Log

RSX's lobby is empty as it normally is, there's an aide, a younger looking man with a fairly plain dress and face, sitting by a few folding chairs, all of which have had their cushioning either worn away, or never had any to begin with. The aide is waiting for the agents to show up. He is tapping his pen on his clipboard.

Wurtzite enters the lobby and sits down off to the side, not really intending to be a center of attention. Hir tails waving around behind hir a bit anxiously, the aide seems peeved at hir for not checking in with him, but does not get up or otherwise react to hir presence, other than by writing something on his clipboard.

Escherr got the call for another job. Already familar with the two groups involved he felt that it would be a good idea to be around just in case. Adjusting his form to what they knew him as, if they could remember after all the booze or acid that is. The pscyho weasel even took some time to dress up and paint up that jacket into a suit like look with rolled up sleeved and a painted on tie. Once confident that lookd good enough moved on to the RSX lobby to check in. Seeming to be early once again as looked around and made a bit of an annoucment. "No Niles?" Questioning the aid some but following up with proper information. "Escherr. Was in the previous mission with the goblins."

Ebreus hops off the chopper and makes his way acrost the lobby, now a bit shorter and less imposing than he was last time he was here for a job, to the RSX employee. In his old clothes, a trench coat and button-up potentially with something beneath it and leggins, he looks much like he did many months past other than being a Doberman. Seeing Escherr, Wurtzite, and the unfamiliar employee he says, "Hey, seems I'm not last to arrive this time." as he aproaches and upon reaching normal speaking distance to the group continues, "Ebreus, Prommie Negotiator, I was also with the last group."

Having finally found the RSX lobby, Zixis strides in, all four legs almost tip-toeing, glancing at every wall and doorway. Shi rarely visits RSX, so the building is somewhat a mystery to hir. Shi only came for the chance of meeting new strange allies, and what better way than a festival. Hoping shi was in the right spot, shi scanned the room, looking for anyone who seemed official. Eying who shi recognized as Wurtzite and other agents congregating, Zixis strode up to the aide, hoping there wasn't a dress code. "Hello, I'm Zixis. I'm here about some kind of diplomatic party?" Zixis shifts to the side of the room, awaiting affirmation, idly crossing hir arms, attempting some amount of decency.

The RSX building was one of the few places Phosphorus could truly call home, at least, for the time being. It was dangerous to anchor yourself to one location for too long, as she frequently chides herself, but this place did supply a steady stream of supplies, and that was always a solid plus. The panda enters the lobby floor from the stairs, arriving with naught but the noise of a muted rubber sole against a hard surface, approaching the aide with her typical stiff, yet rapid pace. "Operative Phosphorus, reporting in. I was on the last contact mission, though I appear to have served a purely defensive role," she says, glancing at the aide. "All should go peacefully this time, too, yeah?"

Arris enters the RSX lobby, looking left and right and noticing that a large group of people had already assembled. Well, large for the RSX lobby standards. Upon hearing the mention of a Halloween festival, the gator has come dressed in costume: hir tried and true Bowser getup from a previous costume party at the Sunshine Restaurant. Sie also spots Wurtzite, giving hir a pleasant smile and a handwave as sie passes by hir on the way towards the aide. "Arris. Uh, I heard there was a party here and came to check." Sie gives the aide a sheepish smile.

A small fennec enters the lobby, clearly uncomfortable. Seeing Zixis and Wurtzite, she waves to both. "Um.. Hi. I heard there was some sort of social event happening, so I came to check what was happening. I.. I'm Ciana, by the way.." She barely sticks her paw out, hoping for someone to shake it so she could dissapate into a corner.

"No Niles" The aide says, noting the presence of the weasel. with a checkmark on his clipboard, "You'll meet up with him later. Good to see a returning face though. RSX likes to encourage agents to participate in follow up missions, as they tend to understand more of it."

"Wow. A prommie." The aide says, sarcastically. Where do these RSX employees find their attitudes? The toilet store? " Good to see a returning face. Your weaselly friend can explain that if you need it." There's the scratch of the aide's pencil as he marks something about the Doberman.

"Good to see a new face, they're the lifeblood of RSXs' agent relations." The aide says, marking the 4 armed kitsune's presence, "There's no dress code, not for this mission at least." He looks at the kitsune again, "Besides," he adds with the first sign of a smile, "I'd hate to buy pants if I had that many legs."

"Wow. A fellow RSX employee. In the RSX building. That's rare." The aide's tone is completely flat in responding to the panda, maybe he's serious.

"Oh. Yeah sure. Its easy to forget that many diplomatic crises are actually also parties. Enjoy yourself." The aide offers.

"What? Why are you so anxious? This one is supposed to actually be easy. Don't hide here. We have a bunker for that." The aide tells Ciana, rather forcefully.

With everyone there, he stands up to make his announcement. "So. All of you that are here for the festival, follow me. Everyone else. I can't offer any kind of guidance." before starting out the door. Wurtzite shrugs and greets Zixis and Ciana before following the aide, who's currently holding the door open, to the bemusement of the guards.

Escherr finds a spot to lean against muttering a bit about liking the smoking aide far much better over the sterotype of one group better then the other. Seeing the rather nervous few speaks up a bit. "The goblins are pretty much easy going, you'll do fine. Is all about getting a few to hook up and what better way then a party. Jus be aware of what you are given." Having to smirk a bit and soon taking the que to follow.

Ebreus smiles as he sees the kitsune-taur aproach. "Hello Zixis." he says. The sound of movement from the stairs soon snags his attention and he glances over to see the Panda who had acompanied them on the previous goblin-mission. He waves a polite greating to them as he waits for the group to assemble. Upon hearing Arris' familiar voice his smile widens, not having any personal relation to hir but always enjoying the presence of the gator on missions... they're usually sucessful with a gator along. "Hi Arris, nice to be working with you again." he greets. His ears twitch when the name 'Ciana' is mentioned. His head imediently snaps to full attention on the Fennex, "Ah, so you're Ottos... pet. Nice to finally meet you Ciana." he says as he extends a hand to the small fox.

Ebreus rolls his eyes at the agents sarcastic attitude toward him... he never liked the sarcasum their employees showed him even in light of the contributions he's made to their organization but it was just sarcasum, nothing to go off on him about. He takes a breath and says, "So, are we to head to the Orrey or the Fey for the festival or is there a neutral location it is happening in?"

"Hi there!" Zixis says cheerfully, mostly towards the doberman, but also as a passing greetings towards the whole group. Happy to have found the right place, Zixis' stature becomes much more relaxed. Following direction, Zixis doesn't wait for replies and heads outside, eager to get underway, but not before turning to give the group a quadruple thumbs up. Wondering what impression that gave the agents shi didn't recognize, shi steps outside as to not keep the aide waiting. Feeling the wind on this clear-sky evening was invigorating, and only heightened hir already great mood.

Phos offers the aide a raised eyebrow, and naught else, strongly exercising her poker face. She also offers Ebreus a polite nod in return to the greeting, though followed by no words. Despite that, she follows up behind the group, patiently waiting as everyone files through the door and goes outside and disperses and etcetera. The cool air is certainly welcome to her thick fur, though she's long since become somewhat desensitized to the weather. More nanite fuckery, probably, as usual. "It's always parties..."

Upon being greeted, Arris draws hir attention away from the aide and Wurtzite towards Ebreus. "Oh, hi, Ebreus. S'been a bit of a long time since we last saw each other, I think." Sie pauses a moment upon hearing the word 'working'. "...work? Aw, nuts, don't tell me I just got tricked into doing a mission for RSX or anything. I can't say I'm feeling up to that kind of stuff today." Sie lets off a sheepish laugh, adjusting hir bikini a little.

Hearing her name, Ciana looks towards Ebreus. "Um.. Hi. I'm Master Ottie's pet, yes. I'm trying to get out a bit more, you know, meet more people and the like." She stops for a second, before continuing with her words, laughing sheepishly. "But, obviously, it.. it isn't working. Heh.. heh.."

The aide answers Ebreus without any sarcasm this time, maybe he was an asshole because he was bored, "There's a fairgrounds in an empty lot south of here a bit. It's not quite in either gang's territory. The Goblins have taken the area and pushed all of the opposing groups out of the way."

With the group assembled, the aide leads the group out of the building to the makeshift fairground. Wurtzite hugs Arris along the way, not having noticed hir in the lobby.

The fair grounds have been reclaimed, for merely a day or two, by the goblins are quite nice actually. They're rather spacious, there are nice, clean tents with red and white strips running down them vertically. Strangely, perhaps, are the brass chimneys emerging from the tops of them, spewing woodsmoke. The whole area smells strongly of pine smoke and the smell of pumpkin. Incongruously, perhaps, is the lack of pumpkin based jack-o-lanterns, largely replaced by ones carved out of beets and turnips.

Overall, it appears to be quite... odd. Rather strange in and of itself. A mixture of what a steampunk cosplayer might imagine a festival to be around the turn of the last century, probably having confused it with a carnival, which is not usually the same thing, and what a folklore enthusiast might imagine this festival to appear as in their hypothetical age where folklore was all that provided the light of knowledge to those who lived in such times. Of course, this oddity is merely what might jump out at the group before taking into consideration the people that have come to populate this area.

As the group should have expected from the announcement, there are quite a lot of goblins around. About a quarter of them are clothed skimpily, another quarter have costumes on that seem to be pre-1700s peasant clothing(minus grime), another quarter have victorian apparel on, brass gadgets and doodads and all, not that the Victorians actually had all that many brass doodads, and the last quarter is wearing some fairly... maybe late 1800s costumes, probably more apropos to the Victorian era's halloween. There is a single person going around in what might be a fursuit, looking horrifically out of place, alternatively they're one of those plushie people, but Woodfield is fairly out of their natural habitat.

Once the group has gawked for a bit, the fursuiter approaches them and takes off their suit's head, revealing it to be Niles, the RSX officer who was involved in the last operation involving these two gangs. He looks less unhealthily thin when he's wearing a fursuit. He scowls at the group, practically erasing the possibility of snarky remarks on their behalf.

"Don't fucking judge me for this." He says, "Anyway, this is actually probably going to go great, so feel free to partake in the festivities, don't fuck up Heinrich's reconciliation with Margaret. That's it. It's a fucking festival. Enjoy yourselves agents, you've probably earned it." With this remarkably ambiguous tone set, he puts his fursuit head back on and returns to wandering around the festival, the most notable effect of this being the cause of several strange glances.

One of the skimpily clad goblin girls walks over to Escherr, "Hey, it's good to see you here." She looks sheepish as she seems to realize something, "Oh, I don't think I know your name. Anyway, I don't suppose that you might be up for some fun?" She does not appear to be asking the group, only Escherr.

The rest of the group should probably find other things to do.

There's a vendor selling popcorn out of a red glass and wood cart, the wheel of which appears iffy. There's a tent with a meticulously written sign that reads 'BAR', somehow you get the impression that it was a feat of mechanical engineering to get the letters to look that fine.

There's a tent with a sign, in remarkably horrible handwriting, 'Sex'. It does take a special sort of person to wonder what that means.

There are a few tents with a rolled up portion that appear to host carnival games, probably get something from there, though, in traditional carney style, they're probably harder than they appear to be, probably a lot harder. Seems that there are some prizes for winning however.

Then there's an unlabeled tent with yelling coming out of it. Maybe it might benefit from some fine arbitration. Probably only take a single person from the subject of the yelling.

Ebreus smiles at Arris and says, "Well... it's a party but you know how work follows Agents everywhere. There's probably going to need some fast-talking and maybe some form of intimidation or trickery to do." he then turns his head back to Ciana and continues his grin, "Well you've met me at least. Otto and I are packmates and generally amungst those called when 'the best' are needed for harder missions." He indicates the gator and continues, "Arris is amother who

Escherr has to madly chuckle some due to form overlapping his personality just a bit. "The panda needs to lighten up. The brooding hero persona has been overused in every rpg made. Get a few drinks in you at the part I bet your a great talker then." Smirking a bit and moving back a bit to walk with Zixis some knowing the others from previous mission but Zixis from other places. "Finaly getting out as well I see."

Once arriving to the fair grounds Escherr could only look over the place in a bit of delight. Even the little additions to the tents of brass made it all their own. "Fast workers to get this set up in just a day or two. Can see why people want to keep them on our good sides. This could be a repeate thing for celibrations. All need to relax once in awhile and not just in the bars." Looking over the mix of goblins and some others it was nice to see they were getting along after all the back and forth from before.

Trying to hide the growing wide grin at Niles' reveal. Then approched by another as he takes note to give a bow somewhat knowing how the fae took to proper traditions. "Am a bit star struck I will admit. WOnt mind someone to show me what fun you have in mind. You all did great by the way." MOtioning around to well everything here.

Ebreus smiles at Arris and says, "Well... it's a party but you know how work follows Agents everywhere. There's probably going to need some fast-talking and maybe some form of intimidation or trickery to do." he then turns his head back to Ciana and continues his grin, "Well you've met me at least. Otto and I are packmates and generally amungst those called when 'the best' are needed for harder missions." He indicates the gator and continues, "Arris is amother who's on the short-list."

He nods in response to the non-sarcastic response and says, "Sounds nice, if they can hold it than seems they'll be useful in civilizing more of Woodfield." He follows along, sticking near Ciana, to the fairgrouns. Upon taking in the oddity of the fair for a few moments he smiles, this time he wasn't wearing cyberpunk armor and his attire almost fit in being something of a hybrid of video-game type outfits and early 1900s clothes... so not quite the fashon of the fair but more similar that he was last time he had to deal with goblins.

He looks around the fair for a good minute or so before making his decision and saying to Ciana, "I'm going to check out the fair-games. Want to come along?" and after just a moment of time for her to answer he slowly makes his way over to where the games are and begins to look them over, estimating their difficulty/prize ratio for each work of leasure before partaking and then intending to check on the goblin leaders later that night.

With a nod to Escherr, Zixis begins to respond, but stops. H's known here and a goblin knows him, best not be rude. shi Leaving him alone, shi asks hirself: What to do? With the open invitation, Zixis brings a hand up to hir chin and ponders. Everything seemed so tempting. Shi hadn't been to a festival... carnival... thing since before the nanites! Perhaps start slow, figure out what the rest of the group was doing, and maybe join them. Games would be fun, but popcorn sounds nice too.

Tent with yelling? Seems right up Phosphorus' alley. She might get some strange sort of catharsis from breaking a fight up. Or joining it. Or just watching it, who knows!? The panda sends a side glance Escherr's way, with a bit of a raised eyebrow. "I prefer watching, more. If everyone's doing their own thing, I'm fine. Call me easily entertained, I suppose." She watches the weasel move away with that same sort of mildly interested look, before shaking her head.

Completely true to form, she spends a few seconds standing off to the side, glancing over at each of the stalls and booths and various... refreshment stands, before again merely raising an eyebrow and ducking off into the tent where the loud noises are coming from. Maybe she'd grab a drink later, or play a few 'skill' games, but for now, she was curious as to whether see something interesting, here.

"Eheh, well, I suppose you're right there, Ebreus. Opportunities to prove ourselves follow agents surprisingly often" As the group walks down to the fairgrounds, sie returns the hug to Wurtzite, not noticing that Otto was motioning towards hir in explanation of missions. "Hey, Wurtzite. How're you doing? I hope you like my costume, hmm?" Sie stops during hir walk to pose briefly. "I've worked quite a bit on this awhile back, and it's really paying off, aheh." Upon reaching the fairgrounds proper, the gator does raise an eyebrow at the ornery fursuiter whom sie isn't familliar with, but hir attention is quickly drawn away once more. "Ooh, are those carnival games? Oh, man, I hope they have... something I'm good at. Maybe check the bar and get some popcorn after..." Sie glances back at hir kitsune friend and mate. "You heading out to do your own thing?" After getting a response from hir, Arris would pass by a few of the stalls, taking brief glances into each one and trying to figure out which game sie would be the best at.

"Um.. sure? I've got enough freecreds to last the night for both of us, so don't worry about having to pay.." Waving back to Zixis, Ciana quickly follows along behind Ebreus, sticking to as much shade as she could.

The goblin girl giggles at Escherr's starstruckness and pulls him away into a shack off in the distance. Once there, she asks him if he still as the tabs that she gave to him.

(This is for Ebreus, Zixis, Arris, and Ciana)

Wurtzite shakes hir head, "I was thinking about maybe just reporting about this festival. I'd love to just follow you around Arris, see what you're up to"

The games are well enough put together, if perhaps a bit obviously enhanced in difficulty. There's that duck-shooting one, a ring toss, and a few other such things, a goldfish bob, where you catch the fish with your teeth, that doesn't quite sound like a real carnival game, off to the side is a muscular looking goblin posed next to a hammer with the strength testing game.

There's a single booth labelled 'prizes'. It has a pyramid of stuff. Pencils erasers, notepads on the bottom, a brass pistol in the middle, well made, for a pistol made out of a metal not quite suitable for what was put to use, a card below it mentions its unique repeating action (Acts like 2 pistols instead of one!). In the middle between the two first tiers, sits an M4 carbine that apologizes for the fact that it's made out of tin, the gun itself apologizes, or at least, it has an apology carved into its butt. Above that is an M4 Carbine that is not made of tin. It proclaims itself to be a simple fucking assault rifle, and that ought to be enough for you, the guy who made this is clearly quite fond of writing messages into his craftsmanship. Along side that is a knife, poisoned, quick, and also duplicating, somehow. Why is that so much more expensive than the pistol? There's some T-shirts behind the goblin manning the prize booth, one reading, "I helped prevent a gang war, and all I got was this stupid T-shirt.", there are a white t-shirts with a sign over them saying that you can ask for whatever message on them that you like, so long as it fits on the T-shirt. The goblin manning the booth looks a bit nervous. There's one of those 'bodybuilders' making vaguely threatening sounds at him. Stuff like "The strength game is rigged!" he pumps an arm, displaying his remarkable muscles, "How the fuck could these guns not win?" His outfit is quite different than the goblins, being sorta ... retrofuturistic, lots of glowing purple and black lines on his jacket. How did this idiot make his clothing?

(This is for Phos)

It should be no surprise that the argument is between the leaders of the two groups, at least to anyone who happened to take part in the previous mission regarding these two strange factions. As Phosphorus approaches the tent, the incoherent yelling turns into something intelligible, but not necessarily coherent.

"It isn't right that you didn't stay with me!" says a male voice slurring slightly.

"Well I couldn't stay with someone who couldn't love themselves or anyone else!" responds a somewhat female voice, there's something off about her voice too, but it isn't quite as clear what that is. Something in her mouth maybe. "Come on Heinrich, we're making a scene, even right now!"

"Margaret, I don't fucking care that I'm making a scene. Just fucking leave me be." The other voice slurs.

As Phosphorus enters the tent, they find Heinrich, and his former wife arguing about something. There's a few bottles of wine out, around the male goblin, and the female goblin is wearing short socks, nothing else, but she is brushing her teeth. Phosphorus can recall her being the 'queen' of The Fae, if they remember the previous mission.

Escherr figured it was a good idea to have kept them. Fishing about in a few pockets till pulling out the sheet of tabs and showing them to the goblin. "Figured it would of been smart to save them till the party."

Ebreus looks over each game humming a bit to himself. He decides rather quickly yhat he will try the strength game and the shooting game, starting with shooting. He aproaches the shooting stand and greets the goblin attendant, "Hello. What is the charge to play?" he asks and upon being told the cost sets down some credit chips. He takes up the rifle and begins to shoot the ducks... nailing five of them before erratic movements rob him of a seven out of seven. He eyes the goblin in charge of the shooting game for a minute before looking over to the strength stall. He aproaches and says to the body-builder, "Rigged huh? Well... I'll have to see for myself." He then turns his attention to the games attendant and says, "You wouldn't mind if I took a swing for no oppertunity of reward just to show him a good resault is possible, right?"

Seeing every agent go their own way, Zixis shrugged. Pop corn it is then. Walking down the way toward the cart, Shi called out to the figure that appeared to be running it. "Hello Sir and or madam. This festival is awesome! I was wondering about getting some popcorn, my fine goblin friend." Zixis greets with a bow. Smile ever-present, and remembering the goal of diplomacy, Zixis tries to be as courteous as possible.

Arris spends 200 Freecred for RP reasons.

This isn't what Phosphorus was expecting. Not at all, nope. She could deal with two mates having a drunken argument, no problem, but a couple arguing? The panda was out of her element, 100%. And yet, she couldn't exactly slink back out, even if she isn't entirely sure she wasn't exactly... noticed... but it'd reflect poorly on her, certainly. And she was never one to back down from a "winnable" challenge...

"Am I interrupting something?" Phos asks, very conciously attempting to keep her voice as calm and amicable as it can be, a slight change of pace from her usually flat delivery. Still, though. Her sudden appearance might be viewed negatively. She can only hope that her familiar face will dissuade any sudden... ejections.

The sight of the prizes does dishearten the gator slightly - sie was already set on equipment, and was hoping for something more like one of those giant stuffed animal plushies one could "win" at a normal carnival. The buff-looking bodybuilder bullying the prize attendant does catch hir attention, but sie knows sie probably wouldn't be able to talk him down, nor take him in a fight should things go south. Sie does also notice the duck shooting game shortly before walking straight towards it, getting in line after Ebreus and watching him play. "How much does it cost to play one game?" Sie looks towards the goblin booth attendant, a bit of excitement in hir eyes. Upon paying the price, sie holds hir breath, and takes careful aim at the dancing duck targets. The BB gun was definately not what sie was used to - too light, didn't have much power behind the shots, and was poorly upkept - but, with much prior training with firearms, sie was more than able to succeed with the gallery. "Woo hoo!" With a smile, sie hands the attendant back the BB gun, and perhaps waits for tickets to use in redeeming for prizes.

"I swear I'm forgetting something- Oh, right, my costume! Um, Ebreus, can you wait here for a second?" She reaches into her duct-tape backpack, scrounging around for her costume. Eventually, she pulls out a salmon-tinted lab coat, along with what seems to be a black fire hose attached to a white box. "Excuse me, I've got to go put these on!" With that, she runs back behind any cover nearby, a huge smile practically spray-painted across her face.

The goblin smiles at Escherr taking two tabs from his sheet, "Did you know that what you saw was really odd for Margaret?" She asks, before putting it into her mouth. She laughs, "She's sober normally. She was just trying to work through some issues that day? You should take some" She stops, "I'm sorry, I don't know your name. I'm Marcella"

Ebreus' decent accuracy elicits a positive reaction from the shooting game, "Wow, you're pretty good son." His tone is less patronizing than the usage of the word 'son' would imply, "Too bad though, those ducks are tricky sometimes." He hands Ebreus 4 tickets, "That's good for a mid-tier prize."

The bodybuilder walks up behind Ebreus and pats him on the back, a bit hard when he sees him lose, "See what I fucking mean buddy? What do you think we should do?" There's an implication to his voice, sneering and jeering as he thinks for that.

The goblin popcorn vendor looks at Zixis and raises an eyebrow at their mode of address, "Well, close enough. Today I'm feeling abit neuchacho though. Have some popcorn though. I'd charge you 5 creds, but you know, that's not the neuchacho way, not today at least." it says before scooping out a bag of popcorn.

Margaret points towards the panda, "See Heinrich. Do you really want to bring them into it?"

Heinrich looks a little bit apologetic, "Ah." he says, "Sorry to rope you into this I suppose. Oh. I remember you actually. Thank you for your help with us. Believe it or not, this is a good time for me."

Margaret shakes her head at the panda, "This has been interesting." she says, "Look Heinrich. I think we should talk about this to someone else." She looks at Phosphorus apologetically, "I don't need you to really know what to say, but we need someone to hear us, I think. Would you be willing to do that for us?" She waits for Phosphorus' answer.

Wurtzite cheers as Arris takes down the ducks, "That's fantastic Arris!" shi hugs the gator, speaking lower, "I had no idea you were such a hot shot."

The stall goblin tips up his hat, perplexed at the outcome, "That's some very fine shooting. Here, take these 5 tickets, those'll get you a top tier prize-" As he sees that Arris isn't quite as pleased with the prizes on offer, continues, exhaling a bit more easily "Or, if none of those take your fancy, maybe we can find you something a little less useful."

"It was not hard to tell she was going through a few things. Even more so after the revelation about past relations." Rubbing at his chin some and only taking one as having no clue to the effects of things. "They will have to work through a few things before anything works but getting the two clans together is a good start to an olive branch. All have a bad day right?" Smiling a bit as all have had a wild night or two just to forget something. "Escherr."

Ebreus smiles when he's given the go-ahead and takes the hammer. He swings and makes his strike on the leavor. He watches the machignisms as he hits. He makes note of the raised plate and the otherwise perfect craftsmanship of the game. He smiles and says, "Seems my arms aren't in it if I don't actually play." He looks over to the bodybuilder and says, "Well... we win, and take the most alluring prize." he sets the down some credit chips for another try. At this point Ciana asks for a moment for herself and nods, "Alright, see you in a second." he says. He then takes a breath and readies the hammer he reaches into the ground with his control over nanites to grab ahold of the plate and pull it down for an easier hit.

He raises the hammer over and slightly behind his heand, shifts his stance slightly for better aim, and with all the torque he can manage swings the hammer to impact the leavor, a big grin on his face all the while.

Ebreus spends 200 Freecred for RP reasons.

Tilting hir head; ears flicking, Zixis questions, "Neuchacho? what err-nevermind." Attempting to avoid being rude, Zixis accepts the hot popcorn, quickly taking small handfuls and eating. "This is pretty good! Thank you very much. Heres to contiued friendship!" shi moves the pop corn bag in a toasting gesture. Glancing over at the commotion near the games, Zixis figures something interesting happened. As shi turns to the neuchacho to say goodbye, shi notices the damaged wheel. "Say friend, how'd you wheel this out here on a busted wheel like that?"

Phosphorus mutters a curse under her breath in a foreign language, glancing back and forth between the two with her arms crossed over her chest. Diplomacy wasn't her speciality, and for good reason, but she could probably work it out. If only by liberally applying common sense. Hopefully. She moves further inside of the tent, glancing around the area for a table, maybe. And some chairs. It's best to do this when everyone's properly sitting, yes.

"Yeah, sure, not a problem, not at all," Phosphorus says, still tryiung to be as friendly as possible, without being overbearing. But, whatever. It'll do. "I'm always willing to help solve issues, yes."

Arris chuckles a little at Wurtzite's second hug, blushing a little as shi praises hir marksmanship skills. "Weeeeeeell, it mostly comes from missions, I'd think. Surprising how snipers tend to be rather few..." The gator gladly takes the tickets, quirking an eyebrow at the mention of something "less useful". "Oh? Well, I didn't really want to get that knife or the other weapons or anything - though, they all do look very well-crafted. Have a few plush toys, by any chance? I like to collect those."

Popping out from behind Ebreus, Ciana taps him on the shoulder a few times. In a clearly fake German accent, she poses and starts to quote the character she's dressed up as. "Do you need ze healing?" She could barely hold in her laughter before she could finish the phrase. She'd clearly changed her outfit, going from something casual to a full-on medical-type look. "Well, how do I look?"

The goblin girl laughs, she looks escherr in the eyes, Escherr can see her pupils dilate rapidly. That's weird for acid to do, but alrighty, nanite-acid is a thing. You suddenly know your true name, you can practically see the shadows on the walls get brighter as your eyes dilate too, as they widen to take in the world with reckless abandon. "Don't stare at anything too bright" Marcella says, "This stuff is wicked potent, betchu can already feel it. Say," she says, her voice distorting as it reaches Escherr's ears, you can trust your ears for now, but for how long? "I'm up for some more... intimate fun, if you like"

With Ebreus' swing, the striker shoots up into the bell, causing it to resonate wonderfully. Off in the distance, there's a return sound carrying words of some sort. How odd, but there's scarcely time to concentrate on it before the goblin manning the strength tester shakes Ebreus' hand. "Good show. That was fantastic. Here's five tickets, top tier prize yadda-yadda."

The bodybuilder shrugs, "Musta been the guard plate." he chuckles, "Sorry for causing the problem for you or anyone else." He reflects, "I guess I'm fairly vain about my strength." He walks over to the prize booth and apologizes to the goblin manning it, who can't quite believe someone so indignant becames so reflective so quickly, "Uh. No problem. Thanks for admitting it." The bodybuilder says that its no problem, and walks out of the festival, likely to be seen again in some follow-up.

The neuchacho goblin looks a little bit annoyed, "Is that damned wheel broken again?" it shakes its head, "Well, that's not your problem, unless you want to help me fix it? There'd be more popcorn if you like." Though his tone suggested that it didn't need Zixis' help, its eyes practically called out to hir.

The goblin at the booth nods, "I think we can work something out like that. If nothing else, I think we can provide a chit for that. Though, we'd have to make it out of someone willing, I'd rather not be the subject, if you don't mind." The goblin adds, rather inexplicably panicked.

"Hmm. Arris, what kinda plushies do you have so far?" Wurtzite asks.

There's a goblin that get's what Ciana is dressed up as, but they're trying to figure out if what Ebreus did counts as cheating, since they put the machine together incorrectly in the first place, they give a nod to the fennec though, in what recognition they could muster.

Margaret smiles in response to the panda's help, "thank you so much." She offers, she prods Heinrich. "Oh, my turn I guess" he says, he launches into a diatribe about what it was like losing his masculinity, which, he realized quickly, he had depended on. This continues for some time.

You learn somehting new every day it seems. Least the wonder of things to be has not ran out just yet in the world. Getting use to the feeling of the universe around him, or least his perception of it. Guess it was a good thing he was not handling negotiations for the day. 'I do." Answering the question to what he felt. His ears swivling to the distorted voiced that seemed to alter in volume even being right next to him. "I don't think I could say no if I wanted to at this point, not that I would." Giving that bit of a crazy lost grin that his form easily supplied. It was probably a good thing he was not a true insane pshyco weasel, wondering what the effect of that would be on them. "Don't have all my wits about me so wont be doing much may as well be something fun~" Escherr was not sure of the proper etiquette of such a thing on a misson but he would be little help at this point. Also perhaps it would be good to have an in with the goblins in some light.

Ebreus grins as he sees the striker rise and hit the bell creating a satisfying ding. His grin grows as he hears the victorious ring and he looks over to the game-attendant as he rises back to his full 7'1" standing height. "See, just requires a heartfelt swing and having put some money up." he says to both goblins. He nods as the bodybuilder and vender goblins make up and then heads to see what prizes he can acquire with his winnings. Upon seeing the laptop, even if it isn't currently functional, his eyes light up. He smiles as wide as he can and gleefully turns in his tickets for the device and requests a t-shirt emblazened with the RSX Logo and below it a text reading, 'Yes, I'm a Prommie. I also keep your lights on and bills payed.' and asking the goblin to hold the shirt, once they're done for when he returns so that he may be able to aid in the diplomacy.

Leaning down, Zixis goes to inspect the wheel. "Hmmmm, well, these spokes are bent, the wheel is angled wrong and loose on the axle, and the axle is bent! How the heck did you move this out here?" Shi looks up to the cart keeper with an intense puzzled look. "The good news, none of this is hard to fix. All the parts are here, I just need a wrench to tighten the bolts, the rest is just elbow grease."

Getting to work, shi focuses on the spokes. They're jsut strong wires, and are easily pushed back in. The wheel angle took some time, but with a keen eye, is easily fixed with a few good pulls. Lifting the cart a bit, careful not to spill the contents, Zixis braces the wheel with one foot, and presses the still axle with another. It's not very dense, and easily bends under hir weight. Now the wheel jsut needs to be tightened. "Sadly, I don't have a wrench on me. Embarassing I know, but the wheel should turn now, though a bit unsteady."

"If it concerns you to such a degree, Heinrich, I would suggest properly doing something about it, then," Phosphorus says, rather blunty. No mincing words with this panda. Her hands are a touch animated -- she's obviously speaking more naturally than before. She can deal with this. "You obviously miss your masculinity, yes. There are pills out there that'd help with that general feeling, now. Or, if you'd prefer to go a more natural route, I suggest you really take some time to identify what your masculine ideal is, yeah? Once you have that properly staked out, you have a goal, and you can start working towards the goal. Done and done."

"Oh, no, no, I don't want to keep someone alive as a prize or anything." Arris gets a little flustered upon the mentioning of having to make a plushie out of a person. "I mean, uh, you can't just make a normal, not-person plushie? Out of felt, or something like that." Wurtzite's question about the plushie collection does pique hir interest, though, and sie turns around to respond briefly. "Ooh! I gotta show you my collection next time you drop by Zephyr."

Ebreus not answering her question slightly worried Ciana. "Eb..? Um.. alright, I guess.." She holds her paw out for a high..three(?) to the goblin who had noticed her, before stepping up to the strength game. Offering what she could in order to have a game, she steps up to the plate.

Arris shakes hir head. "Well, no worries. You guys are good at crafting things, right? Can you make a plushie, or, uh, does knowlege of weapons not translate well when making soft fluffy things?" Wurtzite's questioning of hir plushie collection piques hir attention, and sie turns around briefly to talk to hir. "Oh, I should totally show you my plushie collection sometime. Ask me about it next time I catch you at Zephyr."

Ciana spends 200 Freecred for RP reasons.

Marcella smiles, her face flowing as you look at it, it's only a little freaky though, and the there's a glow to her eyes and hair in a color you've never seen before. It's very nice, "I'm so happy to hear it." She kisses Escherr, seemingly lost in the sensation. After a moment, she draws his hand to her breasts, "I think you ought to go further."

The goblin at the prize booth nods and chuckles at the idea, "That's quite a shirt you've got there. Especially if its true." After a few minutes with a shirt press, spewing steam and such, the goblin holds up a t-shirt with exactly what Ebreus asked for.

The goblin neuchacho shakes its head, "That's a good question. I wasn't here to move it, but it's possible they just carried it. Thanks for that." Its expression becomes more skeptical when Zixis gets to the part about it being embarassing not having a wrench, "Huh. I've not heard of anyone being embarassed by that. A screwdriver maybe, but never a wrench. There're just too many different sizes and shapes to carry them all around."

It looks at Zixis' taur half, "You might manage it though."

Heinrich laughs, "Of course, I've already done that long ago. Practically as soon as RSX realized I was sane enough to contract. But I feel aggrieved that Margaret left me so soon as she did."

Margaret's expression hardens a bit, "Well you know I was with you for the first two years." The explanation was more or less the same structure as before, but focused around the loss of intimacy rather than masculinity. This goes on for a subjective eternity for Phosphorus.

The goblin nods, "That'd take a bit longer We'd have to be send it out to you later. We're not exactly the best craftsmen in the Brass Orrery, so, they're at the bar right now, drinking with the some of the Fae. I'm not going to be the one to interrupt them" He looks a bit sheepish at the last part.

The strength game runner shrugs and hands the fennec the hammer. She'll probably do just fine, he thinks, after all, look at that medic outfit.

Ebreus' attention is quickly caught when Ciana is asks after him. He turns to look at her and seeing the medic costume he grins, "Oh, now that is cool." he says. Then as it occured to him Ciana quoted Medic a moment earlier his eyes widen slightly, "Pretty awesome actually." he says. He then accepts the shirt and replies, "It is, you can ask around any of the factions and asking after the most competant agents I'm certain you'll hear three names over and over, Ebreus, Otto, and Arris." he says, indicating himself as he says his name. He steps back and turns his attention to Ciana to watch her own attempt

Escherr puzzled a bit lost in it all as paws move about and grip. Even the sense of touch was effected some as his eyes betrayed him. "Further into what?" Not of the greatest thinking compacity but at the same time trying to think of a name for those strange colors. Other paw movung lower feeling over every inch of the goblin,

He steps back and turns his attention to Ciana to watch her own attempt. Seeing it get pretty far, well for a fennec girl, he says, "Good try, Ciana." He glances around then continues, "I should find Heinrich. Want to come with or try the games some more?"
