Edges
From Flexible Survival
Revision as of 22:01, 2 July 2024 by Licherature (talk | contribs) (Completely rewrote and hyperlinked the entire table.)
Edges are purchased by spending remorts at the Intersection of Jefferys and Plymoth in Woodfield (the same room you remort in) and typing "buy edge [name of edge here]". Each time you remort, you get 1 more point to spend. You must acquire remorts beyond 25, capping your generic at +25% before you're able to spend them. Edges can give you powerful abilities that are not found anywhere else in the game for a hefty price, if you're willing to pay.
Vanity Edges may be purchased for 50 mako per point by attempting to purchase without enough remort points, or by buying again once you already own it. They are marked with a "V" in list edges.
Name | Description | Cost | Vanity |
---|---|---|---|
Adaptive Resilience | When you are stuck for any amount of damage, you gain +5 to your immunity to that damage type for 2 rounds. This can only happen once per 2 rounds. This immunity does affect the blow that triggered it. Passive powers (passive and toggles) do not trigger this (though any immunity already given will still be used). | 5 | No |
Advanced Peace | You have advanced to the point where violence is no longer required. This operates identically to Non-Violent Progress, the perk. If you have the perk as well, your odds of getting a boss vial doubles, while your chance of 2 vial credit quadruples. | 4 | No |
Aged Experience | Being an agent this long has taught you things, how to refine your skills. You gain one additional specialty. | 15 | No |
Athletic Swimmers | No, you have no special talent at swimming, but those guys between your legs do. In fact, people who have felt or tasted what you make almost swear they can feel it moving around. Your semen is supernaturally potent at doing its job and you enjoy a +50% rating to your virility. Quality, not quantity. | 3 | Yes |
Automated Master | You barely even think of combat, it just comes naturally. You gain an AI slot. | 3 | No |
Automated Master, Grand | You barely even think of combat, it just comes naturally. You gain two AI slots. | 15 | No |

Challenged Learner | You love a good challenge. When performing a non-prime mega battle, your rewards are even greater than others. (Normally the reward is 11 *, this increases it by +3 to 14 *) | 3 | No |
Challenged Learner, Greater | You love a good challenge. When performing a non-prime mega battle, your rewards are even greater than others. (Normally the reward is 11 *, this increases it by +3 to 14 *) This stacks with Challenged Learner (which would make it 17 * total). | 5 | No |

Math: Take the percentage of the damage dealt to you. Get its square root. That is given as a statusboost status for 5 rounds. | 10 | No |
Emergency Heal | The more injured your target, the more desperately you tend to their wounds. The energy cost of healing powers increases by 1% per 3% hp the target is missing, but you also heal 2% more per 4, and your charge time is reduced by 1% per 1. It all comes to a max of about +25% energy for +50% heals to keep your comrades kicking. This does work for self heals. This only works on the main target. | 10 | No |
