Zen is a kitsune of many unique sides.  To some, he is soft, affectionate, and generally well mannered.  To others, he can be brutal, aggressive, and quite unnerving to be around.  It is hard to say if he was always like this or if it was something that seeped into his behavior when the nanites started to change him.  Regardless, he tends to be a bit unpredictable, constantly looking for the next source of entertainment and occasionally deriving it from others by force.

His day-to-day routine usually involves scouting around and exploring both inside and outside of the nanite bubble.  From time to time he also hunts, sometimes alternating between a more traditional method and a more bestial one.

Zen is also rather fascinated by both nanomagic and true magic bestowed by supernaturals.  Experimenting and tampering with forces that defy his understanding of the world would be quite interesting to him.  However, more importantly, he would be interested in learning how to best apply those acquired skills.  Having quite an interest in playing games, pulling pranks, and scaring people, the introduction of nanites and the magic that followed would only serve to make his schemes that much more potent.
