It is 4 pm. The time stated on the flyer. And the sushi bar has been busy preparing for the concert. From the show kitchen a delicious smell of fried meat, noodles, fish, rice and other japanese snacks wafted towards the seats, which have been set up, facing a small wooden stage, set up in the corner, along with speakers and other electronics. Some space has been freed up for larger mutants as well, as was a space for those wanting to dance along to the music. The bartender prepared for thirsty guests as well with a big assortment of drinks.

A lone technician with a sportscap was on the stage, a husky, checking the equipment a last time, while the guests began arriving. The 'star' of the show was nowehere to be seen as of now. The husky then gave a thumbs up to someone at the side, and hurried away from the stage, leaving it empty for the moment.

It was a wonderful cloudless afternoon in the city of Fairhaven, and for one happy-go-lucky otter, it would be a fun-filled day of entertainment and joy! On this day he would conclude his patrols early, drop off his heavy armor and most of his armaments, don a nice light ensemble consisting of a light blue shirt, dark blue knee-length shorts and a pair of runner's shoes to cover his webbed otter toes. How odd, an otter wearing shoes...

Once Otto arrives, he does so with company! With a kick in his step and a smile on his face, the otter was accompanied by his guest of the afternoon, a keagle fellow whom he gripped by the paw and politely escorted towards the sushi bar. "Hi hi!" the bubbly otter greets the service staff once he arrives, waves the chef over and confirms that the payment had been made to service the guests of the evening. Once that was done and all was cleared, he turns towards his keagle friend, grips his other paw as well and leans in to peck his cheek. "Looks like we're a little early. Thanks for coming, Niles." he coost softly and nuzzles the avian~

Firecracker arrives on the scene! After dropping off her flier/ticket at the door, the pint-sized pink pegasus zips into the room for a look about! "Oooo! Lotsa fancy stuff in here!" she says aloud, mostly to herself, as she inspects the various decorations and mechanical doohickeys in the room. It doesn't take long for the pony to sniff out the food and dash right on over to the bar for a feeding! "Hiya peoples!" she greets the otter, keagle, and kitsune chef already there. "Ready for a lotta fun?! Cause I'm always ready for a lotta fun! And food! Food is yummy for my tummy and your tummy too! Fun and food for everyone!" she shouts out happily.

Not a cloud was found in the sky, shining down with mid afternoon light upon those that had taken a flyer to heart and traveled to its light. The promise of a loud venue wasn't particularly on the lineup for a particular fennec, but the promise of people and a revelry and escape... That was more than enough to draw her gaze. A slow and careful pace took her to the venue, far out of the way from her normal travels! Speakers and benches seemed to have sprung up in an ordered manner as she drew near, a drastic departure from its normal tone. Yet, she knew not that. Only that with her black sundress felt... thin still. Comfortable, but still thin. Hair braided down behind her, blending almost seamlessly into her fur, she looked over the occupants with a slight attempt of a smile.

A few already gathered, an otter to the side that held a disturbingly familiar scent... A keagle that sent a shiver down her spine. She spent a few moments held there breathing, reminding herself. She was here for fun. To enjoy herself. To relax. And... a zipping pegasus. A familiar one at that. A slight raise of her hand was given in wave, feet carrying her to the sushi bar, "Heh, glad to see you up and so spry Firecracker. Don't have to ask if you're ready for this shindig." Shooting a wink their way as she surveyed the provided dishes, she paused. Glancing back... that was why the keagle was familiar. "Evening... Niles. And...?" A step closer to the pair, a frown crossing her muzzle. She knew that scent. She was certain. "... Otto?"

Niles came in with Otto, looking around and looking nervous, especially since he was sans pants for the evening. The keagle shape wasn't conductive to them, so he'd have to rely on physiology and feathers to keep things hidden. So long as he didn't get aroused, things would be fine. That confidence is dashed when Otto takes his other paw and kisses his cheek. He blushes and looks to the floor with a nervous smile. "Heh, thanks for inviting me." He says, nuzzling back. "I... don't get out a whole lot." He flinches and stares at the small pony assaulting his ears. He straightens up a bit when he sees Mokou and gives her a friendly nod. "Hey there, Mokou." He says before moving to press his body against Otto's, getting close to his escort for the evening.

A saber-toothed sound engineer in red lounge attire had just finished setting up off to the side of the stage in the midst of the sound equipment while the technician performed his last-minute check. The feline perched on a wooden stool enjoying some fishy dish or another, surveying the gathering crowd with a proud smile. Once the technician had given the all-clear, Myung closed his eyes and focused. A gentle, atmospheric melody fills the air, warming up the crowd a little while they waited for the performer to arrive, one eye cracking open to glance around the room in search of the pink parrot - where was he, anyway?

A few other people also came, interested in the event, some just tagging along, seeing what the commotion was all about. The music filled the room, and made the waiting easier. The chairs and benches filled up with people, all anxious seeing that self-proclaimed idol in his first appearance.

However, the parrot was not yet coming out. Nathey sat at a space behind the stage, build extra for jumping out at a dramatic moment. Or so he would like to believe. He glanced in between two of the wooden planks, seeing all the faces out there. He breathed in, calming himself. Yeah, he hoped that people would come...but he never imagined drawing such a crowd. It was too late now...and he was as raedy as he could be. No more hesitation, he thought to himself, and gave a staff member of the sushi bar a sign. With that, all the lights in the establishment went out, also a sign for the 'musician' to begin the first track, something they agreed on would be best for an opening act. The music began playing, an energetic mix between piano, synthesizer, electric guitar and other instruments. And then, a spotlight went on, shining directly on the stage, and in the middle, a creamy pink parrot. Nathey wore a costume, a silver dress, and silver antennae on his head. he looked like trying to pose as an alien, while the dress was made to resemble an UFO as many people would probably imagine it. And then he sang, although it was really hard to identify his voice as a male...it sounded far too girly, and his appearance didn't help that either. But the show finally stzarted, and The avian was simply glad. After all, there was no turning back now, and the biggest obstacle was passed. He smiled, as he danced and sung his song.

"I know you don't silly. That's why I insisted on bringing you. You need to get out more." Otto muses and tightens his grip around his partner's hands, his golden gaze locked onto the keagle's own. The peace would not last long, or so it would seem. Soon, people started to pour in, though one agent in particular drew Otto's attention almost instantly.

The otter's eyes zip around after Firecracker, a soft giggle parting his lips once she starts up her antics again. Hyper and bombastic as always, so it would seem, though one might wonder if it was a good idea to have her near so much sensitive equipment. The otter spots the next newcomer, a lovely little fennec that he knew by sight, scent and sound. "Mokou!" Otto exclaims loudly, almost squealing as he identifies her on the spot. There was no other fennec around that carried herself with such grace and beauty after all!

Parting from Niles, the otter rushes right in and wraps his arms around her, his hefty tail wagging instinctually behind him! "Oh my goodness, I did not expect to see you here this evening, but it's wonderful! Here to enjoy the music and some sushi, yes?" he chirrups enthusiastically, then releases her and sighs lightly. "Oh...OH! Right..." the otter tucks his tail in over his left side and fiddles with its tip once it meets his paws. "I uhhh, donned a new infection, one less hmmm... menacing. I figured I'd go around like so. My armor was designed for this size anyway." he giggles, then takes a few steps back to Niles and grabs his hand once more, a soft sigh of approval parting his lips once the wonderful keagle leans into him. Wrapping an arm around his back, Otto holds him there and lets the moment be~ The music soon started around them, and Otto looked all the more excited as a result. "I think it's starting!" he exclaims, then turns towards the stage, expecting to see Nathe any moment now. Soon, the show had started and with the star on-scene, Otto's ears flick upwards once the energetic beat starts up. His body instinctively reacts to the rhythm, one foot starting to tap the ground as he closes his eyes for a moment and enjoys the music. He soon opens them up again and flashes a smile at both Mokou and Niles~

Niles squeezes Otto's hand back and smiles as he looks into his eyes. When the otter parts to greet Mokou he blinks in confusion and follows him. "Oh, uh, so you two know each other?" He asks before giggling as well. "Well, I like it at least." He says as he lets a hand rest on Otto's rear. He coos gently as the otter wraps an arm around him and nuzzles into his side. The keagle moves his hand up to wrap around Otto's lower back pulling him close to him in return. He blinks as the perfomer reveals... herself? They were very pretty at any rate. His body starts reacting to the music as well, head nodding and foot tapping. When Otto smiles at him, he smiles back, much more openly than the shy grins he'd been giving before. Either the music was opening him up, or being so close to Otto was relaxing him a bit.

"Ni, Toey, Mokky, and Firecracker!" Firecracker notes, pointing a forehoof at each person as she names them, including herself. "Hey but how'd you know that! Are you psycho or somethin'?" she asks the fennec before the lights go out, signaling the start of the show! "Oh! It's starting!" she says in barely-contained excitement, quickly gobbling a piece of vegetarian sushi up into her mouth and dashing over to the dance floor. With the upbeat, fast-paced tune, the pony has plenty to work with as she dances in the air at roughly average head level. Her wings beat and whole body bobs around to the rhythm as she shakes her rump about in her dancing, flipping and twisting about as she deems appropriate for the song. The pony seems to be quite an adept dancer, even in three dimensions!

Myung kicked the music on when given the cue, shooting Nathey a wide, joyful smile of encouragement. He kept quiet, though - well, quiet outside of the nanomagically-conjured composition. His claws clicked quietly off of the amplifier beside him to the rhythm, and he bobbed his head along.

A brief and stilted nod was given in return to Niles, the little fennec taking the moment to breath. "Good to see you too. Niles." Stiff and tense, but an attempt. She tried to pry her muzzle open into a smile to them. Yet, the exclamation drew her gaze and eyes, a voice familiar in its pace and timbre if, not perhaps the form that they wore. Wrapping her arms around the otter, reaching around further than she ever could before, she felt a warm giggle light from her muzzle. A slight squeeze was given as she felt that lengthy tail of hers sway out behind her! "Mhmm... I... I didn't think I would come for a bit myself! But, glad I did! Finding some people just... well... felt right today. Something about it..." As the Otter rambled on about his new form and armament, she gave a faint nod and snicker, playfully elbowing his side, looking him almost straight in the eye. "Figured that much out on my own thanks!" Watching him slink bac to Niles, she shot a them a warm smile before taking a faint step back, an arm falling to hold her other, a nod given. "Indeed we do Niles. Met... month ago almost..."

At the moment though, the lights began to dim, a slight roll of her eyes given as the pegasus ran about, moving to dance the moment the music started. Excitable little bundle of energy wrapped in a candy coating she was. Lifting her hand to her forehead, she tossed a slight salute to the couple before moving on to the side, a few rolls having found their way to her hands. A slight nod given to the sabertooth not a few feet far, before she paused and looked to the stage. Such a beauty upon the stage, singing and owning it in her own way... Heh...

Nathey danced and sang his song, twirling, clapping, making exaggerated hand gestures. The parrot was in his element. He was reminded of his training, and had to smile. He did it, he was on stage. He drew a crowd, and now he had to show everyone that he truly was the idol he said he was. A fire of confidence burned in his eyes, as the first song came to an end, and the lights of the room were once more lit, albeit in a much dimmer fashion. He breathed out, and bowed down, in front of the crowd. "Thank you everyone for coming today!" He said, excitedly. "I guess you know that by now, but I am Nathey, and I am the entertainer for this very concert. It's my first time though, but I will do my best so you all can have fun. Forget your worries at least today, smile, dance, eat and drink, this evening is for celebration, it is for the color you may have missed or lost in your time here. I want to bring the sunshine back to your hearts, and for that, I am giving it my all." The parrot introduced himself. While he did so, his clothes changed, into what could be seen as a sailor schoolgirl outfit. "The next song might be familiar to some of the folk born before P-Day." And with that, now in the somewhat better light for seeing everything, the avian began the next act, to the music of Hare Hare Yukai.

Otto tried to respond to Mokou, though his words ended up being drowned out by the music. He pouts a little once she takes her leave, but ultimately gives her a nod and a wave before they broke eye contact. His attention returns to the keagle at his side, and the music in the room. That rapid beat, energizing and overwhelming, in a way... The otter's motions don't stop at just tapping the ground with one foot, oh no. He had a partner for the evening after all, one he had to entertain, to show a good time, to enjoy something rare with. He leans into his partner and speaks into his ear "Shall we dance?" he asks, though expects no response. Wrapping his arms around the keagle, Otto lifts him off the ground, spins him around once, releases him the moment he strikes the ground and grips his paw to right him back up should he stumble.

Once Niles was on his feet, Otto lets the music claim his body, every motion a response to a beat, a note, any appropriate audible queue, perhaps not the most graceful of dancing, but the sashaying of his hips and bouncing of his frame spoke volumes of the joy Otto was experiencing. Like a sneaky snake he weaves his athletic swimmer's body around his partner, subtle combinations of pushes and grinding merging with the rhythm set by their fabulous singer cascading into a flurry of colors, sounds and sensations. All the while as their bodies met and parted repeatedly in the orderly chaos of motion, Otto maintained his gaze locked upon Niles' own, never parting save for when his back was turned during a spin or other such motion~

Niles closes his eyes and enjoys the music and the feeling of Otto's body against his. At the otter's invitation to dance, his eyes open. "Oh, um..." he says before squaking in surprise as he's lifted up. He stands there bashfully for a moment as Otto starts moving around him. He swallows nervously before he starts watching the otter. Soon, he starts mimicking his movements, tentatively at first, then eagerly until he's bouncing and swinging in time with the otter. Niles keeps his eyes locked onto Otto's as well, narrowing his reality to just him, his partner, and the music.

Firecracker dances right up until the first song ends, and during the introductory break dashes right back to the sushi bar to meet up with her new friend once more! "What'cha sittin' over here for, Mokky! You're s'posedta be dancing and having as much fun as ya can! Like them!" she notes as she lands on the countertop, pointing a foreleg to the otter and keagle. "Woo Nattie! Yay!" she cheers for the performer as the second song begins, and then starts to dance right where she is in front of the fennec, mirroring the dance from the anime, laughing and smiling brightly the whole time!

The little fennec spent a few moments gazing on up to the performer, her swaying motions and gestures bringing a chuckle to her lips. So this... is what a party was about was it? Some festive music, some dancing and dancing with abandon. She idly swallowed one of the sushi rolls, a quite rumble of contentment lost beneath the sound of the music. It was pleasant, a little bit chewy, but with a good chill to it, something that made her lick her fingers as it vanished. The fennec's gaze scanned the room again as the entertainer, one by the name of Nathey, began to perform and to dance into the next song. However, her attention was held up to the little pegasus that flew before her, gesturing and speaking. "P-perhaps I should." Following that gesture with her gaze... She felt her smile stick at the whirling dervish of the otter and keagle. Not quite familiar and not practiced, but passionate and happy they were.

"I... should." A faint smile played across that muzzle of hers, not quite reaching her eyes as she looked back to the little pegasus. "Al... alright. I'm here to enjoy myself. May as well start." Rising to her feet, she shot a glance over... that sabertooth so near drawing her attention with a slight nod. A slow step, towards, before stepping back, as she spent the moment in thought. To dance or- No. This was a time for action, not thought. Peering to the pegasus, she slowly tried to move to imitate. A cruel mockery of the dance, remanicient more of a flailing flounder than a dance. Yet, it brought a smile to her lips. She was... This was rediculous.

The avian on stage was lost in his music. No, he wasn't nervous anymore. Quite the opposite. Excitement bubbled out of him in the form of the lyrics. His voice full of energy, his legs carrying him with ease, as if on clouds. He looked at the people dancing along with him. Some quite good, some more awkward, but still with joy. He felt it. The joy, the moment of forgetting everything that happened, even if only for the time being. The parrot redoubled his efforts, not missing one step of his choreography, the words coming to him easily. But as with every song, this one had an end too. It was exhausting, but Nathey trained a long time for this. A little rest, a glass of water, and the costume he wore changed once more. Now wearing a bunny costume. And the next song came up. Those familiar with anime also knew this...or if they just wtached the show from the last dance, really.

Normally, it would take several shots of vodka and a little encouragement to convince the otter that he was a good dancer, but there was just something intoxicating about the atmosphere. Perhaps he simply enjoyed the lively beat, perhaps it was the company he kept, perhaps he felt something just staring off into his partner's eyes as they danced together that distracted him from his anxieties, or perhaps being an otter made him so giddy and energetic that he had forgotten them entirely. It was not certain, but whatever it was, Otto was loving it, and he was loving the contact with his dance partner as well, every brushing of their bodies a sweet caress that served to fire up his engine and keep his body grooving and moving to the beat!

He too found all his attention drawn to Niles, every motion, every moment centered around their joined performance, every swish of his tail and sway of his hips, every twirl of his frame and every swing of his arms meeting an equilibrium, a unique balance, a tandem that was difficult to describe with words. Tact for tact, shake for shake, the otter savored all the moments, all those little... emotions that came with self-expression through the noble art of the dance, even if he looked silly from a distance. His paws reached to grope and caress his partner every so often, the frisky otter shooting Niles a playful wink and a grin half-way into the act, before returning to the dance at-hand. Seeing an opening, the otter uses the sudden end of the song to pull Niles right in, wrap one arm around his back, spin him around once more and then lean him down. His eyes meet the keagle's own and Otto just dives right in for a quick kiss. His tongue spends but a few brief moments exploring his partner's maw before he pulls away at the first notes of the next song, and moments after Niles' would find himself back onto his feet~

Niles kept his body moving along with Otto's to the point where it looked like if the music cut out, the two would keep going propelled by each other. Despite everything, the music, the crowds, the pretty performer, his eyes stayed locked onto his partner. He giggles when Otto's hands get exploratory, and he mimics the otter's motions, getting up a good feel of his partner in return. His eyes lid at the otter's wink. He doesn't act surprised when the otter dips him, wrapping his arms around his partner's neck for support as he happily takes Otto's tongue into his mouth where they do a much more intimate dance. Once Otto lifts him back up and the music starts again, Niles' brings himself much closer to the otter as he starts dancing again until they're pratically sharing the same space.

"Yeah! Like that Mokky!" Firecracker happily giggles as she continues her dancing! Stomp stomp wiggle wiggle! The tiny pegasus dances along with the music for Mokou, showing her every step along the way while she copies her movements, perhaps not perfectly, but that's not really the point anyway! During the short break, the pegasus hops up onto the fennec's head to speak something into her ear quietly, finishing with a giggle shortly afterwards, then returning to the countertop for another quick snack before moving into the next song! Rather than dancing this time, the pegasus plops her rump down on the countertop as she chews a mouthful of sushi and lifts her forelegs up in front of her, swinging them around this way and that to the beat. The more enlightened or perceptive might notice that she's playing along perfectly to the drums!

Parthenia was fashionably late, as always. No, rather as usual... She arrived much earlier and was just waiting outside. Waiting for something, or someone. It sounded like there actually was music playing. Which was surprised. It wasn't often she got to hear music this days. Even what songs she've had stuck in her head from the past were slowly vanishing. Of Course, this stuff didn't sound anything like what she was used to. But this last song wasn't half bad. Taking another look around she lets out a sigh and decides to join the party.

Pregnant human soon enter the bar, all dressed up fancy. Silver heart hert on her neck. Terribly sweet perfume loiters following her steps. She've come to dance all alone... Seem like she was the only one of her kind. The only human around. Saddened by the fact she takes a breath and as her eyes linger on the guest and the performer for a little while longer, soon she was heading for the bar.

Music changed and grew, sound echoing and rolling out in the tiny dell, a bright spot of joy and happiness in the quiet dark that was the city. Vast fears still swallowed the slight fennec that was trying a mockery of a dance. But to fight them away with awkwardness, and to be rid of the terror that gripped her with the movements and quiet sway of her form... It did little. But that it managed something at all made her sigh and continue onward. Ears that were sharp and attentive drew that beat in, trying to ignore the pounding in her ears, how it resonated, how it echoed... Not a dance that she gave, but a slow movement. Foot slapping carefully at the beat...

Four. Four beats. Two divisions. Three measures as stanza. Base was set with four. The pace was one familiar, even if the song and words was unknown. Pop, it was once. The fennec let her eyes open spying those who were surveying, reveling in there own manner. Even as the tiny pegasus swung by, murmuring, she felt a sigh fall, a silent murmur given. Be happy. Focus on the song. Three key changes. Each a halfstep. The dance here was less formal. Less formulaic, less regulated. Instead, Mokou spent the dance with a slow shake of her head given, feet trying to find a way beneath her. A hand given up to an invisible stranger, her eyes locked closed at the song. A silent dance of a duet, feet seeming to find that pace they were looking for. Fast, forward and to the side, her hand forever held out to the invisible partner. Dance as though no-one was watching, right? Dance as though there was another. Imperfect steps carried her in the manner of the dance... Almost unaware of the world, were it not for the song.

Otto blinks and smirks a little once the gap between himself and Niles is closed once more, the eager keagle seeming to be getting quite into their little experience together. He giggles quietly and averts his eyes for a moment, then sighs lightly and lets his paws find their natural place, down his sides and onto his rear. There they rest, holding him against himself as the music plays on, thankfully the beat being more moderate compared to the previous songs. It was easier to keep close to Niles as a result, their dance turning out a mixed style of freeform and slow, the gap between them widening only so little before re-sealing.

Otto's eyes wander back to his partner's, his features slightly softened, eyelids half-down as he succumbs to the call of the music once more. The otter was starting to feel just a little lightheaded. He uses the opportunities presented to him when he'd poke his head over Niles' shoulder and hold him close like so to whisper into his ear "Having fun?" he asks with a cute giggle "Cause I sure am..." he adds, spins his partner around once and resumes their joined motions, the two finding it much easier to work with one another at this point, both bodies sharing a certain kind of bond that made possible the prediction of action. It was... mesmerizing.

Slowly, but surely, the music of the third song also faded, giving the feminine parrot another chance for a break. Yes, seeing them dancing just as he did, albeit not with studied choreography made his heart jump in joy. "I am seeing you all are having fun. And that makes me glad. Because what is life without it, right?" Nathey beamed. The bird looked around, and saw Parthenia. He cocked his head to the side, but then just shook it off. "I also want to take this opportunity to thank my manager, and the musical talent. Myung, thank you so much. He is the one that nudged me to do this, to follow my dream. Without his assistance, i wouldn't be standing here today. So, everyone, a big applause for the sabretooth!"

Niles coos softly as he feels Otto's hands move over his back. His own hands mimic his once more, though they stop at the lower back, pulling the otter as close to him as possible. He slows down with his partner as the dancing becomes something altogether intimate. His own features soften as well and he nods. "More than I've had in a long time, yeah." He coos. He stops moving with the music, but keeps his body close to Otto's, enjoying immensely the space they're sharing together.

Myung gives a meek smile and a small wave to the crowd, speaking up momentarily. "It was like pulling teeth getting this silly bird up here, folks. But more than worth the effort, am I right? I just play what I'm handed - composition, singing voice and rump-shaking provided by Nathey. Happy to see such a lively turnout."

Once the music stops, so does the otter reluctantly end the dance. Otto applauds loudly when prompted, and even throws in a few sharp and loud whistles for good measure. He then turns to his keagle partner and exchanges a few words with him. That done, the otter parts from him with a wide smile and pads towards Mokou. Dusting off his clothes, he nears the lovely fennec and clears his throat, then offers one paw. "Hey there Mokou. Care to join me for a dance?" he asks and quirks a brow at her.

Parthenia was pleasantly surprised to find out that the food, was apparently on the house. And same with the drinks? Well that made her day. If only she didn't have to hold back. Ifo nly she had the company she desired so. Alas. Perhaps next time. "Something strong." She ordered a drink, picked out a dish and was soon collecting an assortment of sushi to enjoy for the rest of the nice. She was making sure to get as many different kinds as they were. Perhaps she isn't going to be able to eat it all, but, she wasn't the one who's going to pay. Of course the request to applause was dismissed, for her hands were much too full. Besides, a particular otter was enthusiastic enough to cover for her. Finding herself a quiet spot some distance away from the stage she sits down to enjoy the food and the drink.

Sound may have faded as the song was sung, dimming down as the entertainer of this tiny venue gave a congragilatory shoutout. But to Mokou, the music had ended a stanza early. Her left leg swept back, a hand still risen to an invisible partner, her other holding the edge of her tail as a train that wasn't there. A dip of her head and a bow to her knee, at those final few lines, she rose. A deep breath, and her eyes slowly opened. A lovely lass on stage, a good managed who seemed to be happy for it... She gave a quiet clap, nodding to them. She... sung well. Unfamiliar, but the passion was clear. She even managed a slight chuckle at his words, tail slowly dipping to ground.

Moving back to where she had sat by the side, procuring one of those lovely rolls, she swiftly downed it, taking the brief respite to enjoy such a... treat really. Another, unfamiliar face found itself by her, taking in the free food with pleasant gusto, setting off on their own. Her eyes followed and it was there that a... familiarly unfamiliar otter found her. A warm smile played across her muzzle, an eye slowly rising at his words. A slight pause, her maw opening before she reached to that hand, "You... certain? Heh, looked like you were enjoying yourself after all."

Arris enters just as the applause begins, the gator glancing the room before discreetly taking hir seat over on one of the barstools. Sie gives similarly discreet nods to a few somewhat familliar faces - Parthenia, Otto, Schrodinger, before ordering a tray of Inari sushi and directing hir gaze over to the corner, at the parrot lady - uh, parrot gentleman? Their apparant gender doesn't seem obvious, but eh, whatever.

Nathey stood on the stage, just smiling down at the people, giving them all time to rest a little, eat a little something...drink a little liquid courage. But the parrot already got ready for his next act. His clothes changed once more, into something he was most familiar with. His normal set of clothes, still very worthy of looking like that of an idol. He breathed in and out, and motioned to Myung to start the next song.

Firecracker claps her forehooves together rapidly and enthusiastically as she cheers for performer and manager alike, ringing out tiny, sharp little clops as she applauds the both of them, and really everyone else in the room having fun. "Woohoo! Yay for fun stuff!" she shouts out in her high-pitched, bubbly little voice. With the pause between songs, the pegasus takes note of the dressed up woman sitting off by herself with tons of food! In order to remedy the situation, she flaps her way on over to land on the counter in front of her. "Hiya! I'm Firecracker! What's your name? What'cha get? And are ya havin' a lotta super duper fun?!" she asks, holding out a foreleg in greeting as she looks up to the woman, perhaps eyeing her food a bit as well.

Myung took his queue and sat up straight, quieting down to let Nathey do his thing. He flashed a brief smile and waved to the smattering of new arrivals, but kept to the back of the room and just enjoyed the show for the most part. He rolled up his sleeves and mimed out playing a keyboard - entirely theatrics, as would be painfully obvious to anyone who knew the first thing about piano, but he was enjoying himself and didn't mind looking like a fool. He closed his eyes and focused, just humming along and rocking his body back and forth.

"I was. But Niles needs a little break." Otto giggles quietly "And... besides." he pulls her right in once her paw meets his own, wraps one arm around her waist and leans in to whisper into her ear "T'is practically a crime for one so wonderful as you to be partnerless." Holding her soft form so close felt like embracing an angel, pure and irresistible in more ways that one could count. Slowly does the otter lean away and guide her away from the bar, back further into the open where their movements would go unimpeded.

Once the music started up, the otter lets his body move of its own accord first. Having had a taste of the dance already, it was a simple matter, a trivial task to just let the rhythm dictate his motions, unhindered by things as troublesome as anxiety. His feet tapped the ground as his tush swished to either side, head bobbing with the upbeat rhythm and the rest of him would follow. He easily weaved and moved in time with the music, the harmonious tempo dictating his motions, his paws a bit more reserved than they were with Niles, though he does let his fingers glide over Mokou's rear while his palms remained on her waist whenever he does find reason to pass over her form~

Parthenia couldn't help herself but to roll her eyes with the arrival of familiar pony. Again, her name, and her other name were bothe forgotten. May as well have some fun with it. "It's nice too meet you, Firecracker." She plucking a roll from the plate using the foreign cutlery namely chopsticks! She is quite skilled with those too. Must be one of them former fan girls! "My name is Lovely. And," She motion to the rich collection of sushi she have selected for herself. "A little bit of -everything-." She glances up at the ceiling, pondering the question of 'fun' as her lips part and the food is placed into her mouth. Of course it was previously submerged into the soy sauce, richly mixed with wassabi! The concoction was while she've had a few moment to herself. The roll is soon consumed and she nods thoughtfully. "I suppose I am having enough fun, yes. Yourself?" She must have been not being entirely honest as her face cringed a little when she saw the air-piano and how utterly inaccurately it was 'played'. Still, the music was there, the patrons were enjoying it and that is what mattered.

Arris recieves the sushi - bean curds filled with rice - and begins carefully eating them, one by one. Sie smiles, seeing the other agents dance happily. Life may not be as good as before, like sie was told, but there's still some ups and downs to it. Sie gives the bartender a wave. "Excuse me, do you have any kinds of drinks? Do you have any, uh, Nuku Cola?"

Steps over steps, motion over motion, NAthey never ceased the dancing and the singing. He danced, as his expression still showed the excitement of his first act. He was energetic still, and showed no sign of stopping.

And as the idol danced, so did a lot of the audience. Some were good at it, some not as much, but they didn't care. This event was so unlike everything they have experienced in a long time. Even the staff of the sushi bar got into it. the bartender flipping bottles, only being gentle with the fizzed stuff, as to not lose that bubbly charm. Arris got their drink, of course. Everything was planned. And the show, so thought Nathey, was a full success. And the bird couldn't be happier. Everyone was in a good mood...or at least in a better mood then normal.

His giggle was quiet, soft and comforting to Mokou as he pulled her close. A silent breath of hesitation passed between them as those hands wrapped about her, ears flicking at his words. Mocha eyes full of a a conflux of emotions turned to those warm eyes of his own, fulminous but of the quiet echo it indicated or the sharp flash, she did not share. Instead, she let a quiet shiver run across her form, as much gliding as walking with Otto out to the floor. Her hands wrapped about him, careful in the soft graze upon his shirt, slow and almost gentle. There was more to hold now, the frame not as lean as he had been before. It brought a touch of a smile to her lips, the darkness of worry lost from her brow for now. Instead, it was a patient, content almost bordering calm.

Mocha orbs gazed out back as the music began to play, and the performance was struck. Two and four. So four steps. Yet, this was not a formula or a world where one held all the cards. She felt her partner in the dance, tail gently swaying as the final tip of it twitched in time. He was smooth, svelte even now... The motions! The... motions were smooth, founded in the pace rather than strict... form. A crack of a grin played across to her, reservation clear. Yet with every step, every slide and interlude, she felt it seem... more natural. A sway to the side, a turn, a slight squeeze and caress... Her eyes looked to him... but fell away. Dance as though the world wasn't watching... But it was. A stumble, a muffled curse, and back into the thick of it. Focus. Look. Eyes peered back to him, her muzzle sliding close in a gentle nudge, nosing him as an all but silent phrase passed by as the song went on...

Firecracker replies to Parthenia with a bright smile. "Of course I am! I'm having a super lotta fun! There's lotsa food and lotsa songs and lotsa dancing and lotsa drinks and lotsa fun!" she chirps happily, bouncing in place with excitement as the music plays and Nathe sings. "Didja wanna dance? Cause dancing is a lot more fun than sitting!" She pauses a moment, mid bounce, before pondering to herself, "But eating is fun too... Oh! You can eat and then dance! Or maybe dance while you eat!" she proposes to the woman. "Do ya wanna do that, Lovely? Dance and eat or eat then dance?" she asks, bouncing in place to the beat of the music.

The otter's smile widens once he hears those soft words, a whisper in the wind, silent yet clear even over the loud and beautiful performance their host was gracing them with. He knew he was doing SOMETHING right, and whatever it was, he maintains the course and lets their bodies react naturally to the tempo. The otter remains silent, preferring to speak through his motions, expressing his joy and affection through touch and movement, a caress here, a swing there, sidestep, back, forth, sidestep, swish~ It was an intoxicating flurry of motion and emotion, a cocktail of joy and amusement, seasoned with just a little bit of affection and perhaps a sprinkle of lust.

As the music went on, Otto felt a new kind of elation for a moment. Troubles, worries, concerns, anxiety, they all meant nothing as he lost himself in the rhythm of the music, that sweet cascade of sound and color washing away everything that may weigh his spirit down, and for a moment there Otto had forgotten that such events were rare. He had forgotten all about the state of the world, the troubles of the people and his own. That wonderful moment when he had all the confidence in the world, fueled by the fires of joy and supplemented by the delight of having a dance partner so lovely.

Eventually though, he would snap back into reality, and recognize that he'd locked onto Mokou's mocha eyes all this while, her gaze easy to meet and her visage one of radiant beauty that just drew his attention in like a beacon. Perhaps the otter would spend the entire night like so, dancing it away like he'd never had the chance to do so before. He wouldn't have it any other way, though~

Parthenia did come here to listen to the music.. Well and to dance. It's just that her dance partner wasn't here. Maybe she was a bit too bimboed out and didn't get the hint. Or... Well, with her you could never know what happened. Here though, to cure her loneliness, to keep her a company was a pegasusususus. Always around when one feels down, always around when somebody needs help. Well, perhaps not always, but enough times! The woman looked annoyed, not at the pony though but rather at the one she wanted to spend this night with. Another sushi is soon devoured and she spins the chopsticks in her hand. "Not my type of music to be honest. But... I guess I could try it anyways." A hand is placed on her dome of a belly. "Can't really let loose though. Perhaps we could jump in at the next song?"

Ames Wanders into the sushi bar, Clearly very late for whatever was going on now, though he glances about now with some Interest, before taking a seat off to the side Sort of blinking and just.. Taking in what was going on now, his tail swishing a bit happily, even as he sort of glances at the crowd, seemingly trying to recognize anyone in the crowd now! It was a very lively energy in this place, he felt.

Niles had seated himself behind a barricade of various food stuffs as a defense against hunger. He wasn't familair with sushi so he just grabbed one of everything, determined to find something he liked, along with a black russian, which he new he liked. He ate slowly, testing every bite against his pallate. Once he was secure in his food, he began to nod along with the music again. His gaze went to Nathe on the stage and enjoyed her movements for a bit before falling to Otto and Mokou, finding that show much more enjoyable. He idly wondered why, as his gaze focused on the ottor.

Arris spots the newcomer, giving him a wave. Not really familliar with him, but would be nice to chat with someone presently. Sie gets up from hir seat and approaches, sitting down next to him. "Hi."

The music continued, for another hour or two, who really kept the time in mind, when everyone had so much fun. Song after song, sometimes a small break, so that even the very energetic parrot could get a little rest, and a drink, to wet his throat. Yes, one musical piece, accompanied by a dance. A bird in perpetual motion, using his feathers, and the nanomagic for his costumes to the fullest. He was an entertainer, and he wanted to show it to everyone. He wanted to give the people a way out, and right now, he felt like he succeeded.

But sadly, every act has come to an end eventually. And for today, now was the time. The music faded a last time, and the parrot took centerstage, waiting for everyone to calm down. "Thank you everyone. Thank you SO much. I felt fantastic up here, seeing all of you dance, and eat, and feel good. But sadly, my show has to come to an end for now." He glanced over the audience, seeing the couples that got together. "But I am sure some of you won't mind." He giggled cutely. Nathey got off the stage, and wandered into the middle. "But just because my act ends here, doesn't mean I will leave just yet. The party continues, even without my music. I hope all of you enjoyed the show! And I also hope you continue to support me in my future, even though it is still unknown!"

"Yeah! Next song is good! I'll dance enough for both of us until then!" Firecracker giggles as she wiggles atop the table. She bounces and shakes and twirls and spins with the music, dancing around on the tabletop with all the joy in her tiny body. "Somethin' wrong?" she asks the woman, not letting up on her dancing even as she converses. "Try a different one! Maybe that'll taste better! Or try to wash away the taste with a drink!"

Ames seems to think, And glances over to Arris as they approach. with a smile, The Kemonomimi nods to Arris. "Hello to you." He then sat up a little, crossing his arms. "I think I missed most of the show." he said, flicking his cat tail now.

Parthenia pinches the bridge of her nose with the chopsticks. The pony dancing on her table was putting on quite a show. It's not every day that she could see something this... Uh... Well, just THAT. It had no comparison really. At least she was now getting a personal performance in addition to the one on the stage. Though, it seemed the show was coming to an end and... The last song she was gonna dance to wasn't going to happen. Shame! She did indeed plan on remembering the good old days. Of course, back then she wasn't really dancing for fun. She did it, because her parents wanted to have the 'trophy child' that can be shown off to friends. Someone to be proud off. She grimaced again, crinkling her nose before her lips formed into a cute little 'o' as she heard the pony speak up. "Right..." She took another sushi and placed it into her mouth, following up with a drink and crinkling her nose yet again. She did order 'something strong'! "I guess I owe you a dance another time, Firecracker."

Myung smiles and applauds Nathe as he steps down from the stage, slumping back in his seat into a relaxed pose and letting the last few seconds of the song play out before falling silent. He hopped to his feet and strode over to grab himself another round of food and drink while he had the chance, hip-checking the bird on the way by and planting a quick peck on his cheek. "Great show. Not that I was expecting anything less, just... wow, wasn't expecting such a turnout."

Silence by means of music surrounded the two it seemed, lost amid the warmth of the music and atmosphere. Mokou felt herself offer a genuine smile to the partner of the dance, swaying and stepping and swinging in the feeling of unnatural ease. Expression exuberant save for in vocalizations, the venue mistress seemed to more than make up for her quiet, lost in the simplicity and delight such as it was. The world could have been a thousand miles distant, and to the fennec there would be nothing lost to the lass. Her mind, for once, mercifully quiet, simply echoed the music she heard, sounding and resounding in her. The music guided her step, her partner molding the choice, and the dance... a beautiful story of uncertainty and unrestrained delight told through motion.

Eyes met a pair that seemed so familiar, the mind behind them yet still a mystery. Lost amid the whirlwind of the music, time did not seem a constraint. Affection in those eyes shone back as song faded away, falling into another... and another. Every time a motion made to part, to let go... yet a slight step was taken, a chord struck and she was held again, enraptured in the music and dance. Finally though, she wound up before her partner of the dance, a soft smile granted as the music faded away. Nothingness followed, her eyes drifting only a scant few inches... spying another. An uncomfortable chuckle passed as she slowly withdrew her hands, one last caress given before she let her hands fall away. "P-pardon... didn't mean to keep you. Go..." A slight smile rose to her lips, eyes speaking of anything but as she nodded to the side, Niles distant. "You're date awaits...." The fennec looked only just to them, a touch of a sigh given as she leaned in, a parting kiss to his cheek given... Silent words passed by as she parted, tail slowly swaying about her, wrapping as though a shawl. "Enjoy yourselves."

Arris chuckles, leaning back in hir seat. "Yeeeeaaaah, you might've. No worries, I came pretty late as well and missed out on most of the singing. I bet at least someone here's drunk enough to get onto the stage themself and begin taking Nathey's place."

"Yeah...hehehe...I wasn't expecting this at all, either." The bird sat down on a chair, and the exhaustion settled in slightly. he looked around, at the peoples faces. At the pair that danced until the very last minute, at the enthusiastic pegasus, and at Parthenia...Not even sitting for a minute, Nathey got up again, wandering over to the human. "Hey there, Parthenia." He said, sitting down besides her. "Never guessed that of all people it would be YOU that finds her way here."

Otto blinked a few times once Mokou pulls away. He opens his maw to ask if something was wrong, but quickly seals it back up. His glance wanders back over to Niles, a smile tugging at his lips from seeing his date there, waiting patiently. He giggles quietly once he feels that peck on his cheek, glance tracing Mokou as she wanders off. Eventually, he does manage to rip his gaze from her svelte, curvaceous form, and lock it back onto Niles. He gives the avian a quick nod, before moving in at a quick step right towards their star of the evening, Nathe! The otter wraps his arms around the lovely parrot and gives him a squeeze, "Thank you for the lovely evening! You're truly a shining star! I look forward to your next appearance." he exclaims giddily, tail wagging behind him, before releasing their star. Otto reaches into his pocket and pulls out two things, a pencil and a notepad. "If it's not too much trouble, an autograph?" he asks, starryeyed as he looks up to their performer.

Ames blinks a little, and glances over at the mention of the name 'parthenia' And stands up to look at the human. He stood up on his tip-toes and waves a little at Her, before looking back to Arris and grinning. "Yeah, I sure hope so. If not, I suppose I could just mingle or something~!" The feminine Kemonomimi giggles a bit, and shrugs!

"Ooooooh! You're name's Parthy!" Firecracker says, giggling as if finally understanding a joke, "You're right! That is a lovely name! Hehehehe!" Looking over to the performer, she continues, "And hiya, Nattie! Good job with the singing and the dancing and the eating and the drinking and everything! Now you're all done and gunna go around and say 'hiya' to everyone and get some snacks and stuff, huh?!" Just then, a rather star-struck otter shows up, giving NAthe the opportunity to do just that! "Oh! Are we s'posed to get those? I want one too!" she adds in, hopping up and down on the tabletop in excitement.

Arris glances over at Parthenia as Ames does, though hir gaze returns to the cat boy before his returns to hir. "Yeah, well, seems everyone else is gonna chat with each other, so why don't we talk some, hey? What's your name?"

Niles eats his food and drinks his drink as the songs go on, clapping after each one. He sits back once the set is complete, relaxing in the ensuing quiet. He catches Otto's eye and smiles as he checks out Mokou, he gives him a wink as his gaze goes back to his. He nods back and stands up, meeting his date over at Nathe and nodding at the praise. "Yeah, that was quite a show. Good picks, too. Heh, I... kinda forgot all that stuff existed." He says and looks down for a moment with a thoughtful expression. He presses his body against Otto's once again, cooing softly at the feel of his date against him.

"A-autographs? But it was only my first concert!" Nathey answered, a bit dumbfounded. But then he grinned. "Well, of course. What was I thinking? Who WOULDN'T want an autograph from such a cute bird like me." And then he wrote a rather...interesting signature on the notepad, and giving another one to Firecracker as well. "Oh, and thank you for the kind words. I had fun too, but..." he looked at Myung, and then down at himself. "Well, let's just say that who knows what the future brings, right? I need to sort out a few things first." He then said afterwards, looking back at Otto with a bright smile. "But a guy like me should get that kind of stuff done quickly."

Parthenia raised a brow. She must have been just as surprised to see the Idol himself come over to have a word with her, as Nathe was to see her at his show. The first thought, of course, was that he may be pissed. Perhaps he didn't want to see her? Perhaps she was eating too much? She glanced at the plate. Still a lot of food there. Corner of her lips curling up when the star speaks up. "Hey there, Nathy." She murmured teasingly. "I may despise the mutants, but, I do love music and... I haven't been to a concert in," Her lips purse, thick brow crawls up a little higher. "Ten? Maybe eleven years?" She took a swift sip of her drink, tongue flicks over her lips before she continues. "I love what you are doing here. And I hope you do this more often. Maybe even have real instruments at some point of time." She smirks, her nose raises arrogantly. "Would need to find someone who can actually play them though." She closed her eyes and nodded in gratitude. "Thank you very much for having me. I've had a wonderful time."

She was soon glancing at the pony. "You can keep calling me Lovely. I don't mind on-..." Before she could finish her table was starting to get swarmed! With the starcock fan boys and girls following. Seems like not only Otto had a bright idea to get one of the first signs from the rising star, but a few of the other patrons. Some of the local staff too! She she looked over the gathering she saw a flailing little arm, corners of her lips curling up in a grin and she waves back to Ames and his new friend.
