	Wallace and Sorien are on the road just outside of Fairhaven heading north on Highway 101 heading toward an are just south of the Redwood National Park. There's a gas station that was scouted as having a really large haul, particularly enough to be worth sending a semi out. Wallace sits behind the wheel concentrating carefully on avoiding abandoned vehicles that still haven't been cleared off the highway this far north of Fairhaven. The group encountered some nasty aggressive coyotes and in the aftermath of defending them found three of them bitten and two rapidly changed and lost, leaving many simply stunned. One coyote as been kept locked below in the luggage compartment, while Sparhawk managed to save blood samples from the decaying Apostasy and Cilan. Crys has been bitten, but thus far has not shown outward signs of any change, although she was knocked unconscious in the fight from lack of blood, and has slowly recovered.
