The doors to Full of Bull are propped open as signs outside declare (with some aid of friendly Mall Rats), an open house lesson on making tasty pasties. The rich aromas that linger about the eatery waft out to aid in drawing in attention, and within, a large table is settled at the far side of the room with enough space behind it for the hostess, Taura, to stand. On it are a variety of bowls with ingredients and stacks of tools and other items to aid in the workshop. The bovinesque woman's apron already shows bits of flour clinging as she nods and greets those that arrive with a cheery smile.

A gator enters the room and returns a warm smile of hir own to the bovine woman standing at the front of the room. "Howdy! I take it you're Taura, the one hosting the baking lesson here? It's nice to meet you, then, my name's Arris." Sie would offer her a handshake, and taken or not, the gator would assume a cooking station in the middle of the others as sie waited for more participants to join in.

Arthur was around the restaurant earlier when he got the notice of the lessons in pasties. With luck, he thought to himself, he might even manage to learn enough to teach back to some of his students. As soon as he arrived at the course proper, he gave a big smile back at the large bovine. "Hello! So, where do I stay? Just pick a place and wait for instructions?"

A bat enters the restaurant, the smells might have drawn her in were it not for the ad placed earlier. She stops for a moment as she sees the bovine woman and makes the connection between the restaurant's and her presence.

She walks up to the woman and greets her, "Hi, I'm Violet, I bet that you're Taura. Thanks for hosting this."

The bat's gaze drifts across the restaurant until it passes over to Arris , she walks over to hug the gator, "It's nice to see you again." And stands by an adjacent station.

The bovinesque woman's cheery disposition blooms all the brighter as she nods to Arris' question, "Oh, yes, that would be me," in a richly depthed but womanly voice. it carries with it the low timbre and resonance of her broad chest but the sweet afluence of hospitality and femininity both.

Her eyes blink a few times, doing her best to see who all is present... it seems she may be a bit near-sighted, and she claps her palms together, "Alright then. If you aren't aware, I am Taura, the owner of this eatery, and today, we're going to learn how to prepare pasties! If you're not familiar with what a passty is, it's a pastry that's like a folded-over piecrust with filling within. Back in the day, Hostess and other companies that existed prior to P-Day would make fruit and pudding-filled ones, but they've been a mainstay for decades."

Motioning towards the smaller tables serving as workstations, she continues, "There is a separate workspace for each of you, so long as we don't get rushed, and I've ingredients ready, prepared by the Promethean farms and other sources. When everyone's settled in, we can get started. I'll pass around supplies, then, and the instructions will begin!"

Arris returns the hug, giving Violet a light kiss on the cheek as well. "Nice to see you too! Glad to see you're still doing well." Hir attention would shortly be returned to the front as Taura began speaking.

"'Pie crusts with 'filling', huh?" The gator takes a moment to glance around at the mutants surrounding hir. "Knowing us, at least ONE person here is going to fill theirs with cum. The question is, who it's going to be."

Arthur gave a slight nod towards Taura and the others, then went to his workspace, putting on an apron to avoid too much dirt on his clothes. "Are we going to learn a specific recipe for the filling today?" He asked while taking in the aroma of the place, his nose delighting itself in the variety, to the dismay of his stomach, which wouldn't get to taste anything for a while. He also snicked at Arris' comment, but shook his head and remained quiet.

The bat giggles and points at the sign, her face a pantomime of disappointment, "Well, looks like that isn't allowed." She listens to Taura and takes stock on the things in front of her. There are several things, all easily identifiable with cooking, none of which she knows the name of.

Eventually, she just turns back to Taura to listen.

"Yes! Folded crusts with filling, but far more appetizing than that might sound," Taura says to Arris' comment, her smile still ready and broad upon her thick lips. She strides along the larger table, plucking up smaller bowls and scooping ingredients into them, balancing them along one arm's curl, cradled, before deftly stacking up a few slabs of white something , blocks of it. "Alright, here we ahve flour, sugar, salt, butter, and cream cheese. What I'll be wanting you all to do is measuring amounts and cubing the butter and cream cheese both. We'll be combining the dry ingredients, first before tossing our cubes in and blending it together, either by hand or with a whisk, as you prefer."

The bowls are deposited at the smaller worstations, as well as the paired blocks, "Make sure to be thorough in blending to get a mostly homogenous, slightly crumbly consistency. I'll walk around and take a look, and I'll also be available for questions." Setting down the last set, "Once we do this part, we'll get into shaping."

Arris spots Arthur putting on and apron and hastily puts one on hirself, taking the cue a bit late. "Just that? Sounds simple, so far..." The flour, sugar, and salt are combined in Arris' bowl before sie begins whisking them together. "How would we go about mixing these with our hands, might I ask?"

Arthur suddenly felt like he was on one of those old TV shows that were exactly like this, one chef teaching a recipe and a bunch of students trying their best to replicate it. The only thing missing was a camera. In any case, the humanoid dragon folded his wings neatly on his back and mentally measured the things, his facial expression that of someone finding joy in the concentration while looking at the bowls. "So, mix the flour with salt and sugar, get small measures of the butter and cream and then mix it all, right?"

The bat watches Arris measure it out hirself before imitating it, mixing together rougly similar ratios (by her estimation), and whisking them together in the bowl in front of her. She looks towards Arris, and sticks her hand into the mixture briefly, the sensation of the sticky-thick mixture making her shudder, before wiping the hand on an apron sitting unused in front of her. She turns back to the gator, considering what advice she'd give, mixing in some of the remaining ingredients, "Well, by my best estimation, you don't mix it with your hands if you can avoid it."

Making her rounds, Taura pauses with Arris' question, "If you're doing it by hand, it's akneading motion. Much like how you would work clay. You dig your fingers in, mashing what's there together and roll your hand, folding and then pressing with palms to combine it. Repeat that process over and over, ensuring you pull the matter through as best as possible. Like whisking, but, a much firmer approach and probably best, since we're using cold-hardened butter and cream cheese." Looking over the croc's progress, ashe nods, "Doing well," before moving along.

Taking a look over Arthur's ministrations, Taura comments, "Try kneading the butter in before doing the cream cheese. It's chilled to firmness, so, you may need to knead with your hands after whisking the dry ingredients. You'll want it to look crumbly, not like powder and cubes, like it does right now. Just keep at it, and I'm sure you'll get it homogenously crumbly," before she comes over to where Violet's working and blinks, "Oh my... did you use the measuring devices we have here to get the proper ratios, or did you eyeball it? It looks like you're a bit heavy on the sa-... wait... how'd you get pepper?"

Arris keeps on whisking, making steady circling motions with each cycle. After a few more rotations, sie eventually starts adding in the cubes. After every few stirs, sie would look into the mixture again, using the whisk to test the consistency. "So, when are we adding in the butter and cream cheese?"

"From the pepper shaker." The bat says, a look of confusion passing over her expression, "But where'd I get that?" Violet asks raising an eyebrow and handing it over to Taura, "I eyeballed it off of the measurement that I watched Arris pour in. That seemed reasonable" She shrugs, starting to mix again, "I didn't notice wherever the proper measurement was."

Arthur looked over his bowls and nodded at Taura, his smile slowly going away and his human face looking even more focused on the task at hand. Following her instructions, whisking and kneading, he also couldn't help but look over the bovine lady and the fox-faced bat, appreciating their curves, especially those huge cow breasts, how her milk must be really tas- focus, FOCUS! He shook his head and took a deep breath, trying to get all those lewd thoughts away from him, at least for the time being.

With a wry laugh, Taura heads to the main table, producing more flor and other ingredients from teh bowls and setting the new portions nearby, "Alright, here, let me walk you through it. Do you see the cupswith the markings I've got on the main table? Those are the proportions you want to use. So, try to make your cup look like the one I have on the main table for when you fill it up. Then, you'll want to put all these dry parts into the bowl, WITHOUT adding anything extra. One you get it to look like this.." She holds up a bowl of pre-kneaded dough, "We'll start rolling it out onto a floured surface."

Arris looks around for a knife, and once sie finds one, sie begins preparing the butter and cream cheese into cubes, trying hir best to get them into uniform proportions similar to the size of the cubes shown, all while speaking under hir breath the instructions. "...add it in and knead, then get it to look like..." As sie starts kneading the mixture, hir eyes glance up to the front table. "...like that."

The demi dragon nodded and kept nodding a bit more, then discreetly stopped and pretended to be just thinking to himself once he realized the master chef finished talking. Those breasts will ceratinly visit his dreams.

Arthur did his best to copy Taura, hoping his dry powders mix was at the right point, then cut small portions of the milk derivatives (and wondered whether they were derivatives of her milk) and added them as they were, whisking the mixture a bit too hard. "Er, is-... No, nothing, I think I got this."

The bat sighs to herself and starts over, using the measurements and starting over. She pours the proper ingredients in this time, whisking it with quick motions. Once it's consistent, she does as directed, finding that her kneading doesn't seem to be able to put it into a consistent shape, and that the prospect of modelling the mixture physically is more entertaining than the frustrating process of forcing this mixture of dough into the correct shape. She manages to make it circular and waits before taking the chance that it might end up ruined again. She mutters to herself, "It's amazing that I manage to make food for myself at all."

Arris gives Taura a nod before sie drops hir blob of dough onto the flour, getting back to kneading it and making sure to spread out the powder evenly. Once it looks like sie's taken up all of the flour, sie glances left, then right, then inscribes a small heart symbol on the dough's plushy surface. "Alright, when are we gettin' to put the filling into the pasties?"

Arris gives Taura a brief nod. "Thanks for having me over! I'll have to keep in mind to tell my friends, definitely." Another warm smile is given her way, before the gator makes hir way over to Violet to plant a brief kiss on her cheek.

Arthur cleaned his clawed hands on the apron and took it off, leaving it where he found it. Once he got to Taura, the only things going around his mind were ways to seduce her. Instead, he was silent for an akward long time, just looking into her eyes. Hell, he didn't even know whether she was into men, but a man can dream, right? After that awkward moment, his mind took control again and he tried to play it cool, offering his hand for a shake. "I'll be sure to tell my students."

The bat looks over her recent attempt. It came out looking kinda nice, compared to the previous attempts. As the gator gives her a peck as she's admiring her own mediocrity, she blushes intensely before wrapping an arm around the gator's back and following her out.
