Kamryn has few close friends or meaningful relationships, having left everyone she knew back in the UK. Her introverted nature makes her nervous around people and she finds it difficult to start conversations and get to know anyone new, but she's trying to find ways to overcome her limitations and make some friends she can feel comfortable around.
Since arriving in Fairhaven, some of the people she considers friends (and more, in some cases) are:
- Zentheos, her first mating since becoming female. It took a little hypnotic 'encouragement' from Jaqueline, but it ended well.
- Kar-dragon, a "good friend" and now neighbour at the Sagan Memorial Observatory
