"You haven't seen Gremlin, have you? Eh, I'm sure he's around here somewhere. Anyway, I'm ready for this salvage mission you mentioned! Never been that far outside Eureka beforejust xciting!" Most of her body was covered by the relatively light but extra protective clothing and she brought along a modified assault rifle as well as a myriad of other gear in her pack and on her person. "Seems like everyones ready and excited for this, good! Now fortunately we got at least 2 vehicles, my humvee that i will need to find another because im not a 40 feet long snake anymore, and Umeko's RV, otherwise we would be gone for months. Now it'll only be between 2 weeks and a month depending on how things goes, hopefully we wont get into too much troubles." The chimera would turn toward the giant human outside "Although, uh will you be fine outside the nanites area of influence and you think you light enough to not destroy my humvee by sitting on top of it?" We could go higher but it'd mean people would have to stand or sit on the floor, or maybe the bed or something... Got room for somebody who wants to ride shotgun, a couch, and two foldaway seats. If you want to ride first class we've got entertainment in the form of old movies and shows on the TV, a kitchen with plenty of food and drinks, bathroom and shower... Though we can take a pit stop if anyone in the other vehicle needs something or wants to settle down to eat on the way or whatnot." <p style="height:0.5em;margin:0"></p><p style="height:0.5em;margin:0"></p> "Also I'm Umeko, it's nice to meet you all! I know some of you already but lots of new faces too. I usually do a lot of scavenging out here and made an RV to help with it, so we should be fine getting there and back. It's unfortunate she has to rely on other for her voice.</div> <div title="Kishea" style="margin-top:2em">(Kishea) Kishea would roll the map then put it in a tube before putting it in her backpack. "Lets walk to the garage, ill tell more about the mission on the way." everyone would leave the room with the chimera. "Last time i was at that comms center was about a year ago, its in a abandoned military compound. I almost lost a leg there, its a minefield around the compound, not to worry i have another map of the compound i made myself with a sade route to the comms, but just in case ill still bring the stuff to deactivate mines, shouldnt need it but better safe than sorry! It should still be unhabited since the gear needed to take care of all that is very hard to get nowadays. The worse is just gonna be getting there. Once inside the compound we will still need to be careful, since there might be more traps around. Im not much experienced on comms other than radio or morse codes but im sure we can figure it out so im not worried about it. </div> <div title="Willy" style="margin-top:2em">(Willy) Willy Willy nods soft and makes some mental notes, before smiling with a toothy grin. "Will keep that all in mine, and I don't think I'll worry on the trip up. "A minefield, huh? And other traps?" She looks down at her own feet, hovering just above the floor. "I wonder if a ghost would trip any of that? I don't really want to find out." A satisfied smile dances across her face as they pass through the refurbished halls of the bunker. "If we can fix this place up, I'm sure we can do the same for this other comms center once it's safe. Hmm, how far underground should they be? If the area has been abandoned, would we be able to smell them?" remembering faintly that some sort of rats were used to sniff out landmines back in the day, but that could very well have been because the rats were so short and low to the ground, which they aren't.</div> <div title="Umeko" style="margin-top:2em">(Umeko) Umeko rubbed her chin a bit, "Hmmm... I feel like there's way less dangerous ways to get parts for a communications system, even if it means replacing the old stuff... Still, I would be lying if I said the place didn't intrigue me, might find some other interesting stuff while we're at it. Maybe some genuine vintage military gear as a souvenier at the very least..." <p style="height:0.5em;margin:0"></p><p style="height:0.5em;margin:0"></p> "I wonder how well metal detectors will work for mines, probably want to avoid them even with other precautions to try and disable them. In a worst case scenario I've got an emergency medbot, medical nanomagic, and a stock of supplies just in case too..."</div> <div title="Isabelle" style="margin-top:2em">(Isabelle) Isabelle nods at the group and takes off into the sky. "If you want to be comfortable i suggest everyone goes in the RV with Umeko, we will be able to communicate via the cars radio as for isabelle, well i think we will be able to hear her just fine if she talk loudly haha!" From there she had access to a screen hooked up to the turret drone's camera on the roof, along with a keyboard to control it and rotate it around and such. "Go ahead and make yourself comfortable, there's movies on the computer back there but the controller can just skip through the different files. We should really go looking for some more DVDs sometime though!"</div> <div title="Sensuen" style="margin-top:2em">(Sensuen) Sensuen nods back to Junes and says, "At least I'm not exactly alone here, but, true, road trip, and I guess hope everything turns out okay." though she could possibly use some tips for making a set of lockpicks from Junes on the way there, mainly advice on handles for them, if any are even needed.</div> |

(Junes) Junes realized with a nod and introduced themselves as well "oh right, im junes! im pretty big into fishing and going on expeditions or relaxing with some music or games"
(Kishea) Kishea would do a click sound in slight annoyance as she grab a cigar pack from her pocket to grab a cigar before putting the small carton back into her pocket. She would light it up and start smoking. "Sorry, trying to be less horny, this stuff is like a nicotine patch but for libido."
(Isabelle) Isabelle taps her head while unfurling her wings. "I think I can manage out here and I should be able to follow along in flight. I've already activated Regulation Nanomagic on my NICE unit."
(Willy) Willy nods to this "This is definitly a long mission. Will keep in mind, and the note on nanites" he says "Not that I think that should be an issue at all." he says, waiting for more information on the mission as he thinks about a few things, his tail whipping and flitting a little.
(Sensuen) Sensuen nods to Willy and listens for more information on the upcoming mission, it's at least good that they have 2 vehicles, not only does it shorten the trip, it means they can bring more gear in as an answer to any problems along the way. Sen's equipment is at least in working order, what she kept on her anyway.
(Umeko) Umeko nodded to Ysadora, "Yeah, I've got some room to hold a fair number of people comfortably, maybe like 5 average human sized ones? We could go higher but it'd mean people would have to stand or sit on the floor, or maybe the bed or something... Got room for somebody who wants to ride shotgun, a couch, and two foldaway seats. If you want to ride first class we've got entertainment in the form of old movies and shows on the TV, a kitchen with plenty of food and drinks, bathroom and shower... Though we can take a pit stop if anyone in the other vehicle needs something or wants to settle down to eat on the way or whatnot." "Also I'm Umeko, it's nice to meet you all! I know some of you already but lots of new faces too. I usually do a lot of scavenging out here and made an RV to help with it, so we should be fine getting there and back. Even has some built in security as long as we're inside or near it!"
(Janice) 'The Bunker project, salvage mission. . .' They think to themselves, scratching their head as they get context to jog her memory. Groggy morning. 'Oh right. Introductions, Introd- Can't speak. Uhh. .' Janice waves to each person individually, tapping Junes shoulder, Being the way she is. It's unfortunate she has to rely on other for her voice.
(Kishea) Kishea would roll the map then put it in a tube before putting it in her backpack. "Lets walk to the garage, ill tell more about the mission on the way." everyone would leave the room with the chimera. "Last time i was at that comms center was about a year ago, its in a abandoned military compound. I almost lost a leg there, its a minefield around the compound, not to worry i have another map of the compound i made myself with a sade route to the comms, but just in case ill still bring the stuff to deactivate mines, shouldnt need it but better safe than sorry! It should still be unhabited since the gear needed to take care of all that is very hard to get nowadays. The worse is just gonna be getting there. Once inside the compound we will still need to be careful, since there might be more traps around. Im not much experienced on comms other than radio or morse codes but im sure we can figure it out so im not worried about it.
(Willy) Willy Willy nods soft and makes some mental notes, before smiling with a toothy grin. "Will keep that all in mine, and I don't think I'll worry on the trip up. We have good pilots for the cars right?" he says with a slightly uneasy expression.
(Ysadora) Ysadora follows along as Kishea speaks. "A minefield, huh? And other traps?" She looks down at her own feet, hovering just above the floor. "I wonder if a ghost would trip any of that? I don't really want to find out." A satisfied smile dances across her face as they pass through the refurbished halls of the bunker. "If we can fix this place up, I'm sure we can do the same for this other comms center once it's safe. And I call shotgun, Umeko!"
(Junes) Junes looked a bit worried hearing about the mines but soon laughed hearing what willy said, nodding and patting janice before mentioning to umeko "oh and i can save on quite a bit of room there too" sitting up they joined the group
(Sensuen) Sensuen says, "I've, kinda gotten into lockpicking, but then that's mainly through mutant powers, so I don't entirely know how much use I could be at disarming landmines. Hmm, how far underground should they be? If the area has been abandoned, would we be able to smell them?" remembering faintly that some sort of rats were used to sniff out landmines back in the day, but that could very well have been because the rats were so short and low to the ground, which they aren't.
(Umeko) Umeko rubbed her chin a bit, "Hmmm... I feel like there's way less dangerous ways to get parts for a communications system, even if it means replacing the old stuff... Still, I would be lying if I said the place didn't intrigue me, might find some other interesting stuff while we're at it. Maybe some genuine vintage military gear as a souvenier at the very least..." "I wonder how well metal detectors will work for mines, probably want to avoid them even with other precautions to try and disable them. In a worst case scenario I've got an emergency medbot, medical nanomagic, and a stock of supplies just in case too..."
(Isabelle) Isabelle nods at the group and takes off into the sky. Isabelle maintains a circling pattern, waiting for the group to take off.
(Kishea) Kishea would open the garage door and get in her Humvee. "If you want to be comfortable i suggest everyone goes in the RV with Umeko, we will be able to communicate via the cars radio as for isabelle, well i think we will be able to hear her just fine if she talk loudly haha!" Kishea would start up her Humvee.
(Ysadora) Ysadora hops in Umeko's RV. "Road trip!" she enthuses.
(Junes) Junes nodded to sensuen "oh! i have some ways of helping there i think but for now, road trip!" seeing the familiar RV they hopped up and into it making their way to the table and sitting there "oh yeah umeko, got any new stuff to watch besides chef stuff? i dont mind at all but you cant beat a good movie"
(Umeko) Umeko hopped on in and made herself comfortable in the driver's seat and invited Ysadora sit up front as well. From there she had access to a screen hooked up to the turret drone's camera on the roof, along with a keyboard to control it and rotate it around and such. "Go ahead and make yourself comfortable, there's movies on the computer back there but the controller can just skip through the different files. We should really go looking for some more DVDs sometime though!"
(Sensuen) Sensuen nods back to Junes and says, "At least I'm not exactly alone here, but, true, road trip, and I guess hope everything turns out okay." though she could possibly use some tips for making a set of lockpicks from Junes on the way there, mainly advice on handles for them, if any are even needed.
