Botting: Using client side triggers, timers, or other tools to play the game when you're not there.

Botting was disallowed, but as of 6/11/2012, this has changed. If you are going to bot, type botmode on.

Botting comes down to using triggers, timers, or both for the purpose of engaging in combat, be it through moving or searching. Being AFK while doing either of this requires botmode to be on (though in general, staff prefers having it on in such a case even if you're at the keyboard). Things that are not considered botting: After-combat scripts (for the purpose of buffs/using summons), scripts that permit others to boss you around. Basically, if you are engaging in combat automatically though some method without input from any of the players involved, it is best to be in botmode.

For more help, see botmode.

While botmode is on, combat will proceed slower, but you are permitted to bot as long as you desire. This allows those who prefer to bot to do so, without being a drain on the system resources for those who are actively playing the game.

It is against the terms of service to bot without botmode on. Please don't do that.
