The chopper lands once more, a few agents for the Big Z jumping out and and are quick to set up a perimiter, in case the Foxes come back. The head agent addresses everyone as the blades stop turning, "Here we have a human hold out in the middle of an assult against the Packminds." Supplies are getting thin, and time short. We either need to get them out of here or, as they suggest, eliminate them all." The Wolfen Preditor continues, "Now, I know that sound impossible, that a packmind can't be completely destoryed, but that is your mission, evacuation or extermination. We will keep this point safe, if you need to fall back, fall back to the chopper! Any questions?"

Anwen blinks as the wind from the blades rushes down around her. She checks all of her equipment whilst listening attently to the mission information before nodding her understanding and waiting for her comrades to give her the go-ahead.

Alkain looks around at the scenery and frowns at the agent who speaks, "I really hope that isn't what they want..." he shrugs though and hmms, "We'll try to evacuate them though." as he checks his equipment before hopping off the chopper, "No questions here."

Eri slithers from the chopper with the most amused look on her face after having everyone literally forced to sit in her coils the entire trip due to her shear size. However the serpent merely unfolds her red tea shades and places them over her eyes and loads her massive black metal custom tommy gun. "Treat them like ferals, with rabies, keep your distance and stay out of sight." The serpent commands firmly. Before leaning over and whispering something into Alkain's ear. "Don't leave my sight."

Angus sighs as he steps out of the chopper, cringing as he could already feel the wolfmind clawing at his thoughts. "Lets just get this crap over with." He mutters, adjusting the strap of the duffle bag he his hanging of his right side. "The long we say here the bigger chance of someone getting their ass chewed then a bullet to the brain." Sighing he draws his revolver and cocks back the hammer, watching for the slightest movement to catch his attention.

Cardison shifts, trying to adjust her top for her recent increase in build. "So there's... three, right? And this is the only one you guys haven't already dealt with? So that means this is... Fox, right? Because you mentioned..." She looks between them, unsure if she should really say it out loud in the presence of hardcore agents. "Alright..." She checks her chainsword, frowning as it sputters. "As reliable as ever, at least."

Edel hops out of the helicopter and stretches. "Haven't been here in a while!" The goggles go down and her coat's hood goes up. "Let's hope they don't hate us for our absence, yes?" She taps a button or two on the scabbard of her sword and glances around before stepping up next to Card. "You're, uh, stripes."

The Wolfen Preditor nods, "No questions then, there if your objective, a few kliks north, move and and either get those humans to come back with us, or elimiate the fox packmind." And to the north is a courthouse, just within view. The same fortified stronghold from before, still standing and with... more guards?

Anwen Anwen looks to her team-mates and asks, "Who's taking charge of this expedition? I'm pretty new to this area and would appreciate some kind of chain of command."

Alkain's ear twitches at the whisper and he chuckles as he nods to Eri, "I'll try not to." he frowns as he looks around though, his own packmind nanites clawing at him as well, "Yes, the Fox mind is around here." he looks at Anwen and shrugs, "I'm not really the leading type."

"Kill anything that moves, and that isn't us or the humans. And if something bites you, well. That's it." That was all the advice Angus could really think of as he starts walking towards the courthouse, his migraine getting worse as the Wolfmind continues it's relentless assault to try and take back control. He hoped that they wouldn't have to encounter to much fox, but just in case he was ready as he pats the side of his duffle bag and smiles.

Cardison fusses with her mane a little. "Uh, well, I sort of had a disagreement with the requisitions guy and... He sort of weaponized some funnels against me." She shrugs, hefting her chainsword. "At least it makes lugging this lump around. So, uh, if you're trying to destroy the packminds, what happens to people who are infected? I mean... Do you plan on destroying them too?"

Eri peers up to preditor. "Where do we take people when we have them and how much fire power do you have on that chopper. I don't want to lose anyone for this, not for those people in the fortress or for Zephyr. And we'll need a distraction once we start moving them." The serpent yelled.

As the Coyote approches a few weapons are leveled at him, "From Cali or Washington? You don't look like a Fox!" One of the male humans say. The watch circles about again to make sure that there are no Fox about before the gate is openned, "We've been doing some research, and we think we have a way to kill them all, every Fox in this damned valley." he says, ushering him in

The Wolven Preditor smiles and points to some rocket launcers, grenades, and no shortage of ak-47's shotguns and other weapons, "Just bring a rep back here and we will arrange transport for them" he says.

Edel props an arm on the hilt of her sword. "Huh. I think I liked the skunk-you better, but not bad! Looks nice with the outfit." She looks to the group at large. "Shall we get going, then? The less time we spend here the better!"

Alkain pads towards the courthouse when Angus starts towards it and hmms at the guards, "We're from Cali." he looks at the guard who ushers them in and frowns, he isn't sure that's such a good idea but isn't going to voice it just yet

Angus rolls his eyes. "Do I look like a damn fox to you? I'm a Coyote!" Muttering he allows them to user him insides, and he takes a look around. "So, whats the situation. And why are you guys squating here in this hell hole?" He was definitly not in the mood for nice, especially considering this damn migrain. ...The Wolfmind was getting worse...

Cardison snickers. "Well, I'm still black and white." Falling into step behind the others, she gazes down her long muzzle at one of the guards. Like, really closely. -Really- closely. "They don't look different... I mean, they're still as... human as anyone." She rolls her shoulders, trying to get her jacket to fit right. "I guess I don't know what I was expecting, though." Straightening up, she looks between them. They seem awfully friendly for a group of guards who were just greeted by a group of people shouting about destroying them. "Uh, N-neither? Washington?"

Eri silently followed after Alkain, oddly enough just remaining none to far behind him at all rather then being behind everyone she was making people try and walk around her tail. Or perhaps she was merely rushing through the door. The serpent's Tompson ever ready in her arms. "So we just rush everyone through those doors?" she murmured quietly.

The human smiles "Good to see you back then, yes, lets go, we can finally be free of those damned foxes. Come down below, she will like to see you. We have been waiting, hoping you'd bring that lion with you again, but, I guess it couldn't be helped." A few guns are pointed at the more mutant looking people as they go, "Just don't let those.... instincts or whatever, get the better of you. We welcome you here to help us, but are aren't keen on being changed ourselves." A slight laugh for Eri and Cardison, "What state are you from? Which company? When we found out we weren't the only ones still sane, we got to talking."

Anwen feels the hair on the back of her neck stand on end. Her team-mates seem ill at ease and something doesn't feel quite right. She inspects the stranger but cannot detect any subterfuge in their manner.

Alkain grunts and growls slightly to himself as he enters the compound, shaking his head as he tries to quash the feelings that his nanites are giving him... Though he looks around curiously as he walks on and his stomach growls loudly, "I dunno, looks like they want to fight."

Edel rubs her head through the back of her hood. "We're from California. Well, some of us? Some of us might be from Washington or elsewhere. I, myself, am a Zephyr agent and from Fairhaven."

Eri peers over to whoever was asking the questions and merely replyed. "Japan, I came to California months ago... No company for me." She murmurs leaning over Alkain's shoulder and whispering. "What is wrong?"

Cardison clops behind the group nervously, feeling a bit underpowered. "Well, Oregon initially... But I guess California now?" She looks at the guards again. "So... These guys are on -our- side? I feel a bit better, then, but..." She scratches her head. "I'll stop asking questions. You guys know what's going on, I'll just follow you." She taps her chainsword on the floor, using it like a walking stick as the others enter the building.

Angus grits his teeth. "To be honest, I would not try and fight the packmind. Trust me, not a good idea." He didn't put his gun away as he followed the human, and even smiled sharply at his comment. "Trust me, my instincts are the least of your damn problems here."

Anwen me taps Angus on the shoulder and whispers, "should we stress that we're on the clock here? I'm not psychic or anything but I feel like the sooner we get the hell out of here the better I'll feel for it."

As the group gets into the gates completey they are closed. The human was just leading them down toward the inner halls when a loud warning issues through the compound! "We're under attack! Fox is here! We being attacked!" shout the guards from the tops of the courthouse! Weapons fire starts, explosions, more and more humans rush outside with verious arms to handle the situation!

Alkain hmms? at Eri and shakes his head, "Just..." he looks to the others and whispers back to the snake before looking to Carison with a surprised blink, "Oh? Well, what do you know. So am I." he chuckles a little before the attack starts, he grunts and winces as pain lances through him, "AGH! Damn it." as he stumbles and grips the wall

Angus and turns to Anwen. "I wish it was that simple, some people are just stubborn as all hell." Intresting comment from the thickheaded Coyote. When the call of goes out that they are under attack his head swivel. "Dammit..Fall back to the..Gah, fuck!" Growling he stumbles, really hating packminds at the moment as he finally manages to get back to his feet. "Shit....how the hell did they know?"

Edel glances back towards the gates, blinking. "Wow, already? That was fast." She slings the rifle from her back and frowns. "At least we're inside the gates, this time!"

Anwen turns sharply to find the source of the gunfire. "Tell me where you need me!", she yells whilst gripping the shaft of her broom. She feels her heart beat faster and hopes that her creeping unease is not too evident.

Eri peers over to whoever was asking the questions and merely replyed. "Japan, I came to California months ago... No company for me." She murmurs leaning over Alkain's shoulder and whispering. "What is wrong?"

Cardison jumps at the alarms, spinning around and holding her chainsword in front of her. "From - from outside, right ? We're protecting... what's inside?" She backs through the gate, scanning the area for any signs of attackers. Her chain sword gives a weak churn of a rev. "Or are we trying to keep what's in contained?"

Eri instantly graps Alkain in her arms and lifts him up. "That isn't ever made by lack of food." The serpent remarks, carrying Alkain in her arms. "What is the matter, what do you need Alkain." The serpent stresses. "It doesn't look like we might be able to go back out the way we came. Someone check if we can make a run for the chopper. That wolf must have a plan to get all these people out of here, there is no way we can fight off the packmind without getting rid of of their nearest source first. So fighting them all off is not an option." She snaps

The Foxes are contained easily outside the gates, being tended to easily it seems, very easily. A shot, and other one goops, a few more rounds and a few more are gone. A grenade and more take to the gooping, the situation is mopped up gradually, "Humms, they have been attacking less and less, our raiding parties are doing better and better as well! Maybe we won't need our secret weapon afterall." he says and turns back to the building, "Come along, seems the standard guard have this under control."

Anwen sees the retreating foxes and blurts, "Wait, that's it? I thought we were dealing with an army?" She relaxes visibly and asks, "Can we expect a more siz... Secret weapon?!"

Alkain shakes his head at Eri as she picks him up and grumbles, "Put me down..." he looks to where the foxes are, even if they are outside and growls, "Stop... Go away..." he sounds quite in pain as he winces with each gooping, "Owww..." as he tries to push the pain away as he picks something up from the conversation, "No, don't... Don't fight them, run..."

Edel offers a little shrug as she resumes following others further into the compound. "At least it wasn't a problem, this time, yeah? Could've been worse, certainly." She adjusts her goggles a little and sniffs at the air before looking to Card. "We're protecting what's in here with us. Fighting off the foxes on the outside."

Cardison stares at the... Mess. Her white fur almost seems to pale further as she gulps. "Oh, god. They just... Fall apart, into-" She stops, stomach twisting in knots as another goes down. "I need to get inside, I can-I can't watch this." Squirming her way past the others, she puts as many living bodies as she can between her and the carnage outside. "So the foxes are the bad guys? I thought the Wolfmind was, since they were the violently forward one? Or do I have it backwards?"

Eri gives Alkain a quiet stare as she slowly puts him down, though she leans over and whispers something into his ear. Before sitting up right with one hand on the bolt of her gun and the other two on the gun's grips.

"Bunch of idiots." mutters Angus as he turns around and follows everyone else, trying very hard to ignore his migrane as he watches Ictus. "Take a deep breath, block it out." He comments, before he turns to Edel. "Not really, all we really managed to do is bloddy their nose. In here we are just an all you can eat buffy once they break through."

The foxes look over as Alkain speeks and quickly retreat! The humans look startled and look back to everyone as they are led back into the building and down some stairs. "You know, there are less and less of them, and they are getting easier and easier to control. But the Justice will see you now." he says motioning to a wide set of double doors.

Alkain looks to Angus as he focuses on blocking it out with a nod and grunts as he is set down, "They just want their hunting grounds back... They think you are invaders..." he looks to Eri as that probably answers her question and winces with a nod, "No... At least, I don't think that's what they said last I saw them." he sighs as the foxes back off and shakes his head before he nods to the guard

Edel scratches her chin as she regards Cardison. "That's a pretty good question. The wolfmind are exceptionally awful. The foxmind don't like the wolves, and they're not as bad... But they're still packmind, all the same." A frowns is given to Angus. "You think so? I mean, if they broke in we could probably still take them out, don't you think? Superior firepower and all that, along with closed in passageways to bottleneck them with." She turns to step through the doors.

Angus stoping he sighs, and rubs at his temples. "Your correct miss..." He comments to Cardison. "The Wolfmind is the most dangerous, which is why I have to leave." Turning around he waves to them all. "Sorry, but as much as I would like to stay. I also do not want to start consuming people. Good luck." With that he walks back towards the front gate, and out to the Chopper as he waits to leave.

Cardison tilts her head, looking a little healthier as the guards give her something else to think about. "Fox might be losing the battle, then... Which would leave the sort of neutral Coyote and the aggressive Wolf, right? I mean... That's... Actually sort of bad, right? Fox was the least aggressive of the three from what I'd understood, so if there was anything we might be able to live with..." She eyes Edel for a moment. "You're packmind too, though. So what does that mean about you?"

Anwen Shouts after Angus, "Wait! Won't you draw them to the chopper?"

Eri tosses her gun unto her shoulder before sighing in relief, then leaning over and lifting Alkain to his feet and kissing his forehead. "Come on, we don't have much time." She murmurs to the fox, giving one last short hug before she slithers for the dual doors.

Edel tilts her head and peers at Card. "Hmm. I'm not really sure, Card! I'm not... I'm not sure how to describe it. I broke away from it, so I'm not like... The mass you saw out there. I'm no expert on packminds, but I should be fine, regardless of what the future brings! But yes, Foxmind does seem to be losing."

As the doors are openned, an impressive and oppressive figure is seen. A justice in robes standing there, "Are they back Tom? Took them long enough! We have been waiting for you all. What do you offer us now? Before we were asking for your help, but now, we think we have this mostly under control. But, trade with you all would be good, and some help finishing up the last." She says and listens to Alkain, "These are OUR lands, we were just refugees here, barely surviving, here in this city we found lots of stocks and supplies, we are going to reclaim it for us! Those foxes can all DIE." she says and pounds her gavel.

Alkain nods to Edel and frowns as Angus leaves for the chopper, he hmms? at Eri as she helps him up and smiles, "Thanks..." though his stomach growls again as he shakes his head, "Damn packminds..." he looks to Edel again as she speaks and frowns, "I think... I think they just want their land back." he blinks at the justice and frowns heavily, "Why can't you make peace with them? Sure, they aren't human anymore... But neither are we."

Anwen steps forward and clears her throat. "Listen, your honor, I'm totally impressed by your resolve but from what we can tell things are about to get much, much worse." She looks around at her compatriots for moral support.

Cardison looks less sure than Anwen. "Well, if the Foxmind goes, it'll most likely be replaced by one of the other two, so... I'm inclined to agree? But I think I have the least experience here." She looks back the way they came. "If you could just... find a way to deter it from attacking..."

Edel slips her rifle onto her back and thrusts her hands into her coat pockets. "If we could drive them off without killing them, that would indeed be preferable. Needless violence is the worst kind."

Eri drapes her arms around Alkain's shoulders as she loosely coils around just his feet. "Our job is to get everyone out of here, or destroy the packmind somehow, which means we'll need all the Cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine we can get our hands on and remote control tracked vehicles but that won't work forever. Unless you can make a pack mind repelent for this entire place...Or Alkain's idea which I don't think... works with any packmind... We'll have to leave."

Anwen leans in to Eri, "Cyclotrimethawhat? Explosives?"

The justice bangs her gavel again, "No, we will claim this land for ourselves and others who are individual and sane, not those, hive minded, brutal, death dealing beasts!" she says and sits down, "Now, if we can fight off the foxes, then the wolves and coyotes shouldn't be any more of a problem, don't you agree?" she asks and nods to Eri, "It is a simple EMP device. After studying the lion for a while we discovered a way to distroy the whole packmind. Find their origon, where they are coming from and set it off, and we will have one." she says and points to a curten, "Take anything you need, but we will be keeping all our man power at the stronghold, any questions?" she says and looks very set in her opinions of the situation.

Anwen turns to her team. "Listen, this isn't part of our orders. I appreciate that we have to try to get these people out or protect them but killing this packmind seems like a seriously bad idea."

Anwen says, "I'll back whatever you guys think is the best course of action but we're really going out on a limb here and these people don't seem to want to help us outside of giving us an untested weapon."

Alkain looks at the judge and shakes his head with a frown, "Have you ever met one who could offer peace? I don't think you have, because I'm offering to mediate for you... If are reaclly that stupid to not even /attempt/ peace... Then I'm going to wish you luck in not getting your whole compound infected and just leave." he growls a bit and shakes his head, "Either way, I can't fight them effectivly... So I think I'll just wait at the chopper, unless you want to give peace a chance."

Cardison looks between Anwen and the justice. "You know, I think I'm kind of on the side of the person who isn't under the belief that they're a judge in this wasteland. And weren't we trying to get these people out? Or did I completely misunderstand the purpose of the trip..?" She shrugs, adjusting her jacket again. "Damn thing... I don't think I'm really qualified to fight them, either - Close range seems like a pretty bad idea."

Eri reaches up and strokes Alkain's cheek with the back of her finger as her other arms curl around his chest in a tight hug. "We would be affected by the EMP too, wouldn't we? We do have the same machines in us, just programed differently. So being the delivery system sounds like a one way trip. It is best if we just evacuate you all...Unless... you want to try Alkain's idea...."

Edel rubs her neck and sighs. "Look. I'll go where everyone else goes. I can't fight the packmind alone. And no, the EMP would not kill us, too. The packmind fingers are not like us. We can live outside of a bubble, unlike fingers. As far as I know."

Her eyes narrow, and the justice stands again and points her gavel out, "Then get out of my compound if you aren't with us you are against us! Mutants! Can't trust any of them." She looks to Anwen, "And you choose to side with them!? Get out of my compound. We will handle this ourselves!" she says and pounds on the desk again. "Get them out of my sight." she says and walks over to the curten as everyone is ushered back out. "I think it best if you all leave." says the human guiding everyone around so far.

Cardison raises her eyebrows, raising her hands in front of her. "Best judgement you've made all night." She looks at the others, shrugging. "Can't save people who don't want to be saved... Right? I'm not going to fight someone for what I think is best for them."
