Many years had passed since his awakening, and many grievances were had over the loss of his old life, his family, his friends, his future, everything. During the darkest months of his life, he struggled to adapt, falling victim to many mutant aggressors and manipulators that promised an easy solution, or a distraction from his sorrows. While he refuses to go into detail of his ordeal, he gladly shares how he had managed to eventually douse his grievances by latching onto his old passions. With all the new equipment and resources at his disposal, seemingly endless potential granted by the very nanites that'd uprooted his life, he made a slow but steady recovery, finally putting his past behind him, where it belonged. Eventually, he would adopt a new name, and start a new life with the organization that played the biggest role in his recovery, RSX Solutions.

Today, Otto is classed as a free agent, and given permission to conduct himself in any way he wishes, so long as he earns his keep, he makes sure to keep close and positive relations with his benefactors. Despite that, he does not quite share in their mentality, that any and all mutations are to be frowned upon. He enjoys the company of his mutant companions, and has even gone so far as to mutate himself to the form most closely resembling his favorite animal, though as a result he has had to heavily modify his equipment to suit his now shorter stature, it was worth it in the end! He does his best to remain positive, though his inquisitive nature does make him skeptical, and sometimes rather abrasive. Commanding and critical, he seldom takes orders from anyone, and if he does, he always puts them to question first.

Otto is careful, reserved and nearly obsessive about controlling his urges, driven into such zealous overattentive watch over his bodily needs by his RSX agent training and his need to remain as clear-headed and sharp for the sake of his work, he undergoes daily training to keep his mind in check and body resistant to outside influence by means of building resistances to chemicals and aphrodisiacs alike that could cause him to lose self control. Resistant to most drugs, familiar with the lust-inducing effects of the dedications that cause them, and mentally hell-bent on fighting such influences, he obsessively clings to his calm state of mind to make decisions for himself, rather than have them made for him.

Subtle twitches and a maddening gleam in his eye are detectable, especially while he works on a project of his. Having taken so obsessively to his work, Otto disregards combat training, preferring either to make quick escapes, or permit his drones to do the fighting for him. Even so, his eccentric nature and unwavering dedication to the sciences have made him an asset in the battlefield. His many gadgets and utilities permit him to make improvements to surrounding agents, emboldening them by manipulating their nanites with his N.I.C.E unit, and mending their wounds using his array of medical nanomachines. Otto strives to perfect his craft, and thusly is a pacifist by nature. He prefers not to make enemies, but allies, and while he is aware he can not please everybody, he picks his allies carefully, promising them his utility in exchange for protection.

History

Born and raised in eastern Europe, Octavlian Dimitrov Petrov-Sokolov was born to a modest middle-class family that owned a small workshop in town, Otto's upbringing was actually quite uneventful. His youth was spent helping his father managing and working for the family business, all the while following through on his dream to become an engineer. Mathematics, physics, technical mechanics and electronics were always a strong suit of his, following through each with high grades, he nearly saw himself finally achieve his dream with a doctorate in engineering, but was cut down mere months away from his goal by the events that transpired in February of 2008.
