| Description: | The Stygian Hound's the brute of the Bone Yard. Stygian Hounds are demonic-seeming quadrupeds, with their hooved hind legs, fur made of iron, and spike-covered reptilian tails. These canine horrors have no fewer than three large bestial cocks, canine in shape yet covered in barbs. Not feline type barbs, either. We're talking 'rose thorn' level unpleasantness. Agents are strongly advised not to submit to Stygian Hounds. The Stygian Hound has a vicious, dominating temperament, and they will not hesitate to slake their unholy impulses on a defeated foe. Unless you are a truly extreme masochist, it is always better to flee a Stygian Hound if you cannot defeat it. Extra caution is advised to agents who may be tempted to make common use of this form. Its vicious impulses can be very difficult to control and are not conducive to the maintenance of the pro-social attitude valued by all major factions. Antisocial behavior is unfortunately very common among people infected with this form.
A less unhappy and still noteworthy characteristic of the strain is color. Their horns, eyes, and teeth are all the same color, but that color varies between individual Hounds. Agents infected with this strain of nanites will find that their horns, eyes, and teeth will be the same color each time they assume this form (whether through direct infection or use of Nanite Adept abilities). The first time a person becomes a Stygian Hound, the color is set, and it will be the same every time thereafter. Although the range of colors manifested by Stygian Hounds is not infinite, this trait can still help identify individuals. | ||||||
