Mako

Mako is player-currency for various items not obtainable by gaining ingame currency. It can be paid for with real money or won by chance via +reward. It can also be earned by doing chores, such as writing monster entries, mission entries, or by submitting art.

Several things, such as private monsters, areas, character Dedications, and services such as removing perks are paid with in Mako.
