to see a returning face. Your weaselly friend can explain that if you need it." There's the scratch of the aide's pencil as he marks something about the Doberman.

"Good to see a new face, they're the lifeblood of RSXs' agent relations." The aide says, marking the 4 armed kitsune's presence, "There's no dress code, not for this mission at least." He looks at the kitsune again, "Besides," he adds with the first sign of a smile, "I'd hate to buy pants if I had that many legs."

"Wow. A fellow RSX employee. In the RSX building. That's rare." The aide's tone is completely flat in responding to the panda, maybe he's serious.

"Oh. Yeah sure. Its easy to forget that many diplomatic crises are actually also parties. Enjoy yourself." The aide offers.

"What? Why are you so anxious? This one is supposed to actually be easy. Don't hide here. We have a bunker for that." The aide tells Ciana, rather forcefully.

With everyone there, he stands up to make his announcement. "So. All of you that are here for the festival, follow me. Everyone else. I can't offer any kind of guidance." before starting out the door. Wurtzite shrugs and greets Zixis and Ciana before following the aide, who's currently holding the door open, to the bemusement of the guards.

Escherr finds a spot to lean against muttering a bit about liking the smoking aide far much better over the sterotype of one group better then the other. Seeing the rather nervous few speaks up a bit. "The goblins are pretty much easy going, you'll do fine. Is all about getting a few to hook up and what better way then a party. Jus be aware of what you are given." Having to smirk a bit and soon taking the que to follow.

Ebreus smiles as he sees the kitsune-taur aproach. "Hello Zixis." he says. The sound of movement from the stairs soon snags his attention and he glances over to see the Panda who had acompanied them on the previous goblin-mission. He waves a polite greating to them as he waits for the group to assemble. Upon hearing Arris' familiar voice his smile widens, not having any personal relation to hir but always enjoying the presence of the gator on missions... they're usually sucessful with a gator along. "Hi Arris, nice to be working with you again." he greets. His ears twitch when the name 'Ciana' is mentioned. His head imediently snaps to full attention on the Fennex, "Ah, so you're Ottos... pet. Nice to finally meet you Ciana." he says as he extends a hand to the small fox.

Ebreus rolls his eyes at the agents sarcastic attitude toward him... he never liked the sarcasum their employees showed him even in light of the contributions he's made to their organization but it was just sarcasum, nothing to go off on him about. He takes a breath and says, "So, are we to head to the Orrey or the Fey for the festival or is there a neutral location it is happening in?"

"Hi there!" Zixis says cheerfully, mostly towards the doberman, but also as a passing greetings towards the whole group. Happy to have found the right place, Zixis' stature becomes much more relaxed. Following direction, Zixis doesn't wait for replies and heads outside, eager to get underway, but not before turning to give the group a quadruple thumbs up. Wondering what impression that gave the agents shi didn't recognize, shi steps outside as to not keep the aide waiting. Feeling the wind on this clear-sky evening was invigorating, and only heightened hir already great mood.

Phos offers the aide a raised eyebrow, and naught else, strongly exercising her poker face. She also offers Ebreus a polite nod in return to the greeting, though followed by no words. Despite that, she follows up behind the group, patiently waiting as everyone files through the door and goes outside and disperses and etcetera. The cool air is certainly welcome to her thick fur, though she's long since become somewhat desensitized to the weather. More nanite fuckery, probably, as usual. "It's always parties..."

Upon being greeted, Arris draws hir attention away from the aide and Wurtzite towards Ebreus. "Oh, hi, Ebreus. S'been a bit of a long time since we last saw each other, I think." Sie pauses a moment upon hearing the word 'working'. "...work? Aw, nuts, don't tell me I just got tricked into doing a mission for RSX or anything. I can't say I'm feeling up to that kind of stuff today." Sie lets off a sheepish laugh, adjusting hir bikini a little.

Hearing her name, Ciana looks towards Ebreus. "Um.. Hi. I'm Master Ottie's pet, yes. I'm trying to get out a bit more, you know, meet more people and the like." She stops for a second, before continuing with her words, laughing sheepishly. "But, obviously, it.. it isn't working. Heh.. heh.."

The aide answers Ebreus without any sarcasm this time, maybe he was an asshole because he was bored, "There's a fairgrounds in an empty lot south of here a bit. It's not quite in either gang's territory. The Goblins have taken the area and pushed all of the opposing groups out of the way."

The rest of the group should probably find other things to do.

There's a vendor selling popcorn out of a red glass and wood cart, the wheel of which appears iffy. There's a tent with a meticulously written sign that reads 'BAR', somehow you get the impression that it was a feat of mechanical engineering to get the letters to look that fine.

There's a tent with a sign, in remarkably horrible handwriting, 'Sex'. It does take a special sort of person to wonder what that means.
