What is Mako?

Mako is the rarest and most powerful of the nanites. The massive majority of nanites follow Nanite Limits and vary in the exact degree of how useful they are, from the low grade builder nanites, to the higher grade infection nanites. Mako nanites are the only ones to toss these limits completely out the window. Unstoppable even by glass, Mako Nanites must be stored in a special container treated specifically for their use. This canister also comes with a counter to contentiously check how many nanites are inside. Other then this, there isn't much information on what exactly Mako Nanites are or can do. Study of the things is very complicated given their ability to warp both physics and matter.

How do I find Mako? (IC Part)

Mako comes and goes freely how it feels until captured and contained. Given its ability to pretty much do what it wants, Mako could easily appear next to you and be acquired via your collector and container. It can be given as a gift, transfers from one person to another doable via their containers. Just about any explanation can be given for the way Mako finds its way into your possession.

The most common method of getting Mako is by a donation to the game via commerce page. Also on that link are some surveys and offers that will get you mako without a donation. RPing enters you into the RP Lotto allow you to get 2 mako if you win. +help Chores if typed in game will let you see a few other ways. Making updates to the wiki, talkscripting, and becoming a judge and running story scenes for your other players are other ways to gain mako.

What can I do with Mako?

While manipulations of the mako itself are next to impossible, Zephyr Inc is very interested in it, willing to trade your mako for some of their fabulous items. They will even go as far as to build you your own place and research new technologies for you. They can also sell you equipment that assists in locating new form mutations. In addition to selling it to Zephyr for their products, you can sell it to Zephyr and others for very specific training. These Dedications are not supernatural based, but still very powerful. Lastly, you can use mako to actually contact and receive power from other realms. If you travel to a very specific site and make an offering of your mako, you can receive the blessing of some power beyond the curtains of our world! Finally minor services, such as a special comm channel title, or altering the effect of your voice, can also be acquired by Mako trading.
