| Description: | The Kappa's body is covered in kelp green, pebbled hide. Mottled patches of shady gray are spattered across the tops and backs of his extremities. His head is humanoid but squat, as if flattened and re-inflated. The front of his face is pinched forwards into a turtle-like beak, fleshy and crinkled, with large, liquid eyes sunken above. Pointing, conical ears frame his face, and his straw-like hair is parted in the center with a bald plate, perpetually wet. His body is gaunt with his ribs showing. Taut, lean abdominal muscles hug tight to his abdomen. Crowning his back is a knobby, hex-segmented shell akin to a turtle's, its hard surface water-worn to a river rock's luster and roundness. The murky blue shell is marked with hatching and accented with shady gray, jagged swirls patterns. His arms are exceptionally long, but deceptively short-looking due to how they hunch pocket back into his shoulders. This gives the illusion of a shorter reach until it's too late, and the actual reach with his arms rivals his legs. Lean with tight, wiry muscles cording along the lengths, his arms end in gnarly, grasping hands with bulbous fingertips, fierce and clawful nails, and webbed membranes. His legs are bowed out with a squat stance. Thick, flat thighs resemble those of a frog, and the splay of his feet bares long, gripping toes with webbing between and raking, sharp nails. A narrow, barely-present turtle-tail sits at the base of his spine, just above his long, toned hind. | ||||||
