| Description | This nanomagic allows the translation of written words, be it something you are looking at, accessing via data nanomagic, or sent via comm to you. If the words are encoded, your NICE can attempt to decrypt, but isn't terribly good at it. +roll 1, the result is a bonus towards decryption tasks (added to the roll, not the result). This nanomagic has no effect on spoken languages, only written. For passive translation, this is a Passive nanomagic and can be used while other Passive nanomagics and an Active nanomagic are in use. While decoding or other similarly focused tasks, this nanomagic is considered Active and cannot be used while another nanomagic is Active and in use except where explicitly stated, such as with Data nanomagic. | ||
