Antiman not completely buying Meni's explination sie still looks visibly shaken as sie reaches for the tobasco sauce. Sie then shoots Mel a look, "Why did you order her to not dislike sexual orders," Hir ears then flatten down in shame, "And why didn't I even think when she told me that she had recived such an order."
Melanie still didn't quite have a grasp on silverware. Shi took the fork and tried to pick up the omlette, and it was too big, it flopped off. Shi made an annoyed face and tried again. Melanie looks defensive. "What? I was trying to help! She said she didn't like it, made her uncomfortable...so, I made it so she wouldn't be uncomfortable." Zero doesn't react at all to the door closing. She trembles a little harder when Meni starts stroking her and she shakily gets out "Th-this one...thought she was fighting this whole time, but...She's losing. Isn't she? F-fuck...What does she do? Can she do anything? God...Maternal Beast, whoever, please help..."
Meniatz gives Zero a kiss. "Actually, I think you are winning." Shi curls around Zero as shi gently rocks her back and forth. "You know, I've been thinking...maybe, I should give you a name. A real name. Something we can call you when you gain your freedom. Would you like that?"
Antiman almost visibly tries to keep hir self from physicaly or verbably from biting Mel's head off. After applying the tobasco sauce to the omlet sie belives hirself calm enough to speak, "It caused a fundamental change in her personality that could have made it easier for the Administrator to completely take her over. Thats why. Its been trying to destroy your mother from the day it make its presents known to her."
Nova, sensing the tension in the room, decides to sit in between Melanie and Anti, giving each of them a small kiss as shi eats hir meal. "I hope Miss Zero is okay. Mom says she will be fine--that she is stronger than we realize."
Zeroone finally spins around to look at meniatz, her face a mask of despair. "HOW!? How the *HELL* is she *winning*?! She's not supposed to like this! She never wanted any of this and now she's been...fucking...*tricked* into liking it! Explain how that's winning!" Zero could probably be easily heard in the kitchen. Melanie turns her head to the shouting in the bedroom with a look of slight concern before turning back to Anti. "Well..." shi wasn't sure what to say really. "I mean..." she stares at her egg for a moment. "I just wanted her to not hate doing things for people. She's gotta do it anyway, there's not really...I mean, she's never told me about any sort of real cure going on or whatever, so I thought "Well, if it's not gonna happen, she might as well be okay with things until it does." you know?" Shi accepts the kiss from nova with no fanfare and attempts to eat her egg again. Wasn't she supposed to use that blade thing? She picked it up with the wrong hand and started trying to cut.
Nova smiles and shows Melanie how to eat hir omlette, guiding hir hands until shi is able to use hir utensils comfortably on hir own.
Meniatz churls as shi holds Zero close to hir. "The fact that, in spite of everything that has happened to you, you are able to keep fighting, means that you can win---that you will win. You always did what you could to break free of your bonds. I've always loved that about you." Shi sighs as shi strokes Zero's hair. "We believe in you, Lucy--that's the name I came up with for you. You can win this."
Antiman gives a small open beaked smile to Nova, "I hope so." Sie sends a silent prayer to the Maternal Beast for comfort and strength to Zeroone and for wisdom and guidence for hir. Hir ears flick to the shouting from the bedroom a breif flicker of consern crosses hir expression, Sie uses hir knife and fork to take a large piece of hir omlet while sie thinks, "It has been said that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. What you did with the purest of motives on your part had a conquence you did not forsee. You need to think sometimes before you act in kindness. Sometimes you need to ask questions from more experianced people before you decide to act."
Nova nods. "Miss Zero probably could have helped you. She's really smart. Nice, too. I can't imagine why anyone would want to hurt her."
Zeroone continues shaking even as Meniatz holds her. Hir words were comforting to a point, but she still felt miserable. She looked up when Menaitz called her Lucy, one of the purple rings of her eyes turned blue. "Lucy?" she thinks a moment. "That...that's a nice name." she seems to have calmed down some. "What...what's this one gonna do now? She's scared out of her mind. She's no closer to finding a way out, and she feels like the walls are closing in on her."
Melanie kinda feels like it's pointless to use the utensils when shi could just break off peices and eat with hir hands. Shi glances to the hot sauce bottle that Anti used and tried using it hirself, putting some on hir omlette. Hey, try anything once, right? It was at this moment that Mel was in fact *not* following anti's advice, and trying the sauce without asking about it. Shi puts a piece of sauced egg in hir mouth and immediately widens hir eyes. "Wha...what is this. WHAT IS THIS! Aaaah!" shi spits out the egg, and then continues spitting.
Meniatz gives Melanie a napkin and wipes hir face clean. "Please be careful with that, Mel. It's spicy. You really shouldn't have so much at once...of course my mom somtimes drinks that stuff." Shi shudders as shi offers Melanie some of hir spinach and cheese omlette.

Antiman takes a bite from the large piece of omlet on hir fork and tilts hir head back to swallow. Sie almost chokes trying not to laugh. After sie swallows, "Its called tobasco sauce its made from the fremented peppers of the cyane pepper, a spicy pepper of the chili family. Nova could you get Mel some milk to help with the burning...unless sie perfers it from the source that is." Sie takes another bite from hir omlet.
Meniatz churls happily and gives Zero a kiss on the forehead as shi rubs her belly. "Well, you and your family are going to make sure that you gain your freedom so you can live a happy life with us. We are going to help Melanie learn to be a better person, and we are going to make sure you feel safe and loved." Shi coos softly and sweetly. "But for now, I think we should go finish our meal. We seem to be making some progress with your daughter."
fetches a bottle of Meniatz's milk from the refrigerator. "Milk is actually really great for when you eat spicy food."
Zeroone nods, still looking like she had an upset upset, but at least she wasn't shaking anymore, or on the edge of wailing. She sits up and hugs Meniatz.
Melanie takes the napkin and begins wiping hir tongue with it, then sticks it in hir mouth while making a whining noise. She glances to the spinach-cheese omlette and tries a little bit. "Huuuurts" shi whines. "Why would *anyone* want that shit?" After shi listens to Anti, shi says "I don't care, just make it sta-ha-haaap." shi whines while sticking hir tongue out a bit at the end.
Meniatz hugs Zero back. "I love you, Lucy." Shi giggles. "I like calling you that."
holds up the milk bottle, "Mom's?" Shi then points to Anti's breasts, "Or hirs, Miss Melanie?"

Antiman cocks hir head to the right, "Everything in moderation. A small amount of something hot turns a bland meal into somthing deliecous or can cover up the rotten tast of food if in the wastes. You could have asked first and have spared yourself a painful lesson. The milk will neutralize the chemical that causes pain in that sauce."
Zeroone chuckles a little. "Well she likes you calling her it. This one thinks she's worried the others enough, though."
Melanie reaches out to grab the bottle, immediately sucking on it. Really, shi just went with what was closer, not what she wanted or not. She has about a third of the bottle down before she slows. Pulling her mouth off, shi says "Bleh...wow. Ow. Sure, whatever you say, lady." Shi goes back to drinking a bit.
Meniatz nods. "I think so, too. Would you like me to carry you in, or do you want to walk over on your own."
Antiman cocks hir head back to normal, "The spinach in that omlet will probably upset your stomach. You and I arn't excatly made to eat plants." Sie cuts hir omlet in half, "You can have half of mine. I used much less sauce on mine than yours. I think you'll be surprised by the diffrence."
Nova smiles as Melanie drinks the wyvern's milk. "How's it taste?" Seeing Anti giving Mel some of hir omlette, she walks over to the oven and turns it on. "I'll just make another omlette for you two to split." Shi says with a smile.
Zeroone says "Carry her, please...If it's not a problem.
Melanie looks at Anti's eggs with caution, and says "Uh...how about no." As for Nova's question of the taste, shi says "I think I liked Mom's gryphon milk more. This stuff tastes kinda off." shi sets the bottle down. Shi gives a thumbs up to Nova in approval for the new omlette and settles in to wait.
Meniatz smiles warmly as shi picks up Zero. "I'd love to, sweetie." Shi replies sweetly as shi slithers out the door. Shi sets Zero down onto a chair and gives hir a kiss as shi sits down to finish hir omlette. "Hello, everyone. We're back."
Antiman looks over to Nova, "Thanks Nova." Sie then shrugs, "Fair enough, but one shouldn't give up after failure. You might still like Tobasco sauce if you use a small amount on a small portion of your omlet."
Zeroone leans against meniatz as she's carried and feels slight regret when she's set in the chair. She looks down at her likely half cold omlettes and takes the hot sauce to shake on top. Melanie looks at zero like she's insane before realizing there was something more pressing. "Um...so, you okay?" Zero turns to look at hir and shrugs while shaking her head. She then starts eating, leaving Melanie to conteplate trying anti's offer. Shi looks to hir and says "You...aren't trying to trick me or something, are you? Because you really hurt me downstairs, and I think you wanna get back at me for coming after you."
Antiman shakes hir head, "No I'm not trying to trick you. And revenge is not part of my belifes. I only did those things because of what your orders you gave Zero could have made her do. I take no pleasure from causing pain."
Meniatz gives Anti and Mel a kiss. "You two getting along?" Shi then heats up hir dinner and sits down next to Zero. "So, I have decided to give our lovely Zero a new name. I think it will help when she becomes her own mistress."
Zeroone says "Mel, hon, I like it. Just try it." To demonstrate, she eats a bit of cool spicey egg herself. Melanie looks at Anti's egg, then to anti and back again. "Um...I guess? But just a little. My mouth still hurts from before..." Zero turns to Menaitz and says "What makes you think that's gonna happen? This one doesn't really have any idea what to do anymore."
Antiman gives an open beaked smile, "Thats great!" Hir ears droop a little at what Zero say's. Sie gives Mel a small amount of what sie offered, "Here you go, Mel."
Antiman then answers Meni's first question, "Better than expected actualy."
Meniatz coils around Zero and her daughter as shi coos softly. "Because you have a reason to keep fighting for your freedom. Because you have a family that loves you and wants you to do what truly makes you happy." Shi begins preening Anti. "Glad to hear it."
Antiman skree purs and scritches Meni, "And because we'll never leave you no matter what."
Melanie takes the peice and places it in hir mouth. After a bit of chewing, shi cinches hir eyes shut and works hirself to swallowing. "Mm...no...just no." shi shakes hir head. "Not me." Zero one responds to Meniatz and Anti with a deadpan voice and expression. "This one appreciates the sentiments...but those aren't going to fix her condition." she goes back to eating.
Meniatz frowns as shi droops in between Zero and her daughter. Shi nuzzles up to both of them before whispering to Melanie, "I think now might be a good time for you to tell her how much you care about her. It'll mean more coming from you."
Antiman shakes hir head, "I disagre, healing is as much spritual as it is physical. If you don't belive that you can get better then you won't. I think there was a measurable diffrence between cancer patients who thought they could get better than those who didn't."
Meniatz churls "We've worked to hard to give up now, Lucy. I can feel we're really close now."
Melanie sighs lightly and rolls hir eyes before giving meniatz a look of "Really? Come on." Zero one nods solemnly to Antiman and says "This one will try." When meniatz next speaks, Zero turns to hir and says "Close to what exactly?" with a confused look. It's not like they had some plan on how to fix her.
Meniatz finishes hir omlette before speaking. "Well, the way I see it, you seem to be getting better and better at expressing individuality...even if you can only subtly hint at it. I just figured that maybe...you were becoming a stronger person--that you are getting better at resisting, or maybe even changing, whatever programming is--or was--controlling you.
Antiman takes another piece from hir omlet, takes a bite and swallows. Sie looks to Meni with curosity then nods in understanding, "Or finding the loopholes in the programming."
Zeroone stops eating and pokes at the food. "Yeah...maybe. This one isn't so sure but if you think so..." Melanie looks irritated, and is tapping hir fork on the table a little. After a little bit, shi huffs and puts hir fork down. Shi the mumbles something. Zero glances to hir. "What was that?" shi mumbles it again. Zero looks irritated. "You have to speak up if you want me to-" "I believe in you." Melanie blurts out, and looks away. If the fur wasn't in the way, the blush on hir face would be furious. Zero looks surprised.
Meniatz smiles and puts hir dish in the sink, not wanting to ruin the moment.
Zeroone smiles a little and reaches out to hug Melanie. Melanie responds with "Oh god, why'd I say that?" before getting hugged. "Noooo, stooooop~" shi whines, trying to push Zero away. Zero won't be deterred however. Mel looks genuinely uncomfortable.
Antiman follows Meni with hir plate and gives hir a hug after putting it in the sink.
