Located in the northeast part of Fairhaven, in what used to be Chandler Hospital, the Survivalists have tried to keep as far away from the nanite-plagued disaster as they can. Until very recently, entry required killing and scalping dozens and dozens of ferals simply to prove you were trustworthy. The ever-pressing needs of capitalism have forced them to open their doors and at least (publicly) mellow a bit, and now will offer their alliance to any like-minded humans or at least non-threatening mutants.
The recipes they offer are human solutions for human problems. No nanites go into the basics, though they can be forgiven if some builder vials go into making things just a little more professional.
