"I myself don't have a map... but we'll be fine, I think." she says assuringly, reaching her paws back to draw her sniper rifle from her back and hold it close to herself for now. Looking at Dio and Edel, she hears them talk about experience with the location, of which she herself has never visited. "It's my first time, I..." she trails off, the humans occupying the courthouse in the distance catching her keen eyes.<br> <br>"Hold up.." Sara mentions as she drops to a knee and sticks to the shadows, trying to remain unseen from the people ahead.  Once secure she pulls a pair of binoculars from a satchel at her side and looks through it towards the figures in the window, looking to see if they're moving of their own volition.  "We've got a couple humans in the building, think they're friendly?" she asks over her shoulder.<br> <br>Angus nodded lightly To dio as he looked towards him. "North it is then..." He muttered to Alkain with a smile before he started to walk. "Don't worry, we know what we are doing...mostly." He commented to Edel, stopping in his tracks as he hears Selyra trail off and Sara tells them to stop. "Could be friendly, but we should still be cautious." He commented to Sara, keeping his gun drawn on the location of the guards as he stands there.<br> <br>Alkain hmms at the building and nods, "I'm guessing that's where we want to go." he looks at Sely and smiles, "My second since P-Day really." he sighs as he looks around, "Welcome home..." he mumbles to himself and shakes his head, he hmms? at Sara and blinks as he looks to the house again, "I hope they are..."<br> <br>"When it comes to this place ma'am," Dio chuckles despite the dark subject, turning towards Edel with a forced smile. "I'm afraid that promise can't be kept. Teamwork and communication is key. Expect the worse. Hopefully we'll be able to return to your teahouse safe and sound!" The lion turns his attention towards the courthouse. "You see humans up there, do you?" He squints in an attempt to pick something out. "Awfully strange how they've managed to survive this long. Have they even been attacked? It's strange but... Could this be a trap somehow?"<br> <br>As the humans continue to make their rounds about the courthouse roof, one of them spots Sara watching them, they wave and quickly pick up an old voice amplifying mic and speaker, "Are you from another city? You don't look native to these parts! Have... have you come to help us? Please, hurry up and get behind the gates if you have! Who knows when they will be back!" Comes a very male voice out of the speaker box. The others turn quickly and start looking themselves.<br> <br>Miora Miora would of stayed back behind Selyra, making sure to stick close to her but still not wanting to the first into a fight, having little to no capability in a fight beyond her own teeth and claws. Looking over Selyra's Shoulder she would give a small whimper, not really knowing what was to come and a small part of her nerves a bit scared to be without her more powerful healing abilities. Although at the loud voice her ears quickly flick back, soon taking a step foward, although it is hesitant soon another follows. "I dunno if it is or not, but they need help."<br> <br>Edel smiles happily, ears perking. "I guess they might be friendly, then! Excellent!" The smile falters for a moment, and her eys narrow behind the goggles. "Unless it's a trap. But hopefully it won't be, eh?" She nods at Dio. "I know. I was just trying to lighten the mood."<br> <br>Angus frowned and shakes his head, his revolver going back into its holster before he brings out his hammer. "Alright, trap or not lets what they want." Something was off, it felt just a little to easy....where were all the ferals, this was a city after all...<br> <br>"They could be friendly, but let's get some details before we put our lives on the line." Dio turns around on his heels and begins a walk towards the supplies. "Let's see, let's see..." he continues to chant, shifting through various boxes until he pulls out a megaphone. "Ah, perfect! You there," he points at one of the chopper personnel, "Prepare some supplies for transfer so we don't waste anytime if they are friendly." Megaphone in hand, the lion takes a position next to the others and turns on the device, looking towards the courthouse. "Hello," his amplified voice booms, "We're the rescue party. I assume your group was the one who sent the signal? We're coming to help. Do you have any infected? Am I to assume 'they' are the packmind fingers?"<br> <br>Selyra spends a good bit of time simply attempting to squint and watch them from where she was standing. The sound of the voice gives her a bit of a start, and begins a move towards something for cover, anything. But as Miora takes a step towards them, she stops herself and places a paw on her shoulder. "Miora... please love, be careful. It could be a trap and you'd be walking dead into a... I'd rather not think about it..." she mumbles to the husky, motioning for the two of them to take refuge behind a fractured wall of a building nearest to them, if available. "They could be friendly, but everyone stay alert!" she calls out just to be sure, even if they already suspected the same thing.<br> <br>Herma nickers, "I don't see a reason for there to be a trap. We're not going to mutate their people and then kidnap them to be mares for our herd. No, we are civilized people that simply wish to romance the single, the polyamorous, and wouldn't dare bring anyone back unless they wanted a life of breast milk and sinful sexual orgies of their own free will."<br> <br>Alkain blinks at the humans and hmms, "It is a little suspscious... But what choice do we have?" he blinks at Dio and winces, "Well, what else would it be?" he looks at Selyra with a nod, "I'll be as alert as I can." he eyes Herma a little and shakes his head, "If you say so." he chuckles a little<br> <br>Miora would look to Dio and think for a second. "Uhm, if you want I can do the talking I am pretty good at getting on others good sides." she would say, usually being quite good at being sociable when not timid. It was only an offer but it was true, she was quite good when she didn't want to hide. "Just tell me what you want me to tell them and I can give it a shot." <br> <br>"Huh.. guess that'll give us an answer." Sara says as she lowers the binoculars and returns them to the satchel on her person, "Alright, we're coming." the dragoness calls out to the courthouse, hoping they had heard her over the distance.  With binoculars secured and the woman now on her feet she enters a brisk run towards the courthouse, and hopefully safety.

Zypher was kind enough to lease out their chopper for this mission, beinging with it all the volunteer agents as well as a small team of others. Landing carefully on some unbroken blacktop, the blades wind down. The commander turns to look at everyone. "Ok, the 5 of us will secure this point!" The Small Lioness says as shoulders her pack, "You volunteers, I want you all to go out there and make contact with the person who sent that message. Lets move everyone! And remember, there is no bubble here, so be careful. Any nanite powers you usually use will be very weakened. Use your wits and your gear until we know more. Lets move people lets move!" Outside the chopper is a ruined city, layed to waste by something long ago, though it seems that minor efforts to help rebuild have been started. The mid day sun beats down, unusual for this time of year.

Angus stepped out of the chopper with a frown across his muzzle, either way the situation wasn't good and the Coyote knew it as he nodded to the Feline. "You sure five is going to be enough?" He asked with all seriousness, already going through a mental checklist to make sure he had everything as he turned back to the ruined City.

Herma actually looked nervious, and... well sie was masturbating to deal with it apparently. The pegasus's knees quivered a bit and sie whimpered a bit as sie spoked, with a gurgling sound in hir loins "I-It's about the max I can cover with protein shield while outside the do-ooohhh-me, otherwise I'd cover 8." Herma nodded before sie stood off to the side, "Everyone line up for some protection"

Miora would glance around at the area, never having been this far out before, feeling her abilities and nanomagic a bit weaker than before, taking a deep breath she would glance to Selyra who was still on the chopper behind her, feeling a bit nervous about hte new area, but not as nervous as some, a small part of her excited as she clenches her medkit a bit tighter, having followed Selyra here and not backing out now.

The sight of Herma jacking off for half the ride puts at least one person off. Selyra steps out of the chopper behind Miora, edging herself away from the pegasus. "I... think I'm fine withOUT a 'shield'..." she says skeptically, ensuring she was likely outside of the lewd range. With the debriefing that they'd be leaving a bubble, she was sure to shrink her assets down to a more manageable size. Rather than her six watermelons and head-sized udder, she now possesses four D's and no udder, while her torso holster carries her rifles crossed on her back. Now off the chopper, she listens to the commander's words carefully before a nod of affirmation.

Edel pulls her goggles down over her eyes as she drops out of the helicopter. If she's nervous, she doesn't show it. At least not with her facial expressions. The rest of her body tells another story, though, from the way her tail twitches to the way her left arm rests on the hilt of her sword. "I'll pass on that, too, thanks." And with that, she shuffles slightly out of Herma's way.

Dio unstraps the shotgun attached to his back and brings it to his two hands before jumping out of the helicopter, a large whisper of weakness as the reality of being out of bubble sinks in. "Perhaps having a smaller team of qualified individuals is better than an army in this case." The semi-formally dressed silver lion draws his eyes upon the local coyote, wondering if Angus were to remember the 'mercy killing' performed upon him upon the last Oregon expedition. "You won't be doing that to me I'm afraid," he commands, moving out of the way and raising the shotgun to his shoulder.

"Gotcha, good luck out here.. Oregon ain't for the faint've heart!" Sara calls over her shoulder to the pilots offering to stay behind as she steps out of the helicopter, and makes her way away from Herma, making sure she's far out of the 'protection' sie had offered. Once far enough the dragoness reaches both clawed hands into the trench coat covering her, pulling two handguns from within. "So.. anyone know where this place is the radio mentioned? I unfortunately have no map on hand so.. well, I'm kinda blind here." as she speaks her hidden golden gaze watches the surroundings, making sure nothing can come out of hiding without her knowing about it. "God damn, I hate this place.." she can be heard mumbling as she waits.

Alkain shakes his head as he watches the ground pass below the helicopter and sighs, "I'm beginning to hate Oregon..." he shrugs as he looks to the others as he makes sure his equipment is ready, "I'll... Pass..." as he looks at Herma with a blush, "Anyway... I'm not sure either, I would need a map." as he moves out of the way of Herma's Protein Shield, hopefully

Edel scratches one of her ears and looks around, frowning. "I can't say I know where we're going, either. I've never been up this way before, myself."

The commander shakes her head and nods a few times "Good luck, less then half a click north should be your target. We will make sure to keep the chopper safe incase you need a quick exit. Again, be careful out there." Then she and her men start working to secure the chopper. Weapons are drawn out and ready, food distributed to everyone, water, and ammunition as well.

"Suit yourself everyone... But... you might not be far enough away..." Herma moaned as hir jizz coated herself for sure, and whoever was unlucky, with a protective layer of cum

"Sorry if you got any in the eyes"

Angus rolls his eyes at the commander and sighs. "Well...this should be intresting." He frowned, drawing one of his revovlers as he cocked back the hammer and turned to the city. Like everyone else he felt the effects of not being in he bubble, but this time it was different for him.. There was no more pain associated with it, as the nanites the gave his body extra protection were gone. "Everyone ready?" The coyote asked, turning to face the others.

"Less than half a click? Understood, thank you, sir!" Miora would eep as she was unlucky, getting a good coating of cum on her, shuddering and trying to wipe off what she could. Eventually just giving up and falling in line behind everyone, not really eager to be the first into combat, having little more than her claws and teeth to attack with, although she made sure to bring plenty of bottled milk and medicine via Selyra's instructions.

Dio walks over to the various piles of supplies, searching for shotgun shells to strap to the side of his shotgun and a few in his pockets. "Can never be too careful," the lion murmurs under his breath. The shotgun draws upwards to his eyes as they inspect and analyze, making sure everything is ship-shape. "I see some of you are veterans of the area." The lion starts a stride towards Sara, and then looks towards Angus once more. "Some more than others it would seem... But yes!" Dio clicks the safety off on his shotgun and begins heading forward. "Back into the hell hole!"

Edel flips a switch on her sword scabbard and presses a button. "As ready as I'm going to be for this, I think." She turns and begins trotting off after Dio. "Oh, some veterans will be lovely. I'm trusting you not to lead us into anything too terrible, yeah?" She gives a soft laugh and a shrug. "I might hold it against you, if you do, you know!" she teases.

Alkain nods to the commander and looks around, "Ok... North it is then..." he chuckles at Angus and nods, "As I'll ever be I guess..." then Herma blows and covers him in a layer of sticky cum, "GAH!" he shakes his head and wipes cum from his eyelids, "This isn't going to be my day is it?" he looks at Miora and shrugs a little, "Ah well..."

To the north is one of the few standing buildings left, a large court house. It has been reinforced many many times over, and even then, it looks very much worse for wair. Those with keen eyes would be able to spot a couple of guards standing atop it, humans! Unmutated humans! They are moving around back and forth, though one keeps an eye on the chopper landing point and the people accumulated there.

Nodding once more to the commander, Selyra keeps a careful eye on Herma's projection. A wince shows on her face at the sight of it covering Miora, feeling sorry for the poor girl. Now that it's over, she inches her way back towards her husky mate, voicing a quick and pity-induced apology before her attention returns to the majority of the group. "Hold up.." Sara mentions as she drops to a knee and sticks to the shadows, trying to remain unseen from the people ahead. Once secure she pulls a pair of binoculars from a satchel at her side and looks through it towards the figures in the window, looking to see if they're moving of their own volition. "We've got a couple humans in the building, think they're friendly?" she asks over her shoulder.

Angus nodded lightly To dio as he looked towards him. "North it is then..." He muttered to Alkain with a smile before he started to walk. "Don't worry, we know what we are doing...mostly." He commented to Edel, stopping in his tracks as he hears Selyra trail off and Sara tells them to stop. "Could be friendly, but we should still be cautious." He commented to Sara, keeping his gun drawn on the location of the guards as he stands there.

Alkain hmms at the building and nods, "I'm guessing that's where we want to go." he looks at Sely and smiles, "My second since P-Day really." he sighs as he looks around, "Welcome home..." he mumbles to himself and shakes his head, he hmms? at Sara and blinks as he looks to the house again, "I hope they are..."

"When it comes to this place ma'am," Dio chuckles despite the dark subject, turning towards Edel with a forced smile. Could this be a trap somehow?"

As the humans continue to make their rounds about the courthouse roof, one of them spots Sara watching them, they wave and quickly pick up an old voice amplifying mic and speaker, "Are you from another city? You don't look native to these parts! Have... have you come to help us? Please, hurry up and get behind the gates if you have! Who knows when they will be back!" Comes a very male voice out of the speaker box. The others turn quickly and start looking themselves.

Miora Miora would of stayed back behind Selyra, making sure to stick close to her but still not wanting to the first into a fight, having little to no capability in a fight beyond her own teeth and claws. "I dunno if it is or not, but they need help."

Edel smiles happily, ears perking. "I guess they might be friendly, then! Excellent!" The smile falters for a moment, and her eys narrow behind the goggles. "Unless it's a trap. But hopefully it won't be, eh?" She nods at Dio. "I know. I was just trying to lighten the mood."

Angus frowned and shakes his head, his revolver going back into its holster before he brings out his hammer. "Alright, trap or not lets what they want." Something was off, it felt just a little to easy....where were all the ferals, this was a city after all...

"They could be friendly, but let's get some details before we put our lives on the line." Dio turns around on his heels and begins a walk towards the supplies. Am I to assume 'they' are the packmind fingers?"

Selyra spends a good bit of time simply attempting to squint and watch them from where she was standing. "They could be friendly, but everyone stay alert!" she calls out just to be sure, even if they already suspected the same thing.

Herma nickers, "I don't see a reason for there to be a trap. We're not going to mutate their people and then kidnap them to be mares for our herd. No, we are civilized people that simply wish to romance the single, the polyamorous, and wouldn't dare bring anyone back unless they wanted a life of breast milk and sinful sexual orgies of their own free will."

Alkain blinks at the humans and hmms, "It is a little suspscious... But what choice do we have?" he blinks at Dio and winces, "Well, what else would it be?" he looks at Selyra with a nod, "I'll be as alert as I can." he eyes Herma a little and shakes his head, "If you say so." he chuckles a little

Miora would look to Dio and think for a second. "Uhm, if you want I can do the talking I am pretty good at getting on others good sides." she would say, usually being quite good at being sociable when not timid. It was only an offer but it was true, she was quite good when she didn't want to hide. "Just tell me what you want me to tell them and I can give it a shot."

"Huh.. guess that'll give us an answer." Sara says as she lowers the binoculars and returns them to the satchel on her person, "Alright, we're coming." the dragoness calls out to the courthouse, hoping they had heard her over the distance. With binoculars secured and the woman now on her feet she enters a brisk run towards the courthouse, and hopefully safety.
