Astara knocks briefly on the door before entering, ducking through the doorway with a smile on her face. "Hey, Light! I'm here!" She goes over to the living room, and sits herself to the right of the main couch on the floor.

Hisoka soon arrives holding hands with his mate, Nayru. Finding the door open he knocks on the wall instead. "Hey Light, Nayru and me are here." Then he goed in with her. Finding Astara already there, he gives her a smile and proceeds to sit down the couch with Nayru. He lets go of her hand for a moment and proceeds to drape an arm around her. Then leans gently on her. "Hello Astara, Light." He greets them with a warm smile.

Ferus seeing crowded already gathering steps up beside the door frame, and give in a knock. Then fusses with a slightly dirt towel towel she had draped over her tauric back. "Evening Hisoka, Nayru, Astara, Light. So, Light. Got a place I can throw this so it doesn't get dirt everywhere. I got lazy taking in the sight on the river and lost track of time?"

Sleek, tall and garbed in his stylish attire, all the while toting hes new bandoleers, Otto took one final look at himself from the display of his wrist-mounted console. A camera feed coming from a tiny spherical drone circling his person gave him all the information he needed. Fur smooth and shaded onyx, tucked beneath a tux of black, neatly cleaned and devoid of imperfection, covering his new athletic physique, accentuated by a stoic stance and a confident gleam in his eye, yes indeed. "Let's see what miss Ishida paged about, J-N 318b." he states and holds out one paw, as the drone neatly flies in and tucks itself into a sphere, only to be put away in one of Otto's jacket pockets.

The bunny felt around to ensure his possessions were all secured, folded down hismears and stepped forward towards the main door to the residence of the lady in question. He had just caught two of his colleagues entering so, he passed through the door right after them! Nodding politely in greeting, the bunny leans against one of the walls, crosses one leg over the other and starts to fiddle with his wrist-mounted console.

Light ears fully perked up as she watched everyone come in and soon one by one they all did. "Astara, Hisoka, Nayru, Ferus, Otto." She said when she was comming out of the kitchen a bit more accustomed towards the group. She was still in her casual wear but her fur coat was a bit more brilliant this evening after taking the shower she long needed and deserved throughout the day. "I'm glad that everyone could ma-." She pauses for a second and takes a peek out the door to make sure this was everyone for a moment. She then sighed some. "No matter, I guess this will suffice..." her tails close the door before she locks it it. "Here have a drink, food! All on me, and we will head to the living room to talk." She grins as she takes a small glass of wine herself and walks over towards the living room.

"...And that's why I have a fear of living dolls." Nayru finished explaining to Hisoka when they entered Light's apartment. Her smaller hand intertwined with Hisoka's bigger one as she was led to the couch. "Hey Light. Hey Astara." She told the two already in there with a curt nod while taking a seat. Feeling slightly crushed when Hisoka leaned onto her though, she stood up and left the couch. Seeking somewhere with a bit more room to stand. Giving a curt nod in greeting to Otto and Ferus as they arrived.

Hisoka gets up and follows Light to the living room. He didn't pick anything to eat at that moment though. Rather then doing that he grabs some of the wine and drinks from it. As he goes into the living room he comments to no one in particular, "Has someone seen Laurel? I haven't seen her in a bit. Kind of worried about it. I asked and last day they saw her was on Saturday. But I personally haven't seen her."

Astara gave a casual wave to everyone as they flowed over to the living room. "Hey everyone! Glad to see you all again, let alone all in one place!" She frowns a little as Hisoka talks. "No, alas, I have not."

Otto's attention immediately snaps onto Light as she enters the room. He leans away from the wall and waves the offer off "None for me, but thank you." then tucks his paws into his pockets. His eyes wander around the room, taking in and appreciating how neat and tidy it was. While beige was not his color, his large bunny feet did appreciate the plushness of the rug. The follicles tickles his soles and tucked between his toes, reminding him of the benefits of wearing shoes. He couldn't help but whistle as he appraised the tech in the room. That TV on its own, assuming it was still functional, must have cost a bundle! His paws felt around the inside of his pocket for the familear shape of his valued utility, a small metalic flask, filled with what seemed to be a viscous red liquid once he took a quick sip. The bitterness of the fluid was something he would never get used to, and it showed, as a visible cringe shakes his form as the fluid drained into his gullet. "Blah..." he exclaims and grimmaces lightly, before putting it away into his pocket.

With light footfall did he enter the living room, ears picking up in the dragon's question. "Not a trace. I tried to comm her about her project too. No response." e shrugs and looks around the room.

Ferus sighs self confidently clean, rolls up her towel so the clean side is facing out, and deposits it just inside the front door. Finding a open spot on the carpet, the amber taur first sits, then lays down, and then rolls on her side. Proper her upper torso up on arms outstretched behind her "I finished off what I packed before coming over," she says shaking her head slowly at Light, "I may take you up on a bottle of water for later, but I ate already thank you."

Ferus just relaxes, her raising into a curl and softly laying setting back down on the carpet. The margay just quietly watching with a slight smile as everyone finds their places and settle in people settles in.

Nayru shook her head no. "Sadly I haven't." She said as she went to grab some refreshments. A small frown forming on her face out of worry. With a small sigh she followed everyone else into the living room, waiting for the meeting to officially begin.

"Hey Nayru, Otto, how're you two since our little mission at the firehouse?" Astara inquires as the two bunnies enter the room. "You two sure were lucky you could control your breathing... but I suppose we were all lucky those wolves were, uh. /Competitive/."

Light frowns a bit as she didn't hear anything else from the missing canary of the bunch of member that shes with, setting her glass down on the table. "Alright, everyone. Thank you for coming to the meeting today." Before her ears perked up a bit more surprised that she hears about something that Astara, Otto and Nayru did. She then shook her hea dright back on track as she then looked towards everyone. "Alright so like before how there was the emergency meeting about the Extradimensional Generator, I'm gonna elaborate some more on that and what they actually want to truely acheive in their goals." She pauses for a moment. "I was also able to trace some of the researchers to this and the prior research before the generator was concieved as a research idea."

"Hey Astara. Ah, that." he scratches himself behind the neck "Honestly? I expected more trouble. The breath holding is a byproduct of my undersea ventures as an otter, but it comes in handy." he shrugs, speaking calmly and clearly "Though, it does render one mute, so that's an issue. I trrust you are alright?" he quirks and eyebrow as his features soften. "That was uhhh, quite the trick you pulled with those wol..." he immediately snaps his attention towards Light as she begins speaking.

He pulls up a chair and takes a seat, ears perked right up as he drinks in every word the kitsune speaks. "Extradimensional Generators." he repeats and leans back, covering his face with one paw as he struggles to recall what little he'd scraped up about them. Soon, his paws met atop the table as he crossed his legs and made himself comfortable, the entirety of his attention directed at the kitsune.

Ferus purrs, "I don't think I ever met Laurel.", answers with a sigh and sags back just a little without further comment. "

"Yeah. I rather not think about what we would have to do if they didn't start fighting amongst each other like that." Nayru agreed with a small shiver running down her spine. The lop-eared bunny then looked over at Light as she began. The frown on her face growing when the subject of the meeting was revealed.

Hisoka lets Light talk. Though he was very aware of all this. He takes a seat and drinks some more of the wine. "I picked up a bit of more intel on the prime subject of this research. But we will get to that in a moment. As it stands it seems I took the spot for second leader of this research. Furthermore I haven't noticed a lot of researchers or a lot of support on this project. So there is that."

Astara puts a hand up to her chin, her eyes narrowing a little as Light talks. "Extradimensional... generator?" she mumbles, most likely thinking out-loud.

"Yeah the current situation is that there isn't alot of researchers and Hisoka is currently the second leader so we have our man on the inside." She stands on her toes for a second all excited about the little bit of good news that has been going on. "And now back on the subject of how is spear heading the research, I checked in with the archives for other inqueries that revolved around this generator and there was a extra dimensional survey." She hums up a bit before hearing Astara. "Ah yes, where is my mind at the moment. So the basic information is that Extradimensional Generator wants to use extraplanar energy to have a infinite amount of powers. Though to be even more defined about that..." Light sighs real quick before she takes her comm and plugs it into the TV with unique chord, soon then the tv turns on and shows a recording of the Inari Shrine, then Hidden Forest. "The prior research was developed so they could look around points, somewhere inside of the dedication points. This research wants to use the dedication points as a nexus to where they could tap into and use for a infinite font of energy."

Ferus snorts, "So? Let them poke the tiger. A toothless tiger dies of starvation." The taur's whole bosy rises and falls with a huff, "The second they get close or go online their going to have a personal lesson in how god like godlike beings are."

Hisoka sighs a little "No Ferus. That's not an issue we can just let slide. I mean if we could? Sure. But the problem is we can't. At the very least if they utterly fail, these energies can destroy us all. As wipe this planet. Assume they pull it off. All manners of unforseen consequences can happen. Such as weakening the dimensional barriers. All that stuff that would put us in a bad, bad, very bad position."

Nayru pursed her lip as she took a seat. Not at all liking what she was hearing. "So we can't risk this getting off the ground then? Is that what I'm understanding correctly?"

Otto's brow furrowed more and more as he listened, though never quite descending into a frown, more a glance of disapproval. "I'm sure the locals would be thrilled to have their sacred temples overrun with folks in labcoats, installing equipment left and right..." he comments, then looks towards Ferus. "My colleague also makes a point, a crudely stated point but a point nonetheless. It is said that a sentient species can progress only as far as the energy they can produce and consume permits, and in a way, should this technology prove applicable and fruitful, that would be most excellent." he admits, but resumes "But consider the costs, and the implictions, in the event it fails. The masses are already divided, and adding the looming threat of a potentially bomblike tech installed in most, if not all the shrines and then coming out flat... well." he shrugs and shakes his head. "I'd rather not have the Kaiju come tear Fairhaven apart, if the technology doesn't do it first."

As Light explained, Astara grew more and more aghast. "Sounds like the antimatter tech from the sci-fi of yesterday, really. Both in the energy it could generate, as well as the absolute destruction." She sighed. "Besides from just the energy itself having the potential to be destructive, you're all right; the deities are NOT just going to sit and be used for others' gain. I know Inari won't; having spent 7 years being as one of Her most faithful servants in this realm, I have rather close relationship to Her..." She just stopped talking, closing her eyes and rubbing her temples.

Light's face shows a grim despair thinking about the all of the deities and dedicants that would revolt about this with all of the masses divided, even Zephyr would be torn down from this if it was a failure from the beginning. "You all are right, with that bit of unnerving equipment now being created." She pauses for a moment. "Though they still have a long way to go in order to create this such a thing, and all of the dedicants... would likely go against this else zephyr would lock away their shrines and no one would be able to dedicate again without an additional fee from zephyr just so that the generators pay for themselves." She hums some more with the bigger information on her head. "Though with the preliminary research proves that they deities did come over here for the search of the special grade nanines or Mako, Zephyr now finds this as a way to exploit the gods themself." She coughs spitting out as much information as she could. "Though now when digging into the matter, one researcher is on both the generator and preliminary."

Ferus shrugs, "So go find a friendly power or let the unfriendly one know it's about to be attacked. They have more toys, bigger toys, the know how to defend their turf, and are far more motivated to defend their home then we are. Besides if the world was that easy to break those same extra dimension things never would have been thrown out or smashed it flat into tinier bits then even the nanites could dream long ago the moment one threw a tantrum."
