Though not present himself, Colonel Voss sent out messages and requests that civic minded people join up with some of his crew to investigate and possibly salvage what may from the building as Eureka will benefit in the long run from renewed power.

Edel didn't need much convincing to join in on a salvaging mission. She practically lived for that kind of work! As she shuffled around the plant, though, a frown formed on her face. "This place isn't in the best of shape... Though I suppose that's to be expected," she muses to herself.

Knowing full well what the group was looking for, and having spent many hours in this building and the one next door, Savi was eager to begin the shakedown of the building. "It's old." Savi says in agreement with the other soldier. "But all we need is the design. Any scrap of paper, any working machine. If we cant get all the parts we can figure out ways to make more." 'kicking over a small piece of debris with a tendril the plant covers her face completely in her Shemagh. "I'm just worried what might be living in here."

Twitch adjusts her hold on the high powered rifle that was usually slung over her back, her eyes darting around and nose wiggling as she keeps an open eye for any scrap... After all, scrapping was what keeps her alive these days, and it is a rare treat to get authorized to scrap a power plant! "Is not bad. More damaged place is, easier is to get scrap and parts." She smirks somewhat as she sends the bolt of her rifle foward with a sharp clack. "Not like we walk into hell."

Tama. opting to fly instead of walk this time, arrives much quicker than before, offering a wave and announcing. "Tama, Night Daggers, it appears I've been autorized to keep working on this mission."

Lotus arrives on the scene with her usual smiling face and a slight swing in her step.

Katalynia arrives to the power plant. Shi smile genially at Sav and Tama as shi made hir way towards Lotus. Shi cuddles up against Lotus keeping hir wings carefully folded to avoided taking up more space than necessary. "Mmm...hey, Save, Tama, the rest of ya'll. Hello, Miss Lotus, its nice to see You here!"

Cookies arrives in her bizarre little techsuit, mocha kitty concealed within. Packed to the brim with prior experience and appropriate nanomagics, not to mention wearing her RSX op badge right on the front of her suit, she's eager to assist with the job, though as it stands she's wordless as she enters the area. That Voss guy sure /seemed/ legit. Still, she nods to Savi, recognizing her almost immediately. Hard to miss the ferocious plant, after all, even when she's being tiny.

With no one on scene to supervise, the group is left to themselves to figure out how to procede. The place had a certain smell to iy...something akin rotting cabbage, but who knows what was causing that. Stale urine and musk here and there...but no signs of feral activity in the open.

But what first?

With hugs and greetings all around, and a brief thought o how not so long ago all these friendly faces seemed strange and unknown, Savi turns her attention to the room. "An office, a storage room. Any kind of record keeping." gesturing to the junk all around the plant continues. "We should see if what we are looking for is already written down, before we decide if we need to start pulling things apart." With a broad sniff at the room she goes on. "Savi also suggests we all stay togethner and mark any important looking machines as we may pass them."

Edel sniffs at the air and shrugs. "Hopefully we won't have any troubles with violent parties." As others begin to show up, she glances over them and gives a little wave. "Ah, I don't think I know... Most of you. Might as well introduce myself! I am Edel." She dips into a little bow before turning her attention back to the room in general. "Schematics would be superb!"

Lotus takes a hold of Katalynia's hand and surveys the group, looking over the familiar forms and lingering a little longer on the unfamiliar forms. She happily hugs Saviante and waves to Cookies with her free hand. "How do you suggest mark them?"

Twitch nods to Savi, looking around the area as she tries to take note of any specific doors that may lead to small rooms or offices. "Am Twitch." Her grip on her rifle doesn't lessen, well aware how relaxing too much while scrapping can mean your end. "Could cut symbol into them." She glances to her knives.

Tama looks aroudn warily "We sould get together some solar panels, i have no doubt that theyd have those here. We should keep an eye out for any instruction manuals on power generation as those would have instructions on how to build wind turbines for sure. We should split up into 3 groups of 2 for expediency, less we just end up getting in eachothers ways, also one group has to be of 3"

Katalynia smiles happily. "Hi, Edel, great to meet you! I'm Katalynia." Shi gives a small curtsy. Shi holds onto Miss Lotus' hand. "Shall we travel in a group? We could cover more ground seprately...but if there are hostiles about that could be problematic." Shi nods in agreement with Tama. "If the facility has any, that would be great. Schematics and instructionswould be equally wonderfully if there's any laying about."

Savi looks up at Tama and frowns beneath her mask. In silent answer to how to mark something she reaches over and runs one finger across the wall twice, leaving a bright X in the stains of time. With a pointed looks towards Twitch she moves more to the center of the room. "Savi still thinks we should stay together, at least for a first sweep."

Cookies finally speaks up. "Standard salvage operation or are we actually trying to get anything up and running again for reclamation? Was not made clear. Can do both," she claims, shifting her weight onto one leg and crossing her arms.

Tama realizing the falw in her plan she hastily revises it "On second tought we need someone who can read through all the manuals and such for the turbine schematics, so make that two groups of 3, if nobody has any objections i volunteer to read through all the manuals and such to find wherever the wind turbine schematics are located as they sould be here, it seems fitting since i suggested it. If you are ok with that then savi, cookies, twitch, you seem to each know eachother so you team up as well, another good reason for me to searchs the manuals, anybody who finds anything report back to me with it."

Lotus smiles at Savi and copies her action, dragging a gooey finger near the 'X'. Her smooth skin quickly picking up the dust and grime, leaving a similar 'x' on the wall. She signals Savi with a thumbs up.

Twitch raises an eyebrow at the pointed look but shrugs and takes a few steps forward. "Twitch not able to read. Will make sure give anything Twitch find then." She looks to Savi, the plant woman knew what she was looking for specifically, and Twitch had no issues following her lead.

Savi nods after a few minutes of hesitation and agrees to the split, but still not liking the idea. "There is a generator there... or most of one. Thats our goal if all else fails." Looking up she points with one hand. "Catwalk above, dangerous but likely leads right to an overseers office." With a motion forawd she indicates the deeper parts of the powerplant. "Two teams, two directions. Take your pick."

Edel scratches her cheek and nods. "I don't mind sticking together, but if we feel it best to split up, I'm okay with that, too!" For now, though, she sticks near Savi. "I will... Not go with the catwalk. I am light on my feet, but not all that light. I don't trust that structure."

Tama claims for adamantly "We arent speaking of failure, failure does not exist, we will succeed because New Dawn recquires us to succeed, Success is recquirement and failure is not an option, remember that"

Katalynia nods. "I should be able to read and help implenent any schematics or manuals we may find." Shi listens to Savi not really having spent time in Eureka much outside the Cow Barn. "Generator...hmmm...that's good to know..." Shi snuggles up against Miss Lotus pondering which direction might be best...

Twitch looks to Savi and gives a smile. "Lead way boss. Know place better then Twitch." She rolls her shoulder, and makes certain her bandoliers of munition is held tightly to her... Nobody want's to lose their ammo, and be unprepared for when they need it!

Eerie silence takes over the building once the talking stops, nothing to be heard but the indistinct dripping of water somewhere.

Cookies cheerfully pipes up, "If the generator is the last thing we're hitting up then I'd like to go on the catwalks first." She shifts again uncomfortably. "Bad idea to split. But I can manage. Good at these things. NICE user. Nanomagic types include techno and data, though are not limited to."

With a shrug Savi turns her attention tot he Catwalk. "Savi will open the way for you." Working her way to the wall, Savi begins to extend her nanomagic tentacles in an attempt to grasp the catwalk from here. "Anyone who is going, grab on." the little plant says, planning to pull the group up like a retractable ladder.

Having come to help keep everyone safe Lotus volunteers, "I'll go this way" She steps closer to Saviate and wraps and arm around her waist.

Edel looks at Cookies for a moment and nods. "The only nanomagic I've got that could possibly be useful is electrical! So... If we need it, I can do it! I'll just look around down here, though. Shout if you need help!"

Twitch flicks her ears and steps to Edel's side, watching the others. "Twitch not good high without wings. Will go low." She nods slighty.

Tama begins looking around the areas the others missed while waiting for them to return with manuals and schematics for her to sift through

Cookies quickly moves to grab onto Savi. This seemed a little silly to her but hey, dumber things have happened. "Catwalk... Should probably hold us. Probably." She listens intently for creaking noises. "Juuust... fiiine."

Positioning herself sligthly to the side (to allow for easier climbs over at the top) Savi grips the catwalk lightly and, at the last moment, alters her plan slightly. With one serious yank down Savi attempts to make sure the whole things wont collapse without a tense climb to get their hops up first, then (barring any structural collapse) begins working the group towards the top.

The catwalk creaks lightly, swinging ever so slightly as if the supports for it were lose somewhere along the way, but it appears to hold.

Tama moves her seach to the general area of the generator searching to see if how it was charged, thinking perhaps shed find some sort of schematics on how it was built or wires leading to how it was charged up if at all.

Edel looks up to the catwalk, for a moment before smiling to Twitch. "Good to have company down here on the ground. Maybe we'll find something useful!" She props her arm up on the pommel of her sword and shuffles off, eyes on the ground, on the wall, and on anything that looks promising.

Cookies takes another quick look at the catwalk but not in any actual detail, more just a cautious glance. "Walk slow. If it starts falling, walk fast. Do not run, heavy footsteps will just make it fall faster." That being said, she continues onwards. "Where did you say this went again, plant?"

Lotus grips Saviante tightly as she ascends to the catwalk.

Twitch turns her attention from the group heading up. She looks around one finale time before reslinging her rifle upon her back. "Everything useful. Just matter how useful is." She turns and goes to rummage through the various junk and rubble that litters the floor... Checking for anything one of the more litterate based persons might find useful.

Looking to Cookies Savi grins. "Savi didn't. But in most places the catwalk is for overseeing, The overseer will have access here to watch the workers. Savi expects an office, but can not promise." Usinging her tentacles, Savi malks slowly, her vines spreading out her weight, and reaching for the rafters in case a flass is inevitable. "Look for any access to anything, even the roof. Leave nothing unturned."

Katalynia watches as Miss Lotus climbs up with Saviante. Gasping for a moment as it looks like the catwalk might give and breathe heavily as it holds for the moment. Shi starts hir own search for manuals or schematics.

The catwalk creaks here and there and at one point there is a gentle *ping* and a gentle clatter as a small pin and primer latch fall to the ground below, but fortunately nothing else takes place.

Tama begins working on the generator, hoping to provide more light to help the others better see what they are doing in hopes that they will miss less, after some tinkering she has it set up so that it should be able to run on fuel, she then changes into an oil baron to provide enough fuel to get the generator running

Hearing the sharp ping Savi grabs onto the catwalk floor with her lehs vines and sends her arms and tentacles out to the left and right, grabbing onto any sturdy structure, they wall, the rafters, pillars, anyting that would provide a grip. Nodding to Cookis and Lotus she whispers, as if even sound could bring it down. "Follow it, find where it goes. Savi will hold up us as much as Savi can. Walk carefully, but Savi suggests you hurry."

Twitch flinches at the sound of the pin snapping, turning on a heel to look up... And sighs in relief when she sees the building isn't falling on everyone. She turns back to looking about the lower level, inspecting the ground around, and below the generator to see if any manuals or publications had slipped under it over time.

The sound causes Edel to quickly turn her attention to the catwalk. "Is... Everything okay up there? If you fall, please try not to land on me, yeah?" That said, she considers Twitch's statement. "I suppose you're right there. Everything has some use, I suppose! Even if it's just breaking it down to be used in other things."

Cookies proceeds with a certain fluid, smooth movement that could only come from training, moving quickly and efficiently without stepping too heavily or too fast. This was the movement of an RSX operative! She's eagerly searching for the nearest opening anywhere, all but praying for it as those awful sounds ring out. "Wherethefuckisthisroom!"

With the lights out searching for rooms isn't impossible, but all that really stands out are the shapes of exit signs, a plaque here and there and the occassional arrough with writing obscured by both dusk and gloom.As luck would have it, Kat does wander into an area that is a series of doors, but what they contain is another matter.

Lotus glides across the catwalk following Cookies, her smooth motion taking her forwards to the nearest door. She turns back and shoots a questioning look at the others with a hand on the doorknob.
