− | She was a bit impulsive and playful, so she was perfect for the 12 to 15 year olds,
| |
− | an age-group she loved teaching.
| |
− | Coming on a schooltrip to America changed everything for her however.
| |
− |
| |
− | She had no idea what was going on as during her trip her students, 25 14 year olds, were suddenly torn to
| |
− | pieces by unseen forces and completely disintegrated right before her eyes. She started to
| |
− | scream and run, but soon found her body shrinking and changing as she ran away. When she looked
| |
− | behind her she noticed she had suddenly gained a tauric backside, fur and was probably under
| |
− | 3 foot tall. Her traumatized and exhausted mind at that point basically shut down and all she
| |
− | could do was run as far away as she could.
| |
− | And from then on, that's all she did. For days, weeks, months, years
| |
− | she was shut inside her mind she has no idea for how long this lasted,
| |
− | trying not to think and push the images as far away as possible.
| |
− | During that time she also didn't seem to meet anyone that seemed to have retained their mind,
| |
− | she started to think she may be the only one that had retained any form of resemblance to sanity.
| |
− |
| |
− | Having to survive in such a hostile environment with her mind shattered as it was, because of
| |
− | having seen her students killed in front of her, she had to depend on her instincts and had
| |
− | to embrace them. They however were cat instincts and embracing them also meant she started
| |
− | to act more catlike over time, combined with her impulsive behavior
| |
− | it was a recipe for disaster. Often chasing smaller objects, going after shining things and
| |
− | getting completely lost in the process and not being able to find her way back the her previous
| |
− | hiding place and having to make a new one. There were a few times when she had to fight her way
| |
− | out of an encounter with a feral, but mostly she kept out of their way, usually by hiding in
| |
− | any available Point Zero in whichever city she moved to.
| |
− |
| |
− | Once she reached the Fairhaven Point Zero she was noticed by a researcher, due to the fact that
| |
− | usually ferals avoid the area, and she certainly wasn't one of the people that normally venture
| |
− | there. She was quickly captured by a Zephyr researcher for study. Due to her small size and
| |
− | unusually non-feral behavior she was an ideal test subject for the man. She was kept locked up in
| |
− | a cage and experimented on for a long time. He even installed a NICE into her head and abused her
| |
− | in various ways. During a particularly bad session she snapped, latched onto his chest and burrowed
| |
− | straight through him, killing him. Afterwards she and several other test subjects escaped.
| |
− | The Zephyr higher-ups, having read through the man's research notes decided not to pursue the
| |
− | escaped test subjects since they have suffered enough.
| |
− |
| |
− | After having regained most of her mind she was taken in by the Promethians, but she quickly went
| |
− | her own way, not really wanting to bother with factions and groups.
| |
− | She still has very strong nostalgic feelings towards Point Zeroes and often travels to them to
| |
− | be in the strange twisted atmosphere.
| |
− |
| |
− | Due to her tiny size and the amount of time spend in the wilds, she has forsaken clothing. Mainly
| |
− | because anything other than a napkin wouldn't fit her and she's become so used to being naked that
| |
− | she now finds clothing to be too restricting.
| |
− |
| |
− | She also has a tendency to hide under couches or snooze on the backrest. She has a playful character
| |
− | due to her cat instincts and can usually be lured out of a hiding place by a wagging tail or other such item.
| |
− |
| |
− | She may act like a cat and can sometimes be treated like one, but she is very intelligent and knows
| |
− | about her instincts being as prominent as they are, but like most cats, it doesn't matter to her and
| |
− | she quickly loses interest in worrying about it, this is probably also due to her mental trauma, as she
| |
− | tends to push negative memories as far away as possible and quickly forgets they even happened.
| |
− |
| |
− | Even though it may be strange considering that she's a cattaur, she's a vegetarian.
