Silence permeated the atmosphere, thunderclouds darkening the skies. No big worries, though; it was all part of the plan. Well, at least it had been before he'd gotten frustrated and decided fuck the plan, he didn't need a plan. After all, what good was a plan if everything all went wrong in the end anyways? And God knew, things were just bound to go wrong.
There was a static thud as speakers clicked into life. Bony hands running over the keys and cursor, the young adult standing motionless for a minute or two. Then he cocked his head, listening, as a zombie sound travelled through the innards of the machine and out through the wires, through the vast black stero, and finally out of those great speakers. The sounds emited filled the entire area, clawing below the tremulous blue of the skies, hungry to get out. Meanwhilst, Laurie moved his shoulders to the rhythm, his gaze slitted as he scanned his kills, his pickled sounds, and found what he wanted: a snatch of trumpet, a wail, a cry of invitation. Dropping them into his tune, a predator's grin flickering at the edge of his curled lips as they sequed smoothly into the rolling bass, the slamming drums. Stolen chords and shouts that rode the waves of bass like surfers. They were fleeting and teasing, snatches of sound bursting into existence and sliding over the beat, tracing it, then winking away. Nodding his head, smiling, the alley cat seemed to find it to his satisfaction, stroking the keys almost lovingly.
Laurie had long since set up the little volleyball thing, traveling the soggy sands of the shoreline uncertainly, an expression of distaste etched into his visage; pale lips set in a grimace. Now he stood by the imaginary gates, calling to imaginary crowds. "Come and get it, fuckers!"
Salt walks up to the shoreline and stretches. It had been a long time since he had been to a beach, but he felt he was ready to play some volleyball. Salt looked at the net, making sure he remembered how to play. He then walked over to the Alley cat and said, "So what are the teams?"
Tyrel hums softly to herself as she wanders down the beach, clothed in her oversized gym shorts and loose fitting athletic top. She pauses, hearing the music thumping from the speakers, before quickly making her way towards the small gathering. "What do we have here?" she asks nobody in particular as she looks around, her head bouncing lightly with the music.
Tahrzek has been going further and further afield. Today he has found himself on some sort of beach in an area he has not familiarized himself with yet. The hexapodal dinosaur becomes attracted to the noise of...something in the distance. It didn't take long at all for curiosity to get the better of him. As such, the eight foot by fourteen foot feral trots toward where everyone is beginning to gather, the ground shaking more than the beat of the music would suggest during his approach. Unlike others, nothing but a collar is worn by this one, showing off the huge bits between the hindmost legs.
Breezy pads along, skirting the edges of the water. Occasionally, she kick up some wet sand as she strolls. She notices a vollyball set up and heads over since curiosity got her - as it usually does for kitties.
Nephele had heard the announcement. Or hadn't she? Was there even an announcement? Maybe not! But nevertheless, she found herself at the beach. Her clothing wasn't particularly different, still armed with her gun strapped to her shoulder, chain-sword at her hip, and a belt full of pouches holding a variety of necessary things. Yet her attention quickly is taken up by the loud boom of.. music? Drawing her ever closer to the beach before blinking in surprise at what she sees. She remains around the outskirts however, simply watching a few other people be ddrawn in.
Having heard the distant sounds of loud, pumping music, the massive blue dragon paused underneath the waves of the ocean, not too far from the shore. His curiosity getting the better of him, Dastion surfaces and peers toward the beach, but not before noticing the dark clouds overhead. "Hmm, I guess now would be a good time to head back," he says to himself as he finally reaches the beach and looks toward the thumping music. "Actually... this looks interesting." His tail drums on the sand as he listens to the beat, and begins to make his way over, forgetting his armor on the beach.
Lizzie walks up toward the get together wearing a pure white bikini with the words 'Fuck You' written on her ass. Her bare feet slip along the sand as she gets closer and eyes everything, wondering just how awesome the party would be. The only other things she had brought with her today was a rather large sniper rifle and a massive cooler of alcohol. "WHERE ARE THE BITCHES?" She yells out with a grin on her face, eyeing everyone there and sizing up everyone for a fight, fuck, or fun.
Laurie lets out a shriek, darting up and over from his meticulously spread blanket to rudely slap Breezy's hand from the ball. His eyes snap violet fire, pearly ivories exposed in a grisly baring of fangs as the feral stands his ground, his ire efficiently riled by the other feline's actions. "I haven't announced the rules yet!" he hisses, stepping back and away, fickle sensories for once heedless of the grainy textures beneath his paws as he retreats to his blanket with the ball safely in hand. He settles onto the soft fabric, visibly subsiding after noticing the others.
Herma sways ad licks hir lips as sie looks at the gathering group. Sie was wearing a new custom swim suit to fit hir huge sexual parts. With a neigh sie lets hir pegasus wings stand erect through some holes in hir swim suit's back. "I hope this custom suit won't rip"
Tyrel gives a friendly wave to those gathering near the steadily growing crowd. She looks curiously at some of the arrivals, in an effort to size up their personalities. Her round bottom swings obscenely behind her in the rather silly appearing shorts that cover the lower half of her form.
Breezy starts to snarl at the sudden swipe, but quickly shakes it off, raising her hands "Its all yours, I guess" She eyes the alley cat for a moment, her tail jerking in annoyance while she does so. She glances about at the others who are quickly gathering and shrugs. "So what's the rules?"
Leoth suddenly flys over the beach, observing the croud. He then wonders to him self, "hmm, should i join them?" After thinking for a bit, he steels himself, then flies down amongst the croud, waving to everyone in turn.
Nephele continues to remain upon the outskirts are more people filter in, the sudden crowd making her ill at ease. She folds her arms over her chest, pressing into the armored vest she wore as she continues to watch, her green eyes darting to the many inhuman figures wandering about.
Dastion finally arrives at the volleyball net and takes a look at the others as they arrivee from all directions. He looks down at himself and groans in annoyance as he realizes what he had forgotten on the beach. "Well, let's see how this goes," he says as he strides over to where the alley cat is defending is ball. The dragon's tail flicks amusingly from side to side as he decides to have a seat and wait for the rules before getting himself into trouble. Waving to those gathering, he leans back onto his hands and feels the coarse sand between his fingers.
