Sitting in the third floor lobby in the afternoon sun, Milo smiles and casually read the book in his hands. The Pangolin patiently awaits for the applicants for the sewer job, keeping an eye on the elevator door.

Nicola stalks alongside Rune, curious as to the goings on he suggested attending. She looks on with interest and no small amount of concern, her tail lashing slowly as she watches with attentive interest.

The call was put out, agents were needed, those of solid build and steadfast determination, willing and eager to face the horrors of the city's putrid underbelly. What manner of horrors resided within those fetid depths, gnarled mutants, twisted, pale and bloodthirsty, stalking any and all who would invade their lightless spawning grounds. For one jackal with a thirst for action, for adventure, or perhaps a deeply seeded death wish of some sort, it was like a siren's call. The promise of a worthwhile challenge to test his resolve and his metal alike, he would be among the first to respond to the call. Clad in steel, armed and ready, Otto wanders into the meeting spot and greets their informant with a joyous yip. "Hi there! Here for the sewer mission!" the jackal declares and strikes his plated chest with one armored fist.

Horrid fetid underbellies of the city with unimaginable horrors and who knows what else? "Adventure!" Firecracker calls out happily as she lands atop the armored jackal's head, thrusting a foreleg forward as she stands on the other three. She blinks as she looks around, seeing only one man and her mount so far. "This is the adventure place thing, right?" she whispers to Otto loud enough for everyone nearby to hear anyway.

Meanwhile Nekura comes up in the elevator after having thought to remove her male parts since the last thing she needs to do is have things getting squished while wearing a scubasuit. Trust her she knows from experiences how bad an idea this is. When the elevator door opens the Nightmare wanders over to where the seats are and goes to sit down, wiggles a few times to get comfy and then settles for the time being.

Nephele wasn't one to normally take up these challenges. Certainly, it was likely a poor idea - yet she'd been stuck in a rut. A non literal one. Still, however, the blonde agent might be a touch out of place. Having, still, not adjusted her usual Skade-suit back to its prior shade of color. So as she stepped in, long blonde hair tied back in a ponytail behind her, her glossy and high-tech cobalt suit tightly gripped to her curves, with an unmistakable beauty mark upon her chin... She'd likely look like some sort of cosplay agent than anything else. The thought simply causes her to sigh, regretting already her decision... Though she's there. With her guns strapped to her body, arms folding beneath her gaze as her azure gaze drifts over the gathering group of people. Particularly, a brow twitching at the sight of a certain... horse. Girl. Whom she'd received a plush from far too long ago. Though Nekura as well draws a brief glance as the blonde settles up near a wall.

Anagram comes up the stairs, wearing his new power armor with the helmet under one arm. He looks right at Milo with his piercing blue-green eyes, standing confidently. "Anagram, reporting for the sewer team. I have my suit ready and plenty of useful nanomagics, including a means to map the tunnels." He holds out his free hand and conjures an illusion using nanomagic, detailing a theoretical sewer layout.

Navara had just in the main lobby below. At the call, her ears perked up, and she rushed hastily up the steps. The footfalls were softened by the padding of her paws, but there was still a soft thud with every step. There was an eager anticipation glinting in her eyes and she comes rushing from the stairs. Her fur bristling at the prospect of exploring somewhere new. As she reaches the meeting point, she slows into a trot and then halts completely. Her maw is open slightly as she pants, glancing around at others. Her form only covered in her usual tribal attire.

Rune with that change of focus he'd follow through with Nicola from the shadows, opening his right arm akimbo as a proper gentlemanly escort for her towards the third floor of the agency to find the proper check in point. A quick skim of his ruby gaze soaked in the variety of possibilities before a chill cut across his mind at the last mission he had officially been on, shifting his body to a more... battle ready state. Though as he saw a few faces he'd recognize he'd settle in to Otto's side and took a seat. Though the horse girl did catch his gaze, doubling back as he began with a simple nod to each of his fellow agents. The mainly feline beast shifted the katana and large nano pack on his back along the seat to make himself comfortable, awaiting the mission debrief.

The Pangolin looks over each person as they enter, seemingly inspecting them for the mission. As people greet him, he greets them in return and offers them a seat nearby. Once everyone is settled, he places his book down and gets up. "Welcome everyone to the Sewer Surveillance mission. As you may have guessed from the ad, should you be chosen, you will be journeying into one of the main sewer lines under Fairhaven, and will be tasked to map it out as far as you are able to do so." Milo says as he continues. "You will only be asked to follow one pipe, and are to ignore any crossing lines." he says before looking over the group quickly. "Now then, I have looked over you all quickly as you came in. Due to the pollution within the sewers, we require people that at least are a little bodily robust...so for this mission I will have...you, you, you, you, you and you" he says before pointing at Otto, Nekura, Nepehele, Navara, Anagram, and Firecracker.

He then looks to Rune and Nicola "Thank you for applying, and I will keep you in mind should a mission come up at a later time, but you do not qualify for this mission." With that said, he looks back to the group, first to Anagram "I will keep those Nanomagics in mind, but we will likely need a permanent copy for reference." he says before looking back to the group "With that said, do you have any questions before I continue"

"You bet it is!" The jackal grins and gives the playful pony a boop on the nose. She'd been systematically a part of every one such of these expeditions in the past, quite the loose cannon that one. As the room fills with more and more faces, some unfamiliar, uncertain, perhaps hesitant but not fearful. T'was common to see such a wide assortment of agents with varying sizes, builds and loadouts, each unique in their own way, some stout and firm, others charming... beguiling even. As they swarmed in, one could feel the tension in the air, shifty looks being exchanged here and there, very few bothering to actually speak out their reason for being here.

The jackal opens his maw to greet a few of the others, but was shorty cut off once their informant sits them down and delivers the awful truth. It was clear that the entire party would be unable to crawl into the confined sewer system, they'd have to be pruned, or separated into two groups. The news came like a flash of lightning, so sudden... but Otto didn't question the decision. It wasn't his place to do so. Leaning forward on the table, he nods and casts a glance over the others seated nearby, before snapping his gaze back onto the pangolin. "Clear out the main pipe, map it down and don't muck bout the side passages. Gotcha." the jackal nods and looks up at his head, where Firecracker was likely still sitting. "Looks like we're in."

Not that Nekura is surprised she got chosen for another sewer mission after being in one before though she ends up peering over at the others that were likewise chosen before going :| at Firecracker. How do they keep ending up on the same missions? She doesn't raise a paw when the Pangolin asks about questions and instead waits to see if anybody else has any.

Nephele would blink once, a hint of surprise flickering across her face at the mention of being picked - not the person she, herself, likely would've picked, frankly! The body-suit clad would absently shifting her stance subtly as she moves slowly towards the seats, settling down before the man giving them their mission. "Sewers," she mumbles with a thoughtful pursing of her lips. Her eyebrows knitting together for half a second in thought as one leg absently crosses over the other. A faint breath escaping as she wrinkles her nose at the thought - though it's not like her suit wasn't designed to be water-tight. A casual glance spared towards Otto and the rest, lips pursing - had she seen him before? Giving her head a small shake that causes her hair to gently bounce and brush over her face, she'd speak up, too. "Any provisions? Or do we bring our own?" Likely the second, she'd guess. But maybe gas-masks were to be issued - surely, RSX would've. A faint sigh follows suit after while she glances towards Nek, then Firecracker. And eventually back.

Anagram dismisses his illusion, then points to the back of his neck. "Recording Data with Data nanomagic, hooked to my comm with Interfacing nanomagic. I can artificially create an eidetic memory, as long as I'm not creating an illusion or other trick while I'm at it." He gives a charming smile, but his strong gaze to the rest of the people attending speaks of his ego.

Navara glances over all the various faces as she gets ahold of her breathing. So many of them she hadn't even met at all yet. Though, there were a few she recognized. Just a few. Her gaze turned to that of the Jackal and the pony on top of them, flashing a brief smile. Stepping off to the side, she sat her tauric form against one of the walls. She blinks, a bit astonished on how quickly the team was chosen out. Furrowing her brows, she tries to think of any questions she might have, and shakes her head. "None so far...." Rune had waited patiently. Though considering his constitution he'd nod politely. He hadn't been an expert in these things but knew he had an opportunity for growth. That said he'd take it with stride. Recognizing the point of order and an area of weakness that he would still have to overcome. With a soft sigh he'd nod appreciation to the point again and left his baritone to pour through. "Thank you. I'll keep on the look out for a place to take action. Good mission."

Nicola watches the others, those who were already there and those who arrived after. She has an inquisitive gaze, curious and alert, before she hears the group being addressed and turns to listen, one hand on her hip as she does. She doesn't seem surprised that she isn't selected for the mission, being both a stranger and ill-equipped for the mission, but it's clear she feels bad for Rune, assuming that his arrival with her has set back his own chances for selection. "Hey," she murmurs softly, touching a hand to the other feline's arm. "Thanks for bringing me here and I'm really sorry if they turned you out because they thought you were babysitting." She waves a hand to everyone with a cheerful smile, "Good luck, keep us all safe." she says before backing up a step and smoothly turning on her heel to continue walking away. Firecracker greets each person that comes in after her with a bright smile and a happy wave, rotating this way and that as she stands on Otto's head. The movements make tiny little taps on his cranium as her hooves move about under her, but she's so small he might not even feel them!

Finally, everyone is assembled and the team is made! "Woohoo!" the Pegasus cheers, pumping a foreleg in victory! "Oh, but we can't go exploring all the twisty turny pipes and stuff? Awwww..." she groans with mild disappointment, even as her little rump starts to wiggle waggle atop the jackal's head in her seat. Milo stepped to the side as he heard Nepehele's question. "The corporation didn't think much in the way of Provisions are required as the mission shouldn't take more than a day. However, we are supplying you with torches and some map recording equipment, though I believe that is not required from what had been said." he says before offering the three torches he has to people, plus matches and the map equipment. "If there are no other questions, the record point is listed in the front page and is easily reachable from the sewer entrance, so you may begin." he says with a smile.

Otto rises from his seat and reaches out to grab one of the torches. "I'll be taking this, and moving in the front line in case we get ambushed." he states decoratively, then tucks the torch under the bandoleer covering his armor for easy access, and placing his matches within one of the free spaces upon that very bandoleer. His eyes scan over the people he'll be working with, a warm smile crossing his face as he adds "Cartography however is not one of my strong suits, so if an experienced survivalist among us could handle the actual mapping, that would be most beneficial." the jackal clasps his paws and looks up at Firecracker, chuckles quietly and looks back at their informant "No more questions." he states boldly and strikes his chest-plate with one armored fist "I'm ready! Heading out once everyone else is as well. I'll meet you all at the entrance." the stoic canine declares, then moves off with a heavy footfall towards the door.

Not that Nekura had any questions and never really does given she finds it more fun to 'learn' things as she goes. Either way the Nightmare goes to follow the others now that they're free to go to the sewers. At least not needing to breathe means she won't notice the stench like the suckers who need to rely on oxygen. Nephele looks to Rune and Nicola will a small hint of a frown as they're dismissed. Though would politely nod to the pair. "Sorry," she'd mumble to the group. Yet she'd nod to Milo's words even as she'd clear her throat and cast her glance to the side, towards to others. "...Nephele, agent at..." Wait. Was this a Zephyr only mission? She'd immediately cut off as she studiously looks elsewhere for a second. "Pleasure." At least she's social! Would, happily, acquire one of the torches, however, with a simple nod. Though her nose would wrinkle at the very, very old tech they were apparently being forced to use. Because burning oxygen underground was such a great idea! As people begin to stand, she too would lift off her seat, straightening. "You must gather your party before..." She'd mumble, turning the torch over in her hands. Anagram slips his helmet on, a 'hiss' as it seals shut. Then with a wave of his hand the power armor seems to shimmer, Anagram using Disguise nanomagic to make himself appear to wear his usual jeans with no shirt. The subtle sound of the power armor's servos can still be heard as he moves though. "I'll take a torch." he says, taking one in hand with the starter matches in the other. He then waits for everyone else, following behind once everyone else is ready. Navara rises from her seat, striding over and claiming the map equipment. Tucking it all, into her large nanopack, she turns to Anagram. "I'll help you out in your mapping of the tunnels using the equipment provided. Between the two of us, I'm confident we'll get a good idea of the layout." Bringing her gaze around, the room at her team-mates, she gives them all a nod of approval and trust.

"Oh! So I don't haveta do this then?" Firecracker asks as she does... nothing. She blinks a couple times before giving her head a few vigorous shakes. "Hang on..." she says, knocking on the side of her head a couple times before dual cones of light shoot out from her eyes to illuminate the area in front of her. "There we go!" she giggles, light cones moving around this way and that as she looks around.

Your Journey into the sewers is as expected quiet, as would be with this sort of party with the weak Ferals in town. Reaching the enterance, you work your way down to the Sewer level and from looking at the map, you are able to figure which pipe that Milo had referenced. As you begin to walk, you start to smell what should be all too familiar of a Sewer, a wafting stentch of mildew, water and waste sliding into your nostrils, trying to upset your body.

THUD! Otto's heavily armored foot strikes the ground as he comes to a full stop, the knightly canine still with Firecracker perched on his head. He surveys his surroundings and his team before they venture into the fetid depths of the sewer system. Perhaps their venture would not be as perilous as he'd wanted, but it was honest work... and who knew. Deep down he craved something to go wrong, a cave-in a flash flood, something to push them out of the god damned comfort zone. "Here we go." he mumbles as they descend into the abyss.

The stench of decay is readily apparent, and the canine thinks for a moment to halt his breathing, but ends up just sucking it up and dealing with it. After a few breaths, it really wasn't that bad. With firecracker lighting the way, he didn't need to light his torch... just yet. The jackal kept his eyes peeled, ears perked and senses sharp for anything that might want to jump at them. He'd taken point, steel-clad fist resting atop the hilt of his blade, ready to react at a moment's notice. "Everyone alright back there?" he calls out to the rest of his team.

Having been in the sewer before Nekura knows what to expect and doesn't end up bwarfing everywhere upon arrival to the plate leading downwards. Instead she just follows after the others for the time being though she decides to be in the back of it. When you're this much of a feral horniness magnet it pays to be the one that will get poked with a different kind of spear for the good of the team.

Anagram follows behind, making note of where everyone is going. He doesn't light his torch either, keeping it in hand. Thank goodness his suit prevents the stench that is obviously effecting everyone else, but now he can't smell anything. Then again, it also means there are no scents from women in heat to distract him either. So he just stays near the middle of the group, letting everyone else worry.

Nephele would sigh faintly as her introduction went on deaf ears - but honestly, people probably just weren't interested in socializing with a mission at the ready. Clearing her throat, she'd simply stand and move to follow along with just the tiniest, subtlest tug at the form-fitting suit she wore. Following behind the bulkier Jackal as the rest go about arriving at their destination. When then first enter the sewers a vivid wince appears upon the blonde's face as she mutters. "...Great." At least before her entire body becomes a set of power armor - sort of. Not exactly. But a certain infection spreads across her body, and all too soon she's sealed in glossy metalic armor, an lithe exosuit glued to her curvy frame. Simply her head visible for the time being.

Firecracker sits atop Otto's head, bobbing side-to-side happily with each beat as she hums a jaunty adventuring tune that may or may not be one associated with a certain 8-bit plumber. "Hm-hm hm-hm hm-hm... Hm-hm hm-hm hm-hm... Hm-hm hm-hm hm-hm... Hm-hm hm-hm hm-hm..." she sounds out happily. Her eye beams light the way from atop Otto's head, the little pony acting like a lighted miner's helmet as she rides the jackal. "Oh yeah! I'm Firecracker! What're you guys' and gals's names? Except Nephy, she already said!" she asks, spinning around to look at the others behind her and leaving nothing but darkness ahead for Otto, though she'd turn right back around when someone directed her to. "And Annie!" Firecracker adds quickly.

Navara follow along just behind Otto, trying to stay in the middle of the group. Though, she tries to stand off to the side and make use of the causeways that usually followed the flows of putrid water. It was times like these that she was thankful that her large tauric body gave her some clearance off the ground. At least...a little bit. Once they reached their intended start point, Navara started pulling out the mapping equipment, and peering along the tunnels they were going down. "Best get started on the mapping from here..." Her gaze turned behind her, flicking her gaze to Nephele. Then, slowly to the others she had yet to meet. "The name's Navara by the way." A chuckle reverberates from her throat as she smiles at Firecracker, admiring their usual enthusiasm.

As you continue down the pipe, you reach a crossroads where a connecting sewer line crosses the one you are journeying on, with your line going down a slope, with a steel walkway down on the other side of the connecting line. As noted by Milo, Zephyr has requested you follow this line, so you will have to come back to the other one at a later date. Coming up to the crossing point, you see that whatever there was for a bridge across has collapsed in time, and the water of the line is moving at a steady but Fordable pace.

"Fire..." Otto looks up at his scalp and reaches up to turn the pony's head forward so that she could illuminate the path... "Thanks..ah shit." the jackal growls once he sees what lies directly before them. He turns back to his team and clasps his paws. "Welp, collapsed bridge up ahead." he stands aside and gestures at the obstacle ahead of them so that all could see. "I guess we could wade through, but I am not looking to get soaked just yet..." he goes on to mumble "Especially in piss." That said, the jackal picks Firecracker up off of his head by the tail and lets her down onto Nekura's scalp, then gestures at Anagram "Hand me the end of your rope. I'll secure a line so that we can all get through safely." Once he has one end of it, the heavily armored jackal asks the rest to clear a short running path for him.

He ties the end of the rope around his left arm, then grinds his feet into the ground a few times, rolls his shoulders and rushes in a frenzied dash towards the edge of the obstacle! With a thundering stampede, his heavily armored feet carry him to the edge, where he takes a mighty leap with all his strength, and easily clears the distance. *THUD* he lands on the other end, feet first, then head, torso and legs as he performs a forward roll to kill his momentum. It was nearly pitch black where he was, and all he could see was his team on the other end. Grabbing his torch, the jackal strikes a match and ignites it, then holds it aloft in one hand, his other gripping the rope for the others to use should they want to ford across. "Alright, one by one!" he instructs, and awaits to see what the rest do.

Wheeeeeee! Nekura jumps across to the other side without any problem though if any ferals were watching they'd get a good show when her mare parts wobble from the landing. Not that she does much to help 'tame' the motions since the Nightmare is in heat right now. Of course she doesn't seem to notice her tail is currently fanning this problem down the passages either. It has a mind of its own after all!

Anagram smiles as Otto takes the end of the rope he handed over. Once Otto and Nekura jump over, Anagram eases himself down into the channel, using the rope to guide his path. Though he slips a bit with the bottom being slick, having a rope to hold keeps him upright and gets him across. He raises himself up onto the opposite side, then waits to see if anyone else is using the rope before he puts it away.

Nephele slowly moves at a steady step, her armored heels tapping lightly against the concrete as they delve deeper, a hint of a suggestive sway to her movement - she can't help it, damnit! Her focus, however, is quite clear as she narrows her blue gaze, darting about in the dim flickers of light provided by Fire. "Hello again," she'd remark idly to the tiny pony. Noting Navara's presence, she'd discreetly eye the woman for a second, a little marveled by how the busty woman can move down here. "Perfect." Letting out a heavy breath, she reaches out for the rope before soon following in Anagram's wake. Thankfully her bodysuit... and her sexy-exosuit keep her quite warm and not wet as she heads for the other side!

Firecracker's head is turned about to focus back on the path in front of them, just to illuminate their first obstacle! "Oooo-oohh~!" her little sound of astonishment changes into one of surprised pleasure as she is lifted by her tail and planted onto the nightmare's head. Hearing that they're supposed to go one-by-one, the Pegasus hops off Nekura's head as she leaps across, hovering in mid-air as she gets her beams of light tracking each person as they cross. Finally, when her turn comes, she flutters over to the rope and lands on top of it, folding her wings to her sides and trotting across happily as it floats on the surface of the water until she can hop back up on top of Otto's head on the other side. "Challenge complete!" she announces with a giggle, plopping her rump back down in her seat as her light guides everyone else across, then turns to light their path once more.

Navara takes stock of the ruined bridge over the junction. Striding back a ways to give herself a good running distance. Coiling down low to the ground, she focuses on her target of the other side. In a burst of speed, she rushes down the causeway. Just as the length of wall beside her comes to an end, she leaps and bounds off the wall in a spiral. Gracefully, she leans into her landing. Her legs bend low to the ground to absorb most of the shock. Letting her back arch up elegantly, She purrs with a smug look on her face, pleased she accomplished the feat. It's all the more evident by how her tail swishes behind her.

As the group finishes crossing, they could hear the slight sounds of moaning from the sewers, likely from the pheromones that were released. Those that have been down this sort of way before would know that the Ferals here are of the not so scary variety and thus will probably need to be seeked out. Stopping for a brief moment, Navara and Anagram work on the mapping the area and are able to make a easy to read map of the first area, including where the crossing is.

Continuing ahead, You reach a corner in the tunnel, and come across a problem. The walkway on your side of the sewer has fallen into disrepair, as bricks and much of the corner of the walkway has collapsed and is now a pile of earth, rock and rubble. Looking around it, you see open path on the other side. Once the others make it across safely, the jackal pulls in the rope and hands it back to its owner. "Thanks." he flashes a smile and pats Anagram on the back. As he passes by Nekura, he instinctively gives her ass a swat before moving on. Once they set off again, the jackal takes point and proceeds along with the party towards their next... "Oh, amazing." his brow furrows once the obstacle comes into view. "More rocks that are out of place."

Setting the torch aside for a moment, the jackal gestures for his team to take a step back. He loudly cracks his finger joints and then assaults the rubble head-on, fists making short work of the stones, collapsing the blockade by moving the larger stones out of the way and flat out bashing past the remainder of the debris with several swings of his plated fists.

With the pathway cleared, he retrieves his torch, but as soon as he realizes that the ceiling was about to give, the canine acts before he thinks. He stampedes right through the opening he'd made for his team, and manages to get to the other side before...

Nekura tries to follow after Otto through the hole he made and ends up buried under the resulting collapse with only her feet sticking out. She is :|ing o hard right now even if no one will be able to tell.

Anagram looks in amazement. "That's not going to be good." He grabs hold of Nekura's legs and starts pulling, the sound of straining servo motors heard from his suit. "Can use some more help here." he commands, looking over to the people with him. Their little extra help and some extra heroic effort worked, pulling Nekura free. "That was not smart of you." He chides.

Nephele sighs faintly as they head in deeper. Keeping her eyes peeled as best she can as the group seems to handle on obstacle after another. Quite deftly, too. Feeling more as someone a long for the ride then anything else, she'd lift her armored fingers to tug absently at the collar of her suit before the light reveals the unpleasant truth of wreckage in their way. "...Really." Yet even before she can react, Otto's already sprinting... nay, charging through! Demolishing rubble and grit with seeming ease. There's a second where she considers following - and in that moment, Nekura is rushing through! Only to have the celing collapse right a top her. "Of fuc-" She hurries over to Anagram's side, glancing to him momenatrily before she grabs ahold of a shin. Pulling. Tugging. And struggling to help him get her own.. which, apparently, does work. "To be frank," she breathes after a moment. "...Maybe we shouldn't be breaking walls and acting like American heroes without telling people, 'Oh, hey, I'm about to potentially start a cave in'," she mutters.

Firecracker clops her little forehooves together happily in applause as the rest of the team makes it through the treacherous water, ringing out hollow little noises as they connect repeatedly. And then the adventure continues!... until they reach a blocked passage just around the corner.

Still riding atop Otto's head, the pint-sized pink pegasus adds sound effects to Otto's punches as she cheers him on, "ORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!" Then the shifting sounds from above, then the sprinting jackal as the pony sticks to his head for a ride to the other side as the ceiling collapses behind them! "Weeeeeeeeee!" she shouts out as they run, making it safely to the other side before she turns around to see the rubble behind them. "Hey... Where'd everybody else go?" she asks her mount with a tilt of her head.

Navara's fur is bristling as she stares at the caved in part of the passage. Her eyes glance to the other side of the walkway, thinking it a better route. Though, by the time she looks back, Otto is checking headlong through the rocks. Her eyes widen in surprise, stepping back a few paces as she feels the tremors as that portion caves in again. Her legs tenses, and readying for the danger. To her horror, she watches as Nekura bravely, and foolishly chases right behind Otto. As the rocks settles, Navara rushes forward to help the others pull Nekura from the rocks. Cradling Nekura in her arms, she brings Nekura to rest on against her rows of breasts that were clean on her torso. Looking to the others, she remarks. "I can heal her. Just give me a moment." Looking down to Nekura, she hold her protective and presses them to a nipple. Her words come out tenderly. "Drink from me. It will help heal your wound." She bites her down on her lower lip, huffing softly as Nekura starts. Turning to Nephele she nods with a sigh. "That's something we both agree on. Don't need to entomb ourselves underground." Turning back to Nekura she focusing on her nanomagic, getting the nanites to work on quickly mending Nekura back to health as she suckles.

Well, that certainly happened. "Shit, shit shit SHIT." the jackal snarls once he realizes someone tried to follow him and got potentially crushed. "YOU LOT ALRIGHT? Fuck, I didn't expect this to come crashing down like that, shoddy ancient dilapidated tunnels!" he snarls, heavy boots audibly stomping around. Once he catches wind that the victim had been pulled out, the canine breathes a sigh of relief. "Tend to her injuries, I'll get this cleared out the slow way, since we got time now, apparently."

CLANK went Otto's plated mitts as they meet his face in a moment of self-loathing. He looks up at Firecracker and sighs "Well, I dun fucked up, huh?" he mumbles to her before getting to work on clearing the blockade. Stones shifted and merged, others moved out of the way, the ceiling re-sealed as best it could and little by little, a pathway protected by stone pillars was formed out of the rubble. By the time the jackal was done, it was a safe passageway, designed to last them for as long as they needed, but not forever.

Crossing over to the other side, the canine moves in to examine the injured. Thankfully, she looked right as rain. "Whoever healed 'er, good work. So uhm..." Sorry? Well... "Round of ale on me once we are done, right? Let's keep moving." Close enough... With a torch in hand, Otto takes point once more and proceeds down the path they were supposed to take. Hopefully they would encounter more than just some out of place rocks.

Anagram makes his way across, keeping to the middle of the group. He thinks to himself on how long it will take to clean off the powered suit, and then remembers he has minions to do the literaly dirty work. Looking back to the fixed passageway, he makes a mental note on his electronic map that the section of tunnel will need better reinforcing in the future. Nephele sighs in relief as they manage to pull and drag the poor woman out, and Navara's is quick on the healing. Or at least, maintaining the injured woman. She winces a little at the likely bruises and possible blood as she shakes her head a little. Pursing her lips, she'd glance up as stone begins to shift. And shape. Clearing with ease until her gaze settles back towards towards the woman and she begins to stand. Backing away. "I'll leave her to you," she murmurs before glancing to Anagram. "Quick thinking." She'd compliment as she steps back, arms folding over her chest as the way is taken care of quite neatly after the brief mess that was caused.

Firecracker shrugs to Otto's question. "Nah, everything's fine!" she answers once the rubble clears and the nursing scene is revealed on the other side. With nothing much else to do now that the obstacle is clear, she once again announces, "Challenge two complete!" With that, she points her eyes forward, thrusting her hoof forward to adventure!

Navara gives Otto a stern glare as Otto comes checking on them. She doesn't say anything, noting that he had just made a passage for them that seemed safe, but she was still cradling Nekura in her arms protectively. Behind her, Navara's tail lashed back and forth as a warning. Sighing as Otto returned to the front, she looked over to Nephele with a grim smile. "Nephele, watch my back while I take care of her." Putting her map equipment in her nanopack with one hand, she slowly stands. It takes a bit of effort, but she manages to keep Nekura held tightly to her chest. Her many rows of breasts jiggling slightly with each footfall. As she passes through the pillars, she watches the ceiling carefully as a precaution for another collapse. Once past, she follows the others, and tries to remain in protectively in the middle of the group as Nekura recovers.

Continuing on after a while, and doing some more mapping you pass down a corridor you stop as you watch the sewer line drop down several feet, as you enter a room where several lines come together, ending in a swirling Whirlpool at the bottom, pouring all the water into a dark void. Looking about, you see the pathway continues ahead along a metal bridge, and into what looks like a tunnel stairway. However, it seems someone left the bridge up, and thus you are looking at a deep crevasse.

Once then next obstacle became apparent, Otto could only sigh deeply and look around. Surely there was a way to lower the bridge from both ends, right? What sort of moronic engineer would make it so you can only have access from one end? Well, no one apparently, as a control console came into view after looking around some. It was in a state of disrepair, though that was something easily circumvented. It is unclear what Otto does with the console, but he works quickly and the device promptly springs into life, the controls active under his touch. *SLAM* the bridge comes down, creating a path for them to walk upon. It did not look very sturdy, though... "That was a lot easier..." he shrugs, then takes the first few steps over the structure, headed towards the other side.

Nekura goes to wait until Otto is done fapping at the console or whatever he's doing. When the bridge falls down the Nightmare follows across it though she is still :| facing over earlier with the rubble. Hopefully a nice feral will help make the mare less grumpy.

Anagram waits for Otto and Nekura to cross, making sure to keep it at one person at a time. Just in case his luck fails, he uses his rope to tie himself to one end of the span, makes it about half way, then slips on the slick bridge and goes tipping over the edge. The rope does exactly as intended, holding Anagram as he hangs under the bridge, unable to pull himself back up. He shrugs like there is no problem. "Can someone pull me up now?"

Nephele would take a deep breath as they turn from an exploration crew, to a 'let's fix the sewers' crew. Her nose wrinkles at the thought (and the terrible smell around her) as she eyes the rest of the group, though continuously looks to the downed woman with some worry. Yet when Navara asks her to watch out for her, she'd nod, briefly. Lips pursing. She... nervously.... did glance down. Once, of course. Just once. Though thankfully it didn't seem as if Navara was going to force-feed the poor woman milk to 'heal' her. There's a hint of an embarrassed blush upon her face. Yet soon their group is advancing again! Carrying on wards past the fixed ceiling. And then to ah... "This is a lot hard-" Nope. Otto's fixed that too. She blinks several times with a tilt of her head. "...You really ought to just be hired full time." She'd simply shake her head in slight disbelief as she'd move to carefully follow. Yet she'd blink, shocked, as Anagram falls just ahead of her. "One... one moment!" She'd bite her lip, struggling to maintain her balance - yet, thankfully, she does. She'd head towards the rope to wrap her hands about it, tugging with a grunt!

"Ooooo, fancy schmancy," Firecracker observes as she watches Otto make his magic with the machine, giving him ample lighting to do so at the same time. After he finishes pushing all the right buttons and the entrance is left wide open for their passage, she once again again announces "Challenge three complete!" She keeps her lights on the bridge as the others cross and Anagram falls, held only by the safety rope he tied for himself! "Oh! That looks fun! But we gotta keep mappin' the map!" she happily giggles, hopping off of Otto's head to aid in pulling the power-armored man up with Nephele via biting the rope and pulling upwards. Once Anagram is safe once more, the pony returns to her seat and lights the way again!

Navara blinks as Nekura off-handedly removes themself from her arms. Not so much as a word, or anything in thanks for her help. Gently massaging a bosom after the recent stimulation, she carefully makes her way towards the bridge. By the time she has to chance to get a get a good look at it, Otto has already fixed the control. The sound the metal bridge makes as it clatter down, causes Navara to jolt. She steps a half-step shaking her head, and flicking her ears as they recover from the sound. A chuckles rumbles from her throat in amusement at Nephele's quip, calling out to Otto as he goes across the bridge. "Hey Otto, ever thought about being hired for this full time are do you already make living off stuff like this?" Anagram's crossing fills her with worry, but she hesitantly paws at the edge of the bridge. Being as large as she is, she worries about crossing while two others are on it. As Nephele pulls Anagram with some help from their little pony friend, she relaxes with a sigh of relief. Once everyone else is across, she gracefully makes her way over the bridge. Nothing elegant, but agile as ever.

You continue on down the sewer line without much more trouble, easily mapping the path as you go. The line twists back and forth, and snake about, as the sewer works it's way to what you hope is it's exit. It seems like you have been walking forever, when the silence is broken by a scream of denial coming from the bend in the line ahead.

The jackal waited patiently for the others to cross, standing at the other end yo hold the bridge in place in case it topples over while Anagram hangs off the side. Once the situation is resolved, he flashes Nephele a grin and pulls out his badge, the insignia of a full time Zephyrian agent appropriately dispatched on a Zephyrian mission. "I AM hired full time." he chymes, winks slyly and puts it away into one of the many pockets lining his bandoleer. "No, I don't really do this to make a living, I sell armaments to the highest bidder for that. This I do to stay sharp, and sometimes because I am contractually obligated..." he grits his teeth and sighs out his nose, clearly not liking what he'd just said "Something I need to look into quite soon, but that's besides the point." He gives Anagram a pat on the back and gestures towards the path they are supposed to take. "Let's keep moving."

Some time later, or rather long enough that Otto's torch burns out completely and he is left relying on Firecracker for light, they end up following a trail, undisturbed by any obstacles or noises, until... "What the fuck?" the jackal's ears perk up "You lot hear that? Sounds like..." he reaches for his chainsword and draws it from its holster "...trouble." Nekura on the other hand hears possible chances to actually do something that doesn't involve getting squashed under falling debris or barely managing to get across a stable-ish bridge. As Otto says about it being trouble ahead though the Nightmare pushes around him and goes to walk ahead of the jackal. She's good at distracting others with her ED attack but that requires people not be close enough to get hoof-kicked when she's twirling around to it and on this small walkway that would be pretty easy to do. Of course the real question is whether she'll find the noise first or her heat scent will hit whoever is there first.

Once Anagram is helped up and across, He takes his rope down and puts it away again. He doesn't seem to be doing much help besides his 'mapping program thing' he has set up, and smiles half-tired when Otto gives him a pat on the back. His adrenaline kicks in once trouble is heard, and he sends up his flamethrower power off to the side, letting the few seconds of bright light keep the tunnel completely lit up.

Nephele shakes her head gently in slight disbelief. Annoyed? Irked? Likely at her own uselessness. Though she'd managed to help someone get back onto his feet. "C-careful," she breathes, staring at the Anagram nervously for a second before soon straightening. She continues the rest of the way over the bridge. Sighing to herself, she'd shake her head before soon tensing at the sound of a scream. She doesn't say anything for the longest time, simply following carefully behind Otto.

Using her lighty eyes to see the way, Firecracker continues to ride her mount to the farthest parts of the sewers. However, a shouting ahead causes her tiny ears to flick in its direction and a tilting of her head in curiosity. "Huh? What's that?" she asks, hopping off Otto's head to go investigate with the other mare.

Navara's eyebrows raise as she sees Ottos's badge. A chuckle of amusement rumbles from her chest, enjoying a bit of mirth at the fact Otto was already hired full time. Pleased to be on the other side of the bridge, she shakes out the unnerving feeling of walking over an abyss. Her ears perks up, as they hear the sound of voices down the tunnel some time later. Amber eyes scanning the passage, she prowls low to the ground. At the slightest provocation, every muscle in her body prepares to pounce. Deep in her chest rumbles a low growl. Even as the others wander forward to see, Navara is prowling right behind to see what they will find.

Rounding the corner, Nekura and the others would find two Ember Warriors who are attempting to have their way with a Goo Girl. Having smelled the deep scent of Nekura and Anagram's bright flash of light as they approached, the two look up to them before one of them says. "Hello there! Come to see some entertainment?" it asks "Or perhaps to be part of it with that smell?"

The jackal shields himself from the sudden burst of flames, for it was rather sudden. His attention is drawn away to those who move before him, and knowing that Fire was his source of light at the time, well... *thud thud thud* his heavy footfall announces his presence as he moves over to check things out. Once he notes the scene before him, his first instinct is to draw his firearm and load the two disgusting mutants full of lead, yet for some reason he felt compelled... not to, as though some sort of invisible force was staying his hand, controlling him like a puppet. Okay, no. His reasoning was never to attack unprovoked, but you get the idea. The canine decides to take the backseat this time, purely on a hunch.

While the others deal with Ember Warriors in whatever way they desire Nekura goes to sneak over towards where the Goo Girl is currently at and tries to liberate her. Unlike last time she tried to steal someone's lay the Nightmare actually got a lot better at the act.

Anagram approaches the ember warriors, giving a wicked smile. He envelops them in pure fear using targeted emotions nanomagic, then begins to speak in a commanding voice. "I'm taking over. Either give in to my rule, or flee from me." He stares them both in the eyes, looking quite sure that he'd kill them if they don't listen.

Nephele ends up gritting her teeth a little at the sounds. Someone... was actually being assaulted? Her body vibrates with an urge to sprint ahead, yet that hadn't worked oh so well in the past. She contents herself to simply remaining with the group... until she stares in disbelief at the pair. "How... wonderful," she mutters in vivid annoyance. And maybe, just maybe, the slightest hint of arousal - what?! Don't judge her! Yet before she even can reach for a gun... yep. Someone's dealing with it. "...." She doesn't say anything as she simply observes Anagram's attempt.

No words come from Firecracker's mouth in reply to the ember warrior's question. Instead, she simply engulfs herself in an aura of pink flames as she charges through the air towards the one that spoke and gives him a mouth full of hoof sandwich. "Didn't anyone ever teach you that 'no' means 'no'?!" she shouts at him before glaring at the other with rage in her eyes, a promise of what's to come if he challenges her.

Navara looms behind Anagram, rising up to her full height. At least, as high as she could go within the tunnel. Amber eyes glinting in the fire light, she rumbles with a menacingly low growl. Prowling around next to Anagram, she becomes a fearsome bulkward of mass between her team. To emphasize the points both Anagram, and now Firecracker have made, Navara lets out a roar. Her eyes locking intently on the one Firecracker didn't hit.

The two Ember Warrior's faces go pale as they hear Anagrams commands and feel the presence of Anagram and Navara. Scrambiling up, the are about to run as one of them is knocked over by Firecracker's fist as its slammed multiple times in the face with her flaming hooves and falls to the ground with a thud out cold. The other Ember Warrior helps it up and starts to stumble down the hall. "Whatever, you can have her. Wasn't worth the trouble anyway!" it says as they disappear down the hall. With them gone, the Goo Girl looks up to Nekura and the others weekly "Th...thank you..." she says before he passes out in Nekura's arms from tiredness.

Once you guys are sure the Goo Girl is stable, you continue down the path, until you find a wall which the water keeps going but there is no pathway. Off to the side, you see a set of rungs for what possibly is a exit hole, but in attempting to open the hatch, it seems to be locked from the outside.

The maps well referenced, you all return to Milo's office with your information and with the Goo Girl in Nekura's arms. He thanks you for the help and upon seeing the goo girl, requests if he could speak to her for a few moments after she is looked at by thoes in the medical wing. Nekura complies and allow for it. Once the interview is completed, Milo thanks you for your help, and lets you on your ways.
