The NISD is a storage device for nanite infection vials collected from ferals defeated in combat. All agents are issued with a basic NISD along with their [[Comms and You|comm device]] and other standard gear. Some additional upgrades are available for purchase.

;       Basic NISD : Standard issue, has a capacity of 1,000 vials per infection strain.
;        [[Nanite Infection Strain Database(mako item)|Mako NISD]] : Available from [[Mako Shop|elite supplies]] stores at faction headquarters for 50 mako. Increases storage capacity to 100,000 vials per infection strain.
; [[Advancement NISD(mako item)|Advancement NISD]] : Available from [[Mako Shop|elite supplies]] stores for 25 mako. Provides secure storage for the more aggressive boss nanite vials.
