By joining a crafting alliance, a player gains access to the eternal friendship and camaraderie of one of the two best guilds in Fairhaven. Or the Survivalists, if you're into that sort of thing. We won't judge, at least not in front of you.
More importantly, you gain access to their exclusive stashes of recipes. Choose wisely, as you can only have access to ONE of these three at a time. To re-specialize, look for the Crafting Alliance Termination Documents sold near any of the factions.
