<div></div><br> <br>It is early morning, the sun just starting to rise. Normally Angelily would be awake hours ago, but, something was holding her asleep. She tosses and turns on her bed, unable to settle into anything remotely restful. In her split mind she was being talked to, odd images running, unusual words. Her form starts to change. Her blue fur turning red and brown, ears, nose, tail all changing. She whimpers as she tosses again, throwing the covers around. Then she wakes with a start, opening her brown and red eyes. She looks around almost as if in a panic! She closes her eyes again and holds the side of her head. She gets up, still in her PT uniform, which she uses for morning training and as PJs. She walks through the barreks room, where the rest of her pack is still sleeping, and continues out into the street just infront of the Rose. It is a clear day, bright, and starting to warm as spring continues on. The now coyote Angelily looks around, and starts walking toward the north, as if compelled by something.<br> <br>Anbessa glows faintly as he shuts his eyes, his form shifting quickly into a pure human!<br> <br>The early morning is also the beginning of the day for a certain Talakai's patrols as well. Anbessa hums quietly as he quietly pads down the streets of fairhaven, his nose up high as his eyes scan the early morning skies above the city. His tail slowly swings behind him, his newest creation faintly jingling on his back as it glistens in the morning sunlight... He sighs softly in boredom, the routine slowly beginning to get on his nerves. Lowering his head back down towards the streets, he looks down the many blocks of the city. Though... A faintly familiar figure in the distance catches his eye as it passes by the Rose, his ears perking up atop of his head as he watches the figure quietly, stopping his movements. The clothing is familar... Though the fur coloring is different. His eyes squint as he watches her round a corner out of his sight, though he is already curious enough to pick up the pace to begin to tail the familiar person from a few blocks away. Staying near the buildings, the only thing that can stand out on him is the steel Waraxe sitting on his back in it's strap...<br> <br>It would be an early morning for Angus...but of course the foolish fox decided to spend the entire night up in her lab. So of course it didn't feel like an early morning as she decided to take a stroll, a warm cup of coffee in her paws as she whistled. She had no idea what to do with herself and was bored out of her wits...so when she noticed a strange looking coyote walking in the distance she just couldn't resist following.<br> <br>Angelily continues to walk northward, dodging though the streets following the call. She doesn't stop, even as she starts to get closer to the edges of the city, where she is attacked by a band of feral Wolf Beasts! She is so caught up in the call that is going to her. She is tackled over by one of the Wolf Beasts with a slight yelp. THe assult bringing her to her sences, "What!! Get off of us!" She says reaching out to claw at them, "Lily.. how did we get out here!?" She says aloud, then "Angel.. I don't know.. but I feel funny..." Seems she is talking to herself? Other Wolf Beasts start to join in to attack her.<br> <br>Anbessa spends the time quietly tailing the coyote, him staying at least a few blocks distance from the curious looking yote... Though as he spots the wolven beasts tackle down the coyote, the Talakai's eyes open wide from the suddenness... Though this soon gives way to a slowly rising growl as the Talakai raises a paw over his shoulder to the handmade Waraxe upon his back... "Hey!" A loud roar comes out of the Talakai's muzzle, shouting at the wolven crowd. "Fuckheads! Get off the lady before I chop you all like firewood!" He shouts at the crowd, the Talakai's paws gripping the red leather of his two handed Waraxe's handle. As soon as he gets his grip, he begins his charge, his footpaw's claws clacking the ground as he rushes the crowd with no sense of self preservation, ready to get to swinging as soon as he gets in range... With his eyes shining a ominous grey, the air around him just screams to 'GET AWAY!'<br> <br>Angus wasn't so quiet as she followed the coyote. She was whistling with her hands in her pockets as she stayed a few blocks back rather enjoying the trip. All an all she wasn't to suprised as a pack of ferals decided to jump the coyote, they usually do, but that didn't stop her from getting angry as the wolves closed in on another coyote. With a slight snarl she wraps a hand around the leather grip of the hammer hanging off her back, blinking in suprise as a Talakai decides to join into the fight, and without a forethought set one of the Wolves ablaze. She then follows the Talakai in his charge, bringing her hammer to bear on anything that gets in the way.<br> <br>As Anbessa assults the Wolf Beasts and Angus backs him up they scatter leaving the coyote on the ground and looking up at them, "An.. Anbessa?" She says looking him over, "Anbessa!! Its us! Angelily!" She says getting up to hug him. "Oh, where exactly are we? And how did we get here? Umm, and who is this with you?" she asks looking about a moment then holds her head, whining in slight pain, "North.. have to head north... the lake.." But if she were to try to go there directly it would take forever, and she'd likely be dead long before she got there.<br> <br>Anbessa seems to almost skid on the pads of his feet as Angel gets up and hugs him, the Talakai holding his Waraxe to the side as he does return the hug with a one handed embrace. "Angel...? You look a bit different... But either way, it is nice to see you sweetie." He says, leaning down to kiss the yote's forehead for a short second. Though at pointing out the 3rd with them, the Talakai blinks for a moment before looking over his shoulder towards Angus. "Erm... Hello?" Anbessa asks, raising an eyebrow curiously towards the collared woman before looking back to Angel and shrugging. He cocks his head to the side as Angel winces, his eyes looking towards the direction she was heading before looking back down to her curiously. "Erm... Lake?" Anbessa asks, looking over to Angus for a moment before back to Angel. "Well... Need company?" Anbessa asks, scratching behind his head quietly as he glances between Angel and the Shadow Vixen who helped out.<br> <br>Angus turns to the two after just turning one of the wolves heads into a crushed melon and lays her hammer on her shoulder. She smiles, watching Anbessa kiss Angelily on the forehead "Hi ya, the names Angus and it's a pleasure to meet a fellow Coyote." She wipes her hand on her lab coat before she offers it to Angelily. She then turns and gives Anbessa a curious look before she waves to him as well. "Hello, haven't met many Talakai before so hopefully you don't mind if I stare." Her ears twitch and her eyees widen at the mention of a lake up north and she turns back to Angel. "I uh....I think I might know of this lake that your talking about..."<br> <br>Angelily giggles slighty at the kiss, "Umm, still not sure how we go out here." She says "And.. different." She looks over her form and sure enough, she yips, no longer a husky. "What!? When did we.. Lily.." And she converses with herself in her head for a little while, then she looks to Angus then back to Anbessa, "Company.. would be good, we're not sure what is going on, but... something is calling us, from a dream, distant and far away, it wants us to go to a.. a lake.. some lake.. Crator Lake? Do you know it?" She asks looking over to Angus from within Anbessa's grasp.<br> <br>Anbessa looks over his shoulder to Angus, smiling to the Shadow Vixen as he nods. "I don't mind, to be honest." He says, chuckling faintly as his paw raises his Waraxe up and back into it's proper strap on his back. Both can notice Anbessa's eyes suddenly flash and change to a bright Silver color as soon as the Axe is put away. "I'd say the same thing to you, but asking a gal if I woulden't mind staring would be a tad different than the other way around." He says, soon finally wrapping his other arm around Angel to hug the new Coyote to his fluffy chest. He quiets up as he watches Angus though, his tail quietly swaying behind him as he listens to the two, since he has never heard of 'Crater Lake' before.<br> <br>Angus clams up at the mention of Crater lake and her eyes narrow... There was something strange about this new coyote but she couldn't put her finger on it. She nods her head in answer to her questions, and unlike Anbessa she doesn't put her weapon away. "...Are you sure it's Crater Lake?" She asked, curious as to how she even knew about Crater lake as it was a well guarded secret...and she also hoped that she was wrong, not wanting to throw another possible innocent into the waiting jaws of Coyote.<br> <br>Angelily flinches and holds her head again, "Yes.. two .. beings.. two of them talked to us.. one to Lily, the other to Angel... big and.. obscured. Said we needed to learn a lesson, said the only way was to help one of the People." She whines as she tries to recall the dream, "That.. our children wouldn't be ours and our form never the same till we did.. to learn.." And she whines, "It is Crater Lake.. the bit one that talked to Angel said she has to go there.. North.." And almost as if caught up in the dream again, "North... we need to head north" She tries to start walking away again.<br> <br>Anbessa's arms continue to hold Angel as she tries to walk away in the daze once more, the Talakai looking over to Angus quietly. "Well... You seem to know the place. Is it very far?" The Talakai asks, his tail now limply hanging behind him as he looks down at the Coyote walking into his arms. She ain't going nowhere just yet obviously, the Talakai's grip firm and still holding her in the hug. "Though... How she puts it, something doesn't sound very right..." He mutters, his ears flattening against his head. Part of his head is nagging at what might be waiting at 'Crater Lake'... But considering Angel's determination to get there, he may as well come with to make sure the Ex-husky doesn't get herself killed somehow.<br> <br>Angus sighs and shakes her head, her ears flattening as well. "Yes...I know the place, and it is far." She walked right up to Angelily and put a hand on her shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. "....and I think I might know who that voice belongs to as well." Looks like she had no choice in the matter, and she turned back to Anbessa. "Your free to come along...but I must warn you, the lake is a sacred place and most noncoyotes aren't allowed there. So anything you see or hear must be kept a secret, do you understand?"<br> <br>Anbessa nods towards Angus, his tail swaying slowly behind him before it calms once more. "Well, sure. I got enough secrets, dark or not. I can hold another... Though, I don't think us just walking there would be too safe." He says, looking off towards the direction that Angel is trying to walk to. "Us just walking out of the Nanite bubble would be too dangerous... Us losing our nanite powers and regeneration would be a tad suicidal..." He looks down at Angel for a moment... Then looks over towards the Zephyr building. "Maybe... We can take a ride to there?" He suggests, looking over to Angus as his paws continue to hug around Angel to keep the ex-husky from walking away.<br> <br>Angelily continues to try and walk in the direction she was going, as if possessed by something. Anbessa's words don't regester to her, however she does start to struggle a bit in Anbessa's grasp, "Need to get North... to.. the lake..... Fox... Coyote..." she says almost as if a machine, eyes half lidded over.<br> <br>Angus nods once again and turns back to Zephyr. "It's possible...I don't know really, as I've only been to the lake once myself." Angelily recieves a look of concern as she watches her. "Might want to pick her up...I'm sorry whats your name?" She asks, already walking towards Zephyr not waiting for them to follow.<br> <br>Anbessa smiles to Angus as the Talakai impatiently hefts up Angel, his paws ending up picking up the ex-husky and placing her over his shoulder as a caveman would. "Name is Anbessa. Nice to meet you." He says, his tail quietly swaying behind him as the Talakai places a paw atop of Angel's back to hold her in spot just in case she struggles. "And calm down Angel. We are gonna get you there... Just faster." The Talakai says, his cheek nuzzling the side of Angel's belly lightly for a moment before he turns towards Angus and nods. "Lets get going before she starts biting."<br> <br>Angelily yelps a bit as she is picked up, but seems to be very complacent in the grasp for now. The group heads down to Zypher. As they go further south, Angelily starts to struggle a bit, growling softly, but doesn't do anything more. Upon arrival it is easy to find Mike standing outside the double doors enjoying the morning. "Oh hello again Anbessa... but, what are you carrying there, or rather who?" he asks looking around at the small group approching them.<br> <br>Angus smiles right back at Anbessa, showing him her fangs jokingly. "Careful, coyote teeth are sharp." Angel is once again given a worried glance as she struggles, hoping she doesn't get any worse as they continue south. "Hello Mike...we hae a favor to ask you." She then takes a step to the side, allowing Anbessa to talk to Mike as she starts cleaning of her hammer.<br> <br>Anbessa grumbles lightly along the way as Angel struggles, but it does not give her much success at all other than him pinching her rump along the way to get her to quit it. Though he stops that as he spots Mike. "Ey Mike! I'd give you a hug, but I got an arm full here..." He says, looking to Angel for a moment before he speaks once more. "Anyway, Mike, do you know how to fly to 'Crater Lake'? This 'Yote here needs a ride... And honestly, she was just trying to walk out of the Nanite bubble to try to walk all the way there. Can't have her doing that." He says, smiling widely to Mike as his tail swings quietly behind him.<br> <br>Angelily continues her soft struggling, as she tries to continue on her way. Mike however proves more helpful, "Sure could.. but, I'm going to have to ask a little more then what I charge for going to Woodfield, how about... 1k per person, and it will be a bit of a trip." He explains while looking them over again.<br> <br>Angus manages to clean of most of what's left on her hammer before she stands up. "That sounds about far, anyone disagree?" She turns to Anbessa with a smile, hoping that he might say no and they wouldn't have to go still. Her tail swayed softly behind her as she eyed Angel up, still rather curious as to why she was being summoned by Coyote.<br> <br>Anbessa nods to Mike as his focus leaves Angelily. "You know it's no problem." His COM device opens up over his eye... And Mike gets the confirmation from his that he is now 4K richer. "And enjoy the 1K tip." Anbessa says, smiling towards Mike. "Though I hope your helicopter has something to tie this stubborn gal down... She may just walk right out of the chopper if we aren't careful. Lets get goin'?" He asks, his tail wagging furiously behind him as he looks to Angus, ready to get this done.<br> <br>Angelily is taken by Mike from Anbessa and takes a moment to adjust to stop her struggling, "Yep, we can tie her down good." he says taking the group up to his copper. It is quiet the ride out, the chopper mid way about now, "About half way there fellows and lady, and I'm going to have to refuel when we get there." He explains, the only noise being the blades from the chopper.<br> <br>Angus starts tp fidget as soon as she enters the chopper. She realllllly hated flying, and it showed as her claws began to beat a tempo against the choppers floor and she refused to look out the window. "I'll pay for your refueling then." She mutters loud enough to be heard over the whirling blades as she tried not to think of what would happen if they stopped working.<br> <br>Anbessa is just the opposite of Angus, his eyes gazing out of the window as he observes the earth from the view of the sky. At least Angus's body language catches to the Talakai, so through most of the ride Angus is getting a paw petting across the top of her head. "Nah, don't worry about it. I can pay for the battery bill." He says, smiling towards the Vixen before he looks over towards Angel to observe her quietly. Since they are getting near, she should be calming down, right?<br> <br>Angelily is indeed calming down and as they land at the safe area near the lake she seems much more calm. When Mike unstraps her she even just sets up and says "We're close.. just.. that way." She says starting to walk off toward the lake, but then stopping, "Come on.. we don't want to keep him waiting." She says tapping a paw against the dirt.<br> <br>Angus calms down slightly as she is petted and smiles at Anbessa. "Thanks....I really hate flying." She eagerly hops out of the screaming metal death trap as it lands, and is happy to be on solid ground again as she nods to Angelily. "Don't worry we are right behind you."<br> <br>Anbessa smiles to Angus as he follows after her, him looking over his shoulder towards Mike. His COM opens again, and once more Mike is given a bit more money to pay for the recharge to the battery. He then turns back to Angus and Angel and nods... "He, huh?" Anbessa asks, a paw on his side as he pads behind the two. With a paw only leaving his side to readjust the strap for his Axe for a moment, he goes otherwise quite silent, him observing the area around them as his ears swivel atop of his head at every noise.<br> <br>Angelily nods and starts walking toward Crater Lake with uncanny directive sense. "Yes, he, the one calling us." She continues on, with Angus and Anbessa following her. This area is indeed well protected. Eventually she finds the lake she is looking for. She looks at the water and back to Angus, "He is in there.. isn't he?" She says.<br> <br>Angus looks down at the water and nods. "Ya....he's in there." Her words were nearly silent, barely being heard by both of them as she turned to Anbessa and pointed to the lake, not wanting the Talakai to be confused before they walked in. "The...He that she keeps referring to is Coyote." Turning back to the lake she stared down at it and said nothing more.<br> <br>Anbessa cocks his head to the side for a moment before padding over next to the two, the Talakai curiously looking down into the water as well. "Ahh...? Alright... But, is there something we are missing here? I don't see anythin'..." The Talakai says, him squinting as the Talakai curiously peeks over the edge for a moment before taking a step back and looking to the two. "Do... We wait?"<br> <br>Angelily looks down into the water and sees herself, but feels.. him. She sighs and nods, letting fall into the water and fall through the expected darkness. Upon arriving she walks toward the center and feels his presence. She breaths it in, feels him around her. "We're here." Is all she says as she feels the presence of the trickster god himself, one of the People. He'd been in her dreams, in her mind, touched her very soul with his presence to draw her here. She passes out and lays upon a small bed of furs.<br> <br>Angus doesn't even blink as she watch Angelily fall into the water and disappear. "Well guess its my turn then. Hope you brought a swimsuit." She walked right up to the edge and turned around to salute Anbessa, sticking her tongue out as she does, and falls back into the water and the darkness. Once within the location her ears flatten once more and she looks around nervously, the memories of the last time flooding back to her as she was taught the secrets of the trickster. She then turns looking for the coyote who brought then here..and is utterly shocked to see her passed out on the bed of furs.<br> <br>Anbessa lets out a loud yelp as he watches Angel fall into the water, the Talakai's eyes openning wide as he watches her, then Angus jump into the depths of the lake. After a few seconds, the Talakai snaps out of it with a loud, "Wait for me!" With a quick jump over the edge and a *Kerplunk* as he splashes into the water, he follows after Angus. Not needing to breath has advantages! He reappears at where Angus and Angel end up, the Talakai letting out an annoyed huff as he looks over to Angus. "You both suck." He says, the annoyed Talakai puffing up his cheeks faintly before he notices Angel passed out on a bed of furs. Anbessa quickly cocks his head to the side, then jogs up next to the sleeping Coyote, crouching down next to the unconcious Angel. His ears flatten against his head, covering up the red and black striped nubs of horns on his head in worry as he looks down at Angel.<br> <br>Angelily in her mind sees Coyote, and hears his directions, both of their minds listening to him as he speeks. He tells her of what she is to do, why she is to do it, and what she is to lose till it is done. Angel nods and Lily cries. But the two of them wake up and look to Angus. "You... are one of the People too." She says starting to get up. "You..." She says as she gets fully up and walks over to Angus, "Don't like what is happening to you... and.... is there a lesson you are to be learning from this? Something.... why are you being punished by others who are of the People too..." She asks, then looks back to Anbessa, "We've... been giving a task, and to learn a lesson ourselves." She looks back to Angus, "To help him."<br> <br>Angus blinks in suprise as Angel turns to face her. "Um....yes...yes I am." She didn't move as she looked at both of them before her form shifted, her color starting to lighten in places as her limbs began to change as well. Until she was a full coyote again. Hir head tilts as she continues to talk, and hir hand goes up to touch hir collar. "...to...help me?"<br> <br>Anbessa blinks in suprise as he watches Angel stand up, his ears quietly listening to her... Moreso in confusion than anything. By the time Angus is done shifting though... "Wait a minute here." The Talakai's voice comes across a tad more firm, him raising an eyebrow as he crosses his arms across his chest. "First off... What are we going to be doing? Cause, no offense, I am NOT going to do just some random job for some kinda supernatural being. Last run-in with something even close to 'God-like', my friend was on a pedestal atop of a pyramid in Mexico and he got raped while a giant eyeball was looking down and watching." He says, him tapping his foot against the ground. Obviously has not had a good exprience with the Supernatural. "My hand still burns sometimes..." He mutters, him looking down at his right paw for a moment before shaking his head and looking back up to Angel and Angus.<br> <br>Angelily looks back to Anbessa a moment, "We've been giving a mission, and we will not fail it... we... we can't have our pack back... our children back will we succeed." She says starting to tear up, "Now. This thing.. it is what is causing you so much pain and trouble, lets remove it.." And she works it over finding its clasps and hooks. She undoes it and removes it from Angus, but as the fellow coyote starts to shift forcefully she holds out a hand-paw, her right red eye glowing a bit, "STOP!" And she forces Angus' form to stay as it is. "What are you learning from this? What is this punishment for? Is it just there and not there for a reason? We need to know why you are being punished so?" She says then looks back to Anbessa, "We will not ask you to help if you don't want to.. that would be breaking coyote's rules as well." She sighs, "And thank you for coming out here with us as is."<br> <br>Angus just stares in shock as hir collar is removed....and hir form doesn't change. "How...how did you do that?" Shi asked, already rubbing a hand against hir neck as the collar falls free. "I-I was forced to wear it after I broke a rule in the middle of my initiation as a coyote." Shi then shakes hir head, breaking out of hir stupor you give the other coyote a hug. "I can't believe this.....Thank you."<br> <br>Anbessa blinks in suprise as he watches the two, him cocking his head to the side for a moment... Before he just sighs and shrugs. "Okay, I will come with..." He says, his arms staying crossed in front of his chest as he watches between the two. He gently scratches behind his head for a moment before he looks to Angel, curiously looking over the Coyote before he looks back up to her face. "Though, if you don't mind... Mind explaining a bit more? Really, I am kinda lost." He says, reaching up a paw to awkwardly scratch behind his head... Thickheaded maybe?<br> <br>Angelily holds the collar and Angus' shape change. "And.. have you learned from it, do you know what you even did wrong? How long have you been punished like this." She twists her paw in the air, forcing the 'yote magic upon hir to hold and reverse and give Angus control back again... for now, "Is this punishment ongoing for a reason? Shouldn't the punishment have ended when you succeeded your trial?" She asks then turns to Anbessa, "Coyote was... unusually forward. We are stuck like this, a coyote ourselves, till we pass our test. Simply to learn to fend for ourselves, not to rely on our position, our rank, our orders to get what we want or need. Fail in this... and we will lose our children." Then she looks back to Angus with a slight growl, "Which is why it is important for you to help us help you. We can't command you to, we can only ask, we don't want to lose our pups!"<br> <br>Angus nods, the shock of what just happened already fading as shi takes a step back. "Your not going to lose anything if I have a say in it." Taking a deep breath shi points at the collar. "As I said that thing was forced onto me because I broke a rule. That rule was that I wasn't allowed to speak while I went through my initiation test. My test was to, without help, turn a person of their choosing into a Road runner and then present them to My...'superiors' I guess you could call them." With a sigh shi shrugs. "Supposedly I failed because I didn't present the Road runner to them while both were present."<br> <br>Anbessa nods to Angel as a smile crosses his muzzle. "Well, you know I love your pack. So of course I am gonna help you out... You are my mate after all." He says, his tail swinging quietly behind him as he looks to Angus explain the collar... "That... That really is not fair..." Anbessa mutters, his ears flattening against his head as he looks at the collar. "Wow... Mean..." Anbessa mutters once more, him scratching behind his head as he looks to Angel, his tail now drooping behind him.<br> <br>Angelily growls a moment, "We have to agree with our mate here. You may have broke the rule, but you did as you were required. The punishment should have ended when the lesson was learned and your task completed. Your punishment will end now!" She says keeping the collar, "However... you know our brother right? Miranai? He gets around a lot, and if you don't we know Anbessa there does. Talk to him, and tell him about this thing in every detail. Have him make you one exactly like it, without all the punishing effects. Your form is yours to control. However, you should not walk around without it, less these 'superiors' find you without it and make you have a new one." She holds her head a moment and whines... "Lets get back.. we have.. some work to do." Very unlike her to be so focused, normally Lily would be pulling on Angel to have sex 100 times by now..... even more because Anbessa is around. She looks up at the light, and sighs, departing from Coyote's ground, but not before waiting to hear Angus' and Anbessa's words.<br> <br>Angus knew Miranai well actually, as he built hir the hammer that shi now used. "I will....once again thank you. If you ever need anything from me don't hesitate to ask." Shi looks at them both with a smile. "Both of you, as far as I'm concerned your both family." Shi turns to follow Angel out, a smile still playing on hir muzzle as shi looks at that collar that was no longer around hir neck...<br> <br>Anbessa smiles widely to Angel at the mention of Mira, him nodding his head as he pads up alongside the two. "May as well be getting back anyway. Honestly, at least this gives me something to do... Just walking around Fairhaven's streets every day gets repeditive." He says, him smiling to Angus as his paw pets the top of her head once more. He looks up at the light too to depart from the Coyote grounds, leaving behind a faint echo of a purr that exits his throat as he departs with the two Coyotes.
