Ever since Mathew was a teenager he had loved animals. He wanted to know everything about them. The topic he was most interested in was how they communicated using pheromones and scents. After receiving his doctorate in zoology he proceeded to build himself a laboratory in his basement. At the time of the outbreak he was experimenting with sex pheromones.

Before the virus outbreak Mathew usually spent his time studying various sex pheromones in his basement lab. A couple of days after he was infected he had accidentally locked himself in his basement with no conceivable exit. All the pheromones he had collected in his lab drove him crazy do to his heightened sense of smell. After escaping from his lab he found the Prometheans who helped bring him back to sanity. However do to the extended period of time spent trapped in his lab he is almost constantly horny in every sense of the word. He isn't very picky on who wants to help with his problem so he's always
