He also finds himself slipping down into the darkness in other ways, having mostly set aside his once-exclusive focus on the skills of the Nanite Adept in favor of the occult knowledge of the Necromantic Acolytes. Still, he does the best he can, muddling his way through life. He is very intelligent, but cynical. He is prone to alternating periods of intense guilt feelings and the amoral freedom of an apex predator. He was a male before P-Day, but became neuter when first infected and remains so most of the time except for unusual incidents and the occasional use of his Nanite Adept abilities to shift himself into a male (or, much more rarely, a masculine herm.)
