The three of you have been given 'adventuring opportunities' by a wolf scientist on fringe of a jungle a ways away. When all of you accepted the task, they sent for a light helicopter to take you to the hut they were based out of while briefing you in route from a portable computer. Kale finishes sketching the flower and puts away her notebook. "Bright blue, glow in the dark, called Jungle finders... Probably because if you find them you know your lost in the heart of the jungle."

The good part about where they landed is they seem to be near a trail. It's kinda narrow, but it looks like it might lead in towards the heart of the jungle. There's one emergency flashlight that can be found with the helicopter. It's not too bright, but it's something at least as the jungle, which had sounded like it was holding it's breath, suddenly exhales and the loud sounds of life come flooding back in.

Kale feels fresh air hit her skin in what feels like forever as the liquid in the plant is drawn into the jungle beast. It clears her head quite a bit, more than enough to cause her to tremble lightly at the gargantuan beast above her trying desperately to look as small as possible.

Mazurek may not be able to escape from the beast, but he knows when it is likely best not to run.  His feet are rooted to the pod's shell again, so he does have some defensive measure to keep still.  As the fluid is drained, all he does is continue to gaze upward at the creature in wonder.

Jonah looks at the beast, trying to blend in colour with the walls of the pod and hoping that the beast will be satisfied by just drinking the oily fluid inside.

Looking down at them, the beast waits for a few moments before it pokes that long tube back into the plant. It goes over Mazurek's head, grasping him around the neck as it starts to pull him up the tube. Looks like this monster was looking for truffles, and look what it found, you! With a strong sucking sensation, it tugs and pulls, ever going upwards and being drawn into the mouth where it starts to taste Mazurek before swallowing.

Kale panicks and begins to flail wildly tears in eyes desperate to pull free and get away

Mazurek groans a little as he becomes the first victim to the creature.  Still, he does not fight the suction beyond the attempt to keep himself rooted in place.  That eventually fails and the creature is treated to the taste of his wondrous plant-like body, mixed with whatever else happens to be covering him.  He does have sense enough to try grabbing onto whatever happens to serve as the creature's tongue before being swallowed, though.

The beast tastes Mazurek again and again before it swallows him down, moving along more muscled passages into it's stomach where the strong acid starts to break down his plant tissues, digesting him slowly as it turns to look between the two left. It settles the eyes on Kale as it grabs her and starts to pull her up that long tube snout.

Jonah takes more offensive tactic on the situation as he lashes his vine-like arms towards the creature's eyes, hoping to blind it for good.

Kale can be seen struggling the entire way  up the snout, muffled blood curdling screams can be heard as she travels up its length "AIIEEEE!"

Mazurek fails in trying to secure himself inside the beast's mouth.  He chooses to instead lay where he has been deposited, for to try to move now would only delay the inevitible.  There is no pain, at least nothing that he could remember, while he is digested.

It's not much longer before the same fate befalls Kale, pulled into the beasts digestive organs and slowly dissolved. The monster closes it's thick lidded eyes, protecting it easily as it grabs the laste tasty treat and starts to pull Jonah up too.

Jonah doesn't try keep himself rooted to the plant like the other two. Instead he quickly releases himself and instead tries to anchor himself on the outer side of the beast's muzzle, going for nostrils or whatever squishier parts he can grasp and hopefully root in

Jonah's actions are futile. This beast evolved to eat the fruit of this plant. It sucks him along as well, digesting him at last. All three of you being digested down to just seeds, a dorment undeath that time passes like stretching onto infinity. It could be days, it could be years, before you 'awake' once more. Each of you in a tank with very nice fertile soil under your feet, your roots getting nutrients from them as the liquid is super oxygenated. Although it feels weird, you feel nearly super human from this nutrient bath you start finding yourselves in.

Jonah rests, pulling energy from the soil and tries to observe his surroundings without a single movement

Mazurek has absolutely no sense in the passage of time, not that he has ever had any when it came to reviving after a while.  Still, this is quite different compared to what he is used to and when he becomes aware of his surroundings again he slowly opens his eyes to look around, gazing upon what he might see.

Kale looks around confused, "What happened? what is going on?, Why am I not at the triage center?"

The wolf scientist moves over towards the three when he taps gently on the glass, "I was worried about you three! After getting shot down, we mounted a rescue operation, but you were nowhere to be found. When that beast ate you, it put off a faint nanite signature that we were able to lock onto, but by the time we found you... well, let's just say, you're lucky you all had seeds." he gives a faint nod. "Rest up while you can. Your payment and some clothes and a ride back home are awaiting you." what he dosn't mention was that while growing, you had been flowering and he had been harvesting it. Once back, talking with friends you'd find out that you were gone about a week and a half.
