Characteristics: A calm and collected counterpoint to her often hot-headed circle of friends, she tends to seek balance in all things. She also holds a strong sense of justice and propriety, but is highly unpredictable on those rare occasions that her self-control falters. Though not feral, she appears quite comfortable with the nanite infection and would, if pressed, likely fight against any permanent cure forced upon her. She is known to show sympathy for ferals and uses a variety of tactics (including threats) to discourage people from losing control of themselves, particularly in public.

Characteristics: (requires edit!)

A combination of prolonged exposure to the infection and sheer force of will have given Ferox a respectable measure of control over the nanites within her own body. She rarely mutates from her chosen form, which appears to be that of a Harbinger Lynx with numerous personal modifications. Her general body shape greatly resembles her original human self, making it much easier for her to find suitable clothing and even shoes. She also seems largely unaffected by temperature extremes, and rumors even suggest she does not require air to function. These adaptations are supplemented by incredible speed and strength - even among mutants - and an almost prescient ability to anticipate the flow of battle.

Looking over Ferox, her body is covered in mottled gray fur, pale and soft, with subtle black and silver streaks around her extremities. Her head is feline, bearing pointed ears with black tufts of fur, a fluffy ruff at the neck, and preternaturally compelling crimson eyes. Her body is slender and powerful, moving with uncanny grace and efficiency. She has 4 starting at massive F cup sized breasts. The breasts under the first top pair are smaller. Row 2 is plump D cup sized breasts. Her belly distends as if from a full meal. Her arms are wiry and surprisingly strong, ending in soft paws that conceal needle-sharp claws.  Her legs are lithe and muscular, embodying several interpretations of the phrase "dangerous curves".  A long, narrow cat tail flows from her rear, forking into two halfway down its length. A private peek would reveal that she has: She has 2 heavy tapered and barbed feline cocks, measuring 10 inches.  She has large sized balls. She has a standard cleft. With mild effort, it can stretch to 8 inches long and 5 inches around.

Cat-slitted crimson eyes gaze out from a youthful face that appears more human than beast, framed by silky black hair worn in a deceptively careless style that falls to her shoulder blades. Further traces of her former self can be found in her below-average height and lithe figure, but hidden beneath this unimposing build lies a quiet strength not unlike that of the feline predator she most often resembles. The fur blanketing her body is soft and predominantly white with a touch of gray mixed in, fading to silver-streaked black at her shins, forearms, and ears, a pattern mirrored by the feathers of the large pair of black-edged white wings neatly folded against her back.

A backless black halter top struggles to contain her considerable bust, falling just low enough to conceal both pairs of breasts while leaving a slice of bare midriff exposed. Riding low upon her hips is a rather short denim skirt, loosely supported by a braided black leather belt with a silver buckle and reaching only mid-thigh before ending in a ragged hem. The rest of her legs are bare all the way down to the pair of black low-heeled half boots that hide her ankles and feet. A set of steel dog tags hangs from a ball chain around her neck, their polished surfaces crudely etched with a single word each.

Silky black hair dyed with raven-blue streaks falls to this woman's shoulderblades, worn in a deceptively careless style that frames a youthful face strikingly human in appearance. However, cat-slitted crimson eyes and a blanket of soft fur over her skin quickly dispell any illusions as to her true nature, as do the pair of tufted cat ears perched atop her head, poking through her hair and often swiveling to catch even the faintest of sounds around her. Should she smile, her sharp teeth are also a dead giveaway.

She seems to possess an affinity for titanium jewelry, having scavenged or otherwise acquired several pieces in remarkably good condition. Two small rings pierce her left ear, as unadorned as the curved barbell decorating her belly button and the trio of polished titanium bangles around her right wrist. But these inhuman features hardly mean she has fallen prey to her base instincts, as so many others have - far from it, it seems, as she has adorned herself with simple jewelry as if to highlight her humanity. Her soft voice and generally calm demeanor are offset by a pair of matte black Mateba Model 6 Hunter Autorevolvers in matching holsters at her hips, their long barrels inscribed in a similar fashion to the tags at her throat. The large handguns appear to be chambered for the devastating .454 Casull rounds arrayed in speedloaders resting in metal clips attached to her belt, rendering them quite deadly in her capable hands.

A glance further down her body is rewarded with only a black halter top that does an admirable job of preserving her modesty, falling low enough to conceal her assets while leaving a slice of bare midriff exposed, perhaps to show off the curved barbell decorating her belly button. Her back is left bare, and for good reason - even a cursory glance cannot possibly miss the beautiful pair of feathered wings resting comfortably against her spine, looking very much as if they belong there, an intrinsic part of her form.

Bare shoulders transition to wiry arms befitting her lithe hourglass figure, an asymmetrical fur pattern drawing one's attention to her left side where curious lines of deep black cut through her otherwise predominantly pale coloration. Wandering eyes are again thwarted at her wide hips, this time by a rather short denim skirt loosely supported by a braided black leather belt with a plain silver buckle. Hanging from this same belt is the first real hint at the lynx's darker side: a simple black holster carrying a matte black Mateba Model 6 Hunter Autorevolver rests comfortably at her right hip, the large handgun presumably chambered for the devastating .454 Casull rounds in the speedloaders arrayed around her waist. A few fragmentation grenades hooked into her waistband round out the deadly ensemble.

But beyond this minor distraction the skirt is temptingly short, riding low on her hips and barely reaching mid-thigh before ending in a ragged hem that she carefully avoids lifting too high with the movements of her catlike tail. Character Details

Aliases: Ferox, Angel of Death
Real Name: Lyria Masters
Age: Seventeen
Nationality: American
Allegiance: Eire Nua (New Ireland)
Occupation: Mercenary, primarily employed by Zephyr
Preferred Strain: Harbinger Lynx

Characteristics: (requires edit!)

A combination of prolonged exposure to the infection and sheer force of will have given Ferox a respectable measure of control over the nanites within her own body. She rarely mutates from her chosen form, which appears to be that of a Harbinger Lynx with numerous personal modifications. Her general body shape greatly resembles her original human self, making it much easier for her to find suitable clothing and even shoes. She also seems largely unaffected by temperature extremes, and rumors even suggest she does not require air to function. These adaptations are supplemented by incredible speed and strength - even among mutants - and a clearly prescient ability to anticipate the flow of battle.

When paired with her mate Taggart the two are nearly unstoppable in direct combat.

Default Appearance

But these inhuman features hardly mean she has fallen prey to her base instincts, as so many others have - far from it, it seems, as she has adorned herself with simple jewelry as if to highlight her humanity. One of those catlike ears is pierced with a pair of small titanium rings, their silvery glint answered across her face by a polished barbell resting above her right eye and an additional ring that hugs the curve of her lower lip.

The design seems far too ordered to be random, beginning at a spiral centered upon her left shoulder and radiating outward in dark streaks that cover her arm and disappear beneath her top, extending over at least part of her chest and back.

Below the garment her legs are covered in nothing but soft fur, left bare all the way down to the pair of black low-heeled half-boots that add a solid inch to her below-average height and hide her furred but otherwise human ankles and feet.

A beautiful claddagh ring around her left ring finger marks her as taken, the distinctive Irish design centered on a pair of hands clasping a gemstone heart made up of ruby and emerald halves with a diamond-set crown rising proudly above, a symbol of loyalty that runs deeper than any collar could signify.

Recent History

Intelligent and athletic even before the nanite outbreak, Lyria Masters is the only known person to have escaped unscathed from the small town she once called home. Unfortunately for her, she fled in the wrong direction - after several desperate and lonely days in the wilderness she arrived in Fairhaven, only to be snatched up by Zephyr and presented with a tantalizing offer: Food, shelter, and hope in exchange for becoming a field agent, whatever that entailed. Hardly in any position to refuse, she agreed, tragically unaware of just what she was signing up for.

For several days the human teenager fared remarkably well against the stray mutants near Zephyr headquarters, miraculously avoiding mutation and beginning to fancy herself invincible. But in an instant, everything changed - with a swipe of its claws a blue gryphon decided her fate, a seemingly insignificant cut across her forearm allowing the nanites the creature carried to flood into her system. Afterward the alterations came rapidly, leaving the poor girl to wander the city in a daze as she struggled to cope with the effects of her first mutations.

When Lyria next returned to Zephyr it was as a full-fledged hermaphrodite gryphon, mostly naked and half-feral as she wrestled with the new instincts bestowed by the nanites. Much of the next week of her life was spent attempting to either suppress or satisfy these impulses, beginning with the loss of her virginity to a complete stranger and later culminating in a pregnancy by the same man. The father soon gave in further to the infection, choosing to become fully feral and leaving her very much alone.

This dark period in her life eventually came to an end, however, with a chance meeting in the Zephyr lobby in which she overheard a conversation between a pair of interesting strangers. These individuals - the Russian human Raifuru and the Irish wolf beast Taggart - became friend and rival respectively, both inspiring her in their own way to regain her lost self-control before it was too late. Her closeness with Raifuru in part led to her interest in the Skunkworks (Fairhaven's only attempt at actual industry), which she viewed as a worthy cause and was soon hired to protect.

Lyria lived a rather comfortable (if violent) life for a time, enjoying her work and the companionship of her fellow employees and friends. Sadly this would not last - a series of distressing events beginning with a shooting in Zephyr's main lobby caused a severe personal crisis for the gryphoness that resulted in her complete abandonment of not only the Skunkworks but Zephyr as a whole. She went on to adopt the alias "Ferox" and an entirely new form - that of a Harbinger Lynx - as she put a comfortable distance between herself and her past, searching for something to fill the void left uncovered by her departure from the group that had given her a purpose.

She would find that something in a wildly unexpected place. Over time her rivalry with Taggart had slowly developed into friendship, and even something more - always casual, but with an unfamiliar spark she couldn't quite identify. At least, not until her first visit to New Ireland, the dream the wolf was steadily making into a reality with his own two hands. Though the details of that night are known only to the two of them, one thing became abundantly clear to both: That they had, quite by accident, fallen in love.

The lynx currently leads a happy life with her mate at New Ireland, doing what she can to help him build both his dream and a family. They have two sons, Braenden and Liam, with more children apparently on the way. She has yet to reconcile her differences with Zephyr but is frequently identified as a Zephyr employee due to her tendency to participate in their operations, ostensibly to keep a close enough eye on their activities that she may intervene if necessary.
