When I turned 18 my father Mathew Sr told me that I would soon know the answer to every question I would ever have for the rest of my life. But I think he's just going crazy. He once told me he knows what happened in 2008 but couldn't tell anyone until I left. What a weird guy. That day I was briefed on my mission and put into the time machine.

When the time pods diagnostic systems came back green then I started countdown and was on my way. Everything was going smoothly until the time pods experimental chrono-core overheated and cracked. The time pod went out of control and crashed far before 2008. The navigation system estimated that I was in California around the year 75,000 B.C. I pushed the time pod into a near by cave in the California mountains and after covering up the cave entrance decided to take a nap. I had no idea the crack in the chrono-core was leaking radiation. When I woke up I found out that the radiation had completely halted my aging. After a few hundred years I discovered that the radiation had also stopped the need to consume food and the need to sleep. With the time pod damaged beyond repair I decided to just sit in the cave and watch time go by around me. After what seemed like an eternity of waiting for something interesting to happen I started running into the indigenous hairless people of the area and they revered me as a god. I wasn't really into the whole idea and eventually they forgot about my physical existence and revered me as a spirit. I took advantage of this and faded back into obscurity. I starting collecting various bits of clothing from the people I ran into in the woods and I was eventually able to disguise my animalistic appearance and check out the world that was building around my cave. When 2008 came around I was reminded of my mission and waited to see what the world changing event I had had been sent there to find out about was. At the time the Prometheus Virus was released I had no idea what was going on around me. Everyone starting mutating into animal and monsters. It took a few days for the Virus to start affecting me but it eventually did. Although I didn't lose my mind like a lot infected I had to fight a lot of them. Now I try to make the best of the situation I am in.

started without a problem as the time machine completed it's diagnostic checks and the dial started to decrease from the starting year of 10,008. Half way thought the test the core's cooling system shorted out. I was in the middle of repairing it when a power surge caught me by surprise and I smash my head into the core and blacked out. When I woke up the core was leaking and the time machine was laying on the ground. Using the backup power I found out from the navigation system that I was in California in the year 75,936 B.C. I Pushed my wrecked time machine into a nearby cave in the California mountains and built myself a small den in the cave. I later discovered that the radiation from the leaking time machine core had caused me to stop aging. I also found out that I didn't require any food or sleep to function properly. With my time machine wrecked beyond repair blocked the cave entrance and took a long sleep. I took many long sleeps waking up in many different years at which point I started collecting clothing to disguise my less than human appearance. When 2008 finally came around I started standing outside the Zephyr building to watch them make history. Now that the Promethean incident has happened I just try to make the best of the world in it's current state.-->
