A well-dressed skunkbeast stands ready with a backpack on and a little cap that reads 'Parcel Delivery' on his head. Despite this, a skunk beast he remains, and on four paws he resides. "Meeting's here," he calls out to anyone that'll listen. "Damn it all, we need a real office..."

Wearing his usual duds, Otto scampers up the steps and into the meeting area, a smile on his face and a kick in his step evident to all, even the least observant of mutants. It was a good day, right amidst the best of the holdiays, was it not? He moves up towards the skunk beast and clasps his paws, "Here? Alright then! On with the show, and what not!" the canine beams, tail wagging excitedly behind him. It was about time he'd met the other people working this duty.

A real office would surely come eventually, but it was early days for many things in this restoration, and the postal service was indeed one. Max, for his part, simply seems to be wandering by at the time, on way out to parts unknown, only to glance his way over at the little gathering, a turn in his step choosing to divert his way on over. Who said roadside recruitment wasn't a possibility? "Good to see it's being made official.", he notes, more to himself than to anyone else.

Skylar trails right behind Otto, zipping up her jacket as the cold starts to get to her. She cups her hands in her face and huffs a few times to get the cold out of her snout. "Couldn't we just get one of those makeshift tents...? Beats being out in the open in this season..."

Miru was running towards the meet up location as soon as she heard the broadcast. reaching the place, the okami stopped in her tracks and began panting heavily as she recuperated. She was not a parcel delivery officer, any people who worked for this service would know. "Hello, I heard about this little meeting, and I was wondering if you had the time to answer a couple of questions, for citizens wondering about this new delivery service." Miru said excitedly as she looked over the skunk beast, "Well, I can also help if necessary as well." She quickly added with a sheepish smile.

Khaybat is kind of following after Otto, Mokou and Skylar though she's staring at one of their tushes in particular. Then again she couldn't really help herself either! Although having never been pregnant--or egged--before she wasn't sure if the heat she's constantly in was part of it normally or from the pill she was given beforehand. Either way she ends up squeaking and sliding to a stop when the others do, then looks around at their surroundings.

The skunk beast perks an ear at Miru. "Huh? Wait, I heard of this somewhere... What was it... papa-sazzi or something? You one of those? Huh... Never met one of those. Oh, rest of you." He waves a paw at the lot of the crowd. "We need a map, a good map. We need to know what roads are fastest and safest to get to and from places so we can get people's stuff to them as quick as possible."

Skylar ponders for a moment, crossing her arms and wings to protect herself from the chill. "So...we need to basically map out all of the city and make notes of...iffy places to avoid? That'll take a while to do."

Maxwell steps forward as people call for a map, and while he does dig around in his backpack for a bit, prying out paper, it is unfortunately not the precious map he's asking for. Thankfully, pencil soon comes with it! "My wife keeps good tabs on some of the eastern parts of the city, and I know the rooftops pretty well... Does anyone have a proper old world map of the place? We could draw one out, but it's going to be rough."

"A map?" Otto quirks a brow, then reaches into his pack, pulling out a laptop. "I got something on here, but..." he scratches his head and shrugs "Not really reliable. Some pre-P-day files, and so much has changed since then that I doubt these things..." he is cut short when Maxwell speaks out. "Oh... I guess they CAN be useful. Yeah, I got exactly what you need. Though, you'll uh, have to find me a working printer if you want them on paper..."

Back into the thick of things, Mokou pulled herself up and threw herself back out there. Information as much as procurement of a job, location or something of the sort... Didn't so much matter as the name that was given with it. Mail. Delivery. Parcel Packages. The ability not perhaps to ship, but to deliver. That... The little lass felt herself grin as she continued on up that beat roadside. A few familiar faces, and a particular skunk lad bent... No, Bestial. Ah, O-course. Not that it was any matter, as long as they knew what was going on... Didn't so much matter as what they looked or worked as. As for what they knew? Well... if those ears of hers picked up on anything, twas something basic enough. "A map, hmm?" Moving on closer, the little lass had to raise a brow at the statement. "Well, knowing the layout of the city is good and all, but most people can find that on the old files. Pre-P Day..." A pause... a familiar jackal and racoon speaking up... "Ah, much like that. An old map can provide the overall, the updates can fill out the new... And then we simply have to figure out who lives where... I believe." A quirk of her brow was given back to the little skunk. "Or, were you just looking for the physical location of things on a map of sorts?"

Miru takes a deep breath as her heart rate slowly goes back to normal, raising a brow at the skunk beast's response, "Papa-sazzi...? Paparazzi?! Biscuits!! How dare you?! I am a journalist with integrity." The little canine suddenly catches herself and coughs, cheeks reddening at the outburst. "Err, no I am not paparazzi. I am just here to write a report on this new parcel delivery service you guys are operating. Look at it this way, I can refer people to you so that you can get more recruits." Miru says in a slightly apologetic tone.

Khaybat goes to cling to Skylar though instead of attempting to lewd them she seems to share this chilliness and is attempting to warm up with the other dragoness! She thought being something that breathes fire would keep her warmer! Then again she doesn't tend to leave the Zephyr building a whole lot and has trouble keeping track of how cold it's gotten. Yet as she cuddles up with the Skylar she looks over their shoulder, trying to watch and listen as the skunk beast talks to them!

"Do I look like I have a printing anything?" The skunk shakes his head. "Talking with the ladies instead of jumping on them is still kinda new to me." His eyes wander over the females. "And not fighting the men for, you know, alpha position. It's a bold new world and all that, so all I got is this hat." He sits down on his haunches. "Little lady, you want to help? You know how to get around the city? Do that, write it down, you know, with a pencil or whatever ya got. I'd do it, but, eh, fingers." He raises a paw and wriggles his claws that look quite unfitting for any agile work. "We didn't all get lucky on the nanite wheel of fortune."

Skylar scoots closer to Miru and pets the tiny-not-quite-wolf's head. "It's okay sir." She says towards the skunkbeast. "Miru is a bit eager but I believe they have the town's best interest in mind. She then is surprised as Khay clings to her. The smaller but thicker dragoness seem a bit annoyed, but welcomes the sharing of body temperature. "So...we brute force it, we separate, go street by street and mark potential hazards and...dangerous groups...right?"

Otto calls, and Max answers, stepping on over to the man! "Perfect, it'll be a bit rough, but we'll transcribe the thing on pad." A peer over to the laptop, and now Max's eyes scan, hunting for a good writing surface... Table, chair, clipboard! Even a nice solid flat hunk of wood would do! Mokou practically even explains his idea to the others for him! "Got it in one."

Otto blinks a few times once Mokou's tone rings out, melodious and unmistakable to the jackal's ears it was, though quite unexpected given the nature of the meeting. "Hon?" he tilts his head and arcs a brow as he sets the laptop somewhere Maxwell can work, leaving it with him for a while. He opens his maw to ask a question and make a verbal jab about her having so many jobs and interests, but then again that'd be some next level hypocrisy on his part, so he shuts it up and settles for a smile and an air kiss cast her way. Pulling a pencil out of his pack, he joins Maxwell and starts to aid with transcribing the information. "I have a ruler and some graphing equipment too, if you need it. I mostly carry them around to scribble notes and make quick blueprints if the muse hits me." the canine offers as he works~

Miru purses her lips and shrugs, "I do know my way around the city. I guess I can help with that, a field report." The okami looked upwards as she felt the weight of a hand on her pith helmet, finding out it was the Lab Six dragon, "Umm, thank you, Miss." Turning around, Miru just waited for now given that the plan has been decided on, "So, how are we doing this then? Teams or singles?"

Mokou shot a brief thumbs up back towards Max as he seemed to practically preen. Twasn't a complicated concept, but would help cut down on the brute force-ing pretty easily. An idle thought crossed her mind there for a moment, looking back to the skunk beast. "Mhmm. Fair. Bit difficult to write like that I imagine. Especially considering we'd be lookign for... Road... Constructions... Peoples... Hmm..." Her eyes rose, considering how to perhaps phrase it for a moment... spying that precious jackal shooting a kiss her way. Twas just a moment break to return a physical one, before settling back down and considering. "Well, Hey. Otto, Khaybat. Max, I think you were there too. You know that one lad who was our extract on the Tahoe missions, and Rod with the Farm's truck? Yeah, might be nice to see if the road is truck passable, or even large taur-passible. Might be able to even recruit them to get a quick lay of the land... Mike would be best, what with his copter... Or hey!" A brief glance about the lot. "Anyone know someone with wings?"

Khaybat goes to keep cuddling up with Skylar all the while though she doesn't seem to notice shs's boobiehatting them in order to lean over their shoulder either. When talk of mapping is made the dragoness pokes her tongue out and makes a thbting motion without actually adding the sound effect. She knows how to do lots of things but maps aren't one of those! Instead she cuddles up more with the fellow dragoness, watching as the others talk to the skunk beast.

Skylar looks at Mokou as she mentions wings. "Errm...I do, dunno how long I can keep flight in this weather, but it's way better than going road by road, street by street, it'll be hard to make notes while flying too, but I can try. Khaybat can try to if-" She notices that she's getting boobhat'd. "If...she stops clinging to me..."

"Smithson?" Otto quirks a brow, and seems to mull it over, pencil tapping his chin "Yeah... yeah, he's been places, though he mostly does things outside the bubble from what I recall. Also I doubt Zephyr would just fork out the cash needed to fuel and maintain his jeep just for the benefit of this service. They already pulled out of their agreement with RSX, so... it's clear they're just pooling their resources." Otto sighs bitterly and shakes his head "Doubly skeptical about the copter in that regard. Those are so rare to come by... but yeah, a squad of flying mutants might be the best bet. Not taking part in that though, flying is not my forte." Otto shrugs, before returning to work on the map. "Huh, we could arrange a deal with big Z, though."

And as Otto goes on about tools and blueprints, Max can only beam. "Oh, man after my own heart, you are.", he notes, already back in his pack... And while he accepts the paper, out comes his own ruler! A quick, also toasting tap between the pair before they set to work. Its a rough thing, quickly drawn squares for buildings, parallel lines to denote roads - but between the pair of them, it slowly starts to fill out! "Just give us a few minutes, we'll get to the next point!"

The skunkbeast shook a paw. "Nah nah. The city's a grid, we know that, but we need to know what way's the best ways to go, on the ground, where most of our delivery people, like me, have to go. An air peek isn't going to do me too much good if there's a big hole or a gang's decided they 'own' a particular road and ain't happy to ee me roaming down it, you know?"

Errant thoughts flowed like water through the little fennec's mind, half of herself lost in the moment. Skylar's voice cut through the air though, Mokou flicking her prodigious ears up, glancing back with a swift shake of her head. "Ah. nothing like taking notes while flying there. Would be likely going in teams if you did that. Someone small enough like... Ah... Ahem..." A pause... the lass looking back to the skunkbeast... before nodding. "Right! Right, shouldn't presume most of the delivery crew could go about in the air. If that's the cause, avoid the Gryphon Nesting grounds, and you're golden... But on the ground... Got it." A nod, the lass pacing for a moment, "Same issue with the vechicles you mentioned... Would be handy, but not practical. Hmm... Brute forcing it may just have to be what we do then..." A sigh and a shake of her head... before a slight possibility arose, "Oh, One thing though. I know we got the map of the sewer system not long ago. Was part of the team to secure it. We including that in possible ground paths? Might be handy if above ground is not passable..."

The jackal casts Maxwell a smile, then happily shares his tools with him, before glancing back towards the skunk beast. "Sounds to me like the best way to free up more paths is to keep those gangs and ferals in check, chief. Be best if we arm and train our delivery people, get them ready for a proper tussle, and work with the Fairhaven patrol teams to ensure things are running as smooth as silk. I get it that it ain't our job, but it's an occupational hazard, like it or not. We either deal with it, or it deals with us. If you want the streets surveyed on ground, I can happily help with that. Hell, I do patrols every day, mostly where Robert points me. That's where the green is." Otto rubs his index finger into his thumb. "High risk, high reward, no?" He then nods and gestures towards his wee mate, "And then there's being smart, Mokou's right as rain, the sewers are practically spotless by now. We could easily make use of them."

Khaybat doesn't appear to notice she's accidentally boobhatting poor Skylar due to their height difference--she's just clinging to them for warmth against the cold! When mention of flying is made though the dragoness ends up flapping her wings in a manner that might make others think she's just now remembering she even has them. Then again she never really did try to use her wings in her bawk form before changing either. She rawrs, apparently in agreement with the other dragoness.

"If the sewer is the best way to get somewhere, we need to know that!" He rises up. "Look, this isn't going to be a one and done kinda thing. You folks up to helping keep the route information up to date? One thing's constant about things these days, nothing's fucking constant!" He huffs softly. "I'm not trying to complain or nothing, but you know where I'm going?"

Skylar hrrrms, not looking as bothered by the cold as before. "That also means we can't use vehicles, since we'd probably woosh through any gangs. We are basically being the 'bait' for any dangers everyone else might encounter in a normal day at the job." She continues trying to gently push Khay off her while listening to Mokou, Otto and the deliver skunk. "Seems like we need to team up with Security and make some sort of Scout Team... But for now, we could all check the sewers and see if there's no giant monsters around."

Miru rubs her chin, looking glancing the area they are in before stepping nearer to the raccoon to see what he is writing down, "Not sure about the whole deal with Zephyr, don't think they will agree, or people would like Z messing about with parcels." Shrugging, she continues, "Maybe, going on foot is for the best, at least we can then return and advice the people doing the job on how to best move around the city."

Otto rolls his eyes. "Right, we get an idea of what's up, what's down, and what's going around, write it down somewhere and update that shit as the days go by. Got it. Like I said, though. The sewers are manned and maintained, cleaned to perfection... kinda. Clean enough to use and provide clear water, anyway. That should be good enough. If you want a map of the sewers somebody has to have made one by now. So much work put in there, SOMEBODY has to have stood up and said HEY!" he snaps his fingers "We should map this stuff out, you know? If they haven't... well that's just bad management."

Soon, its done! The ringtail finding a nice place to sprawl the new map out, hewn in pencil and with only the most basic markers for the main roads, names omitted. "Alright, so this, as we know, is our city.", he tries to explain. "So now, we need to update it for the last 9 years, at least. Easiest way, split up the work. Take sections. This is the worst of it, once its done, people just need to keep on top of the new events. I heard a sewer map? Who's got that sewer map?" Quickly, his head turns to and fro, looking for a hand to go up.

Skylar clears her throat. "Otto...maybe that's us?" She asks with a shrug.

"No, Sky... I mean the pen pushers. The ones that don't get their hands dirty. We're field agents."

With a plan in place, the parcel service could more with greater confidence. It was far from perfect, but it was a step closer.
